Im extremely disappointed with this company .I was very excited about putting a quartz countertop in my primary bathroom two sinks with vanity in between. I questioned the men upon insulation regarding installing it too far out . Regarding , when the doors would open on the sides it would hit... I called the company and the lady said it was my problem and my fault. She was defensive raised her voice and sort of in an attack mode. They took the measurements previous to insulation so I dont know how this was my fault.Unfortunately ,I let it go.. not to mention the men couldnt speak English which made it very difficult to explain to them what I was trying to say.Now I have to live with my 2,300 dollars quarts countertop.. putting a dent on each side of my cabinet every time the door is opened.I should have pursued it further but I trusted them and thought they were right.Dont make the same mistake I did. At least go somewhere else, I cant stress enough how disappointed I am in this company.

Carol H. 11/10/2020When my husband and I were looking for a granite counter top for a laundry room makeover we were referred to Eastern Surfaces. Lee, the designer we worked with was fantastic. She was very patient, made excellent suggestions, and had an exceptional eye for color. Because of our experience with her we ended up buying granite for four bathroom vanities as well as for the laundry room. The installers were also terrific. Recently we went back to find a piece of quartz for a shower seat. We highly recommend Eastern Surfaces and Lee!

Lack of professionalism no return phone calls or communication. They indicated that they always have the granite top that we choose from stock. Tried to set up a appointment either way they didn’t call back and when I finally got hold of them they said they don’t have my granite choice in stock.Well finally we had our laser measuring. The gentleman said he highly recommends viewing a slab. We shared our experience with him and asked we keep trying because sometimes the granite viewed in the store don’t match in color with the actual slab.We placed a phone call, guess what no phone call for three days. Once we spoke they said they have a slab granite that we wanted. I asked could you send a picture of the slab because my wife could not go. They did.Here is where the fun continues two hours before the appointment I received a email that the slab that they confirmed was there , and that I was going over to pick out a section from was given to another job. #1 I didn’t see the email until I received a phone asking if I saw the email. One hour before my appointment.No I didn’t, I replied. They said that a piece was left over that they “think” will work for our project.So upon arrival to the store , several customers where outside waiting to enter the store. We all started talking, and everyone of us where experiencing an unprofessional installs.When I had the opportunity to view my slab it was in ruff condition but she said of coarse it will be polished and cut to your project. We started this project back in May and it’s now October. I felt we really didn’t have a choice but to accept that slab or wait to who knows when they would have a chance to get another slab. An have the opportunity to pick a section from a slab. “Even though depending on who you talk to it’s always in stock “ We accept the slab that I viewed. I asked since the slab is here will that speed up the install date? She said the paperwork would have to be completed and that someone will reach out to you. Well another week has gone by an no phone call or any communication.So I the customer is always having to connect the dots. I will have to call. Hopefully the slab fits my project, Hopefully they give me a install date. Hopefully this will all be over soon!

We purchased our UBA TUBA (color) granite countertop from Home Depot in November of 2020. We had some delays with our kitchen so we had to push back our install date. When we were ready for the install eastern surface said they will not be able to come out until late May. We said that will not work for us because he have no water until the granite is installed. The lady pushed up the date for us 4/20/21 which was much better than late May. The only complaint I have is they don’t call back to your left messages, you have to call and get someone on the phone. The two men that came for the install were really great at what they do. They had a sense of humor and can talk to them and ask questions about the granite and they both were more than happy to answer them. Thank You Eastern Surface overall good service. (I would recommend Eastern Surface.)

Ordered my Silestone quartz countertop from Flooring America and Eastern Surfaces did the installation. I am extremely happy with the work done and would gladly recommend to anybody.

Customer service is a joke. Took 8 weeks to get through the process and never once received a retuned phone call or email. Installation crew left my front door wide open with no one home and left only one sink drain setup for a double sink. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

Ordered ours through Home Depot, I had gone to several private companies because I was told dealing with the box stores and their contractors was terrible. Well Home Depot and Easter Surfaces had the product I liked best and the BEST price around! I had an issue with one of my pieces where the edge was not measured correctly so the overhang was almost non-existent. I told the installer, and he agreed with me and when signing the paperwork he told me to note it and to call Home Depot and they would put a ticket it. I did that, and about a week later ES called, I explained, they had another piece cut and the same installer came back to install. I am so happy with how it turned out! Now we are in the process of having the backsplash done! And the new piece was installed during COVID-19 and ES called and screened us to make sure it was safe for their employees to enter our home, you can tell when a company really cares about its customers and employees!

Ordered countertop from lowes. and easstern was on the money from the time the came to take measurements to the 2 guys that installed it. great job guys it looks great and the guys were very professional thanks !!

I am highly disappointed on the color of the product. This company is extremely unprofessional, dishonest, and untrustful! We picked a dark gray countertop for my renovated kitchen that match all the appliance and paint, unfortunately we received a whitish one instead. When I called them, they transfer me to their manager Ileen who was super rude and was blaming it on the agent. She stated that we cannot make a choice based a photograph on the website and that the agent should send you to us to pick … How are we supposed to shop then? And what is the website for if the colors are not matching the name? Just to let you know Ileen, that agent that you are blaming ordered the flooring for us from China and the kitchen from abroad as well, and everything was matching what we pick except your product. And he did not have to send us to Chine to ensure that what we picked is matching the photograph or the display. The product is off the website now and she said that they do not carry in stock anymore! That may be explain why we received a replacement that is not even close to what we want. … I shopped online my whole life and I was never disappointed that much! If you order a red dress, you expect 10% color variation, but you will not receive a white one instead. They install it while the constructors were there, now even if we want to pay for a new one, there is a risk of breaking the kitchen cabinets and they really don’t care about it… They did not even apologize! But I am going to follow up on that because of the quality on their costumer service!

Great customer service and I havent even bought anything yet.

The installation of my countertop does not look like it was done by professionals. The seams are visible and you can feel the ridge where the pieces dont meet up exactly. They used clear silicone everywhere instead of a color matched caulk. A gap between the countertop and backsplash is very obvious behind the sink. I emailed the Home Center Account Manager with pictures of problem areas and did not get any response.

I recently installed beautiful marble style quartz countertops. Because of the size of the island, two slabs were required. The staff did an outstanding job matching the slabs, and made a great effort ensuring that the seam is as subtle as possible. When people see it for the first time they have trouble finding the seam. I could not be happier.

Funny, i posted my complaint/comment with this company and my initial review still has not posted. Look at the reviews people! Folks are not lying. My rep was Courtney who couldnt even manage to call to set up an appointment. I went through Home Depot to try and get countertops and these people are unprofessional to say the least. They told me that they would charge extra if I didnt remove snow for my sidewalk and driveway?? Im a homeowner but somehow need this explained to me. The day of the lasering I was on a conference call with my employer. Then this ignorant man comes to do the measuring. He comes in and steps around my rug on newly installed ceramic tile (just came outside from the snow). Laser guy Charles Shrawder cant seem to answer any questions about the process other then to tell me to refer to my order. Charles then proceeds to take a call, while im still on my conference call !! Speaking so loudly that I cant hear my conference call. Did I mention we are still inside of my house. Needless to say I had an out of body experience, placed my conference call on hold and told Charles to finish measuring and get the hell out. I told him how unprofessional he was, i explained at no time is it appropriate to take a call when you are in the residence of a customer. If his call was that important then he needed to step outside. I called Home Depot and told them my experience, canceled my order, called the company (which didnt matter cause the owner Chuck Martin doesnt care) and told them I would not be using them. Chuck said he wasnt going to argue with me and said fine. I guess Eastern Surfaces is getting all the business it needs. BEWARE..LOWES AND HOME DEPOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU NEED TO ASK WHO THE INSTALL COMPANY IS BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR ORDER. Reviews dont lie and you can see the pattern in the manner they post..2 bad reviews ..then a 5 star review with no comment..no picture. And responses are phony Owner has Responded..Chuck doesnt care and anyone that has spoken to him can tell.

We have had Eastern Surfaces services for two different jobs. Both jobs were professionally accomplished. The first involved a challenging trip upstairs with 8 ft of quartz. The prep work and photos taken to man the job were comprehensive. The counter fit perfectly even around window trim!The second was a bigger job and also done well. When I needed a return for an issue, (it turned out, our plumber had help create) their attention and problem-solving was prompt, professional, considerate and complete! We would hire them again!

My wife and I ordered a stunning quartz countertop from Lowes. Which has Eastern Surfaces installing it.First Ill start with the good. The installer that came to measure the counters the first time informed me of my error when installing the farmhouse sink. He still took base measurements to get approximate size.Now the bad..On the 12th of January, My wife was emailed about the 29th was available for install, to which she responded that was fine.On the 19th, we received an email stating the 29th may not be available. This was after responding on the 15th to go with the 29th.On the 28th, my wife tried to reach out asking if the install was indeed going to happen since, havent heard anything since the 19th. Only to get a response 45 minutes later, stating the date was no longer available..this is the day before we had planned!!Now on the 29th, I tried to reach out only to be hung up on, then to not having my call answered. This was around 1:00pm.Now we dont know when our expensive purchase will finally be installed and seems like we cant be given a time of day to communicate with. After the final email, my wife responded back with both our numbers and emails. Have not heard back!Communication is major issue...very unprofessional.

Extra care and accuracy was shown. Laser measuring = perfect fit. The worker that came for the measuring was very friendly and explained everything so that I could understand. The 2 workers who came to install took the time to protect all areas of the workspace, even down to covering the carpet as they were entering. They asked pertinent questions as the install process happened. Asking for approval from the customer at each step. This is my first experience with them and was extremely impressed. I would like to continue being a customer as I have other projects to complete. Thanks for going the extra mile! It was appreciated.

Avoid at all costs. No communication at all, even when you call them... IF, you get in contact with your areas rep, they will tell you what you want to hear and not follow through. I ordered my countertop in early September, and here we are, almost January, and still no completed countertop, or any idea on what is happening.... months of waiting and no communication... real close to getting my money back and looking elsewhere (would probably get it sooner), this is beyond ridiculous. Save yourself the anxiety and look elsewhere, if you want a completed countertop anytime within a year.

I went to Eastern Surfaces looking for a granite threshold & niche shelf for my walk in shower.Everyone, especially Joan was very helpful & polite& knowledgeable. It was a hot summer day and my shorts didn’t have pockets. They immediately gave me a small cloth bag to carry my samples & other items in.I made it clear up front that I was only looking for a couple small remnant pieces. Joan was very helpfulIn finding a color & texture that will be perfect.Joan also redid my drawings, & was helpful inSelection of finishing for edges.In summary Joan took the time to help me & I was treated politely & respectfully.

Eastern Surfaces did an excellent job measuring and installing our countertops. They were very accommodating when our project was delayed. When we were finally ready, they quickly came to both measure and install. We both work, but they were great about working around our schedules and being on time for our scheduled appointments. All of their employees were always polite and professional. We did all of the preparation work ourselves, and they were very clear and helpful about what needed to be done.

We had our new kitchen counter tops made and installed by Eastern Surfaces and we could NOT be happier! The workman that came to measure and then customer service staff that set the appointments and the installers, ALL were helpful, efficient, very knowledgeable in what their job was, and if the need arises we will for sure use them again, and tell everyone we know the Eastern Surfaces is a great and reputable company to do business with. Very disappointed because the countertop does not cover the cabinet below it. Should have been 1/8 inch bigger to cover cabinet. Very disappointed.

Service was outstanding. Workers were friendly and efficient. Product was handled with utmost care and situations were explained in detail. We are very satisfied with Eastern Surfaces!!

Terrible Experience thus! Three weeks and we are still waiting for a hearth! Went in on 9/4 to choose our stone WITH A FULL TEMPLEATE ready to go! Picked out three choices. Two remnants and one full slab. A week later recd the numbers for our job (9/11). Thought about it over the weekend and advised Joan on the 14th we were interested in the Trillium for certain and that my husband would be there later in the week to place the template on the piece. She assumed our template would fit the smaller piece which we said on the 4th it WOULDNT and they sold the larger piece to someone else. THEY HAD OUR TEMPLATE ON HAND!! My husband drove all the way there on that Friday and to his surprise our stone was gone. Joan never picked up the phone or said ANYTHING that the piece we were going to use was sold. So it came down to E.S. was cutting another job with Trillium and if there was enough left we can have what was left for our job. Well there wasnt enough and now here we are three weeks later and no stone. She is trying to suggest other looks that we might like. We arent interested in another look. We picked one and it was then sold! So now we have to wait til another job leaves left overs but the chance that there will be enough is the question. And note this other job isnt getting templated til 10/9. 5 weeks AFTER we were there - no stone. No apologize and we have to wait! Oh .. we can get what we want... from a full slab for double the cost! NOT FAIR AT ALL! Our project is completely delayed and at this point will my house be finished in time for Christmas? I wish other places near by carried this color!

Issues from beginning to end , which took 3 months. Rude, delayed or no call back. NO inner office communication. I can’t say enough about the disappointing experience. I’m was so over repeated phone calls and some of the employees should not be in customer service.

Friendly and knowledgeable sales persons, took the time and effort to go over our needs and provided many options, explaining the pros and cons of each product. In the end we went with quartz countertops. We picked out our slab and section we wanted. Installation was fast and the techs did a great job. Absolutely nothing negative to say about the experience. I just wanted to say thank you to the entire team at Eastern Surfaces.

Had our kitchen countertops installed today. Love them!!! Everyone, from customer service, to the tech that measured to the guys that installed them, were very helpful and respectful. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone!! Thanks again, for a job well done!!

Eastern surfaces did a fantastic job with my soapstone kitchen counter tops. In addition they also made me matching knee wall caps and window sills for my bathroom. The service was excellent from start to finish. Lee helped me with my choices and was professional and patient through the process. The installation team was just as good and the other girls in the showroom helped me pick out tile for my bathroom floors and walls. Cant say enough of how pleased I am with this company. Bought our countertops through Home Depot. Eastern Surfaces did the measurements, cutting of our solid surface choice and the install. Great customer service too! Very pleased. Highly recommended.

Always a confusing experience. Start with one person, then the order gets switched to another person. Had $10,000 dekton project installed and it arrived with a strange square mark on it (clearly from an adhesive label, maybe sitting in the sun too long?) the installers did not see it, i pointed it out to them. A technician came out and spent an hour working on it to no end. Said the manufacturer wanted to see it. Never heard back from anyone.Installers decided to cut the dekton in the bedroom with a grinder and vacuum despite me offering work areas outside.Template guy assured me the kitchen sink would fit fine, yet installers had to cut the metal sink 1/4” to get the faucet to go in.Yet the special templating equipment?Installers gave me a wave goodbye without a final walkthrough. I then had to chase them down the driveway because of a glaring gap i specifically said had to be closed with the template guy. The installer then pushed the two pieces of dekton together and split the joint open and said “all better now”It’s confusing working with Eastern Surfaces.

The installation team did an excellent job installing our granite countertops and sink. They ran across an issue with the under countertop sink and cabinets interference fitting, but worked through the issues and were able to complete the installation. All was professionally done and completed in a short amount of time. EXCELLENT JOB !! Would recommend issuing them again.

I contracted Eastern to build a custom vanity top in Quartz. I designed it myself and sent them a CAD drawing for quote. Their pricing was very competitive compared to other vendors in the area. Their staff reviewed the drawing and suggested some design changes. The top was made very quickly. During pickup one of their employees really went above and beyond - he noticed that I had been provided the wrong hardware for the under mount sinks. That hardware itself is very inexpensive, but had I gotten home and realized this during the install it would have been a major setback having to go back to Eastern just to pick up the hardware. Their attention to detail of all of the staff made our project a success. Thank you.

We have been dealing with easten surfaces for years...very professional company...we appreciate the relationship with have with melissa and nicole.

Eastern surfaces installed an island and counter tops in quartz. The island is fine(no seam) but the countertop seam is terrible. Behind the sink it’s perfect - but right in the front of the sink the seam is very wide and looks terrible. We paid extra because we thought ES was professional and would do a good job. Very disappointed. I wish I could post photos.

I was very happy with the 2 young men that came and installed my countertops (I apologize that I forget their names). They seemed very efficient in what they were doing and at the end of installation gave me tips on how to take care of my countertops . Thank you for the expertise you take in training your employees to be efficient, and also outgoing and friendly. That includes the fellow that came to do the template too!! I LOVE my countertops!! Their web site allowed us to pick our remnant before we even went into the showroom. Once we signed the agreement it was one week until the template visit and a week later the countertop was installed. It looks great and there were no issues or delays.

I placed my order through Lowes they surely are not the problem.. EASTERN SURFACES ARE THE PROBLEM..... Once I saw they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE QUALITIES... I decided to check out their reviews.. They are not accommodating at all... they dont care if they lose a customer. This company was just calling to set up first appointment and they told me WE CAN NOT HAVE OUR WORKERS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WAITING FOR YOU... keep in mind it was only a 15min difference .. they said 4pm I told them I get out at 4pm and get home by 415pm. I told them then Im going to have to cancel my order... they simply said OK NO PROBLEM.... RUN.... IF THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO ACCOMMODATE A 15MIN DIFFERENCE who knows what they would do to stiff u. NOT FRIENDLY PEOPLE AT ALL

Went with eastern surfaces through home depot. We went with granite countertops. Ran into several issues with the installation. The 1st being that they drilled the faucet hole for the sink in the wrong spot even though the sink already had faucet holes in them for reference. The sink was installed on an angle so the water pools in the opposite corner of the drain. I informed the company of these issues and have yet to here back from them. So we still dont have running water in our kitchen.

Zero customer service. Tried calling several times, cannot get an answer from anyone. Its been almost a month, I spent over $1,200 on a bathroom counter, now they want to charge me extra for this counter to be two pieces instead of one like I requested. This is holding up my project. Im so frustrated. Never again. Dont waste your time.

Ordered granite countertop and installation from Lowes in Sinking Spring. Eastern Surfaces was the installer. They communicated each step by phone from material selection to template to installation. The guys who installed were professional and did a great job even with our warped wall. I was actually surprised at the precise fit. They even drilled an extra hole for a wire run without issue. We were able to visit their operation in Allentown and pick our slab. After a long process of looking at many options we finally (and a bit hesitantly) arrived at Lowes because the price was great and they had the style we wanted. We couldnt be happier.

Eastern surfaces are dedicated to putting their customer needs before their own. They are a very disciplined and attention to detail company.I suggest them for all your countertop needs!

Big and Nice service

5/13/2016 – Amendment to original review on 5/4/2016: While my initial experience with Eastern Services was not a favorable one, I’m amending an initially poor review to provide a well-deserved positive one. The issues I had experienced early on with Eastern Services were entirely customer service oriented and in short, it was originally unsatisfactory. That being said, when I did receive the product, it was beautiful and the installers did a wonderful and timely job. No complaints there.Upon expressing my dissatisfaction with the poor customer service over the course of a month, I was approached by Karen at Eastern Services who provided excellent customer service and was genuinely concerned with the unfortunate level of service I had initially received. As a result, I can say that I would work with Eastern Services again and I would recommend this company. Customer service at any company will not always be perfect, but I can testify that in my case, Eastern Surfaces righted their wrongs and there is no denying the high quality of their product.

Great place and great staff! Especially the installers, they were super professional and polite.

Our dealings with Eastern Surfaces during a recent bathroom renovation was a positive experience from beginning to end. The most noteworthy interaction, however, was with our salesclerk, Joan. She suggested the perfect granite to suited our design concept, as well as helped us find just the right tile for the backsplash and the accent in the shower. We would not hesitate to use Eastern Surfaces again in the future!

Second time was a charm with Roberto and his crew from Allentown, like night and day. We had some issues with first install with Lewisberry crew, but Home Depot and Eastern quickly resolved and quickly expetided a new top. Compared to using Alantic Granite that did the rest of house years ago, Eastern was about $700 cheaper and faster...

Purchased all countertops from Eastern Surfaces. Customer service does not exist at this company. Installers did very poor job and cut hot / cold faucet holes in wrong spot. Looks terrible. Called several times. Was told Joan would be calling me. Never called me back for countertop, but receptionist called looking for last payment. What a joke... I reminded the receptionist of our issues and she said Joan would be calling me... Still no calls... Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I bought counter top through Lowes, subcontracted to Eastern Surfaces, almost $4,000. It was a terrible experience. They lied to me, were disrespectful and rude. It took almost 2 months to get delivery. They set a date to install, waited 3 hours after the appointment and called me to tell me they were not coming. They did not tell me the appointment had been cancelled. The day they did install, the pushed the appointment back, 2 times. They called my home before 7:00 AM and told me it was to make sure everyone was awake. They call this a courtesy call! We I attempted to communicate I was spoken over yelled at and insulted. Once that have an order it is their way or the highway. I would never buy their product again.

Dealing with Eastern Surface has been a good experience from the beginning; working with Karen, the salesperson, to the professional installers who installed the beautiful Quartzite countertop in our kitchen. I would highly recommend this business.

Eastern Surfaces was recommended to us by a business in our Stroudsburg area. We had been to several places because of a bathroom remodel and an updated kitchen backsplash. We met with Virginia Capone and she directed us to various tiles but since the project had not yet started we made no definite decisions. Virginia gave us a few samples to take and urged us to make an appointment when we were ready to start the project. A few months passed and we had made a decision elsewhere and decided to return the tile samples with no appointment. Virginia came out to meet us and wound up showing us different samples working within our limited budget. She worked until closing, forgoing lunch and Im sure other work she had waiting. When we left, we had decided on the bathroom and kitchen tile and were not far outside our budget. Just before the tile was to be laid, the installer said we had to order more bullnose, they had figured wrong. Virginia got it to us in 2 days. I must say everything turned out beautifully! We are so happy with Virginias suggestions and her willingness to work with us even though we just dropped in!! She is awesome!!

Horrible dealing with this company. I purchased a dekton countertop from home depot. Eastern Surfaces came to install my countertop. First they sent 2 different color pieces so i had to call them to come replace the one peice. When they installed The new piece they never glued the one side so it came loose then they had to come back to re glue it l...once again its loose and now they wanna charge me $150 to fix their mistake. Also my countertop got a huge crack in it which they replaces for nothing because it was under warranty but insisted i put metal brackets to hold my island overhang which was quoted at $500. I will never deal with them again.

We had our granite countertops installed by Eastern-it was a great experience!! Installers were professional and did a great job!!

Dont bother, they are unprofessional.We wasted over a month of our time with this company. We spent several hours over a month ago making selections that due to communication mishaps are no longer available. They are working through our basement builder and at we attempted to contact them directly to clear the confusion. But they did not bother returning our calls or would send us emails on fridays asking for feedback.

1st off I got several estimates on granite countertops and Eastren Surfaces came in about $1000 less then other local businesses. Karen was the person who showed us the countertop surfaces. She was very helpful. Once I made a down payment I got a call from a woman who set the appointment to have a person come out to do the laser measurements Im glad that i have some common sense because that person never gave me any prep on what to expect. The counter tops needed to be completely cleared off (microwave and all) and the guy was in my house for about an hour measuring. The installation happened about 3 weeks following the measurements. The men who did the install did a great job seaming the granite at my sink but the caulking under looks terrible. Good thing no one can see that unless they are on the floor.We were a little annoyed because we bought our sink and faucet from them and didnt realize they did not install it. When I called and asked I learned that I signed a paper that clearly stated they do not install. I understand I should have known that since I signed the paper but still feel as tho that should have been explained.We picked our backsplash after the granite install. Im glad we waited. We took home samples and picked what looked best.When we picked the title up they wanted me to sign a paper indicating that I received the tile in good condition before I even saw it. I refused to sign the paper until I saw the tile.When tile came in we installed ourselves.When all was said and done it all turned out beautiful.My only complaint is that little lack in communication.

Stopped by on a Saturday to browse and check out the selection of granite. The saleswoman who helped us, Virginia, was incredibly rude and degrading. She not only scolded me for not knowing about their process to talk to salesperson when you walk in, but when we told her the size of our kitchen she replied with a belittling is that it. We tried to be friendly, but after 15 minutes of her sub par service we left and went to another supplier in Allentown and spent our money there.

The most disrespectful dismissive staff ever... we ordered granite through Lowes not realizing what my husband and I were getting into. The subcontractor who came out to template was incompetent and did it wrong and gave us a lot of BS of what we should do and that what he templates is perfect. Not the case at all. After four attempts, nothing has been completed except the kitchen counter tops. Back splash still off not even at all. All three bathrooms have been held up since May 31, 2015 and today is July 7, 2015. Worst service EVER!!!!! Dealing with a super inappropriate women named Jenn who is totally incompetent. I asked to talk to the owner and I continuously get blocked. This is the most horrible experience ever with spending over 10,000.00 for granite and 6 weeks later still no resolution... I would NEVER RECOMMEND EASTERN EVER TO ANYONE.... THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! My Husband is actually contacting his lawyer. To wait this long with no resolution is beyond comprehension... Although Lowes is trying to help immensely, Eastern does not go out of their way to complete the job and do the right thing. NEVER EVER would I recommend this company! The people who submitted the good reviews, are most likely employees. Dont be fooled and do not use this company, you will be greatly disappointed. Straight up facts for all the hard working AMERICANS who expect good work for their hard working dollars!!! I want to protect all the hard working people in PA who should not experience this. DO NOT TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS.... I am still waiting to have 3 bathroom vanities and backsplashes since May. I would never recommend this company. You are better off spending more money. You get what you pay for even over 10,000,00 dollars....sadly learned and my teenagers are still brushing their teeth in kitchen sink!!!!!

Horrible customer surface! Kept telling us how exact their laser measuring is and our counter top did not even come to the edge of the cabinets! Not willing to fix it unless my entire kitchen was demolished again!!!! Horrible!!!!!

I found the entire staff at Eastern Surfaces very accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful as I was helping a family member choose new kitchen countertops. The countertop showroom was quite impressive - all brands offered at Eastern Surfaces were available to see. Color options, edge detail, and backsplash options were easy to look at, and the staff helped us choose the right countertop surface, color, and edging. We were pleased with the installation process as well and would highly recommend Eastern Surfaces to anyone on the Allentown area shopping for new kitchen countertops.

Spent hundreds of dollars having our sink installed because second person to look at the sink confirmed the cut was wrong. The owner came to look at the counter after numerous complaints and said it wasn’t his fault and dismissively told my husband he didn’t know what he was talking about. Well hundreds of dollars later and another installer and guess what.... the cut was wrong. When we the owner had come out, he like his customer service staff were dismissive of the lack of cleanup, clips hanging out, and goop which he couldn’t even identify. He was supposed to call me back about my complaints, but no follow-up call was made. Worst company. Shame Home Depot contracts with them.

My wife and I recently met with Joan to chose a remnant for a home project. We were return customers and had previously done business with Eastern Surfaces. During our appointment we talked price. Price of course varies depending on the stone, but using the high end price/sqft, estimate provided by Joan, we calculated our counter would costs approximately $750. We picked our top three choices. Joan said she would work up a written estimate which she then emailed to us the next day. Our three choices came in at $900, $1100, and $1300, well above the initial estimate we previously discussed. Perhaps we picked three of the most expensive stones? That said, we were willing to pay the greater cost. However, we then ran into problems when Joan told us over the phone that Eastern Surfaces was now charging an additional minimum sq/ft surcharge of $200. She was very apologetic and claimed this was a new charge that she had just learned about. I asked if they would consider waiving the surcharge since it wasnt mentioned during our initial meeting. The next day she said after checking with her supervisor they would NOT waive that charge. She now said, That charge is a standard quoting practice on our quotes... This is this the issue on why we couldnt move forward with Eastern Surfaces. First, the charge wasnt mentioned and now the story behind the charge changed. I can live if we cant agree on price. Thats business, but when something like this occurs you are just wasting our time. As a side note, doesnt it defeat the purpose of buying a remnant (left overs) if you then turn around and charge a minimum sq/ft surcharge??? Very unfortunate because our first experience with Eastern Surfaces 5 years ago was a positive one.
