We purchased five landscape plants in the spring recommended by their staff and paid extra to have them planted so we could have the one year warranty. We have irrigation but two of them were dead when we returned this fall. Read the small print before you pay extra for their warranty because they only give a discount of 50% and you still have to plant themselves, at the large discount stores they replace fully without a fight. My recommendation, read what they mean by warranty and consider the same plant for considerable less at big box stores. We decided to do business elsewhere.

A cornucopia of goodness for those who love garden centres and hardware stores. Great selection. Knowledgeable staff. Good prices.

If your trying to keep the butterflies around MRT is the place to go. Lots of different milkweed that the catipillars eat and if your lucky you might even get a couple of catipillars and their eggs. The catipillars turn into Monarch butterflies. Absolutely Beautiful. MRT even has the butterfly mesh cages.

Play recently called them about some plants and I was looking for. They actually had what I wanted. They held them for a couple hours so I could get over there to pick them up. This was all done over the phone and I walked in paid for everything and they brought them all out and put them in my trunk so there was no mess.

Ive been to MRT 4 or 5 times now while doing renovations at my Moms place and want to share my endorsement. Products, pricing and people here are fantastic (shout out to Ashley and Kim). If you are on the fence on shopping here vs a big box alternative I reccomend giving MRT a shot, especially if you are looking for nicer plant pots as they have a wonderful selection. After using several difference nurseries in the area the reason I am writing this review for MRT, and only for MRT, is the people.

Truly, this one of the BEST ACE Stores, which we call the MRT here in Englewood, Florida. Between the informative staff of Dave, Debbie, Carl and numerous other in and outside, you will be so excited you came to this store. The information on products, plants and anything within their four walls, you will buy or leave a much happier consumer.

I love this place! The staff is phenomenal. You can ALWAYS find someone to help you. Tell them what you are planning and they’ll grab a cart and and suggest and find for you everything you need to complete your project. They don’t just tell you to go to this or that aisle, they take you to it! Talk about customer service!

Such an amazing experience!! Karen at MRT was so knowledgeable!! Told us that her rooster loves hot oregano!! So I bought it!! Thank you for all your expertise in selecting herbs. I highly recommend going to MRT for all your gardening needs.

Have been there before....and this time I wont go back. they didnt do anything terrible...but I needed a new pot for a plant. Got a plain terracotta pot....NOW there was a few in different areas but all on the same shelf. one said 12.99 and one said 11.99. I chose the cheaper and then went to pay for it. it rang up 13.99. I waited for a moment...and then decided to go back and take a look. I took a picture....and grabbed one in front of the tag. it rang up again 13.99. i then waited.....why she discussed it with a few ppl. i should have just walked out....without the terracotta pot. disappointed.....customers services needs help and ability for cashiers to make adjustments. maybe she was a new employee...idk.90yo client liked the store but thought it was expensive.

Prices no higher really than competition but beautiful displays and way more choices of plants and garden decor than expected. Loved walking around to look as well as found a great choice of orchids to buy a gift for my friend.

They have landscaping is beautiful. Shrubs and trees are all in great shape and well taken care of. I bought their jasmine and am very satisfied.

We had the nicest young man wait on us in the ceramic flower containers today. I wish we would have gotten his name. He was very helpful & looked for certain pots to match. Hes a valuable employee & we will return because of him.

First time in this hardware store and I got to tell you its the most beautiful hardware store I have ever seen. Everything was perfect from the isles, art works for sale, and their garden section was incredible. Bravo to the staff and management.

I love this place. You find plants here that you will not find at the box stores. Not to mention their employees (especially the older guy that wears the large hat) that knows all about the plants. They are knoledgeable and can help guide you along in planning your landscapeing project.The items they carry are too numerous to state here. They have plants I cannot find elsewhere which is why I have returned here a few times. However at least half of everything I buy dies and because their return policy is so ridiculously short you are just out of luck.On my fourth and last trip there, they pulled their most egregious stunt. Most people know their prices are high, but they have a great selection. Because the plants are babies when you buy them I rely on the information on the cards and also the pictures. I found a bush I loved and bought several. Once I got home and began to plant them I realized I would need four more. I took the card back to MRT and they said the needed to order them. When I went to pick up my order I told them they did not look the same as the ones I bought. They looked up my order and looked at the card and told me they were indeed the same bush. I kept questioning it but they kept insisting. So, they’re the experts and I took them home.I hope I can upload pictures here because I now have along the back of my house, after a year of growth, two totally different types of bushes growing next to each other.Am I angry? That would be an understatement.I know I can post pictures on Yelp. Which is my next stop.

So many varieties of plants! This is no ordinary hardware store. It has so many fun Florida beach souvenirs and knickknacks in addition to anything that you may want for your home or lawn. Workers were also incredibly helpful.

This is an ACE hardware and its stock piled full of stuff. They need a bigger building for sure, its difficult to see everything inside. Beautiful place for large bushes and trees, plenty of statues to choose from. For small plants their prices are a bit high compared to other nurseries in the area, but they have much more to choose from thats healthy and vibrant. The indoor/outdoor area is like a rainforest, gorgeous.

Been shopping here for many, many years. The last two trips I have not been able to get assistance with identifying a tree on our property so I can provide appropriate fertilizer/food. Also needed to locate large pottery for a couple of lanai plants - and again, no luck. It is as if they added the ACE name and gave up on customer service. So disappointed, I went to Sarasota to get what I needed. Very, very sad. Used to love MRT.

We are very happy with our landscaping that was done by MRT. The men who did the work were professional, courteous, and efficient. Before they left they swept up..They worked very hard and did a wonderful job.

Terrible follow up. We were customers for years and the last project fell on its face. Always waiting on product. We were extremely cooperative but when they said they were at another job and will be there by 1p and never showed up.By the way, we paid 100% upfront for the job about three weeks prior.When we called the next day we got a run around excuse.We rescheduled this small project three times only to finally cancel the work altogether.Too bad, Randy is one the best we have worked with but its unfortunate that all his hard was lost by other members of the MRT team.

Really good place to shop has everything you want for your gardens

Wanted a new plumeria, bought a small white one. They have lots of fun things in the store.

Had what I needed but make sure you have a reciet if you want to return something rules very strict they would not let me return without a reciet.

This is a good starting point for plants. They dont have the more exotics but they do have a lot of the base shrubs to start ones landscaping journey.

I just have to say that MRT and Ace Harware are great places to shop ! But combined them and now they are awesome stores with friendly staff.

This shop keeps the healthiest plants and shrubs. There is an amazing selection of pots and indoor/outdoor decorations.Prices tend to be the same as the big box handyman shops, frequent shoppers get additional discounts.Well worth the drive.

One tree lived well, one dying. Well see if they honor replacement.

If it grows they got it, if its sick they know how to fix it. Top shelf service and products, middle of the road pricing. I will not buy elsewhere.
