Absolutely fantastic experience! The place was clean, and welcoming. I was greeted immediately upon entering. All the employees made sure everyone that entered was helped fast. They picked my car up between 8-9 am and the only thing I was upset about was that I didnt get it back till later in the day like around 4pm. Slowest Quick Lane I have EVER been to. Ive been here for 2 HOURS for a works package and brake change and theyre STILL NOT DONE. I thought the hour and a half I waited last time was insane but here I am. What is the point of making an appointment if they dont have time to take care of your car?? Ridiculous.

I came to get an oil change for the first time and got the works package - multipoint inspection.The process took almost 4 hours. I asked to check my rear tire because it had a leak and they did not patch it.I also asked to get a quote for new tires and instead I got offered new windshield wipers.I paid $80 for all the services and yet I didn’t get what I asked for and I had to wait that long.I worked for Ford Quicklane as a tech in the past and I would never let my customers experience this.All that to say I was not satisfied with the service.

Genuinely the owners should be proud of the service department. They have a stellar staff and very competitive pricing on all services offered. In my experience dealerships have always been far more expensive to have service your vehicle but dealing with these guys I’m convinced that’s clearly not always the case. I will say that the punctuation can be a bit lacking. However the good far outweighs the bad.

I had a pre-scheduled morning appointment for β€œthe works” package. This includes an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. I showed up on time for my appointment and have been waiting for two and a half hours. I just went to talk with them and it seems that they have just started on my car. I wouldnt recommend this place at all. They overschedule their employees and cant keep up with all of the cars coming through. I feel like my car could be rushed and not done well or correctly.

The employees were nice, but dishonest. I had asked when setting up my appointment whether everyone was wearing a mask, and I was assured that they were. Then, when I was waiting I saw 5 customers and 3 staff members not wearing masks.No one likes to wear a mask, but I cannot afford to bring covid home with me.I wish I could continue taking my car here but I do not feel safe doing so.Edit: when I brought up these concerns to one of the women working there, she was very polite and informed me that masks are actually not required but that they can come pick up my car so I do not have to be exposed to people without masks in close quarters. I did not know about this and will try that next time.4 stars - the dishonesty and the employee who pulled down his mask to pick his nose were not fantastic, but the lady I talked to when I was there gave me the correct information, offered me options, and made me feel a lot better.

I have used this quick Lane three separate times. Two times for oil changes and tire rotations and one other time for a battery corrosion repair. For each of the oil changes it took over 3 1/2 hours each time, at one point they had to shuttle me home because I needed to be somewhere and they couldn’t get an oil change and tire rotation done in three hours. On my last visit my vehicle condition report reported all my brakes were in good condition, a month goes by and I here grinding in my rear brakes. The back driver side was completely worn down to the rivets. Not sure how brakes go from good condition to be completely worn down to the rivets in one month with normal driving. I specifically was paying attention to my brake condition because I was anticipating needing breaks in the near future, but with their inspection they appear to be in good condition with plenty of miles left. I have been very disappointed in the timeframe they are able to complete β€œquick lane” car maintenance and they are dishonest because they’re saying they’re inspecting things and they’re not, which leads me to believe are they really doing the work they say they’re doing. I will not return here for any sort of car care.

There is a sign on their door saying Mask are required you go in and not one single employee was wearing a mask... NOT ONE! mostly all the customers were wearing one except for a couple who probably saw the employees not wearing and didnt take them seriously on the required mask sign. If you get service done there, i recommend you sanitize youre vehicles...

We have brought our family vehicles here for years. It’s been fine. However, we always have to check that all the valve stem caps and lug nut covers have been placed back on after service before we leave the parking lot after service because too many times they’ve been left off. But now we’re noticing they are not topping off all the fluids which is very frustrating. After service this time, I had to add coolant AND oil! I went in for an oil change and had to add oil myself once I got home. That is wrong after paying full price for β€œthe works” package. They are supposed to be quick, but they need to be thorough too. Very unhappy..

I recently took my vehicle to Mel Hambelton Quick Lane because a check engine light was on and my vehicle was shaking while in idle. I was promptly greeted by AJ who went above and beyond and made my whole experience easy and enjoyable. AJ let me know that the QuickLane couldnt handle my issue but he still kept my vehicle, got it in to the Service center and taken care of. AJ ALWAYS called exactly when he said he would even if he didnt have an update. The service was quick and professional. I will always try to find AJ when I visit the QuickLane again. Ben was very professional at handling my truck service needs. Greeted me upon arrival and walked me to my vehicle upon departure asking if everything was satisfactory. Additionally, he called to give me an update on the status of my vehicle as promised and on time. I also had the truck washed with a coupon i had and they did an awesome job! The front grill was completely cleaned of bugs, the wheels shined, no water marks on the exterior and they even scrubbed the floor mats to look like new. Extremely pleased. Great job to all! Quick and thorough. Waiting room is comfortable enough. Snacks and drinks available--some complimentary, some for sale (reasonable prices). My vehicle has always received great service, including some recall work, here. Ive been treated respectfully and kept fully informed of vehicle needs. My only continued complaint is that car wash and vacuum are not offered here (to top off the service) as at several other area establishments with the same service offerings, even those charging a bit less for the oil change/maintenance services. This mite sound strange but I am not a ford owner nor do I like fords.But as far as Dealerships and there service Departments Mel Hambelton Ford has been far the best that in my 33 years of a vehicle owner that I have found. Quick lane has great service people. I always do my service by Appointment. You have the choice to wait at the Quick lane or ask to be taken to the main Dealership. There they have food pop soft chairs WiFi and many vehicles new and used you can look at. If the wait is going to be long due to your list of things you asked to have done you can ask for a loaner car. I live just over an hour away but the drive is worth it. Give them a try.

If i could leave ZERO stars and make a review I would. I have NEVER had service like this before. I took my vehicle in to have a new key programmed. Three and a half hours later they still hadnt gotten to it so I asked for my keys back and I would return when I had an entire day for them to do the work. Amazingly, as soon as I asked for my keys, they had Just started working on it, so that left me a hostage at their mercy. Another hour later, I finally had my car back with both keys. After getting home (and finally testing the new key) it did not work. I had to drive BACK to the location and wait another hour to have BOTH of my keys re-programmed.Ill drive to Newton or Hutch before I make the 4 mile trip back to this place. If you value customer service and being treated like a human, find somewhere else to take your car. This place will never see me again or anyone I know if i can help it.What a disgrace to the service industry.

They said they would have a ride ready to take me home after dropping of my car, but for the full length of the service they told me the shuttle driver was almost here they got the service done in an hour and a half, which wasnt too bad, but I still would have rather spent that time at home rather than a waiting room. After waiting over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation, they tried to upsell a brake light bulb for $27. I later discovered it wasnt even burned out. They forgot my discount and had to reissue my receipt, charged more than the quoted price because I needed more oil, etc. After I left, I discovered a major shimmy in my steering wheel. I called them and they said it was probably the tires due to being rotated and it would cost $15 per tire to balance them... So another $60! Why isnt that part of the service?? I just feel like I have to watch my back every time I go to Mel Hambelton for anything.

Wait time was 75 minutes, thought that was a little excessive since I had an appointment and was only having an oil change done. Got called up to pay the ticket and the guy acted annoyed that I was asking him questions about the report he threw at me, didnt answer them very well. Only reason I went to Quick Lane was because Ford sent me a service gift certificate on the anniversary of my purchase date, I wont go back to the west Kellogg location.

I knew exactly what was going on, the service tech. sent me a video of the inspection of my vehicle as he went through the process. The vehicle was picked up on time and delivered back as promised. I bought my first car from mel hambleton 7 years ago and loved everything about the service and bought another vehicle a couple years later. However, in the last 2 years the quick lane service has really gone downhill. Weve been charged for services that was never done. For example we paid to have our tires rotated. A week later we got a flat and when we went to put the spare on it was very apparent that they had not been rotated. The lug nut caps were stripped and we had to destroy them to get to the lug nuts and we had to use a mallet to beat the tire lose to get it off the bolts.This last time I took it in for an oil change. I have tires for life with them so I have to have regular required maintenance done in order to keep getting free tires. Because of my car mileage they recommend we get a fuel flush and another service (cant remember what right now) and said it will be $350. Not knowing what service is required to keep tires for life I made the comment that any more when I go to get an oil change its costing me $300-$400 every time and its getting ridiculous. They then informed me that I didnt need those 2 other services for the tires for life and all I need at this point in time was a simple oil change which was only $40.I also gave road hazard on my tires and when I get a flat I take the tire in there to get fixed or replaced. I tell them right away every time that I have road hazard which they confirm when they look at my service records but dispite this they have tried to charge me for fixing/replacing the tire.Also the wait time to have anything done is ridiculous. I have to allot 2 to 3 hrs of wait time everytime I take my vehicles in for service.The staff is very friendly especially AJ who I deal with most of the time. But a word to the wise, know what services you have to have vs what they recommend you get and double check your receipt. I will not buy another vehicle from Mel Hambleton and if it wasnt for the tires for life on my car I would not take my vehicles there for service anymore.

I now have 35000 miles on my vehicle and I have been back to Mel Hambleton numerous times for service work. Their Quick Lane technicians and staff are friendly and fast, and I have nothing but good experiences there.
