The people are nice, polite and professional.Nothing negative to say about the staff here.My experience purchasing a new phone was absolutely awful. The online ordering and in-store pickup was the worst. I placed an order for a new phone and 3 accessories on 4-3-21. Nothing happened for 3 days, and my order showed that theyre still putting your order together on the app.I called inquiring about expected times. No one could help. On day 4, i received an email that my order was ready and canceled. I went to the store. They confirmed that my order was indeed canceled, and directed me to go outside and re-submit the other. I did, but had to go back to the store to have the staff complete the order. They tried directing me to a different store. I adjusted my order and expectations, and was able to complete my transaction.The online Verizon store is flawed and, in my opinion, junk. Kinda sad for a large corporation that deals with technology.Im very disappointed in this latest experience.

If I could give a negative star I would. Wanted to upgrade my phone and daughter but we couldn’t go in together because the sales lady that came out said it’s a one for one customer service. Had an incredibly rude rep, tried making me do my upgrade myself bc she was too lazy to do it herself, lied about her inventory, saying the phone was out of stock and needed to be shipped (LIE), terrible attitude and a liar. Was planning on buying a lot of accessories but Im sure she turned me away bc she thought it would be a naked upgrade.

Christmas around the corner & New Year is soon to be here. Happy Holiday! Where is the Holiday spirit ? where is the customer friendly service? I’m not here to bash Verizon service or the store, a great meeting should take place. This will be my last visit at this location. Last night I’m getting a NEW LINE for my daughter on Christmas,Apple watch for my son and upgrade for myself. The color of the phone’s is Gold for my daughter and Blue for me, she started with the Blue phone than phone accessories, I asked her about the gold IPhone , which they all should know if it’s in stock or not from the beginning when I walked inside, she tried to sell me the silver because she have a silver phone. I told her this is a surprise phone for my daughter which is the color she loves, this is her FIRST IPHONE. She tell me it’s back order till February after spending more than one hour + while my son is waiting outside in the car,I decided to place the order . Here comes my surprise #1 she deactivated my phone & she said it wasn’t her? Surprise #2 the new line for my daughter, I needed 313 area code ,because I have 5 other lines with Verizon with 313 area code. She kept giving me different area code & she mention Chicago. She tried again to sell me the phone with other area code,I said NO she’s goes in the back and the gentleman promised me he can get 313 area code once I have the phone in February & we agreed to document it. I asked her how much longer you need, she has the nerve to tell me I spent half an hour to think about my daughter phone, while she kept blaming her mistake on her Verizon work IPAD.(2-3 times mistake)& than she get a different IPad to finalize the sale . This is NOT a customer service,I got frustrated, my son is waiting for me try to get hold of me he can’t because she deactivate my phone.WALKED OUT with NOTHINGS . I’m glad there’s is a security on site & security cameras.I will call today to credit my account

I went in shortly before closing for a charger for my iPhone because the charger I had an electrical short. The iPhone was purchased less than a year ago with Verizon corporation. I have been with Verizon for more than ten years and Verizon ALWAYS replace equipment that you have purchased through their company. I was faced with a young lady who presented herself as management. I was informed that it was against Verizon policy to replace Apple accessories that malfunction. She then stated she was doing me a “favorite” by replacing the malfunctioning accessory. There are NO “favorites” in good business practices. all the years I have been with Verizon this was the most poor treatment and experience I’ve ever had with Verizon. I won’t be returning to this location.

Worst customer service ever! Ive been coming to this location for literally 10 years, and they have never been so rude! I was told they cant assist me with activating my new phone I ordered on line due to it being sold out in store. After all the attitude she somehow activated my phone after telling me she couldnt? Also I was given a hard time about changing my number. Is this not the point of a phone store? I will not be returning to this location. I feel sorry for you Chanelle and I hope you have a better day!

Waste of time and money, phone less than 6 months old I have to go through a separate company and pay 200.00 to have a phone replaced because they will not fix it, samsung galaxy a50 cracked screen (my fault little welding spatter mishap) and the charging port is messed up (phone is 4 months old) called corporate and was on hold for 3 hours and was told and reassured to go to the verizon store on the hill and it would be taken care of, no.... it was not, not even a phone call to corporate to confirm what was said, didnt look up the account to see the notes on it or anything just basically looked me in the face and said go somewhere else! I had the best experience at this Verizon store. Chris is a very helpful,nice,patient salesman I have encountered with. I definitely recommend him and if anyone needs any help make sure to go see him. He deserves a nice raise for all the hard work he did helping me and dedication he puts towards all his customers! I finally saw Angel after all this time as he is never at the store when I come! He is the person who initially helped me when I switched to Verizon and he went above and beyond then! Angel helped put my mother screen protector on today and his work is perfection! He has a great personality and I will have to make sure I can see him next time he is just awesome! Worked with Kyle. Wonderfully funny, charismatic and straight to the point. Yes these things are expensive but it helps when staff are knowledgeable, honest and making sure customer is getting best bang for the buck. I would recommend this store for quality service!

Best Verizon store in the area. I trust this store with all my concerns. They are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.Not too long ago I went to them because I was having an issue using my iPhone with verizon due to some locking issue. Two other Verizon stores and over 2 and a half hours on the phone with Verizon customer service was not able to solve my issue until I went here and spoke with Jordan. He was very welcoming, determined and skillful and able to solve my issue in less than an hour.The other times I have been there my experiences were just as good. 👍

I went to this location to try and upgrade my phone. I had previously called and waited 15 minutes on hold with no answer. I was greeted at the door by Robin, she told me I wouldnt be able to enter the store without an appointment, I asked how I could make an appointment and she bluntly replied through the app she offered me zero help in how to set up an appointment. I told her I would just figure it out with a different location. She told me that no one would help me at any of the locations without an appointment. I am currently writing this review from inside the Lincoln park location with a face mask and social distancing. I will never go to this location again. I would also like to note that Robin was not wearing a facial covering, which is non compliant with cdc guidelines, also the other employees were noncompliant as they werent wearing masks either.

I had the best experience here. I’ve been to numerous Verizon stores the past few weeks looking to buy a new phone - and this is the only place that took the time to talk to me about whether it was a good idea. Mustafa and Eli were so patient as they explained EVERYTHING to me, including showing me that my current phone had a better camera than the one I wanted to buy. They also explained that I would be losing a promotional value on my line (something no one else explained). If you want good, honest customer service - go to this store and ask for Eli and Mustafa. You won’t regret it!!

But I like this location because they have alot of associates to help and no long lines, my only complaint was that my associate wasnt real knowledgeable about deals and just made me feel like he just wanted a sell. He gave me really no information and I had to ask for a case and screen protector.. Im just use to an associate that is more engaging. I did purchase the iPhone, but I will patronize the Taylor location as I have in the past.

Ashton helped me a lot with first of all her presence and Customer service she seemed like she just fits in and made me feel comfortable buying the iPhone 8 I haven’t thought about switching it’s always been about T-Mobile then metro which second of all has been the most traffic of BS of a cellphone carrier. Verizon has great bundle packages for my iPhone and accessories. Make sure to ask for Ashton when you get in there !

I am so glad I decided to go on the hill. (Allen Park) I met with Chanel and let me tell you... The problem I was having for two days straight was resolved within roughly 15 minutes. Chanel, my family and I truly appreciate your knowledge and ability to assist when needed. After dealing with (TUH) roughly 6-7 reps (over the phone and other Verizon locations) you and Jalisha (over the phone rep) who took the time and actually looked into the matter. Kudos to you both!! Jalisha was not able to resolve the matter she had it escalated to another team. (But she did try really hard). However, the M.V.G.M. (Most Valuable General Manager) is Chanel at the Allen Park location. Thanks to you I put my trust back in my #1 phone company. Great job, Chanel!

After spending 40 minutes of the Sales Rep trying to upsell me on everything, giving me attitude or trying to make me feel small for only wanting my phone and none of their accessories, and finally trying to screw me over on the costs, I had enough. I asked for the manager, who also gave me attitude, so I cancelled my order and walked out. When right to the Canton store and got treated with expert treatment. The Allen Park store is just giving Downriver a bad name, will never go back! Honestly was considering cancelling Verizon all together, but instead decided to just find a better location that knows how to treat customers (rather than treating them like marks in a scam).

Less than one star should be an option for this location. I went in to pick up a phone that was not available at another location. Two of the employees there (one whose name I can´t recall, the other Shantelle - originally from the Dearborn location) proceeded to over talk, try to oversell and completely ignored the fact that I was only there to pick up a phone!They added lines to the acct. tried to sell new services and products WITHOUT addressing the need, and never called Customer Service to get clarity about me being able to just pick a new phone WITHOUT running another application...complete foolishness!After speaking with someone at another location AND a Verizon rep over the phone I was told that none of that was necessary. I should have been able to walk in, get what I needed, and leave...none of the bufoonery these two employees displayed!

Beware of the Angel he is a con artist. He told me he would give me $400 towards a trade in with my galaxy s8, he then suggest trading in me galaxy s6 since its just $5 less for a trade in. I decided to drive out of the way to visit this Verizon store to get my new phone. Ive been with Verizon for about fifteen years and do most of my business online with them but enjoy working with someone when switching to a new phone. I saw all the positive reviews about Adam and decided to trek out to this location to make my switch away from an IPhone. But I got Kyle, who seemed very fresh out of high school and obviously lacked retail experience but I was hopeful that I would be treated with kindness. Instead I barely got treated like a human. Every question I had was completely shot down, my apprehension to being upsold was met with anger and even worse, disinterest. I was treated like a dunce for not wanting to spend 45 on a case (12.00 on Amazon, baybee.) I was fine with paying the price I was paying (I came in to get a new phone, I knew it wasnt cheap) but I work retail and have learned to ask questions.Frankly, Im embarrassed by how green this guy is. I would have spent more if I was treated with some compassion or at least, some eye contact.

The customer service is absolutely horrible. I took my daughter in to upgrade her phone tonight. Yes it was late as In 730 i know you close in a 1/2 hour. While we were talking about what she wanted the guy said have you backed her phone up to a computer or iCloud and I said yes. He then proceeded to tell me he was not transferring any information because it was almost closing time. Umm excuse me? Thats cool I didnt need you to do it, but you didnt need to be so rude about it either! Even my daughter asked why he was so rude. Maybe Verizon needs to start a customer service class for their employees. Very disappointed.

Phone never worked from day 1. Had it for 1 week made 5 trips to the store and 1 call to tech support. They were never able to get my phone working. So after a week I returned it stating it never worked from the time I bought it. They ended up giving me a refund for less than half of what I paid saying thats their policy. What? To sell me something that dont work and then only give a partial refund. Noy my fault that in the 6 attemps verizon could not fix the phone. What a scam. Dont remember the last time I felt so ripped off but manager Jeffery made it happen. Complaint with bbb is pending

June 3, 2018 was the worst customer service and experienced upon going to Airport (I reside in multi states) I stopped in this location to get another phone mine older phone was broke. I asked many question the chick was unsure of herself having to ask her coworker questions to answer my questions. I purchased the Galaxy s9+. the incompetent heffa sold me a mophie that dont match with my phone causing to me still have to take my charger with me everywhere I go. She lied and told me the moto mods I had with my previous phone would match with this new phone LIES LIES LIES.. I question it and she siad OH YES, They will match up including the battery pack.. Sshe told me all previous chargers I had would charge my new phone LIES... hell.. I dont mind spending money just dont lie to me... I tried to ask for management to contact me NOBODY BOTHERED.. I finally did get a text exchange but no resolution.. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After opening a new account online and selecting in store pickup to this location, I had to fumble between the 1800 customer support for verizon as well as two trips to the store. Come to realize the last time i spoke to a representative on the phone she was honest enough and sympathetic to my case due to the face that these iphones were intended to be christmas gifts, she informed me that it looks like the manager at the store who promised me to initially push my order through actually cancelled my order, without my approval. So in the mean time i was called the fraud department and answered each and every one of their questions to take my account out of fraud status because apparently its a problem metro detroit is having. After successfully completing that task, i decided to go back to the store once again to see if they had any updates on their end. Upon arrival the gentleman who seemed to not in the mood to be working asked me for my name and did a fake type, and said i wasnt in the system no record of me. While i was on the phone with the honest representative she then informed me after i had walked out the store upset that i can see where the problem was, the manager of that store cancelled your order, i responded why on earth would a company whos making a 3,000 dollar sale in inventory and a two year contract sale have it cancelled and she honestly replied; they dont make any commission off online sales, and like to keep their stock for commission based sales. Now that i have found this out, i explained to her am i expected to know this as a consumer? My common sense told me its holiday season instead of driving around or calling store to store to verify inventory I should just order it online fill out the applications and pick up at my convenience. But the mere fact that some person can collect an order and have his employees lie to customers faces and still expect people to return is beyond me. I am going to write a formal letter to Verizon Corporate to have them set the ramifications this store deserves. I can now understand why this stores ratings are quite lower than others. I will also go in to the store with my go pro attached and ask the manager if he would like to speak on his stores behalf on camera. Regardless of what happens i will upload the video link to the end of this review. I hope this helps the next family solve any issues they have prior to selecting this store.

Forced to use pay machine despite there being 4 workers and 0 customers in the store. Salesman stated that his bosses insisted he make customers use it because they had spent alot of money on a machine they never use.Customers should not be responsible for a stores bad investments in paymeny machinery. Salesman should have listened to me when I said I wanted to pay at the counter. Eventually I had to pay my bill there anyway because the machine does not dispense change. Salesman should not have mentioned his boss making a bad investment and management should place the pay machine in an area that isnt the darkest corner of the back of the store. Highly unprofessional service.I would have happily e-mailed this complaint to the store manager or left it in a voice mail but Verizon leaves no easy way to complain or even contact any real customer service representative. Spent over 30 mins attempting.

I spent over an hour talking to someone about adding a line and getting 2 new Iphones....over a $1500 value. Appearently the agent I spoke with gave me wrong information, which happens...but the young long haired blonde woman was very egar to let me know. I thought maybe she would follow up with some options.....No. I was out of luck. Needless to say my family and I have been Loyal Verzion customers for over a decade. Not anymore...........Moving to AT&T. Once I stepped in the AT&T store I noticed a HUGE customer service difference. You can let your employee that represents your company know that because of her customer service you lost a good customer..along with my family and everyone I know. At least they WILL NOT be going to the Allen Park store!!! Thanks for the disappointment
