I received top notch care here during the 2020 holidays in the pandemic. Its small, but professional. Proper social distancing, very well sanitized between patients and the appointment was incredibly hassle free. Plus, no eye puff machine! I hate that thing! No anxiety with the appointment (as the only thing I get anxiety with eye appointments is that darn eye puffer!). The doctor was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable with my exam and my other concerns with eye health. They even provided me with a few special medical eye wipes for free until I could order some for myself through Amazon. After the exam and I received a new prescription, a staff member was super helpful with the wide array of glasses selection! She was very helpful and knew a lot about the glasses and what sort would work best for me and my lifestyle. They also sanitize every pair of glasses after trying them on prior to placing them back on display. Due to the holidays, I was told to expect 3-4 weeks before my new glasses came in, but they arrived less than 2 weeks (which is the normal wait time). So happy with my new glasses! Thank you! Highly recommend!

The WROST place ever, don’t try to get your eye exam from them, they don’t care about customers specifically the MANAGER that roll her eyes to me, I waited for my glasses for over three weeks. I called few times and they keep telling me that my glasses will be ready the next day. I asked to speak to the manager and she never call me. I called the office ones again today and the manager answered the phone and she was very very rude and unprofessional. I went to pick my glasses up and she gave a bad actitud and rolls her eyes at me. This place is very unprofessional and expressive don’t go there.El peor lugar, no visite este establecimiento la Manager fue muy ruda conmigo me miro muy mal, pésimo servicio y muy caro. Me dejaron esperando más de tres semanas por mis lentes y al final no me los entregaron, nunca me llamaron para avisarme de la demora. EL PEOR LUGAR.

Optometrist very nice, competent. I got contact lenses for the first time in my life. The following weekend I couldn’t remove one of the lenses. When I called on Monday for advice or an appointment I was advised that no doctor was at another office and they suggested I find another practice for urgent assistance. Refused to give me a recommendation for whom that might be. They refused to even take a message for the optometrist to call me. I won’t be returning as this is far below the community standard of care.

Went in to renew my contact lens Rx. Ive been wearing contact lenses for nearly a decade without problems, my prescription is extremely weak as my vision is pretty good, just have a typical case of astigmatism. All that to say, its a very simple Rx which hasnt changed in any meaningful way in a decade. I get an eye exam, I order the contacts, I wear them. I repeat. I have NEVER ever had a fit issue with my contacts.At my appointment, the OD was kind and professional and the exam was fine. I was given several pairs of daily disposable lenses to use as a trial, but I had extreme discomfort in one eye every single time I used the trials. I spent hours at home trying to figure out what was going on.I returned back for an appointment to examine what was wrong, demonstrated the fit issue and discomfort area to the OD and had her ensure there was nothing underlying affecting that eye (e.g. scratch, etc.). Everything looked good to her, but that didnt fix the obvious fit problem. I was given additional trials, but the issue persisted, which I communicated back to the office.Imagine my surprise when I was given a sizable bill for the follow up appointment. How is the contact fit & fitting I paid for in the original appointment NOT inclusive of actually COMPLETING the fitting and ensuring I get a proper Rx and product to wear. Completely unacceptable.All in all, I wasted several weeks on this, two office visits, and still had no wearable contacts. So, I ended up on my wedding and honeymoon without being able to clearly see...after a decade of wearing contacts problem-free, having Rxs written here and while living abroad without a single issue... this office couldnt get it right with more than a month of lead time to an important deadline. I clearly communicated this deadline - which was well over a month away - when I first visited and the OD had just laughed because I would be walking out with great contacts today and not to worry about that deadline down the road.Not a fan.

Doctor Craig was very professional ,answered patiently. Five stars for the doctor but am reducing stars because of the inconvenience caused due to billing by front desk.They charged me more than my copay and I did ask about that since it was way higher than what I used to pay.I asked if they used my member id for insurance and they said no we used the name and dob and for some reason ,it pulled the incorrect plan.I also came back without getting glasses since again the prices they said for frames etc were way higher .I had to call insurance and front desk back and forth to figure out why billing was higher and finally my insurer explained the plan to them and they agreed to refund the difference.Might have been a genuine mistake on their end but caused inconvenience to customer who provided the insurance details clearly.Other than that,the place was very hygienic and front desk ladies were helpful.I totally recommend.Update : Changed to 1 star since I havent received a response for the email I sent or the refund.

This is possibly the WORST eyeglass place I have ever visited. The service when you get there is fine and the doctor is very nice and friendly. However, customer service is terrible. I ordered very nice prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. I am going to list all the ways this place messed up my order completely. 1) I asked to be notified when both of my glasses arrived so I can pick up the glasses I desperately needed as soon as they arrived that did not happen and I did not find out my sunglasses had arrived until I called for an update 2) I notified these people that I was moving three hours away in approximately 4 weeks and verified that the glasses would arrive in two weeks. But three weeks later my regular glasses still had not arrived. 3) I called multiple times and got multiple associates that all lied to me and had absolutely no clue where my glasses were. Finally the DAY BEFORE I MOVED one associate called the lab and said the glasses had been defective and sent back. The manager said they would mail me the glasses and here it is APRIL and still no glasses have been received by mail and this order was placed in early February 2020. The staff is absolutely unorganized .....I wouldnt be surprised if they sent my glasses to my old address instead of the new address that I gave them via email.

The best! I cannot say enough about the quality of service New Era offers. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and they treat you more like a friend or family member than a customer. Best eye care place Ive ever used with top marks all around, but its really the staff and service that put them way over the top.

Dr. Sleva was wonderful however the customer service has been incredibly frustrating. It took me many weeks to get my contacts ordered because they do not answer their phone or return messages left. I did not like the sample contacts the doctor had sent me home with so I wanted to return to my old prescription but I was given grief for this and had to call back multiple times until someone would approve this. Then I paid for my contacts and its been 5 weeks and I still have not received them. I have tried calling and emailing to get an estimated arrival and no one answers. I am rather shocked by this all and disappointed given I enjoyed Dr. Sleva.

Went in 11 months ago for my exam everything was fine. But when i asked if i can get my prescription faxed she said no, called back to ask for a manager she said she was the manager and told me she was able to fax my prescription so she lied to me the first time she said i would have it by the end of the day which makes no sense bc faxes are INSTANT! Horrible customer care. And i can bet a million bucks she was not the manager.

Their hours are few, and when I make it there I see that they are closed “for lunch,” with two employees sitting just inside the door. They’re not worth the hassle.
