I get the many challenges retailers face today. Although my visit to this Home Depot tonight had several things wrong with it, Robert (the MOD) made it a good visit by caring and accommodating. No other home improvement retailer has empowered, customer orientated Robert’s. That’s why Home Depot is always my first choice. Better personal customer service from their employees.

I was in the area for a holiday weekend with nowhere to park my 18 wheeler. I called this store, spoke to the manager and he without hesitation let me park in the back. It was a life saver and the store deserves 5 stars for their hospitality and helpful spirit. I’ll be shopping here from now on that’s for sure!

Store is smaller than other locations, but well stocked. Some staff very knowledgeable, others still green. Easy to get in and out of, but may have to order online for variety.

Best local location, best rental department, neat, stocked well for the most part, and fast. Worst parking lot, carts are stacked in the main “street” in, and rental equipment takes up all the close parking spaces where you would normally be loading material.

Always have great experiences when I visit home depot. I primarily come for their garden section because they have really good variety and take great care of the plant products.

Everyone was super helpful and it wasnt crowded like the Battlefield location. Had to get something off the top level and the employee was super nice and professional. Im not a contractor or anything but I enjoy home projects and use power tools for my art business. I had a good experience during my return and purchase. Shout out to Riley for great customer service.

To start, this has always been my Go To Home Depot... after today I will never go back. Today my brother and I went in to buy an Anderson storm door. We noticed the box had a slight dent in it but just assumed that there was a lot of packaging around the door. When we got home the frame of the door was bent. Called the store to make sure it was okay to return the door. The first lady at customer service was not friendly at all... Went back to the doors and requested the box be opened before we took it home. A very nice young man opened the box for us and it was also bent. The other two doors that they had in stock were on the upper shelf and would need to be retrieved by store employee. An older gentleman informed us that they could not open the boxes in the store. If we wanted to open the box it would have to be purchased, taken to the parking lot, opened and then returned. He told us if its opened in the store the associate is liable for the door. Lie! He also told us that doors that are damaged will be thrown in the trash. Also probably a lie. We went back to customer service, was greeted by a very nice young lady this time, she called the manager for us (Tiny), manager instructed her over the phone for us to tell the older gentleman to open the boxes for us. We went back to the door department Saw the older gentleman walk past us twice look at us and totally ignore us. At this point in time I decided we needed to go to a different Home Depot. Terrible customer service!!

I generally have a good experience at Home Depot, but today I had an exceptionally great experience. I had a difficult time using my card at the check out in the outdoor lawn and care center, but the cashier Justin was super helpful and more than patient with me. Even though I was holding up the line, Justin took the time to rescan my items and honestly made me feel like it was not a problem at all. Thank you so much Justin, people like you make me return to Home Depot!

Our cashier was super nice to us. I always get good tips and advice here. Also, IF someone is not right there-where you are they are quick to find you the personel you need.

Awesome experience every visit. This is a great Home Depot. All sections of the store are clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a dog friendly establishment and it’s always been pleasant bringing the pup.Jackie, Chloe, and Bob were exceptionally helpful and friendly on our most recent visit with the doggo.This is definitely a Home Depot we’ll be visiting for any of our future needs!

Best hardware store near where my best friend lives. 4 stars because there is only one entrance into store location. This causes a lot of traffic and congestion to just get to the store. Other than that, a solid hardware store.

Yesy in paint dept has helped me tremendously with all of my painting projects. She has gone above and beyond for me. If you want premium customer service, seek her out. She is amazing!! Home Depot Lynnhaven, give this woman a raise, she does the work of three people!!!

I have been here many, many times and employees at this Home Depot are always friendly and go out of their way to help.

My visit here was my last. Employees need some serious training on what good customer service means. When three employees would rather chat about nothing instead of helping a customer, it’s time to find anywhere else but this place to go buy all future purchases.

Ordered dishwasher. Delivery install date of June 21. Supposed to call day before. Never heard from them. Called text delivery alert number. Found out date changed to July 27. Nobody bothered to call or email me this info. Called corporate number, they confirmed date was changed and also said they know no one usually calls to update customer. WHY. Went to store to get money back and told person nobody let me know. Did not get an apology or even an acknowledgement. Did get money back.

Had a great experience at your store today. With the help of your amazing employee Erica, she helped my husband and I find a drain auger. She took the time to understand exactly what we were in need of and pointed us in the right direction. It was nice to see someone actually take the time and help us get what we needed. The gentlemen that help you with the blinds carpet he sits at a little desk back there. He waa so helpful to me with some blinds. I needed 331/2 they didnt have 331/2. So the gentlemen told me to get 34 cause the box height is 34 and when you take out the blind it will be 331/2. That was pretty cool. What a relief . Thanks

My 19 year old GE Profile refrigerator is on its death bed, literally grasping for the last breath so my wife and I decided that we had better get down to our local Home Depot to try and find a suitable replacement before we had a stinking mess on our hands. We were greeted by associate Caroline in major appliances who we liked immediately. With her easy smile and Irish brogue she began asking clarifying questions in an effort to help us sort through our own hodgepodge of thoughts, feelings and presuppositions about a product that we had not shopped for in a long time. Professional sales people who are knowledgeable about their products and know their craft become obvious very quickly and can turn a challenge into an enjoyable experience. Caroline is such a one. We shop at Home Depot not only because its a great place to shop but because they hire and train people like Caroline.

Coming from a contractor: This place is a CIRCUS! And it has been like this for a while. The only thing they have going for them is their location. Other than that; the carts are scattered, the shelves are dissorganized, items are frequently out of stock and the employees hardly seem trained. I called the other day to get a price on a few rental items and they literally transfered my call 5 times and left me on hold. I eventually had to hang up. I honestly wasnt surprised. Compared to the other stores, this place has been poorly run for far too long now. This affects my business. GET IT TOGETHER PLEASE!!!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was looking at this refrigerator for my husband he was on the phone... the customer service Representative was AWESOME!!! He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

One rep was able to help me find everything I needed quickly.

Order two vanities from this store. Same brand, same color, same model, same everything other than length. One was ordered in store and the other online a week later because i didn’t want to drive to the store. The first one i get a 10% military discount. The second one i figured when i picked it up i would return it and repurchase it with my discount because the online website wont allow me to enter my number in for a discount. I get to store to pick the second one up and the Manager T. GARCIA says i cannot get a discount and that she cant do anything about it. She claims that she has no idea how the last person who helped me did it. Right. Theres always an over riding function or manual discount function. Its a shame how i am treated differently by two different employees on two separate days. Goes to show you that this store has poor customer service especially when i have proof of discount and purchase from this store. Its a shame because typically a store would be more reasonable in treating its customers. LOWES here i come. Two thumbs down for this establishment. Its a shame i even wasted about 5 grand in this store in the past month. Never again.

Always good. Buying the new Honda hydrostatic mower with curbside pickup. Dont even; need a flat cart, have to lift it, or load it into the car. 🙂

Was ok until I ask if I could get a military discount. And the lady say if I was registered for one. That after I showed her my military ID. I can see if I was a person that buy tons of stuff from home depot. That would be a contractor. I be lucky to buy something from them in a year or two.

Really appreciative of Assistant Manager Lisa!! I can’t say enough great things about here. Had a really bad experience with the Military Highway and E VB Blvd stores, called Lisa and she immediately wanted to help and solve the issue. She was very great at communicating what needs to be done and followed threw to the end to make sure it was done right and we got our AC unit. Thank you Lisa!!

My favorite home depot, nice store, good and helpful sales associates

This is a great place to go to get ideas and supplies for all the projects your wife found on pintrest. They really dont get too upset if you just hang out and wander the aisles for hours at a time. I turned it into a workout routine. Grab a bag of sand from the aisle and take two laps around the store. Then put it down and take three fast laps. Repeat until they tell you to stop.

I like this location because they usually have what we need and want. The only thing is that you have to show your military ID again to get your discount even if you have signed up with their Pro extra plan.

Home depot is so great because their prices are unbeatable on some things. The magic mesh magnetic screen door was 13.99 vs Lowes who sell it for 20 something dollars. And that yellow ratchet straps was 8.99 vs Lowes which I paid 15.99 the night before.

Needed grab bars and raised toilet seat for upcoming surgery. HD had both and when I bought the wrong size and had to return, they were very accommodating. Items were also good quality.

Jose was helpful and friendly. Staff was all ready to help and worked together well. Short on inventory and cutting saw was warped. Really great experience overall.

It was crazy in there today! Beautiful day when everybody was inspired to do projects. Hard to find a place to park, but worth it because mulch was 5 for $10!

The store on military hwy in Norfolk is a complete cluster screw up. When they are busy self check out lines start in lumber. Be prepared to wait. The only Home Depot that does this and there is absolutely no reason at all for this, complete incompetence.

I love this place and usually give it 5 stars but the long wait at the register in the Garden Center has caused me to only rate them 3 stars. Ive been to Home Depot 3 times last week and each time waited too long in the garden center to pay for my products and go. I havent complained to anyone but Im sure they have cameras to catch thieves and if thats the case do they survey the area and shouldnt management be aware of this? I never saw a manager come check with the cashier and she never got help unless so called for someone to load a car for a customer. The line has been long everyday that Ive been there so someone in management had to have noticed. Also they should have noticed the kids, one on the lifting machine, chatty chatty with another,( both employees) while the machine was running, for 20 mins. at the minumum,right beside the customers waiting in line.

Only self-service was open, and not working for a time. Plenty of folks stocking shelves.

5 stars. One of 5he better/best HDs I have been in, and I have been in a lot of them. Well managed which makes a huge difference, so knowledgeable, friendly staff that actively try to help you out instead of standing around; shelves stocked with everything in its place; and the tools in the tool rental section (important to me as I rent a lot from HD) in excellent working condition. This is definitely going to be my go-to HD in the future. Highly recommended.

I want this fridge to replace the exact one my soon to be ex wont give me , along with everything else because he is a giant man baby unemployed and living with his daddy.

One star is too nice. Disorganized and help is either wrong or nonexistent. Sent the wrong direction 3 times. Everyone was too concerned with talking and joking around with their coworkers. Walked out without what we trying to find. Will purposely make the drive to Celebration St or Nimmo even though this one is two minutes up the road.

Home depot was super helpful, they helped me load 90 concrete pavers. There was alot of pallets in the way of the pavers but the staff happily moved the pallets and loaded the pavers into my trailer. I really appreciated the whole situation.

While lumber prices are through the roof, we were there for a lawnmower. Having obtained a flat cart when arriving, we made our selection and quickly checked out.

Who the heck designed this parking lot? Parking and traffic make this store horrible to visit with a truck and trailer.

Are you kidding? My wife thinks I live here. With their help in supplies Ive put in sliding glass doors, 2 pull down attic stairs, remodeled 2 bathrooms and built a huge garden for my home. Its one stop shopping.

How in the hell can it take a month for a simple toolkit to be delivered to the store, way to go, I wont be buying anything else from here again. It doesnt help in the slightest bit when the employees are short with me and get irritated for me wondering why it hasnt arrived.Update; here we are again. The order was placed on January 20th and still hasnt been delivered. Its been reordered on the 5th and supposed to arrive today February 12th. Corporate informed me last night that it wasnt going to arrive until the 17th and this store is giving me a delivery date of the 22nd. The one and only email Ive received for this order hstates the 12th with only 1 tracked location. They lost my first order and reordered it on the 5th (the first delivery date)because I was ready to cancel it. Today is the second delivery date.2nd update, thank you to the manager and to Anthony at the pro desk for handling this hurricane of issues with a great understanding. They were both helpful and things have been rectified.

This is my number 1 Home Depot. Best service and things are always where there supposed to be. The crown bolts section is always on point with what I need and always in order.

I try to avoid this store. Its hard to find a cart and they usually dont have what I need. I recommend just going to the Lowes on Holland or the Home depot near Redmill the FIRST TIME.

Excellent store all around customer servive too. Had slide doors install excellent workers. These young black men make me proud, they did a excellent job install.
