I walked in having no idea about the extent in which LensCrafters could help me. Leslie was immediately able to decipher what I wanted needed and and even educated me on the process. I felt completely comfortable leaving my collectors items in the care of the competent staff I had the pleasure of meeting yesterday. I was recommended the town center location by word of mouth.

Very friendly and extremely helpful I needed a replacement pair of glasses total time took only 2 hours for them to turn around and hand me a brand new pair! Tons of options to choose from with flexible pricing! Highly recommended!!

I came here for my first pair of glasses ever. I had two visits and both times i was assisted by Trung. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable. He went over my insurance coverage with me and made sure I was getting the best deal. Everything was explained to me in a method that was easy for me to understand. The shop was clean, bright and made me feel safe as all employees were wearing masks.

Lilly was an excellent help and she and the gentleman went above and beyond to assist me! I am traveling to go out of town, they got my glasses in under an hour! I am so grateful! Thanks guys!

The receptionist was rude when I trying to book eye exam appointment, so I walked out without appointment.I didn’t get her name, but was around 4:45pm on Wednesday the 1st of September.The ladies from glasses department was friendly and professional, was planning to go back to purchase lenses and glasses frame after eye exam, now I don’t think so I want to come back to this location, sadly, I am a town center resident, it’s walking distance for me, now I would rather drive to a different location to have better service.

Trung provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. He was so thorough in explaining my benefits and assisting me with the perfect frames!

Donna was extremely helpful at the Town Center location in Virginia Beach. I was not happy about the 3 experience I had at Lynnhaven Mall and felt the staff did not want to be bothered. When I finally got my glasses back the other day the girl had the frames fitted over my ears and I asked if the glasses were straight. She stated Yes even though they did not look right. After 11 people told me my frames were crooked I went to the other location. Staff there is so professional , polite and patient. What a total difference in customer service being I started off with Lynnhaven ordering the wrong frames and it went down from there until Donna helped me at Town Center!!!!

The staff was very helpful in finding a stylish frame according to my face shape and personal style. I am very picky and the gentleman helping me was very patient with me. I always use LensCrafters for my eyeglasses. Trung was my salesperson.

I purchased the lens protection plan in August of 2019 when I purchased two pairs of glasses. I was not given the pamphlet on the plan. I assumed that if my lens was scratched I could bring them in for a no charge replacement. That was not the case. I was informed I had to pay $25. I asked to see the pamphlet and the representative had to pull it off the register as it was taped there. I asked for a pamphlet and was told they were on order. I said then you must not be giving them out when someone purchases the replacement plan!! I paid the $25 but will not be getting any more glasses from LensCrafters! Very misleading as I was not informed when I purchased the replacement of lens plan !

Lens Crafters in Town Center is horrible. I will never spend one penny at this store. The managers and staff do not have any customers service skills at all.

I didn’t catch the 2 ladies names today, but they went above and beyond!!! Great work!!!

Felt like I was not welcome at this location. First time I’ve ever had the experience at a LensCrafters store. I was not greeted upon entrance like others (of another race) who entered after me. The first interaction I had wasn’t even a “hello can I help you with anything”. It was “do you have a prescription and if so can I see it”. Then she proceeded to hold onto my prescription the entire time that I was looking around in the store, as if it was some sort of temporary collateral for me to look around the store. The associate never once asked me if I needed help while she held unto my prescription. She took my name, phone number, birthdate, and insurance information though for some reason even without having an eye glass option in hand. I felt like I was profiled and treated unequal at this location and would never visit again. I’m not even sure if I am interested in purchasing from a LensCrafters in general after this experience.

The team at LensCrafters did a great job at getting my prescriptions entered/ frames ordered. I had both pairs of glasses back in just under a week. Great job!

Service was superb. Very welcoming and helpful. Staff understood my questions and was thorough about everything offered to me from beginning to end.

I had gotten my exam done elsewhere so I went in looking for frames. Found what I needed, gave them my prescription & they had my glasses ready for me within 30 minutes.

I hate being that guy who complains, but I bought my glasses on 12/20, they said it would take about a week to get them. Called them on 12/28, they didnt know where they were, then said the lab lost them in shipment. They re-ordered on the 28th. Finally got them on 12/31.From 12/20 to 12/31, they never called me with updates, I had to call them.This is my second time buying from Lenscrafters in Town Center, maybe next time I should go to Costco....

I have been in here twice recently and both employees have been very nice and helpful. It does seem that the location at town center has moved to carrying the more expensive frames. I did find a great pair of glasses.

Darrylee assisted my wife and me with our order. She was personable and extremely knowledgeable about the product, RX integration, insurance, and answering all of our questions.

First off on the other reviews. How can they be written for a business that wasnt open 10 months ago. Just verify it for these fake reviews. They had a walk in appointment that I booked. Basically an open regular slot that was available for a walk in client. Showed up on time on my day off at scheduled time. There was 4 people in front of me when I walked in for appointment. Wait time over 30 minutes plus. My time is valuable. If Im late for a doctors appointment I get charged $75 missed fee. I couldnt wait. Im thinking of sending them them a bill for $75 to corporate to compensate me for my lost time. Ill go to another place where if you have an appointment, they see you in 15 minutes max of your appointment time.

Love the customer service. Had difficulty and they still were able to help me correctly. Best place if youre looking for trendy designer lendses & frames.

Hours of operation are until 6 however they locked the doors 15mins before closing and looked at me attempting to come into the store and knocking on the door to get in i will go with another location

Super nice, great customer service.gps was off by a touch and I literally was unable to find it for a minute. its on the east side of constitution, next to the bagel show or whatever it is.

I have just called twice and have been hung up on twice.Poor customer service.I didn’t even get hello out.

This particular location tried to charge me $65-85 dollar co-pay for my prescription with the Doctors change...the associate tried to up charge me for UV protection which I did not ask for, and anti scratch lenses, and when I went to Lynnhaven LensCrafters location I ended up paying $40 dollar co-pay for my bifocal lenses, and I was not charged for UV protection(Which is optional!!!), or the anti scratch lenses was already included in that price of $40 dollars, it ended up not being a $65-85 dollar co-pay with insurance. Needless to say the Lynnhaven Lenscrafters solved my problem after TC LensCrafters quoted 2 different prices. I also had to put up with being told several different wait times for my glasses to come in.

Stay away from this LensCrafters location. First, let me say that we have GREAT vision insurance. We pay a higher premium because our whole family wears glasses and we use this benefit yearly.My husband and 3 children attended an appointment for glasses after confirming that they are an in-network company for my insurance. My husband called me saying that there would be an extra cost for polycarbonate and transitional lenses. I told him both features are covered 100% covered under our insurance, but we were being charged extra anyways? I checked our policy online and called our insurance company and verified that these features were 100% covered. I met them at store and the sales rep, Leslie, did not acknowledge me even though it was apparent that I was now involved in the sales process. Our kids chose different frames (which were an upgrade from what they initially chose). While we were choosing different frames, Leslie continued to try to close the sale in their computer system with my husband. I had to ask her to stop the process because 2 of the 4 pairs of glasses were being changed and I wanted to be there for the remainder of the sale. When the frames were chosen, we sat down and she began to review the fees. She explained that the features were covered if they were separate (polycarbonate OR Transitions), but since we wanted them in the same lens then it wasnt covered. This made no sense to me, so I asked more questions. She then said that only plastic transitional lenses were covered, not polycarbonate transitional lenses. Again, we could not have the 2 features in the same lens. I called my insurance company again and was advised that we are covered 100% for both features to be in the same lens. We were also advised of the 1 year guarantee through my company for the frames. Leslie advised me to speak to a supervisor as if i was being given wrong information by the rep. Then she wanted to speak to them, stating that she worked for VisionCare and she has never heard of anything like that. (No, Leslie...this is my insurance company and we pay the premiums. Not you.) I was advised that LensCrafters (as well as other retail stores) has their own lab they send their frames to for the lenses, and they increase the cost beyond what most insurance companies will cover. If we went to a private company, there would be no out-of-pocket expenses for the features. Again, Leslie objected saying she worked for VisionCare as if it were untrue, and demanded to speak to the rep on the phone. I explained to Leslie that I do not have VisionCare (as she already knew), and I was handling things from our end. We told her we would visit a private company and if she was correct, we would come back to purchase the glasses and pay the extra expense. We asked her to hold the glasses and write down the additional total costs. We visited a different company, and found the exact same frames for 3 of the 4 family members. The features were 100% covered. We paid the difference from what was allotted for our frames. LensCrafters quoted $388. We only paid $77 total. A little internet researched revealed that Leslie also works on commission. LensCrafters policy is ridiculous, and relies on the ignorance of the consumer. Leslies behavior was that of a spoiled little bossy brat. I will never visit this or any LensCrafters again. Lesson: Know what your policy covers, and be willing to walk away from pushy salespeople.
