I dont know why but in my opinion if your advertising buying and selling diamonds and jewelry you may want to instruct the staff to at least ACT like they are looking at the items.The staff was friendly, and greeted us upon entering, but when getting down to selling the items taken in no care was given to even look at them through a loupe. No inspection was made other than looking at the carat stamp, then items were put on a scale and we were offered the spot price for scrap basically.The diamonds were never checked in fact they werent even tested. So I personally would not return to this place to sell anything and I surely would not buy from them, after all if they did not test items to buy them what are they truly selling?It was quite disappointing to say the least, especially after seeing and hearing all the best prices in town commercials

This was my first time going to a pawnshop for a loan so naturally I had a lot of concerns about pawning my personal items. The staff was great and able to answer all of my questions.I was hoping for a little more than what they offered but the amount was fair considering what I brought them wasnt exactly high quality so I cant complain about that or say I feel taken advantage of. (Dont worry, it was a loan, not a sale so they wont be selling you my low quality jewelry).The process was quick and easy. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because I dont have any other experiences to compare this one.

Went in about 2 weeks ago to do some ring shopping and it was ridiculous how nice of a selection they had. I found the perfect ring for a great price but still wanted to see if I could find something else in the area that I liked. Believe me when I say that I searched and searched and searched some more but just couldnt find what I was looking for, I felt as though I kept judging and comparing all the other rings to the one from this shop. I finally went back a few days ago to see the ring which was still there by some chance and they made me an offer I couldnt refuse. Samantha was awesome, shes a sweetheart and definitely has great customer service. If youre looking for a pawn shop that has a good selection, good people, and a good feel to it. They are fair and illustrate that both parties can walk away happy from a business transaction. By procrastinating my review of the establishment I was able to get to know the shop and the people that work there even better and give a true 5 star. I have to say the first day I would have just gave it a 5 because of their looks, but these girls are knowledgeable and know how to make a deal. Real is real. Never have I walked away and not felt that these angels of business worked their best to keep it real and make a deal.

Went to sell a ring here a while back, the expert who examined it said they wouldnt take it because of the diamonds color and cut werent up to their standards (went in without telling them I knew exactly the cut, clarity and quality just to see what they would offer). As I was waiting I walked around and saw the prices and they were WAY below what I was looking to get, so obviously I wasnt going to get what I hoped, but telling me it was worthless? Wow, dont let them dictate the worth because I went on to diamond buyers intl. and they bought it for $2,000. Listen guys, if its too nice for your shop, just say so. Or maybe get someone who knows what theyre doing.

The woman who work here are very kind, and understand some people get put in a tough spot. I needed money for gas to get to class and when the women found out they effectively got me through with processing. I was in and out in 20 mins when I came to get my items they were nicely stored and well protected.

You never know when you can tumble into a financial fix. During such times, you can sell or use any valuable to secure a loan. Im a DJ, and I had to use mixer as collateral for a loan. I cursed several times because of what I believed were individuals out to rip me off because of my desperation for cash. The mixer was somewhat heavy yet I had to move with it to more than 3 shops. If it werent for Hilltop Pawn shop, I could have received almost half of what they gave me. I sincerely feel that some of these pawn shops really suck! And I mean it !!!!But heres why I think Hilltop Pawn rocks. They welcomed me and made me relax then took me through some of the procedures and requirements they need before giving out any loans on valuables. Once we agreed, they paid promptly and assured me that they would take good care of it. And of course they did. Prefect choice!!!!

I took out two loans with Hilltop Pawn. I had 30 days to pay back the first one with a low interest rate, which turned out way better than taking out the personal loan from my bank, which is what I was originally going to do. I was able to pay the one loan back within 30 days, but for my other, I needed a little bit more time and they were so helpful in assisting me with that, I just paid the interest and got an extension. I love going into Hilltop because all of the workers are so nice. Keep up the good work ladies!
