Found a lot of items in the clearance section that was very inexpensive and useful.

Excellent experience got exactly what I needed.

Worst customer service team for delivery, will not ever request a delivery again. So I bought a couch a week ago decided to get it delivered to my house; set up a date to get it delivered today December 28th. The team calls me at 7:00am to tell me they will call me when they are close to my house. NO show called a few times still no show remind you I took off work to wait for them all day for no furniture. Worst place to get couches or anything delivered now I wondering If I will Even recieve the couch at this point. I won’t ever buy anything from this company again. I called the navy exchange on oceana and they still have no clue why it wasn’t delivered, the company had my correct address even my phone number to call and no one reached out to me all day I would like to find out where and when will my couch be delievered and I should get a refund for all this horrible customer service! only person that was able to help me and she deserves was amazing was rachelle I would like someone to find out when will my couches will actually get delivered at this point cus this is terrible customer services will not ever order from this company again!

Much larger than NEX Bethesda and Annapolis. I’m impressed with the large variety of clothes.

This is the best exchange in the Hampton Roads area in my opinion.

The main store is great! But the uniform portion sucks. Ive been waiting to get a single patch and they havnt helped me i have been standing here for what feels like an hour and they walk past me while looking the other way acting like they havnt seen me. All i want is my rating patch for my dress whites so i can leave!

The lady at the tailoring department was extremely rude. I asked where an item was and she gave me an attitude and said uh its right over there. And as Im getting my wallet out she says i need your ID. Definitely horrible customer service.

Very awesome mall type store. Great selection of brands in a department store/electronics store/fashion store/grocery store. Very diverse selection, really a one stop shop. You can get almost everything you would need/want here. My family and I all recommend to visit here.

The main store is great, but the tailoring department for uniforms is awful. Overpriced and shoddy work with slow turn around. Waited over a week just to get two patches sewn on, only to see the stitching was loose and there were loose threads hanging off it. They also refused to let me fill out a customer comment card, claiming the entire store was out of them.

This store use to be kept up nicely, but recently the bathrooms are so disgusting I don’t want to use them for myself let alone take my children in there. There are never any protective sets covers, water covering the handicapped stall floor, soap only in one dispenser, stalls out of toilet paper.. it’s disgusting. Let’s not even mention the heat inside this store, which they say “sorry the AC is out right now” every time an employee hears you say how hot it is in there. Employees rolling their eyes at a elderly customer who was just trying to see if they were in line at Wendy’s in the food court because they didn’t get what she was trying to say, when they’re at work and wearing their uniforms they really should have better manners even if they are on their break. I’m really unsure what has happened with this store because I use to really like it, now I try to avoid going here and willingly drive further to go to one of the other exchanges.

We had a great experience! More stock was available than advertised and the salesman assisted us in making educated choices. Tyler knew his products and provided great service!

Was in the checkout for about 15 minutes wind and move at all. Never to Chiefs I didnt know what they needed for their uniform took up both registers and have the employees running back and forth looking for their s*** it was annoying. So I put my stuff back and left its probably 20 minutes after the event I dont doubt that theyre still there

Excellent place. Had an issue with a item that didnt have a price and it hadnt been programmed into the system. The manager straight up said, if we cant find it, $2.00 and he stayed to his word. It was a small item, but still, the attempt to satisfy a customer and make good on the inconvenience caused by the pricing problem was excellent.Great place to shop!

Beautiful store. Jewelry staff looked at me and my sleeves of tattoos like I didnt belong there and totally ignored me when they werent. Could get any help there but electronics staff is very sweet, helpful and knowledgeable.

Excellent choice of higher end products. Not a Wal Mart . A/C is still out, very warm. Store itself is not large and they have A lot crammed in.

Great prices, they really do price match other stores. Great customer service, they treat customers with care (although not all of them do) and just a great place to shop. I suggest renovating the building. Making it more modern and have that new ish look and also extending the departments by adding more products to the electronic side.

I love the exchange this time of year. Im retired military but this time of year everyone comes out for the great sales and you get to see old friends.

Seems to have a pretty solid, if not erratic, selection of products.The signage outside could benefit from explaining more where to find things so I didn’t end up parking on one end only to go to the complete opposite end for the barber services.Also, seems like the inside A/C was struggling to keep up with the insane Virginia summer.

Easy in and out for what I came for. clean, functional, good selection of whatever you came for. good parking and what better than listening to jet noise while you shop?

Sm computer section; (Unless you are an Apple Lemming or lap top shopper). Overall a good exchange, best Class 6 in area. Spaced out fm other HR exchanges.

Military members, families, and DOD only, but great food in a nice clean facility. Can get pretty busy in the afternoons, weekends, and on paydays! But the best grocery deals in town.

Prices are not that much different than the civilian stores, and in some cases more. The selection is not that great on most items. Tends to cater to higher end merchandise, probably to avoid competing with civilian stores. You can almost always do better on Amazon or Best Buy, even with paying tax.

We were looking for a new t.v.. I didnt know what size my husband was looking at. He decided on a 65inch Samsung. The sales person was very knowledgeable about everything my husband was asking. The other sales people were great also. Nice selection to choose from and a great price. Much cheaper than other places we had checked.

The exchange usually has all the products that Im looking for as far as makeup is concerned. Most shopping areas do not realize that makeup has expiration dates. If you dont make sure that the makeup is current it could be that it will not work like the packaging says it would. I do not have that problem with the exchange. That goes for all the perishable items at The Exchange.

This one looks as big as the one in Norfolk. Thats probably because it does not have an upstairs. It is very nice inside and we found some pretty good deals.

The employees here are so friendly. Theyre willing to go an extra mile for customer satisfaction.

This Navy Exchange is a great place to shop. Very nice inside with a food court / hair cuts / gardening and many more.

Dont ever work for this location if you are a spouse or dependent because they will ask you to do things that are not safe, one woman in management is very disrespectful and curses at new hires and when you bring it to the attention of HR you get nowhere. The store itself is somewhat small compared to Norfolk and cluttered but you can still usually find good deals.

OK but shopping areas are fragmented. Prices are not a deal. The food court prices are more than the same places off base and the food clerks in the oriental restaurant were rude.

I really like the Oceana Main Exchange. They have a great selection of most products. The one drawback from the services stand point is the optical. The customer service provided to me has been exceptionable however the product restrictions and/or descriptions were very decieving. I purchased one of the premier lenses that the Oceana optical offered. I was promised a free set of lenses with the purchase of 1 pair of lenses. That offer was upheld. The other guarantee was that I had 2 free replacements due to me at my discretion for with no time restriction. Had I not come in within the last couple of months to redeem one of my free sets of lenses I would never have known the optical was closing. After learning this I was also lead to believe that I needed to get my second set of lenses soon because I only my had until December to redeem the replacements (not what I was told at time of purchase) and if not service would be transfered to Norfolk or Little Creek. With that I decided to get my second pair of lenses so I wouldnt have to go all the way to Norfolk or Little Creek as I live 4 miles away from NAS Oceana. I am still waiting for my second set of lenses to be set into my Oakly sunglasses and the optical is closed. Ive kept in close contact with one of the employees whove started working at the Norfolk optical shop. She is attempting to help me as much as possible, but if I would have known the Oceana optical was closing in a reasonable amount of time she wouldnt have to jump through hoops just to help me. With all things considered I love the lenses, but there must be better communications to the consumers when a service will no longer be provided.

The employees were helpful in the shoe department (even though they were out of my size and the employee could not tell me if they would ever be in stock again). Of course, military ID is required to buy here.

Selection was minimal, prices were ok but the customer service was AWFUL. One asian cashier needed to talk less and work more. She checked out 1 customer to the 3 or 4 the other cashier was able to check out. There was 4 customers ahead of us with just a few items a piece and it took 15 - 20 to get checked out. By the time we got checked out there was at least a dozen people in line behind us. It was ridiculous! Management needs to be more aware of what their employees are or are not doing.....weed out the ones that are not working and productive!

The staff were super helpful and friendly. It was not hard to find the specific items I was looking for. And when we got hungry there was a variety of restaurants on the Nex!

Lots of beautiful flower choices in the outdoor garden area and very helpful staff today.

They have quite a bit of stuff. Some appliances, Electronics, TVs, pretty big shoe section, and a convenience store type section. Not a bad Exchange.

The shoe associates are getting paid for??? I have no problem with self service but to stand around chewing gum like cud.. The ladies at the checkout were very nice.

DO NOT buy major appliances here. While the workers here are decent, they work with I believe Sears for deliveries who are completely incompetent. Twice now Ive gotten phone calls DURING THE TIME my dryer was supposed to be delivered saying they cant deliver it that day because either 1) no one has any idea where my dryer is, or 2) they dont have any drivers (I received that phone call at 3 pm..... no clue what took them so fricking long to realize that). Should have just paid the sales tax and gone to Lowes.

I always go here, its close by, and its never too crowded. They get new vendors in the food court almost monthly. I would suggest shopping arround a little when it comes to clothing and shoes, but overall good prices.

Well not being a Navy sailor I just happened to pull in the lot by accident trying to watch planes. From what I could see it looked like Super Walmart on steroids. I am sure they have a great selection of inside.

Overpriced designer name brand items geared to folks stuck on ships with no way to spend cash, helpful employees. Decent food selections, nice assortment of other shops in a mall style setting. Good garden center.

NEX Oceana is spread out since taking over the Commissary space. Shopping was easy and checkout no problem. Plenty of floor help.

Love my military people and bases...the stores are really quality atmosphere and items...always nice and clean...the restaurants inside base are good as well

A mini-mall. Wide variety of products, great prices. However, you must either be military active or retired, or accompanied by one as a sponsor to purchase.

This was my 1st visit to this NEX... I loved all the many options, they even have a mini Victorias Secret...I was disappointed that it was almost 100 degrees out and the A/C did not work!!! Come on now, yall can do better... Needless to say, I did not spend much time shopping because it was uncomfortably hot inside...

Good prices, but selection is slim for girls who are just aging out of girls sizes into small women sizes

Poor customer service with online orders.

For the most part it is good. The only problem I have with it is that they put things on display in the aisles; things like sale items. So this already small, crowded store feels even more crowded. Some areas are even hard to get your cart through. In these areas, you often have to stop to let someone else come through so that you can then go around the obstacle. And sometimes you have to wait a while to check out because people are usually buying quite a bit and they dont have many cashiers.

I love getting my Godiva chocolate from here! Its cheaper here than anyplace else!

I absolutely love love love the entire staff here. Customer service at its best!! This is my favorite NEX hands down. Ms. Laura is so helpful in ladies lingerie, always has a smile on her face and listens very closely to what your needs are. Ms. Janae and her staff in the uniform section are amazing! The alterations team have helped me out with quick speedy service so many times(Ms. Pamela). The perfume and make up counter staff are awesome!! These ladies know their products and know them well (Ms. Patrizia and Ms. Amy). Pamela and her staff in the jewelry department are so professional, they take their time with each customer and that is a major plus for me. The watch and sunglasses section is very nice (Ms. Lomy) The ladies apparel always has new fashions and great sales. The food court is not to big nor to small it is just the right size very very very clean and very inviting. The lay-a-way and customer service department staff are always so thoughtful and very courteous and that is unusual for customer service considering folks are rude to them and yet they still manage to keep calm and provide great service. The parking lot is always clean, around the grounds is always clean, I have never seen not even a piece of paper left in the parking lot unattended. I frequent this Exchange often sometimes just to say hello to the staff that is how much I love it! Dee

Beatuy department only cares about people who are wearing make up. I went in with any and they could care less but when I came in with make up on they wanted to help me in every way. A worker was chewing ice while walking around the store and when we asked for help she said it wasnt her section and pointed to across the store for the person we needed.... Then last time I was there I was walking out the store and I walked past a cleaning lady. When she ended up behind me she hocked a loogie into he trash bin she was pushing and I could here it hit. I wanted to get sick. Other wise nice place

Its a solid exchange, had everything I need to get back to Oceanlivin again. Food court could be better, but Subway Auntie Anns and Wendys are always good options. I would like to see a bigger Vinyard Vine Section for women, it was kinda hard finding clothing that I needed for work, took alot longer than expected. But overall , the staff was very nice, food was good and overall clean.

Great optical department, bought my glasses last year, and they are still providing great customer service in replacement of lenses a year later. (all done by phone as we are living out of the area now)
