Went to this location on 6/19/2021. Had gotten salt water in my iPhone 11. Madison helped me in making a decision that was best suited for me and my needs. She was super kind, friendly and knowledgeable! I will definitely go back to this location.Madison deserves a big shout out! She had the best customer service.If I could give her 10 stars, I would.

Probably the worst store you could ever step foot in. The customer service is the absolute worst. If you plan on going to this store expect it to be a day trip because they will get nothing done for you. I recommend going to any other Verizon store, even if it is in a completely different state.

Regina was an absolute delight! Not only did she warmly greeted me as soon as I walked in making me feel welcome but she was very sweet, kind, and polite and took time to talk and listen to me and to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. She was very professional and so helpful that not only did she help me find what I was looking for she went above and beyond and even set everything for me as well. She was just amazing and I will definitely be coming back to that store location for now for all my needs! She most certainly has a customer for life

My husband completely shattered his phone lol no surprise in my eyes. 😂 So anytime he screws his phone up I end up with a new one too 🤷🏼‍♀️ So with that being said we love helping people out and showing out support to great people. We reside in Jacksonville and heard nothing but great things about the Verizon-Monkey Junction location and decided to make a day of it and go get his phone replaced. I just end up upgrading mine at the same time because he loves to spoil me. Regine was recommended to us and met all of our expectations and took into consideration we had a baby with us and treated us with utmost respect. Kudos to her and the fabulous team here. Most definitely worth the drive.

John, and both of the other 2 men, that are veterans, really take great care of my whole family, neighbors, and friends. Ive gone to all 3 Verizon stores in wilmington, but if you want smiles, great service, above and beyond their call of duty, go to monkey junction office, well run management, super service!! They really want to help u there, and not looking bored, keep in mind, due to the great service, you might have to wait a while. But its always been worthwhile for us. 2/3rds of going, it was my fault, not the phones, but they really want, and care about you there. Need more businesss like this one, around !! Not just phone stores.

The sales lady was more than awesome! She received absolutely no help from home office when all she needed was for someone up the ladder to give her a yes or no on a simple question. Too bad, verizon lost at least a $2,000.00 sale. I went to AT&T for a great deal and someone not afraid to take care of a client properly.

Stopped by to upgrade my husbands phone and John helped to ensure a smooth process and we werent stuck in the store for hours, like Ive experienced in some cases, even without having an appointment! I highly recommend this location and the staff. We were also invited back for any follow up questions on the new device. The personal attention was great!

Verizon is taking care of customers at this location, instead of worrying about commissions...its a beautiful thing.No round about nonsense, where reps try to talk you away from what you know are your best options, and just need assistance with in store.As a VZW customer for decades, this the only authorized retailer in town I suggest visiting.Helpful, friendly, and intelligent.

I needed to evaluate data transmission speed from my home and know no one with Verizon service. I called the store closest to me and asked if they could help. The manager offered to drive by my home after work and do a speed test from the driveway. She sent me a photo of the result. Wonderful service and a friendly effort as I have never been in the store. I went in there this morning because I was having trouble setting up my new phone and the man that helped me was nothing but pleasant. I wish I would’ve asked his name but he got my problems fixed quickly and I had no frustrations the entire experience. He was friendly, personable, didn’t make me feel stupid, and made my experience 100% painless. I’ve never experienced a better experience in Verizon. My husband and I came in with 2 phones to get activated. We were dreading it because it can be time consuming. We were fortunate to have met Marvin Dukes. He was friendly, professional and knowledgable. He got it activated quicker than we expected. We also had our 4yr old with us and they can be restless at places like this but Marvin even took the time out to play with him. Our son enjoyed his company as much as we did. He also hooked us up with a year free for Disney plus. Hes a valuable asset to your company. What an outstanding gentleman. From now on this is the only place I would go for my cell phone service.

Stopped-by to see phones I liked online for an upgrade early afternoon . While the selection wasnt everything Verizon carries, they do have great, top selling models that offer sufficient variety so that you have choices without being overwhelmed.I spoke with Hunter, who walked me to the brands I prefer (LG; since, since they do not carry HTC in-store, but do featire extensive Samsung options, Motorola and a good number of Apple varieties).Hunter was adept at features and customer favorites, offered feedback on pros/cons from experience and helped me target an option I liked. He also highlighted current Verizon and Manufacturer promotions and deals that got me interested in a better option for both functionality and a great dual-screen case promo from LGInhad to run home for my wallet, so when I got back he was gone for the day. I offered to come back in the morning, but his Manager said he had just left, and he happily retutned to provide my set-up and service comnection on a new LG Cup Thin-Q 5G. While I didnt need contacts, photos and data transferred (I tend to do that myself to clean-up the older software and clear-out the usual trash that accumulates), he was perfectly happy to do it if needed and offered some tips and tricks from experience.Also picked-up a Pure-Gear Steel 360© Tempered Glass Protector (Hunter explained the difference and benefits vs. liquid glass options). While it was a bit pricier than buying direct online, the installation was done expertly in-store and had my new working phone ready to go.Thoughtful service, knowledgeable Associates formcised on getting Cistomers what they need and supplying info on offers, promos, accessories and insurance. Willing to explain features and dofferences between both plans and hardware to ensure the customer gets what they need vs. just selling phones.I overhead two other conversations (one replac8ng a vroken, recently uninsired phone and one for a plan data issue) and was impressed at the Customer-fococed discussion and thoughtful approach. I didnt see that was in reviews elsewhere, so very glad I stayed local and got to to meet the Team at this hidden Monkey Junction gem!Definately go meet the crew at this store! They all seem great!

I was not pleased with the service received after I got my phone here. Nobody was willing to help out with my situation even after calling Verizon Customer Care. I’m very frustrated that I was never told this wasn’t an actual Verizon!! I tried going to a corporate location and they told me I had to come here to resolve an issue. The manager wanted nothing to do with my issue and told me she was not going to do anything. The manager was very rude and was not interested in doing anything!! I will never go to an authorized location MUCH LESS this one! Horrible customer service.. been a Verizon customer for a few years but after this I don’t know if I will be sticking around. NEVER GO HERE unless you don’t mind horrible customer service.

We visited on 12/15/19 to inquire about a broken phone. We entered the store and waited over 15 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. We observed 3 employees helping clients and 1 of the employees was observed mocking a client by rolling his eyes at another employee outside of the customers view point. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. We left there and went to the BELVILLE store and got excellent service!

I am basing this review on the actual store not on Verizon as a company or cell phone provider.Although it is a bit tricky to navigate in to the lot after dark, once you figure it out there seems to always be ample parking and its well lit. Each time Ive gone was to make a payment and every staff member has been extremely nice, helpful, efficient and they didnt push me to buy anything or hustle me out if it was near closing time.I can honestly say if based on customer service alone (for this store- not including 1800 numbers) Id pick this provider in the future for my cell phone needs.

This place is an absolute joke. Worst customer service I have ever experienced with any company. Tia the Manager has promised to fix an ongoing billing issue and has not delivered. Skylar the salesman made all kinds of promises about a specific offer on a phone 2/16/19 and still has not delivered. He wouldnt even let me take a picture of the special offer he gave and now I can see why. No follow up phone calls at all. Now once they see this Im sure I will never hear from them again. Thats ok because Im going to handle by other means now and let corporate know about this shady place.****Update****Well one day after post all handled at both corporate and local levels. Manager called to apologize for entire fiasco and full credit given on bill. Thank you corporate for stepping in and making everything right.

Upon entering this store there was no greeting. I walked around and sat down for 25 minutes and not one Hello or we will be with you in a few. The staff cared of no one that entered except who was at there desk. No greeter or name taken. Even upon me walking out nothing was mentioned. Upon owning small businesses , one of the most important thing is to acknowledge customers and even though you are busy you look forward to helping them. This was a terrible experience. Swift changes and training are needed. Sadly I will not trade with this location.

I washed my phone in my jeans pocket and went to Verizon on Carolina Beach road to find out how to file an insurance claim. Jonathan helped me figure all this out he even made calls for me.There days later I received my replacement phone. Took it to Verizon to get everything set up properly. Thank goodness Jonathan was there because the replacement did not work at all. The insurance company was terrible. They said I had to file a new claim and wanted my charge card number again.I had already paid the $129.00 deductible. Anyway I got so mad at this insurance company and was ready to just get a refund and go buy a throw away phone.Jonathan was there. He made calls to the help desk and I have a new phone coming in three days. I cannot express how much it means to me to receive this kind of service. I am a senior citizen and would not have a phone with out his help. Thanks again Jonathan!

Been a customer for years; first time was when I had some questions about the newest phones & plan options. Good, solid company that’s conveniently located. Large enough store to have good selection yet not too big to where you feel like you need to take a number & hope it gets called within 30 minutes. I’ve gone there to switch providers, add/transfer lines & to buy/trade phones. These guys are on point. Most recently I had the best experience & wanted to share. Soooooo... about 3 weeks ago, after spending 30 of the past 48 hours on the phone with Vzw and Assurion & their 9 diff Cust Svc Reps trying to simply activate my sons new replacement phone, I rushed to Victra on a random weeknight. I was praying maybe someone there could help & hoped to get there before they closed. In that 30+ hours, I’d had (none of which were requested or wished for) a prepaid line added onto my acct (?), my sons phone’s # changed, my fiancée’s calls being forwarded to MY line, incoming calls blocked on my sons REAL line and random charges on my acct of $85. Well, in 7 SECONDS the 2 guys at Victra identified the problem. I had received a “dud” of a SIM Card. That’s it. THAT was the problem. They swapped em out AND took the time to make sure the phone was activated. Before I left, they helped & supported me until I was comfortable with where i was at in terms of my acct and the other lines being back to where where they should be. So, maybe 10-15 minutes & everything was back in order like it should’ve been 47 hours prior. I’ve been in Cust Svc & HR Mgmt for over 20yrs and can attest to Victra being the poster child of excellence in customer service. I wish i could remember their names (one had previously worked at a Vzw call center) but I’m hoping them and their Managers see this...Thanks you guys. So much. - Caroline H.

HORRENDOUS Customer Service !!!! I waited patiently for about 20 minutes as there was one person working there and he was taking care of a customer that was there before me. Another person came in and waited patiently with me for an extended period of time as well. Soon after a woman came in and walked right passed us. Asked the sales associate a question. He got up and immediately waited on her. He disregarded me and the other customer completely! I was going to buy 2 S9 SAMSUNG GALAXY Phones from this location for Christmas presents. This verizon wireless authorized (Victra) retail store was not nearby my home (20mi). In fact there are 2 stores within 5 mi.The reason i had gone to this store was due to a friends suggestion and was assured i would be given a discount.But after an 1 hour the sales person said she was going to lunch. Then after choosing a phone, asking questions about the phone and cell plans we finally got to the purchasing part and there wasnt a DISCOUNT on the phone, instead she kept pushing but was being OVER CHARGED FOR the phone i could have gotten over $150.00 cheaper by buying online, but they DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. PERIOD! And was told especially being the Christmas holidays and they stated it perfect opportunity for counterfeit money to be passed. WHAT?😯 UR KIDDING ME, RIGHT?🤔 Since WHEN did we become a complete CASHLESS SOCIETY?! Needless to say i walked out w/out a phone, with my useless cash 💸 anđ a valuable lesson. What a complete waste of time and gas. But in the end i won. I did not feel that they were very helpful I went in this store looking for a prepaid Verizon phone and there were only two to choose from and one was a flip phone so that was totally out of the question I was looking for a smartphone of course who uses flip phones in these days very few people Im sure and then when I told them the problems that I was having with the phone that I had already bought from them on their prepaid service which was less than a year old they did not attempt to assist me in any way they gave me a phone number to call and sent me out the door. When I called the phone number I sat on hold for about 20 minutes when I finally got through about 3 different people to the person that was going to troubleshoot my phone he started troubleshooting put me on hold about 4 times and then finally they hung up on me and no one even attempted to call me back poor Service as far as Im concerned.

We recently purchased a new phone for my son here. The lady (Janette Stanley) who checked us out asked me for my credit card to pay for taxes on the phone and tablet we bought. When I looked at the bill she handed me on my way out I saw $39.98 in setup and go fees that were not disclosed to me. I also was charged another $60 activation on my Verizon Bill that wasnt disclosed. I just went in to try and straighten this out and they didnt do anything to correct the situation. If you do choose to do business with these guys, make sure you get what they say in writing and dont trust what you are told. My 12 year old son was paying for the purchase himself and this was a very disappointing and difficult lesson for him.
