I made an appointment to meet with Chris (3 day wait) to get my hearing aides that were issued by the military readjusted. Chris knew from the beginning of our visit he did not have a sale, but took care of me so much better than any other hearing professional I had seen. Awesome experience! Chris and Kim are true professionals with exceptional customer service. I was shocked at how much I was missing with the slow decline of hearing loss. I brought my Dad in as his current hearing aids were getting faulty. We met with Kim who checked us in. She introduced us to Chris Maher. Between Kim and Chris, our whole experience was wonderful. I could not believe the difference in my Dads hearing with the right hearing aids. They made you feel comfortable and right at home. They did not pressure, but took the time needed to go over everything with us. Kim helped my Dad clean the old hearing aids so he could still use them until his new ones came in. I had the unique opportunity to observe an expert at work today.I took a good friend to see Chris Maher. Chris is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever observed. He is also very charismatic. He put my fiend at ease with his mirthful wit. I watched Chris use all the newest technology To test Dave. His products come equipped with Bluetooth and even more specialized noise cancelling technology.He put together a small pair of devices for Dave. They were so small you couldn’t see them when they were fitted to Dave’s ears. When Dave heard what he has missed for so many years I knew we were at the right place. You could actually have a conversation with Dave again. Chris is one of a kind. His skills and empathy are something to see. My friend Dave didn’t want to leave. I finally got Dave home and he hasn’t stopped calling me. It’s a gift from God to restore someone’s hearing and or sight. Dave mentioned to me more than once he Had nothing left to live for. Funny how things change. Chris has revived his will to live. If you have a loved one who is at that point please give them a chance.

I was so impressed with this company. Chris and Emily are both so professional and knowledgeable. They are truly passionate about taking care of their patients. Looking out for their best interest. Chris is not going to sell you a product you dont need.I took my 82 year old dad to him and right from the second that I walked in the door I could tell this was a totally different place. Chris did a hearing test on my dad we sat down and discussed our options. Chris was never in a hurry and had the time to answer our many questions. He fitted my dad for his hearing aids and as I sat and watched his face at the sounds he could now hear I had to hold back the tears.My dad called me that afternoon and told me how he heard a bird chirp for the first time in over 10 years. Chris Maher had helped me with my hearing loss since about 2012. I feel he is very competent, no pressure and offers great service. Initially he offered me a set of overhauled hearing aids which worked great until I lost one. Then he put me in a new set of Phonaks I have been very pleased with them. I see him periodically for a tune-up or just a cleaning. Never had an extra charge. I have been hearing well and am very pleased.

I wore hearing aids for about 5 years. Decided to check out Chris, to see what the difference might be, he checked my hearing, put in some sample hearing aids to see the difference, he walked out of his office, through the waiting room and into a room on the other side, all the time talking to me in a normal voice and I heard and understood him well......I WAS SOLD at that point. Since purchasing, about a year ago, anytime I have had any issues or needed anything, I would go in and Emily, would take care of me, always with a smile on her face. Wow! What a wonderful experience. One of my hearing aids died Wednesday morning. Trouble shooting no help. Work is very difficult without both hearing aids. Stopped by Healthy Hearing, no appt. Thought maybe they could send my hearing aid for repair. Was treated with concern and respect. Not only did they facilitate the repair. Chris tested me and fitted me with a loaner pair. Started out good while I was purchasing the hearing aids. I paid almost $6000 for a new set. I was told that batteries/supplies were provided free of charge for lifetime. Afterwards when I needed supplies the story changed. I also was not informed that the hearing aids required wax filter for the product to work effectively. The additional cost is roughly $24 per month. The experience has been deceptive and I do not recommend you purchase from them unless you get everything promised in writing.

I can not tell you enough how much that these phenomenal hearing aids mean to me. Nor can I thank you enough for the care, concern and patience that you give me each and every time that I walked through your door for even the smallest little issue. I love the personal touch you and your staff treat me with. You come away with the comfortable feeling that you and I are old friends. ***UPDATED*** We 1st met Chris a few years ago, after we heard about Healthy Hearing Now on a radio talk show and the broadcaster personality himself recommended Healthy Hearing Now because of personal experience with the company. Our 1st visit went great, but unfortunately, our insurance company didnt pay anything towards hearing units which can be very expensive.We went back just a few years later to be fitted with the model we had tried. Chris then talked about a new model that was Bluetooth and he really pushed it on us, talking about how great it would be for work, driving, etc,. Chris failed to mention that Bluetooth was extremely dangerous to those with severe hearing issues, especially using the feature while driving! I have talked to neuropsychologist who can back this fact up. I have also done tons of research on this topic as well as conditions that are linked to hearing loss and memory issues. Please, be very cautious of hope-inspiring words the SALESMAN will say to you about being there for you! Chris Maher is there to make money off of a great product and doesnt stand behind his word! He told my husband and me that he was there if we had any questions or needed any help whatsoever after we purchased the hearing units. I called him a while back to get him to email me the facts about my husbands hearing issues and how I needed to work with him to retrain his brain for the best possible outcome. Chris had warned us that my husband could pull further away with his new hearing or he could be pulled back to our children and myself...his FAMILY. I needed these facts from Chris in an email to show our family and friends so they could understand a complex situation and help me help him find his way back to us! Chris denied my request. He then said that all he could help with is the units themselves if they had a problem! My husband has continued to pull further away and a few months ago got a formal diagnosis about memory issues stemming from the severe hearing issues. I will not give up on my husband and I still believe a real miracle can happen for us but without Chris keeping his word!
