After having 6 kids the days of spending crazy money on brand new clothes is not happening. I have been shopping for almost 7 years and love the second hand brand new condition that is being sold but the best part is their unique gifts and toys. I have always been treated with greeting and they have always been very helpful. Very few stores are just for kids.This one is great!

I was shopping for a gift for my good friend’s baby. Beautiful things in this shop. I had a hand full of things and wanted to look for my son as well. Unfortunately I had to use the restroom. The lady told me they didn’t have one and Id have to go to the local coffee shop. I am not going to run down the way with my child in tow and use a restroom at a facility that I am not purchasing things from. So I put down 80% of what I was going to buy... I couldn’t pass up one of the onesies I had found.. checked out and I left. I walked down the shopping plaza to another baby boutique. There I was allowed to use the restroom and continued shopping for my friend. I found some great things there too. It’s too bad that this is their policy. I won’t be shopping there anymore.

This store is always a pleasure to visit. The staff is always ready to help when needed and helps find really cute outfits for the kiddos! We were there on Saturday and my son had to have a firefighter jacket there. The sales associate totally understood and let him keep it on while we checked out. He loves that rain jacket and I’m glad we were able to buy local! My mom and I love this store!!!

Ive been in here a few times. They have some really amazing items that I would never find in a typical childrens store! (Which is why I keep coming back.)However, sometimes the prices are pretty high - I do understand that some of the items are better or that this business needs to make money, but I do remember a few times I have fallen in love with an item here and have had to refrain from buying it because of the incredibly high price.Also, they tend to have more girls items than boys, in my visits at least. Which can be disappointing for me.These few things make it a 4 star instead of 5 star, but I still enjoy coming here and have definitely found items worth buying. I would recommend to most families, but only if you can afford it!

Wont be coming back here. The past two times Ive been in the employees havent spoken to me at all. And both times the store was not busy. The employees were just too busy chatting amongst themselves. Then, REALLY, what kind of kids store doesnt have a bathroom?! Ridiculous. We left and I took my business to Rock A Bye Baby down the street. The employee there was extremely friendly and helpful.

I am a single guy with four Nieces of varies ages from 1 to 7. I shop at Sprout for each birthday and Christmas. The staff always helps me pick out the best gifts and the kids always love them. Sprout makes me look like a hero to my Nieces. They take all the stress off of me to find the perfect gift. Sprout is a great shop!

I started shopping here when they were at the oceanfront. They moved up to Hilltop and are even better! I get my sons haircut down the way and then shop! Always find unique and cute clothes. And my son has so much fun playing with the shopping carts.

Natalie the owner/operator of this store is the best. Prior to becoming a father shopping for kids was foreign to me. On several occasions I walked in the door to Sprout told her my price range, and who I was buying for, and walked out with beautifully wrapped gifts in record time. The toys and clothes she carries are high end. Now that Im a dad I love bringing my son to the store. The girls always remember his name and make us feel special. This is by far one of the best locally owned and operated stores in Tidewater!!!!

Popped in here while waiting for a friend at Roast Riders. This shop has a mix of new and consigned clothing ranging from new born through early elementary school. Jenni was amazing and helped me pick out a few pieces for my niece, who is going to love her new clothes and toys. It is closer to a real store than thrift - I paid full price on two items (including an eco friendly, 100% cotton rag doll) and discounted price on three items. Plenty of moms and kids were running around the store and there are multiple toy stations set up around the shop for the kids to occupy themselves while family shop. I cant recommend enough.

I love Sprout! They have the the best kids consignment clothes around. The service is great, and the store is so pretty and clean. i always recommend Sprout when people ask where to find good quality childrens clothes.

Walked in with my three kids today. Two people at the register. They look at us and don’t even say one word. We spent probably 20 minutes in there and still not one person said a single thing.. not how we’re doing or if we need help. And they walked by us plenty of times and this store isn’t big at all.I get to the register and finally I get ‘did you find everything you need?’ I bet if I wasn’t buying anything NO ONE would have spoken a single word to us. IF it wasn’t for a gift certificate I was given I would HAVE walked right out of the store and spent my money elsewhere. Mind you their selection for boys were slim to none so it made it a more terrible shopping experience. I just picked a bib, teether , 2 onesies, and a pair of pants to get as close to my $50 so I would NEVER have to endure ever coming back to this place. Oh BUT let me tell you about the white lady who walked in around the same time as us got chatted up for a good 3 minutes while I guess my family was invisible!! NEVER have I EVER felt more unwanted in a place of business! We are all customers and deserve to feel welcome in any establishment. I’d give -10 stars if it was available.

Will not shop at a place that refuses to let my 3 year old use the restroom. There’s a sign on the door that says restroom yet my three year old was not allowed to use it.

Wonderful Childrens store!! The store itself is just adorable! Beautiful clothing and unique toys, they even do consignment!

Nice selections of nice quality childrens clothes. So much stuff to look at! :)
