False advertisement by store. Most likely desperation to drum up new business at whatever cost and/or get store employee/manager earns $ for signing up new customers to the Office Depot app. Store sign indicated to text a code to get their app to get $25 off first purchase from office Depot. Good though I took a picture of it as proof, which which turned out to be a lie and never happened after weeks of waiting and getting ridiculous amounts of email from office Depot, as if we are all not suffering from illegal amounts of junk mail as it is. I eventually called the store and they told me that it is 25% off on your first purchase, which never happened either. FYI I was already a good customer and chose not to use your rewards program in the past. Now my entire business will be through Staples if I need something immediately or Amazon if I can wait. Thank you office Depot for your service, never more.

Went to pickup my order and it wasnt there. Guessing someone took it when they picked up their order. Pickup orders need to be handled better so no one can just come in and walk off with someone else order.

Told me they could have my print done in 30 minutes they would call me after 4 or 5 hours I called them they told me it would take 3 days copy a binder and tab it.Went to Staples they done two booklets in 45 minutes. 🤷👍🏼🎉

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the print team! I am a small business owner and they have gone above and beyond for my printing needs!! Courtney called me when I placed my order to inform me their big printer was down. Then, my initial pictures came out very pixelated and they worked with me via email to get my company’s banner perfect! We had a wonderful customer service experience while getting documents printed. The staff was beyond professional and extremely helpful with all of our needs. They catered to the wants we had and look we were trying to achieve. It was a fairly busy day while we were in store. The staff remained kind and willing despite having multiple orders and processes they were all tending to. We will certainly return for any further needs.

WORST OFFICE STORE IN WILMINGTON!!! Walked into the store without anyone acknowledging me. No hello, welcome, nothing!! Everyone looked miserable.Then walked around the store for a good 20 minutes looking for my intended item with no follow up from employees! There was a female, perhaps a manager with blonde hair walking around like a chicken with her head cut off. She was too busy fussing with someone on her store radio to even notice me. I thought I would wait until maybe she was done as she was the only free employee at the time but was sadly surprised. She either didn’t care or had better things to do than to see what customers needed. There was also another gentleman in the store looking for assistance who became frustrated and left. Don’t waste your time or money in this store. I can go to Walmart to get ignored & still pay half the price!

The store is dingy looking and in serious need of an update. The management is either unwilling to do their jobs or gives you an attitude when they have to do them. Honestly surprised this is the store that’s staying open when the Max by Target is in much better condition. Don’t forget that you can get almost every product sold here a lot cheaper at other retailers.

Never shopping here again after being screamed at across the store in front of all other employees(and another customer who did not have facial covering on) that I was not allowed in the store without a mask. This mandate did not take effect until later that day per the governors orders. I was in the store yesterday and they did not have the product I needed until their order came in. There was no sign posted other than the “recommendation” for a facial covering that was posted the day before. There was a family at the front without facial coverings with no discipline from the employee. I originally planned to spend over $500 on items here for my business but will not ever shop here again after this nasty experience. There is a way to go about enforcing public matters, and embarrassing someone on a public platform because you are “short staffed” is completely unacceptable. Avoid at all cost. Shop staples instead.

I came in about 2:30pm and waiting in line almost 30 mins to be waiting on by the businesses service people. Not their fault, it was very busy. I needed to order business cards and the lady was very helpful helping me get my order put in. They told me it was going to take a little time to do my cards so I asked them if I could come back and just pick them up in a couple of hours. She assured me that was more than ample time.I came back at 5:00pm and my cards were not ready. The girl had forgotten to do them, but they claimed they would have them done in 15 more minutes. I went across the street and had dinner (which I didn’t need because I have food at my condo). I came back at 5:45 and the girl who was supposed to be competing my order took a break before she ever started on my order so nothing had been done.At that point they finally began working on my small project just to find that the printer was malfunctioning. After another 45 minutes, my cards were finally done and I left the store.The employees were very apologetic, but it shows me that if you don’t stay there and stare at them while they finish your order, they will move people in front of you to complete them first.I would have given them a one star, but the employees were very courteous and owned up to the apparent shortcomings. I do own a roofing company and was going to put in about a $10,000 order for yard signs, banners, etc. but I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have used their printer services 6 times in the last 2 months and every visit there is an issue. I was told the last time I couldn’t have 1 sheet of paper printed for at least 45 minutes because it was in color. I drove 20 minutes in the rain to another store and it was well worth the extra mileage. You just lost a valuable customer.

We shopped at Office Depot at the Oleander Drive location yesterday. I can not remember ever receiving such amazing customer service as we received from Debra. She went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs were met. We were there two or three times yesterday and each time we were there, she gave us top notch service and made sure that we left the store with everything we needed. She was very knowledgeable of each issue that we had. Many people came to here while we were dealing with her. She was able to answer their questions with total patience and then continue with us without missing a beat. Five stars are not enough to give this woman!

Excellent customer service in a simple storefront. No eye-searing fluorescent flood lights and always willing to help you get the best deal you can on items in the inventory or online. Just remember to inspect anything you buy for damage before taking it home. If you dont mind a nick or scratch on something you can get a decent discount.

I dont normally review stores but have to say, I really like Office Depot. Their site is very easy to use. Their on line chat is quick and very helpful. I enjoy the rewards and like that they donate 5% to the school of my choice. Also next day shipping is a big plus!

Normally there is a long wait for something simple. They ship for the Postal Service but they dont have fragile stamps or tape for the priority boxes. The workers are friendly they just need a better customer service system. It makes no sense to wait 15-20 minutes for something that takes 5 minutes tops. I ordered raffle tickets and was supposed to get a proof in 24 hours. Three days and 4 phone calls and countless promises later I go in to the store to find out no one uploaded my information to have the tickets designed. Instead of a refund I was offered another chance for them to screw up my tickets. After telling me my design fee was not refundable several times I finally got a refund. This place has the worst customer service. I wont be back.

First off, this review is in regards to a woman named Jen who was very unprofessional when I went inside the store to get some flyers done. She offered no help, though there were three people behind the counter. She said there would be an hour wait despite the amount of staff and lack of business in store at the time. She suggested I “go to another store if I need them done” or “I should have called beforehand”. If you can’t do your job when asked, why work there in the first place? Needless to say I didn’t get what I needed done. And no manager was available upon request. Save your time and go to the Office Depot on New Centre.

The company I work for does business with multiple Office Depots for making business cards. No matter how busy they have been in the past I have never been rushed off of the phone before. I called in moments ago to try and place an order. A woman from the print team rushed me off of the phone. I needed to place an order that I have made many times with different locations. I already had the PDF file open and ready to send & was trying to tell her this but she cut me off and insisted that I call the previous location that I placed the order to tell them to email her. She also failed to give me her name & email address. I work in an industry where time is very valuable. The representative that I spoke with made me feel like her time was more valuable than mine. I will not be giving this location any business.

We bought a laptop today and are having basic programming issues with it. We called FIVE TIMES and finally someone answered the phone without hanging up on us. Getting hung up on FOUR times is entirely uncalled for. I can understand if it was once because the person dropped the phone in haste, but four times is ridiculous! Then when someone did answer, they said it was a software malfunction and to bring it back. It seriously makes me wonder if theyre selling refurbished computers as new. Who has problems straight out the box immediately after set up?! Yes we will return it and then go immediately to Staples. We will NEVER be back. They should pay us gas money for having to drive an hour one way back to their store!

Had a lot of questions on getting the new software of QuickBooks there is a staff I forgot his name but he is tall and he was able to help me pick out the right quick book software without doing a whole lot of comparing and selling things I didnt even need great place to get the right stuff the first time highly recommended folks if you want to get your office well-managed

I asked where an item could be found. I was told maybe over there and was pointed to a certain area. I searched for another 15 minutes and could not find the item. I asked another employee and was again pointed to a completely different area of the store. Again no one offered to help me find it.

I had 2 horrible experiences back to bacl at this location. The first time I was getting flyers made and all they need to do was cut them. They employee put them to the side and started taking new customers and I was left waiting there for an hour. The second time they made all sorts of excuses why they couldnt help me even though there was no one in line. This location should be ashamed of themselves for being represented poorly but theyre staff. Maybe extra training is needed.

I guess they were closed or closing, but the door was unlocked and there was no announcement over the pa system. I was still shopping, aka SPENDING MONEY, when they abruptly told me they were closed and I needed to head to the front of the store. As I was heading to the checkout counter, it was not clear which counter I needed to head to, so I asked, was pointed to the wrong one, then, they made it very clear their drawer was already pulled. (so good thing I wasnt paying by cash). RUDE. So glad there is online shopping. Tired of dealing with humans!! Here I come Amazon!!!

I went in a couple of years ago to buy a new printer and ink. I stood in the aisle, looking over the different printers for around twenty minutes. No employees acknowledged me in any way and none of them offered to assist me. So, I decided on a printer and got out my phone. I found the same printer and ink on Amazon for cheaper and prime. I left, gaining a negative opinion of their customer service, but atleast getting a better deal.About six months ago, I needed to send an important fax. The woman working the copy center helped me after awhile. I was thankful for her help, but she was very impersonal and did not stay with me to make sure I was doing it right. I tried twice to send the fax and it would not go through. I went to Staples instead. I got great customer service and the fax went through with no problem. Quick and easy.I currently need to have some workbooks spiral bound and, thinking about these past experiences, I was reminded that I need to go elsewhere. Office Depot is like the Kmart of office supply stores. The space is not very inviting and poor customer serice (if you receive any at all) seems to be the norm. Beware.

I asked them a basic question about how much it would cost to print some documents and what computer I could use, then the lady looked at me with disguist as if I was bothering her. I literally came into this store to buy a single folder. They had a desk on clearance for $65 and it was the very last one in the entire company.I was thankfully helped out by an employee named Alejandro. He acts like real person and treats me like a regular guy. WHICH I WOULDNT HAVE ANY OTHER WAY. The disk was just centimeters too big to fit through my hatchback door so Alejandro had to take it apart a little bit to get it all in.Alejandro is super! Hes got you.

This review is for Casie in the printing department and it is long overdue. I got married on June 7th, 2014 and it was absolutely perfect!! Part of that perfection was thanks to Casie. About a week before the wedding, it occurs to me that I have yet to have programs made for the wedding. We wanted a certain style and color and a friend suggested Office Depot. My mom went and met Casie and came back and told me there was a woman who was sure she could match what we wanted. I was unsure but the next day we went and met with Casie and from start to finish she was incredibly helpful. We wrote up a design in which she was able to use to communicate with ODs graphic designers, she sent us a proof, and within 48 hours we had programs. Casie - thank you thank you for all of your help.You are great at your job and the next time I have any kind of print job I will be back to work with you!! We got so many compliments on the programs- they were a huge success!!

The computer sales people dont know anything about computers, the cashiers and manager are super strict and rude about deals. Even tried to not let us get one of their sales items because they thought we were secretly with the person in front of us. All the good deals are either gone, impossible to find. Save yourself the frustration and go to staples or office max, this store is the worse. I refuse to go back

I would enter a negative number of stars if possible. The service in this store is awful. Employees could care less about the customers. I have had two consecutive bad experiences with the folks in the copy and print area and they are unapologetic and rude. Im done with second chances. Will gladly pay more to go elsewhere rather than deal with the incompetent people in this store.

Takes a lot for me to write a review of any kind. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in recent times. Should have known the first time I came in and had problems getting cards printed but I gave the better of the doubt. I came back today to re order another batch of cards. Was told they were having problems with their systems but would call me when the cards were ready. I called 5 hours later to check up on them. They were never printed and the young girl, at no fault to her, had no idea bout my order and said she would have them printed by the time I got to the store. She was true to her word and they were done but the text was wrong on one set and the cards were cut horribly. I’ll be printing my own cards or paying vistaprint to do them now.

The customer service was terrible at best. Waited for over a half an hour for the associate to locate an item in the back. A manager had to go and assist him after he spent that much time on his own. They both returned to the front offering no discount or anything. I later returned home only to find it was the wrong item. Definitely just a personal problem- I know. But heres my reveiw.

I just got off the phone with what sounded like a 16 year old manning the copy center because no one else was around. She said that there would be no one coming in the print center that knew anything until the weekend. It is Thursday! I asked for the manager and she finally came to the phone.She was apologetic and said that their copy/print staff was sick. The first employee gave me a false name. What in the world? I think a regional manager needs to get hold of this store. I was going to place a large copy and print order. . .going to Staples.

Ordered a black and white poster online. It was not ready when promised and when I did go pick it up it took 10 min for someone to greet me and when they finally found my print it was on the wrong size paper. It then took another 15 minutes for the woman to figure out how to ring me up (I told her I already paid online). Very disappointed.
