Female associate at counter was very rude, ghetto, and ignorant, tried to refuse to get a manager for me and tried to act like I was dumb when I am in fact VERY intelligent and also make sure i know what Im talking about before I open my mouth ESPECIALLY about policies.... FYI she did this and acted this way all over a simple IN WARRANTY battery exchange!... HOWEVER once I was able to get a manager to come to the back & assist me everything was perfectly fine, the MANAGER was very friendly, helpful, and polite. MANAGER processed everything & completed my battery exchange within 5min (dealing with the ignorance of the associate at the counter took me over 40min before I was able to receive management assistance)

John and Jequay worked together in an impressive manner to get two new tires on the back of my car when I had about 3 inches of metal showing on my tires. I had no idea!! I frantically pulled into their bay at 6:45 as they were cleaning up getting ready to go (they close at 7) . They had no problem assisting me in getting two new and safe tires to continue home in, and they even stayed after designated close time to finish the job! I really appreciate that! Thank you!!!

Please think twice about having them do anything to your vehicle. They put a new tire on my SUV and now it makes a knocking noise, even just coasting. And of course they DIDN’T do it. I am afraid to drive the vehicle now, afraid the wheel will come off. Please read fine print!!! Walmart not responsible for loss/damage to vehicle. I paid $160 for someone to tear up my car. NEVER again.

Great wouldnt go no where else

Go anywhere else but here. They act like they dont wont to work. They check out themselves before ringing you up and I wanted just a tire rotation & balance, the guy came outside for 2 seconds didnt even get at eye level at my tires and said they were too bad to change, but yet I dont even have 20,000 miles on these tires. The guy told me I would need tires in a little. Went somewhere else and they changed them no problem and they told me they were probably just trying to sell me new tires because mine were perfectly fine. Dont even waste your time.

Extremely slow service. Two to three people in line and it takes almost an hour to be seen. They either dont have something to do the work they advertise to do, or the service itself takes hours to do...simple things. They told me I needed another part for my lightbulb, I took it to AutoZone where the young lady popped it in and asked what was wrong with these guys? More cashiers are needed. It should not be an all day task to get simple car maintenance done. And, when they advertise Open at 8:00, they need to abide by that!

They failed to put back the oil cap back on the engine block. Left me with an oil spill all over my engine. Only found out after front of car was smoking from oil spill.Now unable to drive the car until I can get a replacement oil cap.

My mama and I felt like we had a flat tire on the left side. The light finally came on, and we headed to here as this is my place I get my oil changes, etc.. We were helped immediately by Tony who explained we had a nail in our tire and he could fix it after this other car. We went in, the guy there took my mamas information down and said it would be about an hour and a half (not as nice as Tony, but ok). So we wandered into Walmart abit. After facing all the crowds, we decided to go back to the Auto center and wait. Once we entered the building we saw Tony and he told us our SUV was ready, we were glad! So Tony rang us up. Tony was professional, knew how to deal with the public, caring about others needs, and a great sense of humor! It was a pleasure to have him work on mamas car today. I will personally request him from now on, as he takes pride in his job and it shows. Thank You Tony! Merry Christmas 🎄!

The associates in the automotive department were very nice and we didnt have to wait long to get our tires put on. Corey thank you for your fast and courteous work. We went to the Peters creek store first and they were like a 3 to 4 hour wait. We had a very short wait at the one on Kester Mill Road.

Ordered tires online and had them mounted /balanced here. I was skeptical about letting Walmart work on my car. But for the price it was worth a shot. They did a professional job. Took about an 1hr and a half but made sure lugs where tight and no ride issues, even reset the TPS light. Discount Tire level work at half the cost. Also vary friendly staff.

Came in and asked for a $20 oil change. Was informed they didnt have the right oil but I could buy it myself. I agreed and when it was all said and done I got hit with a $43 dollar bill because changing out the oil only discounted it $10 dollars. I feel ripped off right now.🤬

Bought my first set of tires there, so far they have been great, hope they stay that way, takes awhile to get things done, they r supper busy, need appointments for quicker in and outs

The best Walmart in Winston-Salem

The only positive thing about my visit was the price. I got my oil change while I waited with my four children and no one told me when my car was finished. When I finally started to put my childrens coats on to leave I was asked to give the keys to one of the workers so that they can move my car. Turns out I move my car into the parking lot so I had to inconveniently walk across the parking lot to get my car just because they did not tell me that my car was finished in time. I feel like there could have been better communication between me and the staff.

The service personel and lead man are spectacular. However, the counter help is lazy and frequently disappears. Ive left items laying on the counter, because the counter help was gone for 20 minutes.

I would not let them touch my car. I purchased 2 new tires for one of my vehicles and they failed to put valve stem caps on the new tire valves they installed. Also had already thrown away the old ones so I had to purchase new valve caps as well.

Dont take your car anywhere else. Tires are tires I have had mine from Walmart over a year. 50$ full synthetic oil change!

The service was great, but the counter was empty when I came to pay the bill and buy some shoes. I waited so long that I ended up paying my bill leaving the shoes on the counter.

Left with a cross threaded, rounded off oil plug and a broken oil filter housing. Cost me about $250 to have repaired at dealership. They played it off like that is how it was when they started working on it and “topped off” all my fluids. The dealership did the oil change previously...I seriously doubt the dealership caused the damage but I can’t prove who did it...so I pay for my poor judgement in allowing Walmart to do an oil change. I learned my lesson.

They do a good job for general stuff, nothing to mechanical. Oil change, windshield wipers tires and batteries.
