My Wife and I interviewed a total of 6 different Local Pool Companies prior to making our decision. After careful consideration, we opted to go with Indigo Pool Patio BBQ.Chris Whiddon in Sales was very knowledgeable of the industry and didnt try to over sell. We also had the opportunity to visit the Show Room and was able to meet with the Owner, Pat Ireland, whom reflected the same aforementioned values.The Project Scope and Timeline was easily understood; which Jason Roberts our Construction Manager and Team executed with minimal disruption to daily life.From Start to Finish, the Communication was awesome. Would definitely recommend!!

We purchased a new construction home in North Port, I am so happy our builder uses Indigo pools. They did an amazing job, and considering the crazy volume of construction going on the personal interactions each time show how great of a company this is. From Charlie helping us develop our ideas and helping guide us on items and colors needed. The few times I had a question during the build process Jason was quick to respond and answer any questions I had. Lisa who helped with my purchase of our ledge loungers and getting them sent over was a major help for us. And when it came to move in we had our pool school with Jeff, as first time pool owners, he was very informative and patient helping us out. And even his follow up when it came time for adding our chemicals and the condition of our pool was awesome. And to all the people I didnt meet or speak with who built the pool and did all the construction work, all I can say it thank you!

Our experience started with Charlie. He came to our house listened to what we wanted and then made some suggestions. His explanation of how the process of building the pool and the depth of detail is the reason we went with Indigo. Jason our site manager was easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. Jeff did our pool school and explained everything very in great detail. The different trades that came to our home where all respectable and professional. I know there are many pool companies out there, I would put Indigo up against any of them. Thanks to Pat and his entire team we have the back yard paradise of our dreams.

We just finished our pool construction project. We did a smaller pool with a sun shelf. The project from start to finish went well, even during COVID. There were a few things that needed addressed, but nothing major and what needed done was taken care of quickly. We are very pleased with the product and would recommend Indigo and do it again with them.

The entire process was made simple from design with Charlie to construction with Jason. Charlie listened to my ideas and designed my pool accordingly, incorporating his experience and ideas into my design. Jason handled the construction and always answered or returned calls immediately to address any questions or concerns I may have. The final product looks great!!

Our salt water pool by Indigo was recently completed, and we could not be happier. We have a resort-style oasis right out our backdoor.The experience was very positive. From our design meetings with Charlie to Jason who coordinated the construction to Jeff and Tori who taught us how to care for the pool and Chuck who helped troubleshoot minor issues, the process was seamless. Charlie recommended ways to abate the nearby road noise, and provided feedback to stay within budget. In addition to the Blue Granite Pebbletec with Rattlesnake tile, we have a spa, steps and safety bench, we put in umbrella holders, bubblers, spitters (deck-jets), and a lovely simple sitting ledge. We have small planting areas inside the wide-view cage. He guided us towards a travertine deck – a great idea it is so much cooler than man-made materials. This was totally worth the incremental cost. He also helped to draw and design a pool that was unique and classy. He listened, incorporating our desires in each iteration until we had the design we loved. Jason was on top of every aspect of construction. The folks doing the work were respectful of us and our desires. Jason gave us frequent updates on the steps and answered every question. Also, while we had to wait in the queue, approximately 4 months from deposit to beginning of work, once they started, they cranked. Shovels were in the ground Feb 24, and we were swimming on Memorial Day weekend.We love our pool by Indigo!

Indigo did a great job on our new pool! We shopped around a bit and did some research and chose Indigo because of the quality for the price. Chris gave us good advice during the sales process. The construction went smoother than expected. Jason kept things moving with no major delays and progress each week. Were thrilled with the final product!

It’s a long process putting in a pool but every group of installers we dealt were polite, professional and quick. Personally everyone one at Indigo is great to work with, they care and they show it. Would recommend them anytime.

18 months after pool completion, leaks at skimmers and deck jet causing severe paver collapse. The company temporarily patched one leak for free but wanted multiple thousands of dollars to complete the repair proper because they only warrant their work for twelve months. May be technically accurate from an admin view, but far from the values I look for on a major purchase like this.Water level shown is 5 calendar days after a complete fill... already below the waterline tile.

I spent a great deal of time researching pool companies in the Sarasota and Venice areas. After reading horrible reviews with most pool companies I found Indigo Pools. Their reviews were amazingly positive. My experience with this project was excellent. The people that I dealt with to design and build the pool and cage were extremely professional and honest. Nothing was hidden and everything that was quoted and fulfilled matched exactly. Their workers and crews were top notch. I find it hard to believe it myself that a project of this magnitude was painless. As far as price goes, their quote was in the middle of the pack that I sought out. After reading about the problems that others experienced using pool companies, I decided to go with Indigo, pay a bit more than the lowest bid and get a quality result.Can things go a bit wrong with all the moving parts in building a pool. Yes. But never once did I ever feel frustrated with the Indigo management and their direct approach in solving a problem or answering a question. Talk about customer friendly, this company knows how to respond and recognizes the importance of treating the customer with respect.Special thanks to Chris for his patience in helping me design and price the pool project. Also, to Scott and Jason for assuring that I was kept in the loop and for their abilities to get this project coordinated. Lastly, I want to thank the paver crew for an awesome work. I had a leak from crack in union from my Jandy pool filter. I contacted a company in Sarasota, after two months of poor communication, blame placed on Jandy supplier, rescheduled work dates, I went to Indigo Pools of Venice two weeks ago. I Received outstanding service/communication from Patty, the part was ordered, and replaced today by technician, Brett. He was competent, informative and efficient! I learned my lesson! Indigo earned a loyal customer.

Chris was amazing and designed exactly what i wanted for our budget. He was a huge help in narrowing down colors and tiles as well. Jason was also amazing answering any question i had very quickly and all of the construction was done in the timeframe estimated. The crews were all nice and waved at my 10 month old daughter who kept waving at them through the back door. We have been enjoying the pool every day since it has been finished.

I did an extensive amount of research prior to putting in our pool. I reviewed permits pulled from our county by Indigo and actually reached out to several customers to get a real review. All agreed that they did an amazing job...and they do. While we have a few things pop up, this is true of all construction jobs. All were resolved and the pool, spa, pool deck and cage came out great. We made a few pretty big changes along the way and it was all redone perfectly. I am a real pain to work with and this company was great. Seriously. Their team goes the extra mile. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I had a beautiful new pool and spa built summer last year (2019) and it turned our better than we expected. Indigo Pools and their employees/contractors were always professional and extremely knowledgeable. Now one year later I have had a few unforeseen minor issues but Indigo has always been quick to correct the problem. Even today when I had a small sunken paver issue ( just after the one year anniversary) with my daughter and granddaughter coming to visit “Julie” at Indigo made me one very happy customer by arranging for the sunken paver to be repaired today so my young grandchild wouldn’t trip and fall. This is “extraordinary customer service” folks. I recommend Indigo very highly with 5 stars.

Indigo may not be the least expensive but they are really good people who build a high quality pool. We are very satisfied! Started March 10th, I jumped in the pool for the first time on May 11th. Tough to beat getting a real high quality product, at a decent / fair price in 2 months and a day!

Unfortunately they did not have the part in the store and she called another off duty employee for help. I feel she went above and beyond. Also, I am now having them clean and service my pool. We did an extensive renovation of our lanai and pool and Indigo completed the work as we specified. Their crews arrived early and were polite and informative. Our Indigo Pool construction was an excellent experience. At the time of our build we were not at the residence which was a big concern for us, but Pat and his team led by Charlie and Jason put to bed any concerns we might have had. Any questions were always addressed in a timely fashion either by Jason or Charlie, with one time Pat driving to our house and sending us photos to make us feel at ease. You just don’t see service like that anymore! We highly recommend Indigo swimming pools.

Chris at Indigo was very easy to work with and very responsive to our questions and changes to the swimming pool design. Indigo offered excellent suggestions on options to include and options not to include with the design. The final pricing was a little above our budget, and we chose another contractor. However, we really appreciated all that Chris did.

Indigo Pools did a great job renovating my pool but communication was lacking along the way. I didnt know when they were coming unless I asked and was told the job would be complete in 4 weeks, it took 7. They were much better than the original pool company I used to install my pool. I was happy with the renovation.

The finished job, we were very pleased with. Suggestions would be to provide client with a schedule of what will be done when. Too many times there were lags in time with no idea when anyone was going to come or when. I suspect this is because they use many 3rd party subcontractors and not their own people, so planning is harder. They could do a better job of informing client of progress. Completion took longer than normal, but, workers were good, quality was good and finished project was great. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

Was using a company that was contracted by our home builder that I would not recommend to anyone. After one week with Indigo Swimming Pools and Outdoor Living our pool water looked and smelled better then it ever had. They are customer service oriented and there pool technicians are top notch. They actually do what they say they are going to do and use quality products for your pool. We highly recommend Indigo Pools as your total pool company.

It has been 3 years since Indigo restructured and enhanced our pool along with the surrounding decking. There have been no issues since and it looks as if the rehabilitation was done yesterday. The workers were very skilled and delightful to have around. Indigo was very accommodating in that there were certain improvements we required - a swim-out as well as dramatically modifying the depth of the pool. We met with Charlie Johnson the sales representative of Indigo Pools last June after being referred to them by Windemere Homes, Inc.. He was quite informative regarding our choices. We went there with preconceived notions about the style and size of our pool based on past experiences.Charlie was nice enough to explain that some of our ideas were not up to date with the latest technology and innovations. He explained that one of the water features that we wanted to utilize in our pool tended to fail and suggested something else. I wasnt thrilled with the thought of leaving my comfort zone. However, I am so glad we did. It eliminated a problem we had in a previous pool. Thank you Charlie!Charlie provided some pool and spa computer renditions of pool and spa combinations for us to consider. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in assisting us in making our decision.We listened to Charlie regarding the paver pool deck, the pool bull nose, and the pool texture for the walls and floor and various other things.Needless to say we are very happy we did. We love the pool and spa! The water is so crystal clear. It is simply beautiful.I met Patrick Ireland, one of the owners, late one evening as he was inspecting the work performed on the pool that day. He was very nice. I could tell he was a real professional and really cared about the quality of his pool construction. He told me, if I had any issues, to call him directly.That wasnt necessary as his employees were on top of every minor issue immediately.I was so impressed with the company, I retained them to perform the weekly pool service.

Prior to hiring a pool contractor, we interviewed 5 to 6 companies. We settled on Indigo because a neighbor recommended them and they were local here in Venice. Considering the complexity of the pool building process, we give Indigo high marks for communicating to us what would happen and when and the quality of their work. We were actually only disappointed in the total amount of time from start to finish (a total of 3 and a half months from contract signing to jumping in the pool). We did understand that some of that delay was due to county inspectors, but there was way too much dead time between the different phases in the process. We believe Pat and Michelle run a first class operation, and we have signed on with Indigo to provide our weekly pool service.

After researching several pool companies to resurface my pools interior, Indigo was the only one I felt comfortable with to stand behind their job with a warranty for not only the material but also the labor, should there be a problem in the future. Their employees were efficient, worked to keep the environment clean, and delivered an excellent finished product with genuine Pebbletec Finish, not some look alike or knockoff product that others provided. What is the difference between the genuine and the knockoff. Ask my neighbor after his and mine were completed within a month of each other. He would rather walk into my pool than his.

After 2 weeks of going back and forth they just stopped taking my calls and never sent a final quote. A professional would have said we are unable to build this or replied in some way. It seemed they wanted to build the pool that was convenient for them not us. We ended up going with a more custom pool builder

We have been very pleased with the quality and reliability of service provided by Indigo. In additioin to routine maintenance, Indigo saved the day when we had winter guests and our spa heater decided to take a break. Pat was able to bypass the problem and get it up and running for the weekend!

Professional, excellent response, our lanai including travertine for floor, new cage and relined pool. We now use them to maintain the pool.

Great no pressure pre-sales information knowledge from a very patient sales staff. Bought a Napoleon BBQ after the sales staff spending many hours of discussions about product pros & cons of all the BBQs offered. Pricing was good, but key is how they helped you decide what you wanted/needed and the options short and long term as you learn more about your BBQ and how to use it.. Very customer centric sales team that I strongly appreciated and recommend if you are in the market for a BBQ in SW Florida.

Indigo was about the only pool company I could find that would take out my old fiberglass pool and install a beautiful new pool..they addressed any problems I had in a timely manner and did a very creative pool for me..Pat Ireland the owner answered my questions himself and made sure that everything was perfect..I use the pool cleaning service also and it is excellent!
