Took my senior father to get his older glasses replaced. Walked in with out an appointment and expected a wait but they were with us relatively quickly and were happy to help! Taeveona went above and beyond to help get him the exact pair he wanted - even calling around to other stores to check. She was patient with Pop and helped explain the process while making sure he was all set. Very positive experience!

The customer service at the Alexandria location is excellent! My aunt bought glasses from them and wasnt happy with having 2 pairs of glasses. One for reading and one for distance. The general manager, Kaneesha, was so gracious with fixing the problem. Great pleasant customer service. Great attitude. She made our trip there enjoyable. Our family has been a client for a number of years. We tried once to go to a more boutique type of eyeglass place, and quickly came back to Visionworks! I was provided with a excellent , friendly, welcoming experience from everyone in the store. I was Greeted by everyone with warm smiles and a great Attitude. The Dr was fun and funny. The selection of glasses was phenomenal. Pricing and insurance was explained to me which made my choices a lot easier. My visit was on 4/12/21 during the pandemic Social Distancing was enforced, plenty of sanitizer was available and the associates wiped and cleaned everything.I recommend this Visionworks to anyone looking for professionals to assist with eye care.I’m very Thankful to everyone!! The staff here are professional, helpful, and friendly. My wife and I came in for some adjustments to glasses we had bought at a different Visionworks location. They patiently and carefully assessed the problems and options, and performed some helpful tweaks that made a huge difference for both of us. Well be returning to this location next time we need new glasses.

Been going to this location for a few years and I work in healthcare. When I went a few weeks ago for an exam, the place was busy and the employees appeared disorganized. I was very disappointed when the technician interviewed several of us together rather than one at a time. He asked medical screening questions and other information that is HIPPA protected. NOT OK! Your firm needs to provide re-education to employees and teach them how to multi-task.

If I was able to provide zero stars then that would be more reflective of my experience. I purchased glasses from Visionworks in January 2021, and three weeks later I still had not received the glasses. I requested a refund and it was received on February 15, 2021. To date Visionworks has not refunded my insurance benefits to my insurance company. I recently had to escalate this situation to the NICB. Insurance is billed when a service is provided and a product is received. Visionworks kept insurance funds for a product that was never received. The onsite manager is unprofessional and incompetent. I would not utilize this business if they were giving glasses away. Beware of this location and take your business elsewhere.

Do NOT GO HERE!! They hit my insurance 2xs..and i paid out of pocket for contact exam. I left 3xs with no scripts for glasses or contacts. Now im going to have to file paperwork to get them off our insurance provider lists. They are rude, shady, and thieves. Oh... and P.S, they dont pick ip the phone

ZERO STARS!! I did everything I could to stay away from this store. I already had a bad experience at the Springfield one. I knew this place is no better unfortunately theyre the only one that accepts the insurance i used. The one in Springfield didnt tell me an appointment is required for everything, so I went to this store to browse and get glasses because my insurance covers a pair in full but that didnt happen so I scheduled it over the phone. The staff didnt ask for my insurance info and to send my prescription so they can be ready for me. Oh and they put the wrong name so I cant imagine checking in like that. I arrived 5 minutes early and waited 20+ MINUTES after giving them the insurance card. They didnt tell me anything other then Im going to copy this. I was waiting while other people who came after me were being helped and got pointed at by the staff. The staff didnt bother giving me a tray for glasses to start browsing; that can be time consuming. I waited another 20+ minutes to finish my transaction, and yes other people were helped before me. The staff that helped with my transaction was very awkward and not helpful at all. She didnt tell me anything about my insurance so I was expected to pay so much. They didnt clean the pd measurement and I saw it was used on someone else!!! Unsanitary, lack on communication, lack on knowledge, and lack of customer service. One of the staff was extremely rude because I told her I was waiting way too long for checking in. No apology from anyone. Because of that, the rude lady didnt want to help me so I had to wait EVEN LONGER for another lady to help me. And wait 2 weeks for simple glasses?! Ridiculous. This place is a mess. The previous staff was great; the current staff needs proper training and etiquette.

Horrible customer service! I went to pick up two pair of glasses. We were not greated when we walked in We were made to sit by the front door. There was only one other person in there. The girl asked our name went and got our glsses handed them to us and walked off. I have never bought glasses where they dont sit you down and adjust them for you and make sure they fit. I knew I was making a mistake by coming here. NEVER again.

Dr was excellent; it was obvious she reviewed my chart before seeing me and could engage in meaningful conversation about my eye health. She was quick, yet thorough during my exam and focused on me and my care. This consistency of care has made me a satisfied customer.

Great team at this location. They are fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Kaneesha reviewed my insurance coverage with me and made the decision making process much easier. Also, Dr. Nguyen explains your overall eye health beyond eyesight. Now I just have to wait for my new specs. Looking forward to visiting this location again.

I had a great experiance at visionworks, but before and after my email and text have blown up. A constant need to confirm my appointment, and insidious need for a good review, more business, reminders, constant reminders, invite a friend requests. While the exam and selection of eye glasses was great, the constant invasion is just too much.

When we arrived for the appointment the check in process was a mess. But once we got in everything improved. Everyone that works there is very nice and they keep everything very clean.

The doctor was great but the guy who assist me to pick a frame and measure it, he accidentally poked my eye with the pen cause he didnt realize that the lens fell from his hand before he gave me and wear the eyeglass I thought that is a part of the eye exam he needs to focus more on his job.. got hurt but glad my eyes is fine. 😐not sure if I will come back there.

Staff for the most part are still polite and friendly in store. However, whenever I try calling the number provided it feels like they pick up 30% of the time and I am usually directed straight to the customer service line. I understand due covid phone calls may be busy but it gets tedious having to call every hour or wait days for a response.

I have been seeing Dr.Nguyen since I was 9 years old, its been 12 years now, best optometrist there is. The entire staff was kind and very understanding!

I have used Visionworks for over 10 years. I have always felt comfortable with Dr. Nguyen. I appreciate that she listens and answers all my questions, all my optical question. The support staff is professional and helpful.

I used to get debilitating anxiety when it comes finding an eye provider but not anymore. I wish I could name everyone, because I made contact with just about everyone in the front, but my experience was led by Ms. Taeveona who went the extra mile to navigate through my insurance nightmare (they are the only place that takes my insurance); my exam was administered by Dr. Nguyen, O.D. and it was the best, most informative consultation I have ever had. She explained everything in a quick digestible manner, and I left actually understanding my eye health. I finally understood why studying hurts. My visit concluded with Ms. Kaneesha, along with Ms. Taeveona, who helped me with the hardest task, picking the right frame. I didn’t spend more than five minutes deciding my lense type and frame. It was the hands down the best experience I have had getting an eye exam. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend

Great experience. Had great social distance guidelines. Taking temperature, having people sit separately, and mask were enforced. The entire team is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Nini was patient with us as we were having issues finding our insurance information. We had to come back and she was able to squeeze us back in once it was fixed. The Dr. Was great. She was patient and answered questions I had. The rep who helped us finalize everything kenesha i believe was her name. Was wonderful! She helped us figure out which glasses to get, and gave great information. Based on size and the right fit. I really like that she broke down all the pricing and was patient while we decided.Thank you to the entire team !!! Really great experience.

Dr. Nguyen is wonderful. She is pleasant and personable. She remember me as a person and makes me feel at home. You have to visit for yourself! They have the latest models in frames. You simply cant go wrong!

This Visionworks located on 7702- H Richmond Highway was organized and most importantly I felt safe..The staff wiped everything down including chairs..Kaneesha and Dr. Kaye Dillah both have outstanding customer service. Kaneesha took my temperature at the door who I learned that manages the store..She greets you in a very friendly manner that makes you feel comfortable while getting you prepared for your appointment..A real people person!!! Meanwhile Dr.Dillah have you feel relaxed while doing your eye examination..I give this store which Ive been going to for the past 5 years an A+ in customer satisfaction..😁

Zero stars would be more accurate for the service I received today. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical provider. Really. The receptionist was awful. When I scheduled the appointment, I told her she needed to call a specific phone number to verify my coverage. I emailed all of the appropriate Information to her prior to my appointment. She refused to call the correct number and made me wait for 45 minutes while she continued to call the wrong phone number. They of course could not verify my coverage. Then, when I insisted that she try the right number, she rolled her eyes and went to ask her manager who told her to do it. She then told me she could call but that I would still have to reschedule because my appointment had been delayed more than 10 minutes-which of course was COMPLETELY her fault. I took a day off work, rescheduled appointments and traveled an hour to get there. VisionWorks is horrible and I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. This was a huge waste of my time. Also, they are now refusing to put new lenses in old frames “due to Covid”. Anyone that believes that is naive. It’s only about forcing you to buy more expensive frames. They would easily sanitize old frames. I’m telling you, go somewhere else!!!

If i can put zero star i would. Really bad customer service they never answer the phone and you cant walk in. They had my glasses for 3 weeks and they are paid for and still cant pick them up because they are not answering how do i know if they are ready for pick up and how can i have an appointment if you never answer the phone. Really bad customer service. They put you on hold forever then they hang up on you without answering your question.

We came in on New Years Eve day when I realized how much was left in my FSA...it was a zoo as others were in the same “use it or loose it” situation. The staff was great and the eye doctor took her time with both myself and my hubby. The wonderful lady who “fitted” us both helped me utilize my funds to the max. We won’t get our glasses for about 2 weeks, so I cannot comment on the product, but the staff was first rate.

The staff always seems overwhelmed when 3+ patients/customers come in. even if its an appointment only, theyre running around with their heads cut off. theyre either always low on staff or arent trained enough to handle the business. do not go here unless you want to wait so long to be acknowledged by the rude staff. 0/10

They weren’t very helpful. I looked for glasses for over 35 minutes no one offered to help and wasn’t with other customers, I was total ignored.I also watch a staff who was cleaning and was cross-contaminating objects ( cleaned the chair, table and eye glass case with the same cloth). They also wipes a large stack of glasses with the same cloth, not very sanitary. I will purchase my own glasses and have them sent out.The coronavirus is serious and we need to retrain this staff that worked on 6-20-20

I recently went in for my annual eye check up and once again was provided with excellent service. Dr. Joanne Nguyen has been my doctor and is always very thoughtful and professional. She provides a thorough exam and is attentive to any concerns. Filmon helped me select a pair of frames that I am happy with. Alison, the store manager, was also very pleasant to interact with. Great staff!

They had a sale on glasses. When I looked at the sale frames all of the frames were cheap looking and their nicer frames were more expensive than Lenscrafter.

Big fan of my local Visionworks. Why? The staff is kind, helpful, and weve gotten to know them over the years since myself and my family get our eyes checked, if not new glasses, every year. Shout out to Filmon whos always been the closer, and the optometrists who are very easy to talk to. They are very child-friendly and theyve been great interacting with them as well as walking them through the eye-test and frame selection.The whole process is 3-steps but easy and speedy. On a busy Saturday we walked in without appointment. There were 2 people ahead of us, and that gave us 10-minutes to browse the selection. Actually, most of our time is spent trying their huge selection of frames. Its hard to pick, but I always walk away with a pair I love and makes me feel like Im entering the new year right.The only flaw in the whole process is you have no idea what the glasses will cost until you go to buy. Frames, yes, but lenses no (theres no visible menu for lens prices). So I recommend that if its your first time, ask upfront for ideas on how much the lenses will cost you. But thats just business model antics and I wont fault this local Visionworks for that. The staff deserve 5-stars.

The doctors and staff are both knowledgeable and thorough. The friendly atmosphere puts you in a very peaceful state. They don’t rush you in and out and I traveled 2hours from my current residence to make the appointment because I trust them so much.

I had been purchasing my glasses for the past several years from Hour Eyes at this location. So when I wanted a new set of glasses I went back to the same location. i wanted an unusual grind of trifocals. The young man waiting on me was very skilled and displayed great knowledge and concern for the customer. I decided that I want to think the purchase over after finding out they could not do the grind I wanted. I had another set of glasses that I wanted to replace the plastic bridge piece chewed on by my dog. The young man said that they did not carry the parts I needed. I asked what was the brand of the glasses so I could go on line to see if I could purchase the piece. When asked, the manager said that the make of the glasses was priveleged information and could not be given out. And she was totally unapologetic in her attitude. I was very shocked. Though the prices were good, with that lack of customer service Ill not set foot in that shop again and I will recommending to my friends and neighbors not to frequent that store either. I would rather do without than give my money to such a company.Mike

Nice staff and easy to set up my appointment. They were able to talk to me about my insurance before coming in, which is always helpful.

I’m not sure what the point of making an appointment is—they always keep me waiting. Once I get in the doctors are good, and the staff are helpful.

Couldnt Schedule an appointment it just endlessly looped me in the menu with holds in between each loop with a system clearly too stupid to be handling calls.
