I have been a customer of Home Depot for probably 25 years. I haven’t ever given a review though. The last few times I’ve been in I’ve been helped by a guy named Parker and was very happy with the service. He was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help me out with my project. More importantly he seemed to really know what he was talking about. Great service. I’ll seek him out next time I need Pro Desk help, although I almost always get great service at Home Depot.

I know most people think Home Depot is a fairly cut and dry experience, therefore not requiring a review, but my service today was unbelievable and I wanted to personally and publicly applaud their associate, Penny, today. Penny helped us find the right blinds for our window and answered all questions we had to make sure we got the right fit. She also took the time to grab them from the VERY top of the shelf and then cut them perfectly for us. We’re so pleased with her assistance and wanted to make sure she felt properly appreciated.

My experience trying to purchase a dishwasher and hot water heater was a nightmare. It took multiple visits, and an enormous amount of time on the phone to get the whole debacle resolved, and I still dont have a dishwasher. The only bright spot was Maria at the Pro Desk. She is the only person that was professional, and kind. She took the time to help me arrange the installation of my new water heater, even after the installation company refused to install it ?! She helped me resolve that mess. The dishwasher, even though we selected a unit that was supposedly at the warehouse, had to be shipped. Despite numerous promises and updates, assuring me it was coming on time, and would be installed, never arrived. Imagine that. Again, through Marias kind and professional assistance, I was refunded for the unit. I wish I could give her 10 stars, she was the only positive aspect of a miserable experience.

Pros beware... Pro services here are terrible. We understand material delays. But the communication and accuracy of them is a absolutely terrible. We ordered a vinyl fence for a client that took 2 months to arrive and when we went out there to have to order loaded into our dump trailer. All of the posts were missing and they didnt know where they are. Absolutely ridiculous.

After buying a set of outdoor lights, I realized I needed another string. The store showed that they had 48 sets but none were on the shelf. I asked for help from a young person named Kevin. He went with me to the overstock shelf, and retrieved a set from the very top of the warehouse.Incredible customer service. Thank you , thank you , thank you!

Openly discriminatory towards employees. Refused to pay for over 2 months. Every time I call in regards to pay I get hung up on and asked to stop calling. Worst experience I’ve ever had working at any corporation. The managers are rude and un helpful with any situation. Do not work for this location. But a horrible taste In my mouth for this corporation. I’m this day in age I couldn’t believe some of the things I saw. PLEASE STAY AWAY!

These people here at home depot are sorry people. i ordered a electric ratchet and had email saying it was in the store. i went to go pick it up at the desk in wilmington nc home depot. they told me that they had no clue what happened to my package they said they just slip through the cracks sometimes. it was supposed to be there at the store 5 days prior. all they could say its the computers fualt and they dont know when or if the package would be coming in. i had to go through hoops to get a full refund and that was very difficult they have no customer service. the woman manager at the wilmington store should just quit her job and do us all a favor. please

Things could have went perfect but.. I ordered my husband a grill for fathers day, scheduled the pickup, 2 young fellas put it on the back of the truck never even offered to help strap it down. I had 40 miles to go, fortunately I had the straps & know how but good customer service would have atleast offered.

Slow response. Needed a AC unit from top shelf. Looked everywhere on ground could not locate one. After 15 minutes waiting, the employee comes over and proclaims that the unit Im looking for is on ground. I ask him to show it to me. After a couple minutes of searching, he acknowledged that there are none on floor. He returns after a couple minutes later with a rolling step ladder to retrieve my unit. I was just s little frustrated with the wait.

We ordered two chairs for our patio and requested curbside pickup. Dale brought out our items in a timely manner and noted the damage to the exterior of the box. He made sure to note he was available to help in case anything was out of place when we got everything home. He then loaded everything up with the help of a few colleagues. Once opened we noted the chairs had a few minor dings which didnt bother us too much, but I let Dale know and he offered to either replace or submit for a slight discount based on the condition. The slight damage to the chairs and box were completely out of his control, but I greatly appreciate how Dale handled the whole situation from start to finish. Great customer service which I thought deserved a shout out.

Although I have been a loyal customer, the lack of support and has reached an unacceptable level at 210 Eastwood Road in Wilmington, NC. I have been understanding of the current employee stortages and realize that I can no longer rely on your employees recommendations and support. For the past month, Ive had to research and even call and drive to other stores as far as 60+ miles away to get answers and inventory. However, yesterday around 4:00 pm, I had an experience where I could not even get support to help with scanning an item that barcode would not read. Basically while in the self service line, I requested assistance. I stood there for 10 minutes watching the Home Depot clerk in the self checkout area joke and laugh with another person. All the time, the speaker was continuously broadcasting customer requesting support. At the end of 10 minutes, your clerk abruptly walked by me, turned her head as not to have eye contact and walked away. I abandoned my purchase and alerted the manager of the experience. Because of recent decline of service and inventory, I will be taking my business to another hardware store. Perhaps someone at Home Depot can use this notice to improve their service.

Trish and Dewayne were soo helpful. I wont tell you again what a nightmare Lowes was while trying to purchase a new washer. ( see KDOCK review on lowes home improvement)But Trish and Dewayne had a great attitude and were very courteous and answered all questions .In and out in 20 minutes and my new washer will be delivered in a few days. A very enjoyable Home Depot visit

Like to give them higher marks but the customer service was just barely average. Had called first to see if riding mower was in stock and after getting there found out is was still in a crate and needed to be assembled. Ok I get that. I wanted to take it home then but was told had free delivery which was cool. But I cant have delived until over a week later. It took over 45 minutes just to finished a sale. Poor girl had only been there a month. It seems like no help during peak times and no training the staff. Or course I am finding that more and more of this happening other box stores as well.

As a construction company owner I have never had a customer service issue with Home Depot Store #3629 until today. They have always been friendly and happy to help with issues considering the amount of money we have spent in this store. Be aware they sell tools that don’t last anywhere close to the warranty that is advertised in store and on their boxes and then don’t want to exchange them any longer. I guess I will have to start buying tools off Amazon. They take care of issues every time!

I ordered a riding mower April 7th and it was supposed to be delivered april 14th. As of april 22 it has not been ordered yet. We paid for it in full. Today i was told by the assistant manager that the factory had not built the mowers to send to thd store. How can a delivery date be given to me when the assistant manager doesnt know when it will be at the store? A town 10 miles away has 3 sitting inside their store!!! We have been lied to twice now.

Called the store ahead of time to place an order. We decided it was better for me to go toThe pro desk and place the order. I got there at 5:01 and it closed at 6. The cashier next to the pro desk told me to go to customer service to order my stuff. When I got there, the woman looked confused and said she would ask someone to come help her. This guy named Scott came over and basically berated me for trying to place an order... he didn’t know skus or anything and said my order was too big to place at the customer service desk, whoever told me to come there shouldn’t have and basically made a scene. He calls for a lumber specialist to come to the customer service desk. There is a long line of people behind me. And he makes a scene with all these people around but the kindest guy named Cecelio or something like that was just so nice and completely turned the situation calm and said that they could do what I needed help with and had me walk with him to the pro desk to make an order. He did not make me feel dumb, spoke in a gentle calm voice and took care of getting me my picking ticket.I had two guys coming in to help me pull my materials from the lumber area. One of them got here and just wanted to know the price difference between two kinds of osb. I told him not to ask Scott at the customer service desk. But he did anyways and when he came back to the lumber area to tell me about his experience, Scott told him he didn’t know anything about lumber and couldn’t tell him.We have a giant renovation project going on and if it wasn’t for Cecelio M.... would would have just switched to buying everything from ABC Supply and Lowe’s because it was truly a horrible experience. I did not even want to go over to the customer service side of the store after that with how rude Scott was.

I despise leaving 1-Star reviews for anyone but in this case against a major hardware chain...this review is very much warranted.About a month ago, our dishwasher finally went out and we had to go back to primitive ways of handwashing our dishes at home, but in the 21st Century. Home Depot was called and an order for a new dishwasher was to be delivered, with the old one carried out. Finalization of the bill happened and then...BAM!...its going to be 3 weeks before we can get it out to you. Ok...thats fine. Ill be patient and understanding that stimmy money began flowing in and possibly caused a backlog of orders. I can handwash for 3 weeks.This past Saturday, 3/20/21, I received the call that my dishwasher was being delivered and that the window would be from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm and that I would receive a call approx. 30 mins prior to them arriving. Ok. Im getting excited now that I dont have to look at small mounds of drying dishware on top of the kitchen counter anymore! Yay me! 4:30 comes around. No call, no one has shown. I call the logistics company that Home Depot contracts out (RAS Logistics) and advise that Ive heard from no one. At 5:30 pm (1 hour after the tail end of my delivery window), I get a call from the delivery driver. He says that hes 10 minutes out. FINALLY! Were getting somewhere. Then........But, sir, I have to let you know that they didnt give me the accessories to hook it up so that will need to be rescheduled. Uhhhhh...what? Excuse me...could you repeat that once more? Same statement. So, since the dishwasher would not be functional nor operational without the proper components to hook it up and would only serve as a pretty cosmetic upgrade...I naturally told him to not waste his time bringing it and to have someone in their leadership to call me ASAP bc I wanted to find out who the logistical genius was that didnt do their job and is on a pinnacle level of incompetence? It is now Tuesday, 3/23/21 and I still have not received a call from anyone at Home Depot or RAS Logistics about getting my appliance out here that has been paid for over 3 weeks. They obviously do not care and it dumbfounds me that no one has even followed back up with me when theyre just holding on to my paid-in-full dishwasher. I wanted to see how long it would take them to call me and Im still waiting. From a service perspective, I wish I could give a ZERO star. I will not give this location, nor Home Depot a fraction of my business going forward. You failed...miserably.

I went in to get several items but mainly a stacking kit and use my Pro points. The staff petson was on the phone and said she would be with me when she was done so I said I would use the rest room and come back. Sje was still on the phone so I went to see if they had gotten my furnace filters in yet. They didnt and as I walked back she was walking away. She looked right at me and kept on walking until I called out. She then said she was leabing because I had walked away. She only had 1 stacking kit and told me I couldnt buy it because she was going to use it for her display. She only sold it to me when I asked for the store manager and said I would complain to corporate.

It’s pretty close to my house and navigating the store is pretty easy everything is always organized and clean. Staff are always nice and see how you are doing and aren’t afraid to speak as you walk near them. Great customer service. I love the self checkout makes things a lot easier. I’ve never had an issue with finding what I needed and getting back out within a quick amount of time.

Sorry excuse for customer service. Every time I come here it’s the same sassy employees that give you an answer with a smart remark. They aren’t helpful ever. I could’ve swore that you can go up to anybody wearing an orange apron and ask him for a simple question and if they don’t know the answer that question refer to someone to that department or someone that does know. And not tell them to go up and down the aisle and look for them selves when all I’m asking for is a simple brand that you carryUpdate: I called a manager Mike and everything’s fine...I’m fine now, thank you mike.
