I stopped by this store today and wow the selection of gifts and merchandise was plentiful! Shells, Shark teeth, gemstones, kitchen towels and I can go on. The associate who helped me was friendly and super helpful. I will definitely be going back in the future. Great variety of merchandise!

They couldn’t care less about COVID with no one wearing masks, but are happy to use it as an excuse to not accept returns or exchanges.

The staff members didnt greet us when we walked into the store. I was looking at stuff at the jewelry counter and the older woman working is didnt even come over to help me, she wasnt helping anyone looking at items. Horrible way to conduct business, she cost the store money because I was wanting to purchase several items but when you have an employee that doesnt want to help customers then you might want to get rid of that employee. The cashier was very nice.

Good selection of shells, jewelry, gifts, shirts, decor, and more. If youre visiting venice, definitely swing by before you leave. Much hasnt changed in the 18 years since Ive been.

Fantastic gift shop! I walked over halfway down this strip looking for some cool gifts and souvenirs and when I found this shop I got everything I was looking for and more! I got a shot glass, two keychains, three hats, three magnets, a real alligator head, a real shark jaw, two decks of cards, a keychain that is a bottle opener mixed with nail clippers, a shark tooth post card, a mini shell figurine that looks like a mouse and a coffee cup all for less than a hundred bucks!

Beautiful store and staff. I have seen many reviews about the staff not being nice. We found it to be the opposite. We enjoyed chatting with them. I guess you reap what you sow. She sells sea shells by the seashore. Literally. My mom, a shell artist, tells me that the shells are overpriced... but, I observe that the selection is vast. There are some genuinely unique shells here, which are cool to see.

The staff has always been a bit rude, but my kids love the trinkets so I’ve always let them stop in and pick something out. Yesterday was the last time. No masks on the staff. No masks required for the customers. It’s a disappointing disregard for the safety of their patrons. Never again. There are a dozen other gift shops that exercise basic care. They get my money now.

From postcards to little gifts to Tshirts to specialty items, you will find something here to make your trip to VENICE memorable!The manager was very helpful and had boxes, wrapped gifts and we got a complimentary bright cloth beach style bag even as we made some big purchases!Fantastic!

I can’t rate it higher. Went there too close to closing and the employee made sure my wife and I were aware of it. I never been treated with such negativity in all my years. Perhaps the retired postal lady should go back to delivering mail and forget retail before she ruins the business.

I have shopped here for years but was greatly disappointed that the staff today were not wearing masks. I mentioned it and it did not seem to matter to the sales ladies that I was uncomfortable with the fact that they were not willing to wear masks. I couldn’t get out of the store fast enough. I was buying a shirt for my grandson and at the register we noticed it was the wrong size. I said forget I want to get out of here since you don’t wear masks. Loss of a profits. Will not shop in a store that does not understand basic safety of customers.

We came here to buy a sand filter to hunt for fossilized shark teeth and met a super helpful employee who told us a lot of great hints at how to and where to find the best teeth. She helped us choose a good souvenir for our out of state friends.

This is a cute shop but the lady who works there was rude and political right wing. When I saw trump stickers I asked about Biden ones. No big deal but was called a socialist and angry. I needed to get over it. Really!?!? I guess my fault for asking the question. So unless you are a trump fan, stay away! What happened to the customer has a right to ask a simple question? If she had answered me that they didn’t at this time, that would have been the nice thing. I would have just left but she had my card in the reader. Customer beware!

We went in the shop around 5:15pm to look around since we only had a few minutes to shop for souvenirs for our trip. My boyfriends mom was in the process of making a purchase while he and I were looking at shark teeth and alligator heads in a display case. An employee came over and very rudely told us that the store was closed. The other two employees helping his mom even looked shocked by how she talked to us and asked if we would like to see something. At that point, I couldnt believe how rude she had been and kindly told them no thank you and let the store once his mom was finished. Even though they were extremely nice to us, the rudeness of the one employee made me not want to purchase anything at the store....and we were ready to spend a little money since we actually did see something we wanted to purchase.

This store has it all, I could spend hours in here just looking!!! Great place for FL soevenirs!! Postcards, shells, interesting fossils collections!!! Wow, a must stop on your trip to Venice. !!!

Very, very, very clean area and also very nice and cool souvenirs for visiting. I was also fascinated by the maps, how detailed they were and all the shark teeth you have. The only thing I am not a fan of how cramped it is in the store, but that means you can fit more souvenirs in your shop.

So, I had heard good things about this shop. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with an employee. It was 9:29 am and this employee was standing outside the shop. It opens at9:30 am. The shop appeared to be open so I reached for the door. The employee rudely told me “ we are not open yet”, good grief it was 9:29 and 55 seconds!!! Then, I overheard her telling a customer that it was difficult to find shark teeth here. Not true at all. And, when I asked about the Shark Festival, she just kind of shrugged and said she did not know anything about it. This gal needs a lesson in tourism friendliness

If you need a gift or something tropical for decor this is the story you want to go to. They have excellent prices and a huge selection. They also have tons of different kinds of seashells and sharks teeth Galore plus a lot of jewelry to choose from.

Nice local shop. Ive never been in before, but with company in town it was a perfect stop. We purchased some shark teeth for the kids to make a picture frame in remembrance of their trip. Great place for visitors and locals too.

Adorable little shop in downtown venice. We were staying on Casey Key and drove down to see what it was like. Stopped in here and grabbed some wire to make shark tooth necklaces and some earrings as a gift. They had a lot of shark tooth related jewelry, shells, snorkeling equipment, and souvenirs. The two women working there were very friendly and helpful. Definitely glad we stopped in.

This is a great place to bring grandchildren and all those still young at heart for fossils and shells. They have an incredible array of shells and shark tooth fossils.

This shop has been around since I was young. The pricing is very steep on Tee shirts and cheaply made water toys ( same items sold in many Dollar general/Dollar Tree) My son enjoyed selecting souvenirs for my family there.

Shop was nice, but the service was terrible. Upon arriving I wasn’t greeted, nor could they even look up from their phones. You’d think for a shop that thrives on tourism, you’d want people to come back.

Favorite shop on the strip for family gifts in bulk. I also love coming here to get my beach crafts. They are very friendly we have been coming here for over 8 years. If you are unsatisfied they are more than happy to get you what u need!

Store is ok, though a lot of it is pure junk. Employees are downright unfriendly, bordering on rude. None of the 3 people at the jewelry counter at front of store acknowledged us when we came in, walked around, etc. The 1 woman griped continuously about guests staying with her.We were finally acknowledged when we brought things to the counter 20 minutes later. Then she rang up our things like we were keeping her from something.Definitely wont return. Shame, because its a great location.
