Great, till you pay!Buy new, complete nightmare

First fridge did not work, nor did it fit by measurements sent by company.Second fridge, makes sounds, light cover burnt, and ice maker arm broken.It’s been a nightmare, I was trying to help out my out of state landlord, and everything backfired!Buy new!

Salesman was courteous, & knowledgeable about Dryers we looked at.Even suggested trying something to fix our problem, before selling to us.Delivery was first rate.Would recommend highly !

Early this year I purchased a washer and dryer set. Fortunately two days before my 90 day bumper to bumper warranty expired my washer developed a problem. I called, related the problem so they scheduled a technician. He evaluated the situation and apologised that it could not be repaired however it would be replaced. In short order I received a call that they had a match and scheduled a delivery. The exchange was better than expected and working perfectly.Excellent service, communication, and assistance backed by their warranty!Its gets no better than this ANYWHERE!

Went to Appliance Max in Venice today. Our refrigerator died the day before. They were the only one in town that were able to help us in to get our new refrigerator To us within 48 hours! Very helpful!

I paid for a refrigerator from Appliance Max in Venice. Their delivery man took 2 Hours to install the refrigerator. He had difficulty moving the refrigerator into my house, dropping it several times. and gouged my cement carport floor.After it was installed I noticed the plastic panel was cracked. I called Appliance Max and they agreed that a 2 hour delivery was too long. I cancelled the sale and asked them to come get the refrigerator. It is a month later and I am still waiting for it to be picked up and am having trouble getting my money refunded.I do not recommend you buy from Appliance Max.This refrigerator was not discounted. It was represented to me as a refrigerator that had passed their inspection. Most refrigerators there were priced $449 and up. Mine was priced at $449.Appliance Max has finally responded today October 15 and picked up the refrigerator. This was only after I posted this review and they are deducting 20% (Over $100) for a restocking fee. I still am awaiting the refund and also reimbursement to repair the gouges on my concrete carport floor.

Highly recommend visiting appliance max if your in the market for any appliances. I got a washer and dryer set for half the price of anywhere else I went! I was greeted with excellent service from the moment I walked in the door. I had my appliances delivered and installed, and couldnt be happier with the professionalism of the delivery guy and they even took away my old beat up washer and dryer free of charge!!! Just got done buying a range from here because I was so satisfied the first time. Highly highly recommend this place and the warranty they offer just sweetened the deal.A+++++

Just recently bought a washer and drier from them. Delivery and set up were great. I did have a problem with the washer but they were on it, they came back out made an easy repair and the set works great! Great customer service and prices. I will definitely use them again.

Went in right before closing on Friday 2/14/20, Mike was extremely helpful, and answered every question I had AB helped me narrow decision down on a new washer from them. I got a great and he helped me load it up.Got home, got it set up and found an issue when the washer goes in to its spin cycle. Called ASAP the next morning and the gentleman I spoke with was very apologetic for the whole ordeal and insisted they would take care of it for me Monday and to not worry.So far, even though there is an issue with the washer they have been great to work with and I am confident they will work out the issue with my appliance and get me good to go.

This is the worst place Ive ever had an experience with when I call this morning about a problem with a refrigerator in my unit the person who answer the phone dont I was threatening them I was trying to express a point by the time a conversation was over he was threatening me and my wife he knows who he is and he knows where I live if you think youre man enough come to my house Im talking about the Venice location I dont know what Sarasota is doing but Venice is way unorganized Ive been without a refrigerator since Tuesday and its we just got it December 24th and it broke January 26th

From the first visit to the installation, the experience was great! Maurice did a wonderful job of helping us fit in a refrigerator that had a tight fit. And working with our limited schedule for installation. We love the appliances and the delivery guy was very helpful and quick!

Dealt with Mike the owner. Wonderful experience. Gave me a great price + warranty on a GE fridge. Great place for house flippers or rental property owners.

Saw washer & dryer on Craigslist. Called to see if they were still there, they were. I told him I would be there in an hour to purchase it. When I arrived they were there with sold signs on them (reserved for me). They helped me load.When I got home I hooked them up.They both run like they are new.Very good company, I will gladly purchase from Appliance Max again :-)

Purchased a a dryer washer stack realized after delivery that water was coming out under the unit. Called them and they sent someone to fix the problem. Problem solved! Love the appliance and appreciate the excellent customer service

Wow... What a find! This store is great with mostly slightly used appliances, some just with a minor scratch that’s all warranted! I think the staff makes it even better: Mike in the Venice store, and all the others are very helpful. I want to add that they do their own delivery and “Billy” went above and beyond when he delivered my stackable washer/dryer, being very considerate not to hit the woodwork and moving a shelf slightly so the machines would fit. Who dies that any more!? Great place

We have a rental home in the area, the stove/range control panel malfunctioned so we had to get a replacement quickly. I called Appliance Max and they delivered a very reasonably-priced pre-owned range in great condition the next day. The over-the-phone order and the delivery were both courteous, professional, and timely. Great experience.

Got a good price on a used fridge for a totally fair delivery rate. Replacing my moms fridge from 700 miles away for less than I expected it to cost with one phone call works for me.

2 year warranty on motor and 90 days parts and labor . Good deal although when I ordered online and then called to see when washer set would be delivered and was told it had already been sold but they quickly called found another set and called back within minutes and could have it delivered within 3 days .

Bought a LG fridge about 1 year ago for $800 plus tax. Today still waiting for the broken ice maker cover although promised many times. Now the ice maker is defect and flooded our kitchen. Total replacement needed. Cost $400. So in total we pay $1,200 for a 10 year old fridge! I can only recommend to buy new equipment with warranty and stay away from this dealer.

Walked in, everyone was nice, found what I needed and left with it. Price was slightly high for age of appliances.

I have purchased appliances from Liquidators plus for over six years now to fill my investment rentals. More than fare on prices and service calls are prompt. Its nice to have one shop that you can count on for service and replacement without running across town.

Just purchased a used washer and dryer, which came to me broken and damaged. Have made numerous attempts by phone and in writing for a replacement set that are in certified good repair, without their cooperation. Neither this store or the Sarasota store are trustworthy.

(Avoid any service or repair from this outfit) . Called them for a refrigerator problem not cooling and they came out and diagnosed it as a compressor failure ? Refrigerator is 8 years old ?Said it would be 500.00 to replace compresser, said they would not guarantee as ( boards were not available for that refrigerator ?We almost bought a new replacment refrigerator @ $1500.00 baised on what we paid them 70.00 to diagnose.Any how I looked at it when I checked the coils on the bottom they were clogged with cat hair some thing any repair man should have seen immediately, I cleaned the coils about 10 min , I diagnosed it to a faulty temperature control, asked parts house about boards ? , and was told yesThey are all available ? Ordered the thermostat @ 70.00 installed in 15 minutes . Refrigerator is working perfectly ( took the contacter off the old thermostat and the contacts were bad , according to the parts supplier a common problem with this model as they changed the design on the thermostat .I went to the store on 41 in venice and talked to the owner Michael, explained in detail we almost spent 1500.00 on an appliance they mis diagnosed . He made( no apologies )nor made (any effort to refund the service call ) ? Kind of a sad example of a appliance repair facility , had I not had been able to research it and complete the repair my self I would have been out over $1500.00 needlessly for a refrigerator I needed a common replacment part for not a compresser and not a replacment refrigerator .
