John at Visionworks is such an amazing professional! He takes the time to listen and really helped me find a frame that worked for me. Plus he gave me great advice as I tried my first glasses with Progressive lenses. I highly recommend this store!

No way to reach anyone at the store. No email address on the site. No response when I messaged then through social media.There is no button on the website to schedule an appointment.

I told the sales person exactly what I wanted transitions And progressives.  He tried to sell me blue screen and I told him I am not on the computer and I was not interested, I also told him I only wanted one pair of glasses and not two for the bogof offer (one pair was only 359.00 nearly half the price of the two pairs for 679.00, so is it really a deal?).  Upon pickup of my glasses there was no transition feature added only blue screen and progressive, I explained to the sales person this was not what I ordered and I had ordered transitions I was told I could get transitions for an extra $120.00, (on top of the 359.00 I already paid) I told him I just wanted my money back and to please refund my credit card.  Approximately 5 days later there was still no refund on my credit card No phone call from any manager to enquire about the problem.  I called to see where my refund was  And the manager told me I just put it through this morning and I knew I  should have called you about the problem (but he didnt) I explained  my issue and he said no problem we could recharge your credit card again and order you the correct pair  adjusting the price to be about the same. However it should have been about the same without the blue screen feature which I never wanted. So almost a month later I received my glasses  not knowing how much they really cost a pressuring sales person who didnt listen to what I wanted, and a manager who drags his feet on a refund for 5 days and who doesnt even care enough about a customer to call them about the problem or the refund. I purchased a set of progressive bifocals. They were very poor quality always smudged ND hard to clean. . Manager was grouchy

I made an appointment online a few months ago and then received a voicemail in which the person stated that I could not make an appointment online. The tone was very rude and she made it sound like it was my fault, not theirs. Not even an apology for the inconvenience. We were returning customers. Both my daughter and I usually see the eye doctor and buy glasses and contacts. I called back a few months later to make an appointment and the lady making the appointment was obviously the same rude person that left me the voicemail. Great eye doctor, rude staff. They have lost my business for good. They refused to give my daughter an exam for contacts even though we have been good and faithful repeat customers. They used Covid as the excuse. She is a kid. This is getting beyond ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to spend your hard-earned money as they obviously dont value their customers.

Visionworks; where optometrists go to die. 10 minutes late for my sons appointment with no one in the waiting room, the doctor was too insulted by my tardiness to give my son his exam. Normal places have at least a 15 minute window...

I can’t remember the name of the lady that helped me, she was very patient with me while I was looking at the frames and also when I went to pick up my glasses she adjusted them for me several times. Very pleased with the experience and happy my glasses were ready in 1week!

Incompetent business. I made an appointment online via their website three weeks ago. Two days ago I received a text message to confirm my appointment. I confirmed. Yesterday I received an email about my appointment, I confirmed. Today I received a call about my appointment and found that it did not exist due to a malfunctioning website. The next available appointment is not for 3 months. I asked if the website was fixed and I received a reply that it is not. I asked if false appointments are still being made on a daily basis and I was told this is true. I asked if there was any plan to fix that and was told corporate would not let us. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your vision needs.Edit on 30th July 2020: Visionworks responded with an empty statement and no follow-up with the customer or plan to address the actual issue. Highly recommend that the astute potential customer look elsewhere for their eye care needs.

This review pertains to the San Mateo location only.My wife and daughter went in about 40 minutes before they closed and although they were busy, they at least expected someone to acknowledge their presence and offer help to pick a pair of glasses. We waited for nearly a half an hour until we finally were acknowledged and were rudely passed from one salesperson to the other. Rude comments were made by the woman worker about how she “wishes people would call before they came to see how busy they were”. Shawn then tried to help seeming like we were bothering him rushingly taking little time to look over our insurance benefits incorrectly. We had been to another location fully knowing what benefits were available.Both workers were more interested in closing up then helping me and my daughter. She found frames she liked and we were willing to purchase a full pair of glasses. Absolutely disgusted with the customer service. Please do not go to this location. Stay away from Shawn and his woman co-worker who possibly may be the manager. Would give 0 stars if possible. Horrible!

We had the pleasure of working with Saree and Val while picking out our frames. I am pretty sure we pulled just about every pair off the displays and they cheerfully helped us sort through our favorites.. even at closing. We got our prescription frames and sunglasses and couldnt be more satisfied with the service those ladies provided us. We will be sure to use this location in the future! Thanks again girls for your professionalism, humor, and all around red carpet service. We so appreciate you.

Only visionworks I’ll go to. Buy one get one free deal is such a great deal. I got two pairs late last year and they were super easy to deal with and they even sent my sunglasses back because I picked the wrong tint (which they warned me about) without hesitation. Two days ago we went to get glasses for my husband, same awesome service. We will only be using them, always a great experience.

Wonderful service, both from the Optometrist’s office and the sales floor. The doctor was very thorough with the eye exam, making extra sure that he’d gotten the right results for my new prescription. The sales staff was super helpful; they were willing to check to see if any frames came in additional colors, and being honest on what I did or didn’t need in addition to the basic lenses (instead of just simply trying to get me to spend more and more money on the glasses). I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

They couldnt get me in right away. Only Stanton Optics could. I set an appointment and was glad that I keep it.The optometrist was excellent. He was thorough. I paid extra for the peripheral vision test and to have my eyes dilated. Once the appointment was complete I was able to choose my glasses.The selection was great. Pricing ranged from 60 dollars and up. I had a tight budget and the customer representative was understanding. We were able to find me a nice pair in my price range. 60 frames, 80 per lens, extra coating depends on your choices.Only one disappointment, they wouldnt be ready for 2 days.

Recently went in for an appointment. I got an appointment fairly easy on a last minute request. Employees were readily available to talk to and the Dr. Was ready for me for the appointment almost before my paperwork was done. The appointment was fast and to the point, Dr. Was very understanding. When it was time to pick out glasses all employees were very patient and check out was a breeze.

Excellent customer service. Went in for a glasses adjustment, and they did a great job and were very nice. I highly recommend them!

After a bad experience at their other location - Mall. I was hesitant to shop here. Santiago was great, honest, and helpful in find what I wanted and needed. Definitely recommend this Visionworks location. I didn’t tell him about my previous bad experience at the other location, until after everything was ordered and paid. Everything Santiago said matched perfectly with what my insurance said.

I recently purchased my first pair of progressive eyeglasses here. The staff was very helpful and friendly in helping me find the right frames. They were very knowledgeable and prepared me for what to expect with my first pair of progressives. I visited this location for a pair of prescription glasses a few months ago. The store carried a broad selection of brands and styles, and was complimented by a kind, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. With Coltons assistance, I was able to find a great pair of glasses that were maximally covered by my insurance. I will definitely be returning for my next pair of prescription glasses/sun glasses.

I visited this location recently for a new pair of glasses and I am so glad I chose this store! All the staff were so kind but Colton and Santiago were especially helpful and patient with me as I tried on most of the frames in the store! They ended up finding me a pair of glasses I absolutely love. I have since referred many coworkers and friends to go get their glasses here!

Amazing experience! My contact lens tore on me while traveling with my kids and the only thing I forgot to pack were my glasses. By the time I could take my contacts out my eye was swollen and irritated. So I came first thing in the morning to vision works. Everyone was so understanding and accommodating! Even though they were completely booked the ladies at the front desk made time to squeeze me in and get me taken care of. And Im so glad they did because I had a divot on my eye. Dr. Sandoval patched me right up, prescribed me new glasses and I was on my way with glasses in hand an hour later. I cant tell you how appreciative I was of the amazing staff here at vision works. Thanks again guys! And Ill recommend you to anyone passing thru Albuquerque.

My frames were out of whack and I went in on two separate occasions and both Tina and Valerie saved the day. They were so helpful! Highly recommend them!

My experience here went well. I got to pick my glasses up the next day and was seen in a timely manner. Santiago checked on me to make sure I was doing ok while choosing frames. The ladies up front were nice . Lots of great selection to choose from.

Ive been seeing this eye doctor for years and he is very good but the reception ladies are always rude. I will no longer be seeing this eye doctor. I was in desperate need of contacts and they gave zero concern to my needs. When I told them I would be going somewhere else they could couldnt care less. I guess this eye doctor makes enough money that he doesnt need my bussines. I do not use insurance either, I pay out of my pocket.

I would give this place zeros stars if it were possible. I went there after seeing one their buy one get one free deals. Their customer service reps were apathetic and rude. Nonetheless, I chose to get two frames from them. The lenses popped out of one pair when I tried to clean them. I had to return four or five times for them to get the glasses right, as they continued to use the wrong rx lenses. Absolutely awful place. Save yourself time and stress and skip this place.

Took 6 weeks to get appointment. Then call and reschedule or another 5 weeks out.
