The Algonquin store is my go to for groceries and household goods. The store is very clean and bright. They always have a nice selection of produce. The staff is friendly and helpful. Last year I used the pickup service after having surgery and it was very accurate with my items.

Placed an online order for drive up service. First time using this service so they had a promo for $15 off $75. Placed the order at 3:30 for same day pick up. The only option was between 8-9:00 so I went with it. At 5:40 I received notification that my order was ready. The email doesnt show anything about some of the items not being available but does show To view your final order details and accept/decline any substitutions, click here. When I clicked on it, 3 items were not available and no substitutes were available. When I called the store to figure out what that means for the promo or if I can add items to reach the $75 the employee had no idea, was not trained for this issue... what?? He did tell me I could not add to the order but that defeated the point of the promo. I did go back into the website and was able to add the items not available back into my cart showing still available at Algonquin. Not sure why there is such a disconnect with their inventory and online pick ups but this should really be looked into. Customer care online shows a blank screen so I ultimately canceled the order. Zero customer service. Ill shop elsewhere.

Meijer in this location is one of the best in a 50 mile radius. Not only they have reinstated safety options and guidelines for all customers, but most of the staff takes care of the potential customers questions and concerns. It is one of the few business locations where dry ice can be purchased (for a blackout emergency situation).A special Kudos to supervisor Dona for her ability and disposition to be fair and professional with patron challenging situations.

Friendly staff, store is always clean and generally well-stocked. Customer service is very good. Produce selection and quality is good, and the bakery is well run.

Cashier Ann seemed annoyed by the amount of items in our cart. I helped her scan some items on the bottom rack of cart and she still gave me the worst attitude. I’m sorry i don’t come and spend hundreds every week to be treated like shes giving us food for free. Oh and she charged us twice for a bag of rice. Time to consider taking my money else where. 2 stars for cleanliness

Very helpful employees when I could not locate a couple items. Lost a greeting card at check out, was not charged fortunately. Love shopping at Meijer, so the card was just an oversight.

Meijers is the number one domestic and international store for all diversity of people. Great store,, great employees,, great price. Overall they are just a great store period!! Also they have the best customer service in store that you want to do business with while shopping in the store. The store is always well stocked with products. And they are very, very clean in the store environment to shop at!!!

Store is clean and safety measures are in place to keep you protected during this pandemic. The product choices and availability is sometimes lacking and requires me to look elsewhere for my shopping items. Self checkout is a breeze and the in person checkout runs smoothly to keep you on time with your errands.

To all the people who buy in Mejier Algonquin store with home delivery service, I recommend that you check your receipt. I placed an order yesterday and they charged me $27.00 more. On all products they increased the price. Be very careful not to be robbed in this way. When I spoke to customer service they did not explain why the store did this!!!!!

Meijer is a very good and reliable store. I like that this place is like one stop store, starting from the garden center, pharmacy to grocery and household items and clothes .

It was nice going back after I hadnt been there for a while. Its a great change as the isles are wider apart and the produce section is more spread out. Going back next week to do my grocery shopping 🛍

Been at Galloways 3 times in 4 days and the place is closed. As Ive been there at different times to catch them open. And the lights are left on and the sign says open. I actually turned the sign to say closed. Was told by Meijers employees its barely never open. And the phone number listed to call, isnt there number. And I even left a message in messenger for them I got no reply back. Very disappointed and if they arent going to be open then Meijers needs to tell them to close their doors. And get a sandwich shop that is open every day , with the the hours listed.

Has better selection that other grocery stores in the immediate area. Usually well stocked, staff is for the most part pleasant and helpful, especially the check out crew. Prices are definitely competitive with local stores as well. I think it has the best selection and value of all the grocery stores nearby.

I like shopping there. You can get everything in one stop. Food,veggies,sweets, new socks lol, shoes. Pretty much almost everything you need. Prices are good. The help is helpful which is strange compared to many other places I go. Whenever I asked for directions to something the person walked me all the way there. So they get 5 stars.

Waited over 20 minutes for RX drivethru.Person who was handling drivethru had very heavy accent and you could not understand her once I finally got to the window. Very aggravating!!

Immediately walking in you can kind of assume that this is one of the bigger locations. First time Ive been, and I was able to find something thats normally sold out at the other locations, it was so abundant that I was surprised nobody was touching it. Whether thats because they just restocked or maybe they just normally keep so much of it, I was happy when I went into this location

I started shopping there a couple of weeks ago because I couldn’t find items I needed at another store nearby. Everything is always so neat and organized. The employees arent very friendly but I can always find what Im looking for so I have started using the self checkout.

BUYER BEWARE- This store and signage is TOTALLY misleading. Literally the worst. Sings posted all over say 50% off lowest clearance price but only SOME clearance with SOME stickers are 50% off. Even if its all one the same rack... it does NOT say this rack/side only it does NOT say this sticker only. It say CLEARANCE as in ALL clearance. When brought to their attention the customer service (3 different women).. all argued. I said your signage is misleading how is anyone who doesnt work here is suppose to know the differente... they basically said too bad and continued to argue. BUYER BEWARE!!!

The store is like a factory full of everything you need in 1 trip. Excellent bakery. Friendly staff. Deli has all you need for any party trays. Has a wider selection for frozen foods then smaller stores. Its just a lot of walking.

I was very disappointed that the item I ordered online was out of stock, even though their Website allowed me to purchase the Calculator and I paid for it. Then i get there and the never had even on calculator to begin with. Bad business in you ask me. I will not order from them again.

Meijer is my usual food shopping place. I like their shop and scan feature in the app where I can scan in my purchases and bag them in my own cloth bags before getting to the checkout. At checkout the download of the purchase is done to the register and completed with payment. Today, I was looking for heads of romaine or iceberg lettuce and found neither. They are having some supply chain issues.

Always an easy in and out when I go shopping.. The cashiers are so friendly

Dave the butcher, was EXTREMELY helpful and gave Amber and I great deals on pork, loin and ribs. We snatched them up quick! Even tho we were there for steak.😁😁😁 We got great deals on that too. couldnt find certain things I was looking for but not a big deal. With all that is going on right now with the covid-19 situation its to be expected.

Been using the home delivery and very pleased with the shoppers. From meats to produce, couldnt have made better choices myself. However their website does need some serious attention.

Went to this Meijer looking for a specific alcoholic beverage that I looked up on the website to make sure they had it in stock. The website said there were 8 of them in stock at this location. So I went in hoping to find it but didn’t have any luck. I asked two different employees if they could help me find it and they could not locate it either. They told me to look in several different aisles so I walked around the store for about 20 minutes and still couldn’t find it. I then decided to settle for something else. Then, when I went to check out, I was told I can’t purchase alcohol with a vertical ID (I am 21), even during the pandemic when DMVS are closed. I will not be coming back to this store, very disappointing and a huge waste of my time.

This store is clean and organized. There is a great selection too. Plenty of parking along with easy in and out access.

First of all when they have buy one get one free it is the same price as it was the day before the sale. Unlike other stores where they raise the price so that youre only really saving about 25%....the personnel at Meijer are really kind and considerate. Many of them have been there since the store opened and they are willing to help all the time. I wish they had a few more employees. The store is always faced, and if you can find an employee they will show you where to find something you are looking for. Those that bring the carts back to the store work tirelessly...Never a frown... Always a smile....Clothing hang on rods on wheels. Often customers move them so you have move them so you can get by. That can be quite disconcerting when trying to navigate with a cart. Especially when someone is older and then there are children who move the things just for the fun of it and there arent employees to put them back in place.. there just seems there arent enough employees..they advertise having hundreds of organic fruits/veggies. ABSOLUTELY NOT true. There might be one or two organic fruits but I have yet to find. Theres a gigantic sign up above the produce department that says that they carry hundreds of organic items that it just is absolutely not true one bit. I asked an interim manager who happened to be walking by when speaking to another of his peers and they have blew me off.. just simply stating there are over 100. If youre ordering for customer pickup make sure that you check that to be called if an item isnt available. When items are not found I have gone into the store and found them on the shelves and I did discuss that with someone there. I also got a couple items that were past code substantially. Bagels expired 3 months prior. Theres a gal in the front I imagine shes supposed to be a greater I think her name is Carolyn she has dark hair and glasses. She is not just greeting she is cleaning up everything and anything. The other greeters just stand there they actually dont even greet you they just stand there. I wish they would have tasting people because some of them are products are super. If people would only give Meyer flavored potato chips a try once they would always buy them they are awesome. Ive got a son I swear as a connoisseur of potato chips and we love each and everyone especially the steak flavored ones. They have a coffee Meyer brand that is Michigan cherry everyone needs to try that because its awesome. So many of the Meijer brand items are excellent.. the people in customer service always smile and they are very busy. .

We LOVE Meijer!!

Meijer has always been a place I go too when I need something that Jewel or a department store doesnt have. They have certain compression socks for women who have size 11 or 12 shoes. My mom loves them to death. I usually prefer Meijer over Jewel in grocery shopping, but I still do shop at Jewel, but the majority at Meijer. Plus the gas is much better at Meijer than going to the Jewel gas station.

To the rude employee at the self check out, this is the second time an employee at this Meijers has been rude to me when I have asked for help. Today around 12:35 I was checking out a few items from the self check out, when the system stated please wait for assistance. Which I did, and saw a Meijers employee walking right there I politely said excuse me I need some help it says I need an associate to the employee 1. Talked to me like I was a child 2. Asked me if I needed technical assistance with the machine and required a technician, which I replied yes but she asked this TWO MORE TIMEs so you are requiring assistance of a technician to assist you with the machine to a point I thought she was joking or confused with me given her tone. Then she said this will require the help from another employee behind me who I didnt see and was helping another customer and she waved her over and left and just walked aimlessly in the front of the store. I am all for having a bad day, but I do not appreciate being talked to like I was inconveniencing an employee of a store, talked down too, and none the less she didnt help but literally walked away and just walked around up front after she waved a different employee over. This is the second time I have encountered such rude employees at this Meijers which is sad because I normally like this store but will do our best to take our business elsewhere. **I did not catch the employees name but I wish I did because I would love to relay this feedback to her supervisor. I have never seen her before and do most of my shopping during the week but she was not working at a cash register so may be a manager or supervisor of some sort.

The Cashier Cindy that works at this location is by far the rudest person i have had to deal with in a long time. Im pretty sure it has to do with my brown skin. She would not talk to me at all even though I said hello when I first made eye contact. She would not come around to scan my items and saw me struggling to lift a few things then noticed the woman behind me (Caucasian) in line and says to her dont worry about lifting those items maam I will come around to scan them. This is horrible service and I will be taking this to a corporate level. You have lost my business forever.

Sales items - at least the ones Im interested in - are usually out of stock early Saturday morning. Dont they stock shelves overnight? AND, ALWAYS check your receipt. Undoubtedly there is at least one item that scans more than the price shown on the tag. I kid you not - 3 of the last 4 times I had to go to the service desk to get a refund. Between these two factors, makes me want to spend a bit more and go to Jewel. Usually dont have problems there, and their shelves are stocked fully when Ive gone.
