I have never really been impressed with most sandwich shops. They tend to be generic and always tend to be stingy with their size and quality of their offerings. Long story short...I was very impressed as it exceeded all of my expectations. Excellent!! High quality very tasty servings. I left completely satisfied. Its small but service was prompt. Limited seating but thats great!Only tell those you love about this place. Let the ones that you just like find their own place

I’d die happy with a Hot Italian (no onions or mayo)

I love this sophisticated shop. The sandwiches, soups, chilis, salsas, hummous, and cheese blends (like feta jalapeno) are all made from scratch. The crew is energetic and mostly bilingual. The beer and wine selection is top notch too. You will also enjoy exploring their imported condiments, candies and other treats. Go there now!

The spicy Italian alone is worth the trip. Ive also tried their bagel egg and cheese, along with a few other sandwiches, but its that Spicy Italian that I keep going back for.

Opposite a garge in a small group of stores. A korean resturant and a pizza place. The market has fenced off tables outside and shades from the sun. The shop is small and crowded. Grocery items and extensive wines and cold drinks. In one corner a team prepare sandwiches and meals. Known for breakfast sandwiches eggs bacon sausage pati etc. Bagels cream cheese. The list is extensive. Regular coffee. The area has a lot of walk in younger people often walking their dogs. Its go a friendly upbeat feel. Despite the lack of space the friendly atmosphere makes it all work. Made a pleasant change watching the world go by and a number of people took the time to say hello.

Cute little market. I came for the sandwiches and got their Italian. Found it very good, and decently priced for what you got! Enjoyed the outdoor seating. They dont have a lot of selection for food, but a tiny bit of everything.

I almost dont want to leave this review just so I can keep this place all to myself! Great spot to grab a sandwich, chips, and a drink for lunch. I havent tried their breakfast sandwiches but know they had bagels and burritos on their menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wish there were more lunch spots like this in DC - what a gem!

Im a big fan of small businesses that are essential to the fabric of the local community. This is one of them. A small convenient store that makes delicious, cheap sandwiches (you can get an egg/bacon/cheese bagel for just over $5). In a city full of chains and starved of businesses that provide a sense of community, this stands out. Nothing glamorous, just pure old fashioned friendly service from your neighbourhood convenient store.

I love this little Bodega on 18th Street , its small but it has a tremendous variety of stuff that you need. I can can always get some eggs or a lemon or a club soda. Also, the deli is really great they make breakfast burritos in the morning and they make fantastic deli sandwiches the rest of the day. This is a staple place for me to pick up lunch and my go to emergency supply location.

Fantastic family-owned specialty bodega--DC meets NYC. Great sandwiches, perfect little patio for enjoying breakfast on a quiet block of 18th street. I live closer to other breakfast spots but this is my favorite one.

The sandwiches are great; one of the best delis in DC--which are difficult to find. The market is a bit expensive and only really sells the more obscure pantry essentials. The staff is not always the warmest and the service is not quick, but not poor enough for me to stop being a regular.

Large selection of sandwiches, but I think they should condense the menu and focus on getting better ingredients for their sandwiches. Right now its kinda all over the place and the quality suffers from that
