So sad, the installers left these exposed edges on a staircase we had installed. Its wild..... As I age I loose confidence in professionals means nothing.... Beware Home Depot may send a terrible installer. I was responsible for then contacting the installers boss to fix it and was treated very poorly. I finished the job myself, thankfully my dad taught me something!

Chris W was great, he helped us get an $18 leaf rack we traveled to get since it was in stock here and was more than happy to, even though it meant working the forklift for 15 minutes past a few pallets on the ground outside and being on the top rack. Thats what I call Customer Service 👍

My wife and I had the best experience at the local Home Depot recently (store #4738). I was having a problem with my lawn trimmer and couldnt get the replacement trimmer line installed. I decided to take it to Home Depot where I bought it from to see if they could help. I was greeted by Bob, an employee who was standing outside the entrance. I explained my problem to him and he made a gallant effort to try installing the trimmer line for me. After realizing the line wasnt the correct diameter (too large) he went inside and talked to the interim manager Michael. Michael grabbed the correct replacement line, credited the cost of the wrong purchase, which solved my problem.We were also looking to match some paint for a home project so he sent my wife and I over to see Chris in the paint department. He was also super helpful and matched the paint color for us perfectly, and addressed all of our questions and concerns professionally. I left from Home Depot very impressed and very happy. Thanks to these fine gentlemen!

Pros: During the heatwave they were the only player in town who had the big mobile AC units available. 👍Their tool rental is not bad, really easy and fairly pricedCons: Good luck finding an employee who knows where things are. Once we asked a guy where sprinkler plumbing was, and he said hed never heard of that 😬. When we re-framed our question to ask for directions to another item in plumbing, he said he didnt know where anything was... that made two of us not knowing where something was, and I dont work there. Same guy asked me for directions to a different item a week after🤣. You guys are gonna have to start paying me to shop here if your employees are asking me for directions 🤣😬🤣For the love of God! Train your employees! Or at least give them a tour of the store they work in! 😬😬😬

Good home improvement store to walk around. Clean, spacious, and seems pretty well-organized. The employees dont bother you but are around if you need anything, which is good.

I was impressed with their exterior trim options. I tried to get to a true lumber store but couldnt get there before 5. I found several preprimed options that would work great for my garage door trim.

I came today to buy my mom part of her Mothers Day present. Wow they have so many pretty flowers in the garden section. The hanging baskets and rose plants are beautiful. A very nice variety. A really nice lady ( employee ) helped me pick out different baskets and a rose plant. Thank you. My moms going to be very happy ! 💜💙❤️😊

HD uses terrible floor installers through Romanoff Renovations. Do not recommend for flooring projects. Big fail.

Super friendly, helpful staff. I needed to get some plywood cut and didnt have to search around for half an hour for someone to help. Was able to flag someone down and they had no problem helping. Cheaper prices on most things compared to Lowes down the street as well

The staff is very helpful & very knowledgeable, always gives suggestions & other positive options to help their customers with their needs for their projects. If you need to return an item that you dont need, the staff at the customer service desk will attend to you as quickly as they can, no problem. This location is in Vancouver, WA on E. 197th AVE. I truly enjoy my DIY projects and Home Depot is my partner in accomplishing these goals.

Originally I would have said my experience was 3 stars at best. I was given wrong recommendations on how to redo my laminate countertops my an employee, and left with completely wrong products (the of them when I only ever needed one)!! The primer was the first sign of a mess, after curing it still peeled off despite all my prep work.All I can say is thank goodness for Joe. I came in after talking to him on the phone, and he set me up with a paint specific to redoing laminate countertops. I was so confused why the other employee didnt sell me that in the first place, since I did tell him it was laminate, even the color it says and so on....Thank you Joe for taking the time to go through it with me, your patience, and for making it right. I did have to do some work to remove the mess the previous products made, but it was well worth it, as the results of the new product is beautiful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I was greeted in the East Vancouver store by Destinee who did an exceptional job of helping me through my purchase. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly and it was apparent that she was willing to take time to help me. She is a good representative for Home Depot.

Home Depot uses Romanoff Renovations for flooring installation and Romanoff did not meet expectations. With so many complaints of poor service across multiple platforms including BBB, Google, Yelp and even their own employees complaints on Indeed and Glassdoor, there must be some credibility to Romanoffs victims claims. A quick search of Romanoff renovations reviews may save others who are considering a Home Depot flooring project, similar grief. After weeks turned into months of living on subfloor from carpet Romanoff removed and dealing with their repeated issues and excuses for not installing new flooring, Home Depot corporate was finally contacted and issued a full refund for this flooring project. Our company deals with contractors every day and Romanoff failed in customer service, preparedness, professionalism, scheduling and courtesy. Home Depot is doing a great disservice by continuing to refer its flooring customers to Romanoff.

My most recent trip there was for furnace filters, 3 types of lighting bulbs and maybe another item or two. I must say I was quite let down that they really didnt have any of the bulbs I needed which are basic utility bulbs 25w. 😰😱😩

I had a Awesome experiance with one of the employees at Home Depot this morning. As I was struggling lifting some Concrete Pier Block with Metal Brackets. A big Employee named Jeffery! was walking by, and asked me if I needed some help? He saw I was struggling and he could of kept rolling his shopping cart with supplies - But he didnt! I needed 8 heavy blocks, and he loaded them all onto my cart! Not only that, he helped me find a 12-2X6. Then After I checked out, he noticed me in the Pro area loading them with one of their other lady employees(Which I forgot to get her name but she was great too)- I told he Id be afraid to go bowling with her! Shes Strong. But this employee named Jeffery, jumped right in and helped load up the rest of the concrete blocks! Home Depo is lucky to have Jeffery as an employee! He deserves recognition And A Raise! ** Keep up the Great assistance Jeffery & the lady who helped me. & Thank you Home Depo for hiring such great employees! Way less busy than the one on Andreson. Noone was in paint department so I had to look around a bit but found someone. I had to talk to 3 different people for stuff and everyone was pretty helpful.

As always a wide selection and a clean store. One star off for lax mask enforcement though.

Went in looking for stuff for steampunkish crafting . A young woman in plumbing said good morning and asked if I needed help. Turns out, I did and she was very helpful. Usually, I cant find anyone to help in home depot.. I still love the store though. Cashier was also very pleasant. Bravo home depot.

I like both Home Depot and Lowes. But when I couldnt get all my sprinkler parts from Lowes I went to Home Depot and not only did I find all the parts I needed, I discovered their prices were lower! When youre having to buy a ton of parts, that can make a big difference.

Always enjoy shopping at Home Depot. Friendly people that are willing to help you. Lowes is exact opposite. Never can find anybody that would help.

Have always shopped here and been very happy. But last night was even better! I went in with my daughter thinking I knew what I was looking for to find out I really had no idea. Jim, who had that he was veteran on his Home Depot smock(thank you by the way)!, was who offered his help which I greatly accepted! He took his time asking me questions to find out exactly what I needed and read all the specs on the different air compressors and explained things to me! He was fantastic!!! I really appreciate the time he took and how friendly and helpful he was!! This man deserves a raise! You rarely find service like this anymore!!! I’ve always had great service here, but Jim is my favorite! Thank you Home Depot for having some awesome employees!!!

Just bought a dish washer. The customer service here is great! This is one of the reasons we will always shop here. Employees are everywhere and very friendly and informative. We learned about the product and features that we should have had on our old dishwasher. They also offered warranty options. Pricing is competitive. They do installation, delivery and removal for old one for $150.

I got what I needed to get rid of some wasps and move a bed. They have a good amor of stock in hand and now their garden section has all it plants and trees fully stocked to beatify your outside space.

Doesnt seem like the people that work there really want to help you find what you are looking for in my opinion. I bought a wireless fan and they scanned it and didnt even tell me that it needed to have the battery be bought seperatwley.

This is the smallest (or so I was told by an employee) in the tri-state area. They have a greatly reduced selection compared to other Home Depots but if you need basics its fine, if you need something a little more specialized, go to a bigger store. Prices are high (as all Home Depots) but they are open more then a lumber yard or plumbing supply company so it is what it is.

Always a pleasant experience, most items are placed sensibly in regards to their category.

Hard to find employees to get help and the woman at the paint counter obviously does not like her job. Not quite outright rude, but definitely didnt like being bothered to help out customers. Check out and returns counter employees were friendly.

This home depot is much larger than the one on Andresan. It has some positive and negative features. I prefer the more Central tool area at Andresan. The long aisles make for more confusion looking for different tools. I like the Flooring section better at this store.

Bought a generator and when I got it home, it was damaged. Called to find out if they had another and they were rude about it. Called another Home Depot and exchanged it at the 192nd store and they were awesome. Definitely will be shopping at the East Vancouver store.

Great place to get flowers

I walked in on the side with lumber and told rental, and within about 5 minutes someone actually stopped when they saw me unable to find what I was looking for and helped me find it. After spending 45 minutes at their competitor up the street and not able to find what I was looking for, I should have just come here first! Plus the person I spoke with talked through my project (hanging my tv on the wall) and assured me I was on the right track.

Bought brand new Refrigerator, Washer & Dryer from this location 2 months before moving into my new home. When I learned Id be moving 1-week earlier than expected I used Home Depots phone system to reschedule delivery (because the website system didnt work). Despite receiving multiple confirmations through email and phone that the rescheduled delivery was set, the day before we were supposed to get our new appliances the freight company called to tell me they didnt arrive. I called Home Depot only to find out that despite the confirmations THEY had never notified the manufacturers of the new delivery date. I had to make multiple calls as nobody followed up with me about the problem. Their only solution was to send a floor model refrigerator to my house (3 days late) to use until they could the new appliances a week late, on the original delivery date.Next, their contracted appliance delivery people installed the washing machine with the drainage hose lose, and flooded both floors of our BRAND NEW house, causing roughly $20,000 in damages.Throughout the entire ordeal, Home Depot has failed to follow up on phone calls, or offer any store credit, discount, etc... their response has basically just been oops, sorryIf thats how customers who spend thousands of dollars at their stores are treated, you should think twice about giving them your business... I know I wont be ever again.The single positive from the entire experience was Jim Dodson, the appliance sales worker who had thorough knowledge of the products and was a great help with selecting what we needed.

I just want to bring my observation to your attention. I believe that Cashier #1 should be rotated amongst employees. I’ve known Jennifer as a loyal customer, she always welcomes me with a smile as I enter the store, and it seems that she has been sick since last year due to the fact that she is exposed to the cold air, Which is probably why she is not getting better. Jennifer is a hard working employee who treats all of her customers with great costumer service and excellent attitude although she is sick. I am just making suggestions as a customer that regularly comes in that it would helpful to rotate the employees to cashier #1 so that she can stay healthy and is not exposed to too much of the cold weather. This would be a great suggestion to help support and maintain your employees healthy.Shout to Jennifer, she rocks!

Their website was completely wrong about what items stocked in the store and the quantities the available. Apparently this is a known issue.The employees were very rude when I was asking for directions to the correct aisle. Before leaving I went to customer service to mention the website issue. They basically made excuses and seemed as though they couldnt care less.

I’ve been going to this Home Depot for years, and it has always been a solid if unremarkable generic home center. But they really have their stuff together compared to other stores with the curbside pickup lately. I have ordered items online for curbside pickup a few times lately and they usually have the items ready to pickup in less than an hour. When I get there someone is there waiting to get my order number, and within a few minutes they have my items for me. Super slick and convenient. This is in stark contrast to the Lowe’s just down the street, which took several hours to have my order ready and was a headache to pickup from when I bought something there a few weeks ago.

This is a good Home Depot to go to in East Vancouver, always have enjoyed it for our needs.
