Absolutely do not conduct any business with these people if you are a virtual buyer, are from out of state, or are simply just inquiring about a car that they have listed in their inventory. I inquired about the 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II for two months and it took them at minimum, a week to provide me any info about the car. During those two months, the salesmen did not keep the buyer (me) informed in a timely manner and do not provide adequate customer service. They also shouldve done a much better job for someone who is a buyer who is physically not able to be present to see the car in person due to them being a distance away from the dealership. Our conversation about the 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II ended with Jason telling me that the car had been sold 4 days earlier.

Awesome transaction, paid my down and he waited for my bank to finally get this paid, Jason held my car for a month so I could come out and drive it home, love my Defender, picked up with a full tank and a bath ready to drive 2300 miles, it’s a head turner!.....My dream car!

GO HERE FOR YOUR SHADY USED CAR SALESMAN TACTICS!Out of state buyer, was in constant communication with Jason Courtney and was going to buy one of the Land Rover Defender 90’s. Was about to book a plane ticket to fly halfway across the country. Until I was rushed and boxed into a corner by Jason. Who stated if I didn’t give him a non-refundable 10% down payment before ever touching the car, he would sell it to anyone that walked in. Jason refused to not hold it for a period of 24 hours.Jason refused to accept any else than the 10 % down payment, stating it was a business decision. Which ultimately lost him a guaranteed sale. Makes me wonder what is going on with this car (blue Defender 90).According to their web site the car is still for sale, I wonder where are all these other buyers are? I was able to find a Defender from a reputable dealer.

I saw a memory in my photos today which reminded me that I purchased my 2010 Audi A4 from Jason and his team three years ago! I figure now is a great time to extend my most sincere gratitude for a great purchase experience and vehicle. The car is equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission, and when Jason first acquired the vehicle, he discovered the clutch to be completely worn down and slipping. His words were “I can not sell a vehicle in that condition, even if it costs me the money I would have made on the car in the first place”. He paid to have the clutch replaced by a qualified service facility who used genuine parts. Of course, he provided me with an invoice for proof of the repairs, and I can also tell you that this clutch has withstood the test of time (and a little abuse!) as well. Three years later, 50k miles elapsed, and an engine that’s putting out almost double the power - no issues whatsoever with the clutch! Of course, I keep up on all additional maintenance as well.Jason and his team treated me with respect, they were honest, they were willing to negotiate, and the vehicle hasn’t left me stranded once. Even at 136000 miles, I wouldn’t hesitate to take my modified A4 across the country. I just can’t say enough about how pleased I was then and how I feel now, three years later - to the day! Jason, you should be ashamed of how you lied and spoke to us. You shouldn’t be in business, and the fact that you are scared me for any future customer. You didn’t disclose all the rust on the car we purchased out of state, and we now have bills over 2,000 to get it repaired. Correctly of course, not what you paid to have done. Since you didn’t disclose all the rust (i.e, car needs an entire new rear door, new quarter panel, new rocker panels) you advised us we could return the car. The next day we said “great, okay how do we ship back”. THEN your story changed saying “sorry, based on my lawyers advise I shouldn’t return the car” however, your lawyer was in the email telling us we COULD RETURN the car. That is when the fun started. We were very nice and polite during the emails back and forth and even tried to call you. Where you spoke to us like you were a child, name calling, yelling, crying that you had a lot going. When we asked for a refund you advised us to tell you wha the wanted to make it right. We asked for reasonable $1,000 back, one to cover shipping (since it was late) and and $500 towards the repairs. You advised us “please come back to me when you return to earth” and “do you think I put my child through College of this car, you lost your mind”.Again we were very polite during all of this despite the fact you lied, and sold a car that needs several thousand of dollars in rust repair. NOT to mention the transmission that needs to be repaired or and or replaced.You should be ashamed of how you acted, post to your customers, and how you lied.PSA - I know this car is a 2005 with 135k in the clock. The issue at hand is that you lied, acted like a child, and how spoke to your customers who just spent $6600 with you and then backed out of your solution to resolve this.Jason did refund a whopping $450 back to use to put towards our $2600 repair bills.You are a joke and should be shut down. Buying a 29 year old Rolls Royce sight unseen is a daunting challenge. Jason made it easy with clear photos and a comprehensive explanation of the few problems that existed on my selection. He even offered to have the issues fixed, but I was too excited to wait!I know the dealer doesnt have a lot of control over condition on vintage cars except for the ability to assess quality and serviceability and present them accurately. This is a strong point with Jason as far as I am concerned.My request was for an honest assessment, good and bad, so I could plan accordingly and I could not have been more pleased.Dont forget Anna in the office. Everything went smoothly when I arrived and I was on my way in no time. I intend to be back for more.

Jason is awesome to deal with! We traveled over 500 miles for a Mercedes that is very hard to find in the condition and low miles this car has. I called him shortly after he listed car for sale and he held the car for me when he could have easily sold it to someone else as there was immediate interest in the car. Hard to find people with his integrity in the car business. Anna was equally awesome to deal with and made the paperwork seamless. Jason has an excellent eye and knowledge for buying quality vehicles as can be seen by his inventory. Surprised by the selection of cars. The car I had original went to look at wasnt quite what I needed after sitting in it, but I was able to find 2 other cars on the same lot that I wanted even more. Their prices were actually very competitive and made me question why I would even consider buying from a private party. Ended up making a deal on a 2012 Audi A4, getting financing, setting up insurance, and driving it home on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone there was great and the office was a very comfortable and relaxing environment.

I bought a 2013 BMW 328ix with 61k mileage from Dream Car and Anna Courtney was handling the car and paperwork, in the call she was very pushy and with 735 credit score she said I should be lucky with APR over 10% but she knocked it down way lower eventually. I also asked Ken (i think that was his name) if he had a detailed maintenance history other than the CarFax and he said no and said NO problem whatsoever with the car, which was NOT true. In LESS than a year, the car has a MAJOR oil filter housing gasket and front thrust arm bushing problem which COST $2k to fix. The car itself was $15k. So for potential buyers planning to buy from them, good luck, as for the business, I hope you tell the truth if there was an actual problem with the car and come up with a solution before buyers buying the car, or if it is after, then at least work for a reimbursement.I did read a review with similar case as mine from Christopher Lee, turns out they have a pattern of legitimate human error and not disclosing issues of the car they are selling, so again, if you are planning to buy a car from them, read the reviews and good luck

Just purchased my second Proper Motor Car (PMC), a 1993 Bentley Brooklands, from Dream Car Chicago. My first was a 1991 Silver Spur II which Ive had for over four years. I told Jason Courtney I would buy Rolls and Bentley cars from no one other than Dream Car. This time around I traded in my 1988 Bentley Eight for the 1993 Brooklands. Ive been driving these types of cars for over 25 years so you have to expect any 25+ year old car you purchase will not be like a brand new car. The Brooklands looked great on the Dream Car website and of course when the car was shipped from Chicago to New York, where i live, it was as beautiful in person as it was in pictures. I bought this car, site unseen and used the pictures on the Dream Car website and Jasons detailed description of the car to make my choice. Best of all, working with Jason and Anna Courtney was a pleasure as always. Great communication and lots of patience on their part as Im a very picky person when it comes to buying PMCs. I bought a nice Audi A4 from this place. Everything was great and went smooth until I pulled up my checkbook. Once the transaction was done, you can forget about customers service. I didn’t buy a car here, but I would. I went to look at a car I saw online and Jason was great at showing me the car, test drive and spending time answering my questions. It wasn’t the right car for me at the time but I’m still looking and I will keep this dealership on my list.
