I was in desperate need of a good quality multivitamin since I forgot to bring any when I came to Alexandria to visit family. The staff at the Grain Bin was very helpful, and the prices were comparable to my own hometown health stores.

At first this place intimidated me, but it is a great place to buy in bulk and my favorite is the bulk spices and tea section. You can find those hard to get spices and flours(garbanzo brown rice) and random things like miso. They dont pressure you to buy anything. That is what i thought would happen and they let you just do you. I get white sage here as well.

Most items are either overpriced or just high, most notably on items you can buy at the Walmart or Target next to it. They do not accept all forms of credit cards. The people are friendly and helpful. I like the fairly large selection of essential oils, even if they cost too much. Some of their selection you can only find specifically there and no where else in the area.

Profiled as a shoplifter and chased out. I recommend wearing business casual, keeping your phone in your pocket (no calls to the wife), and ABSOLUTELY NO PICTURES!
