This place is convenient for local VA Beach residents. They have most of the basic requirements and the staff is super friendly. You can get better prices at the major box stores like Home Depot, but for convivence and service, it is worth the trip.

Great hardware store. They carry quality products. Have tons of camping gear. Best of all they were super helpful with getting me the gear I needed and showing me how stuff worked. There’s good parking too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic staff and selection. My projects (and therefore requests) are usually unusual and Macgyveresque, but they always help me find a solution.

I went in here in need of help to fix my license plate and the older guy in there refused to let me use their tool to secure my plates

TERRIBLE Service and NO MASKMy two daughters and I went in on a Saturday at 5:30. No one is in the place, walked in and right away was greeted by the gentlemen who you could tell felt as if I was bothering him for coming in.I then proceeded to grab about $43.00 worth of items come to the counter and he is on his phone- no mask lady at the counter didn’t even acknowledge we were standing there.We live at the beach are locals and these people wonder why they have no business.I will never go back to this hardware store. I would expect this from younger age group but from 60 year olds. If customers are bothering you and you don’t need the business then retire.NO MASK ONTerrible ServiceHope this review helps your business!!! 👋

This is my “ go to” hardware store. The staff are extremely helpful and the store always has everything I need. Everyone in the North End should support this store. It’s also so convenient !

I have been patron for the last 5 years since I moved to the North End. The prices are fair but most of all the quality of service is with out a doubt the best in the business. The know their stuff. they know where everything is and they will stop what they are doing to helpIf you have ever stayed in a Ritz Carlton you will know what I mean.

We had such a nice experience purchasing a beach umbrella and chair! It was Memorial Day weekend and super busy and all of the staff were extremely attentive and helpful! Well done! And we got free popcorn!

They had fresh popcorn and exceptional customer service! 🍿 I was helped to find what I needed the whole time and he came out to my car to see if they were the appropriate parts. I love this place.

REALLY REALLY disappointed in their service. I had come up from Florida to escape Hurricane Irma. I went into the store to buy a couple of gas cans to bring back to Florida. The next day my daughter was very ill and we were lucky enough to get airlines tickets to get her home. I tried to return the canisters and the rudest employee stuck his finger at the no returns for storm supplies and basically wouldnt even listen to me.This hardware store needs to take some service tips from Hertz car rental, Hilton Inn and and many other fabulous companies that showed compassion during the storm. You left an otherwise bad taste on what was a wonderful trip to Virginia Beach.

As soon as I walked in the cashier said hello and asked what I was looking for. He directed me to the right aisle and I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. I wish more shopping experiences were like that.

I am very disappointed. I have always purchased my Benjamin Moore Paint from the store next to Trader Joes. That store relocated but on their door it stated Beach Hardware was the only Benjamin Moore dealer left in VB. I am almost certain a Beach Hardware employee put that sign on the vacant store because when I went into their store they just laughed. They are the most unorganized and dirty store- if I hadnt texted my painter to find out where he wanted me to go (I knew he wouldt have me to go into this hardware store) I never would have gotten the Spectrum Paint new location- JUST TWO BLOCKS FROM THEIR OLD LOCATION!! If you are trying to expand clientele LYING is not the way to do it!

Great people, and great service. As a professional, they are my go to on the oceanfront.

One employee has been there forever and is about the laziest person I have seen in years. The supervisor is running all over the place overworking while the other just stands around. Owners really need to step in because its drastically effecting customer service!
