Lack of help being their biggest issue at this time do not care to wait in line for 15 minutes when I ran in the store real quick to grab something

I bought one of these heaters took it home put it on a full propane tank. The 20# propanetank was well within the safe to fill date on the top of the tank. In less than 15 minutes after starting the heater it caught on fire to a point that rendered the propane tank useless. I was told by Harbor Freight management to purchase a new tank and propane fill that would be reimbursed for. Harbor Freight management sent me a Gag order letting me know I would be reimbursed only if I signed the letter and I would be subject to a large fine if I spoke about there unsafe heater. WELL THEYRE SELLING THE SAME POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS HEATER AGAIN. This heater could have burned the garage it was running in . This all happened in less than 1 hour after I purchased the heater. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS ITEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CATCH FIRE AND OR EXPLODE. IT IS NOT SAFE AND SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THIER SHELFS. Harbor Freight IS FULLY AWARE OF THE DANGER THIS HEATER PRESENTS AND THEYRE STILL SELLING THIS ITEM. Harbor Freight never did a recall or WARNING on this item even though they were fully aware of the potential danger it presented. Needless to say I was never reimbursed for my loss. The worse part was, I didnt realize the full scope of its danger. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS HEATER FOR ANY TYPE OF LIVING AREA IT COULD KILL YOU. To Harbor Freight I say shame on you for continuing to market this heater . Look at the pictures and you be the JUDGE of the potential danger this heater presents.

Ive only been once, during quarantine. I think I would like to shop there more often but very busy and long lines. The deals are great and Pittsburgh tools are better than average.

I am disappointed that while the organization has the COVID19 rules posted on their doors, they are not using them to protect their patrons. More then 25 customers in store; employee at register has mask on chin and the other employee switched her mask mid check out and wiped her nose without washing her hands; one customer in the store did not have their mask on and others were not wearing them properly; no flow through the store so multiple patrons are in aisles and walking right on top of each other. We have to do better to ensure our fellow RIers stay well.

Great place for off-brand tools. Nothing in store resembles top quality; nevertheless, it is an ideal place to shop if you are working on a single project and dont plan to use the tools much. For example, I purchased a toe-kick saw for $60.00. This type of saw is not even available at Home Depot or Lowes.Floor Jacks are also a bargain.

I go to other hardware stores and they are 2-3x the cost for the same tools. If need a few new tools for a specific job, I go here. You can buy the tool for what other places cost to rent. Go here and see for yourself you can get 2-3 tools for the price of one in the large department stores.

They basically have what home Depot can offer and more. They have inverters, battery chargers, car jacks, and much more. I would recommend a quick browse if you think you are in need of tools that you dont even think you need.

Cant shop without coupons. Prices are all different from catalog to catalog. Prices overlap so you have to have the right coupon to get the lowest price. Today was very crowded and what I wanted was out of stock so I didnt want to wait on a line 2 as lies long for a few other items. The store is obviously very popular.

Not good didnt have the product that I bought 8 months ago and put insurance on it , so I had to buy a different product and a new insurance because once you use the insurance you lose it even if you still have 19 months left of that insurance I think that sucks.

Didnt have my paper receipt and the cashier would not even give me a store credit on an unopened item. Very unhelpful. Young man on the 1st register, warwick, Rhode island location. Finally found my electronic receipt and returned the item. Very disappointed in the customer service. Very unusual for harbor freight.

Everything I needed and everything else I didnt need was in stock. The line was longer than I am used to but once a they added another cashier the line went quickly. The staff is always helpful and the store condition is neat and tidy

Awe yeah. Me likes to get $ 76 dollars worth of stuff for only $ 54 bucks after using their coupons. Naturally you have to know that there are many items you just have to steer clear of because theyre super cheap as in price and quality.

10 year harbor freight customer here....2 things that you have to look out for at harbor freight. ..1,do not buy anything electrical from harbor freight ,I guarantee that you will be disappointed....TRUST ME,GO TO HOME DEPOT AND SPEND THE EXTRA,IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY IN THE LONG RUN!!!....2, the 20% off coupons and returns...I purchased a $29.99 3 ball hitch insert and a $12.00 lock pin....at the checkout they obviously take the 20% off of the cheaper item.....I got out to my truck and opened up the hitch insert to find that it was a hollow shaft,so I took it back in and returned it and they gave me the money back minus the 20%.....that was the more expensive item that they didnt take the 20% off of but they subtracted it when I returned it......BAD BUSINESS IN MY EYES.....

You know what to expect with harbor freight, mostly cheap Chinese products but when you need to get a project done a require that one tool you dont have or cant find this is the place to go. Also there are a few jems to be found at harbor freight, some well made useful items at good prices. I wouldnt buy my Tools here if I were a everyday mechanic but for the rest of us harbor freight is great for deals on the stuff we need.

I like their tools and equipment its not high quality stuff but its decent pricing. If you use a 20% coupon read the tiny little print I bought a stick welder for $159.99 and they do not give discounts on any major items like that so I guess that 20% coupon is good for probably a $10 ratchet. The last 3 times ive been there in 2 weeks they didnt even ask me my phone number on my Harbor Freight account including today.

Great tools for the price. Just about everything you could need. They actually have a lot more to offer on their website. Only downfall of the website is no “pick up in store” option. Shipping is pretty steep
