Mannn i came in here just to buy a game and this passive aggressive lady with short hair and an eyebrow piercing (the receipt says her name is cammy) was just being so rude and she thought it was funny!! she also forced me to get a warranty on the game and added it to the transaction without my consent, and was practically begging me to preorder an additional game. she was definitely taking advantage of how uncomfortable she made me. i would avoid this gamestop at all costs due to her unnecessary attitude

This GameStop is way more better they have cheap stuff and it’s way more better than the other one so go to this one

I ordered a Nintendo switch and it was sent refurbished, but it just looked old and used. I brought it in to this location and Byron told me he would call me when they got more switches in. He called me but even 45 minutes later and got me a brand new switch which I wouldn’t have been able to find myself right now. He is an amazing and friendly employee and I really appreciate how well he does his job.

Traded in remotes for a new one. I understand the employee needed to stop checking the remotes in order to help other customers but she would stop helping me the second a customer walked up so the process took forever to trade in 6 remotes. She also wouldnt even give me an estimate on how much I would get so by the time she offered me money for the remotes I had a significant time investment. Not happy with it

Better than other GameStops

I just want to say I had an amazing experience going to this game stop that is located on outer drive and Southfield. The employee that was working, his name was Byron, I have been on a desperate hunt for xbox one brand new controllers and he was kind enough to give me his controller that he had placed on hold himself through his store and gave me his brand new controller so that way I wouldnt have to keep looking anymore. He was super super helpful he even told me how my A10 headset should work with my controllers are supposed to work he even explained to me what I can do to try to fix my problem I can go into my xbox settings if need be to rearrange my microphone settings and fix my problem that way. He was such a wonderful person and I had a great time and good customer service he truly deserves a raise and Byron was awesome and really kind to do what he did.

Game was clearly marked $14.99, rang up in their system for $19.99, would not honor the price, even though this goes against Michigans Item Pricing Laws. Will not be giving my business to this location again.

If you dont like to interact with humans find a new job! This is to the lady that was working the counter on 8/13/2020 @ 5:34pm. For every question there was sarcasm. I asked a question about the different storage on the system. She repeated the amount of storage as if I couldnt hear her. I asked for the difference between a 1 year and 2 year warranty, she replied on is for 12 months and the other... I cut her off and asked for the monetary difference. WTH! I CAN COUNT! Everyone has bad days but dont take it out on customers.

I shop here a lot but not at this location i tried calling the outer drive location in allen park for over an hour and nobody picked up all i was trying to do was see if they had a product in stock so i did not drive all the way there for nothing not a single employee answered the phone for over an hour so i drove to the location only to find out that the item i was calling about was not in stock and i had driven all the way there for nothing and while i was there they werent even busy at all there were two employees and one customer besides myself I think i will stick to my usual location the gamestop on ford rd. In dearborn i never have a problem there and the manager i believe his name is joseph is always helpful and always answers the phone when I call that location

I recently purchased NBA 2K20 for PS4 from Meijers. I had an issue with the commentary not playing correctly. There was no commentary even with commentary at 100 in the options menu. Ive been a fan and a user of NBA 2k for years. Ive exhausted all options to try to fix the issue. Exchanged the game and even tried a different PS4. I googled the issue as well as visited YouTube. I then decided to call gamestop in Allen Park for information. I had the pleasure to speak to Byron for advice and he went above and beyond to help me. And Im not even a customer! He gave me advice and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I took his advice in regards to the game not playing properly. I am now happily playing NBA2K20 with all the updates and features (and commentary). Thank you very much Byron! Great manager and pleasant to talk to. Go see Byron for all your gaming needs!

Went in on 12/22 ready to buy my children a new game console. A great employee name George was the most helpful person I could ever ask for told us not to buy it in store but online because their was a better deal to help us save more money answered every question I asked and was one of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of talking to compared to other GameStops I went to that day I can say I will never go to another one

Ive been a loyal customer for years at this location since the one in Melvindale closed years ago. The employees are almost always very nice, helpful and down to earth. They do 9 p.m. releases for brand new games on occasion and they are run so well that Im never there that long even with huge lines. They can get very busy around the holidays (which is not their fault obviously) but they still seem to handle it well. They even sell cool shirts! Will continue to go here for anything gaming related.

Cammy was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. She explained all of the differences between the Nintendo switch and switch lite.

Normally have a good expierence. Went to go today, limiting 10 person in store, which we understand. They have no one regulating this. 2 people came in after us and they told us to leave and stand outside. Then rude employee said ok bye! Thats fine if you want to limit it but limit it fairly. If we were there first then we shoulda been allowed to stay in.

Stopped in here a few days ago with my son, and this is a great store! There was only one employee there when we were shopping, has name was Paris and was the Assistant Manager. He had a very positive attitude and was very helpful and knowledgeable, the dude definitely knew his stuff. We live in Monroe, so we only come to this location when were in the area, but I highly suggest this location for your next GameStop trip!

Im a gamer so gamestop will always get 5 stars. Not a great place to trade games. In my opinion I feel you should collect them and see if they will be worth more later down the line.

Got no complaints. All the employees Ive done business with have been kind and courteous. Also have never tried to sell me anything extra but just told me about their special deals and events.

Stopped in earlier today with a system that Id been having problems with, and was able to determine the cause of my problems thanks to a very helpful employee (Gary). Unfortunately the part we determined I needed was not in stock, but every nearby store as well as their online provider was checked and I was eventually directed to the main site to order the item myself. Without this great service I would still be stressing out over what exactly was causing problems with my system, Im very grateful for this store.

Very terrible experience. Im from Canada, something I wanted is only sold in the states. So I called this store because it is a 3 hour drive across the boarder for me. I was informed by the lady who was working at the time that they had what I was looking for and that there would be no problem.So I get ready and make the 4 hour rip all the way to the store, I get there and im looking for the item and I cannot find it, I proceed to ask the gentleman that was working if he knew where it was. Well it turns out it was a code that they needed to print off for me once I purchased the iten which wasnt a big deal for me. Well, im in line, in the process of purchasing the item and the guy tells me he cant sell it to me because the person who I was speaking with before failed to mention, that, the item im trying to buy cannot be sold until 4 days later in a big yellow box over top of the item.Advised me there was nothing he could do so I could try a different store.Then I proceeded to drive 4 hours all the way back home for nothing.

Its game stop get ready to lose. Not a bad store just a bad business model. Will sell you broken items at price , and charge you for every lil blemish.

Really good GameStop! Its pretty big and the selection of games is HUGE and the service here is FANTASTIC! I came on Black Friday and there was a long line but everyone was happy as one of the employess with reddish pinkish hair made sure everyone was satisifed and helped them out even though it was busy as cashiers were quickly scanning the games. She was really nice and helpul and deserves a raise as well! Will definitely be coming back to this GameStop for all my gaming needs!

This store, Gamestop #3630, accepted a credit card payment (in person!) from a person who fraudulently obtained my credit card information. Though this has been resolved for me with my financial institution by the fraud department, it definitely shows a lack of training and professionalism exhibited by this store. When someone is making a rather large purchase ($529.99 to be exact..) it is protocol to ask for identification along with the credit card. But this store apparently only cares about the dollar in their pocket. Shame on you.

Well of course I bought another game cant go there without buying one.

Its a Gamestop so they will try to sell you every little extra thing they can. The staff are ok. I wouldnt recommend selling or even trading anything at a Gamestop in general, unless there is a special deal going on. So play it smart when you do business here. They do have some ThinkGeek products so that makes it better at least.

Was at party city next door. Called to check for ps4, didnt have to ask, lady answered with a, hello, gamestop we have the ps4 and xbox one in stock. She told me they had a couple. I literally got in my car drove there less than a min. Soon as I got in I asked for the ps4 she said they just sold out, but we could order one from her. Told her I just called and she said she had a few in store. She looked nervous and said, I just sold them all. Unless money bags from monopoly came in and bought them all in 1 min she was just trying to lure in customers with fake promises.

Good store, a lot of variety and good service, the only detail is that several items can only be purchased online since physically in the store they do not have them, a detail that must be solved, there are people like in my case who with so many scams and problems What is there when buying online we prefer the old-fashioned purchase, and we go directly to the store, I suggested that I cancel to pick it up in the store and it cant be, thats why I give 3 stars, tomorrow Im going to buy online and a ps4 and then I will tell you about the experience
