When my medical coverage suddenly changed, I was left in a lurch without being able to afford prescriptions critical to my existence. CVS is the only pharmacy in town that carries my prescriptions in the brand form that my new coverage requires. It was a little bit of a hassle getting everything transferred from my previous pharmacy, but because of them - not CVS. The pharmacy Id been going to for three years stalled me with incomplete information that held me up and kept me from getting my medicine for over a week. I had to miss work for an entire pay period as a result.CVS were the only ones in town who told me how to talk with new policy company to get them to fill my prescriptions quickly, and once they were ready, I had the convenience of going to pick them up 24/7 at my disposal. Living in a rural town post-COVID, I forgot how much I missed such a perk.In all fairness, the overnight staff could pay more attention to their phone when it rings. For that matter, the phone system and the manner in which it is answered at all hours of the day could probably do with an overhaul. But for the tech-savvy, their website gives adequate information and pharmacy alerts are available by text message. Additionally, their are retail savings at a competitive advantage to most other areas pharmacies. Its fast becoming my area favorite. To avoid having the phone system become an annoyance, get a pharmacist to help you set up prescription text alerts in-store if youre not technologically inclined. Theyre happy to do so.

Wow! This place is a joke! Omg! Only left one star because I had to in order to write the review. Terrible is an understatement! I just moved to Valdosta from Tampa. If its not one thing its another with this pharmacy. If you have to call, youll be waiting on hold for at least 45 minutes **or more**, rude staff, and i always have to have every prescription sent in by my doctors at least twice, sometimes more because its Not in the system (and its not just 1 doctor...its all of them!). Now Ive been waiting a week and a half for a prescription to come in and i was just informed no one ordered it and it might be another week! If you can go to another pharmacy, dont even bother with this one. Its just a headache every time you go in, and getting your meds is like pulling teeth.

Terrible place. The pharmacy staff is extremely rude and… how do I put this delicately… seemingly uneducated or, aka, terribly stupid. I have had my prescriptions sent here for years, the only reason being that this pharmacy is open longer than local pharmacies, and I have to work during the day so it’s the only one that I can get to when I’m off, but I regret this decision every time I come here. However, this will be the last time I put up with this. I hate it here hate it here hate it here and will never be back.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I only gave the one star so I could leave this review. Customer service definitely isn’t non-existent, it’s atrocious!! More than three hours to fill a single prescription is absolutely ridiculous when they have at least 12 people working behind the counter. I would highly recommend switching to The Medicine Shoppe. They are wonderful over there, friendly & fast. CVS should close this store down or at the least re-train their staff to actually “do their job”!

This is the worst drug store Ive ever dealt with. I had 3 prescriptions sent here from my home doctor, got notifications that all were ready. 1 was ready. Another trip down from Cecil... again we dont have the 3rd. After waiting about 20 minutes, the got it and it was $183 for 90 day supply. I needed it so took it and left. I found that every other pharmacy was either $16 or $24 for the same prescription. I returned with the bag still stapled shut and the bottle obviously untouched. I asked can we make this a 30 day supply instead of 90. The girl ripped the bag open, removed the bottle cap, broke the seal then said NO, we cant take any medicines back. As far as Im concerned, they STOLE $160 from me. FU CVS! I wouldnt buy a Bandaid from you if I was bleeding to death!

The service at the local pharmacy is horrible. I received a notification on my CVS app that my medication was filled on 12/4/2020 and got a call from my Dr the same morning that the medication had been called in. I went to pharmacy on next day the pick up my medication 12/05/2020 to get it and was told the medication was not called in by the doctor’s office. I was then told I could be given 3 pills to get me through until the issue could be worked out on Monday with the doctors office. After going back and forth with Peggy for several minutes, the line backed up and several people were waiting. Peggy then asked me to leave and come back to get the 3 pills. Upon arriving at the store I was informed by Peggy that she attempted to call me to inform me that they did not have the medication in stock. This is unacceptable. Had I not gotten the message on the app that the medication was filled I could have reached back out to my doctor’s office prior to the office closure on Friday now I’m without my medication. Do better CVS. If anyone know how to contact cooperate please let me know.

I dont think this is a staffing issue because, as others have said, there are always plenty of people standing around doing nothing behind the counter (except sneering at customers who dare need help and complaining to anyone within earshot that theyre so busy and theyre the only 24 hour pharmacy, etc.). I travel for work and happen to be diabetic and I really didnt want to lose the flexibility of filling insulin at any CVS around the country, so instead of changing pharmacies, I filed a complaint about the wait times (after two months they couldnt fill a single vial of insulin). The manager of this store ignored corporate requests to contact me. That should tell you everything you need to know. Just save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Slowest pharmacy ever! Plus, they would tell me a prescription would be ready by a certain day and time and then after waiting in line, they tell me it’s not ready. They’ve wasted so much of my time and energy

Worst service ever. I’ve called numerous times over a course of 2 days and no one will pick up the phone. I waited on the phone for 30 minutes and still no pick up. Switched to another CVS, will never use this one again!

When i first started going to this cvs a couple years ago, it was great. Super awesome customer service. Shelves stocked and nice. It has gone completely down the drain. Horrible customer service. Everyone is ghetto. Shelves are dusty and gross. If you have a prescription DO NOT GO HERE. You will wait 10000 years to get it. And they’re soooo rude. Switched to Walgreens. Will never be back to cvs. Unless there’s a great couponing deal of course.

Called for a refill at 5pm..was told it will be ready the next day in the morning which was fine with me. I arrived at 2pm the next day and they havent even started to work on it.I spoke with the manager, she said its best to just come in the store to place a order. My second trip here, there are 10 people in line, phone going off saying 6 pharmacy calls, apparently no one answers the phone here. This place is a mess. I understand the workers being busy, but this is unacceptable, wait an hour for a prescription refill? Corporate needs to mystery shop this place and look over the process here . I will be taking my business someone else, 2nd time coming seeing the same chaos at the pharmacy. No wonder it has a 2 star review.

I called needing my heart prescription and didn’t try to help me at all . Just hung up the phone and called again the person in the other end said we ain’t got it . CLICK . I rather drive farther down the road to another pharmacy in another town than dealing with that type of lack of compassion .

I’m extremely disappointed with the service that I have received from this location. I submit a refill request a week ago and was not made aware of their inability to obtain my prescription until I showed up on Tuesday. I have been disconnected twice to get an ndc code to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. The associates at Walgreens and rite aid were very helpful helping me find information on a suitable sub which ended up being sent to cvs again (it’s a preferred pharmacy with my insurance). I called during my lunch break today to find out when the prescription would be ready. I was told it would take an hour to fill my prescription. I called ahead again before leaving work to find out that this location is unable to fill my prescription again. A courtesy phone call could have been made from a cvs associate to let me know that my prescription couldn’t be filled within the timeframe they set. This was the last strike for me. I’d rather spend more of my money at a non preferred pharmacy like Walgreens or rite aid because my experience with their associates these last three days were most meaningful because they actually provided solutions to make this inconvenient time tolerable.

After taking my daughter into after hours due to accident, & spending 2 1/2 hours there , we weee released and they suggested we use cvs due to it being after 9 pm, and cvs is open 24 hours, we drove straight over , as we walk in another potential customer is in front of us, also walking to pharmacy to drop off script to be filled , at this time there may have been 5-6 customers in the entire store, with at least 3 visible employees in the pharmacy area, one of the other customers was also from the same afterhours clinic, anyway we stood & waited( myself & customer in front of me) , we stood & waited, we continued to stand for at least 10-12 minutes, we watched one employee ring up a sale of a single customer, another working off in the back, the pharmacist appeared to be walking in our direction a couple time, but never did, we continued to stand aimlessly, for any acknowledgement, any greeting, anyone to say, hey we will be with you all in a moment, anything but they totally ignored us.After a few more minutes, the other couple got angry and walked out , I stood there for another minute or two, while I googled other pharmacies, this CVS pharmacy is totally unprofessional, terrible customer service, they dont need my business, and they wont get my business, so wuthmt daughter, hurting still waiting in the vehicle, I left, as well, and I will get her meds tomorrow from a much better pharmacy that values my business,I would encourage you to do so,Also!!!!

I went in CVS today and the cashier with the rose tattoed on her ring finger had no customer service. She actually was agitated that I wanted to know prices before she ra g them up. She also didnt want to taje the time to see what was on sale even though I told her the tags on the shelf said different. Wont go in there again....if you work in customer service and dnt like to help customers find another freaking job.

When my Husband was released from the hospital on a Sunday afternoon with prescriptions, our local pharmacy being closed on Sunday, we told the Nurse to send the prescriptions to CVS on Ashley [very close to the hospital] The pharmacist Mrs Vishua Patel was rude, RUDE. I am 77 YOA and refused to be treated that way. She lacks the grace and manners of the Ladies of Georgia. Anyway we went to Walgreens and got the medications. Thank you Walgreens.

I wont be returning to this location. Ive had to update my insurance information 3 times because apparently it wasnt saved the previous times. Ive stood in line (many times) for over 15 minutes at either the drop off or pick up location because you can only complete certain tasks at certain stations, and I can only assume that only certain employees are allowed to work these stations given the fact that there will often be 4 or more people in one line, with no one in the other line, but no other employees ever come to assist. The final straw was that my husband was supposed to have a medicine filled and I was told it would have to be ordered but would be ready the following day at 6pm. I returned the following day at 7pm and was told it hadnt come in and they didnt know when it would be there. The next day my husband called to transfer it somewhere else because this is a pretty important medication, and he was told that the medicine HAD come in the previous day and they would fill it for him. I show up 3 hours later and guess what, they didnt even have it in the queue to be filled yet. Im tired of the complete lack of customer service and unorganization of this location. I will take my business elsewhere.
