Beauty World is always my go-to shop for any beauty needs. They are stocked to the gunnels with everything; the staff and owners are nice, professional and knowledgeable.

I had a bad experience with another beauty supply store so I came to this one. Even tho he didn’t have exactly what I was looking for I ended up purchase bundles that was similar to what I wanted. And he was very helpful and the process not rude like the other beauty store or following shoppers around instead of helping customers that need help. I continue to purchase from this store.

Wouldn’t recommend coming here at all! They do exchanges and I tried to exchange my two hair packs for something else (since I didn’t open them or use them at all) and the man (I’m guessing the owner) claimed that I used one of the hair packs and wasn’t gonna allow me to exchange it. I never opened that hair pack and that is how I got it!!! He kept saying that I used it and wasn’t listening to me! Highly recommend spending your money else where. Bad customer service and will not be shopping there anymore.

A lot to choose from, some of the items are cheap but then again, it is a beauty supply store. Although, most items are marked up higher than their value. Didnt even have to look at the comments to know that one of the cashiers there is racist. Every time I go in I can feel his eyes following me throughout the store until i finally pay. If you are a person of color, prepare to be followed...

It was a Terrible experience I wouldnt even give it 1 star ... The cashier is very rude and disrespectful. Based on the prices - they do not ring the items up right and they gave my friend a Canadian penny back ... We were threatened to not come back bc of the fact of not knowing exactly what we wanted to purchase . Then for not letting the cashier talk down to us while he was using smart and racist remarks . I would not recommend this beauty supply store to anyone and will not be returning ever again. I dont understand how you could treat a kind customer like that !!!

So its Sunday and the time is 11:30 and guess what? ITS CLOSED! The sign clearly says he opens at 11 yet here it is 30 mins after and theres no one here to open the store. There arent any signs indicating that they are closed today and there are multiple customers sitting in wait. Let me just say this is ABSOLUTELY unprofessional and a huge inconvenience. If he was not going to be open for business today, the least he could have done was post a message or SOMETHING! Its times like this when I wish Ms. Kim, ( Beauty Things on Madison Hwy) was open on Sundays. Its always an enjoyable and professional environment. Smh. Get it together Beauty World. Tuh.

They have a great variety of things

I called an ask for the price of an item, because I needed several of them and wanted to make sure I had enough cash on me, make sure they had enough of the item and I also wanted to compare their prices to another beauty supply store....when I called, they told me they dont give out prices over the phone. Ok.....well if you cant give out prices over the phone, I cant come in there and give you my money. I dont have time to go all over Valdosta to find out the price of one item.... I made the $200.00 purchase else where. Bad customer service... I was a frequent shopper...I wont be going back.

I WILL NEVER GIVE THE GUY QHO OWNS THIS ESTABLISHMENT ANY OF MY BUSY EVER!!! HE IS RUDE, LACKS PROFESSIONALSM, CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCTS HE SELL. OFTEN ACCUSES GOOD PAYING CUSTOMERS OF THEFT BECAUSE HE DOESNT DO HIS JOB CORRECTLY. AS FOR THE PRODUCT LINE, ITS OK BUT HIGHLY OVER PRICED. I WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU SHOP ELSEWHERE TO AVOID THE HEADACHES, HARASSMENT, AND TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!

This place doesnt even deserve half a star. I have been to Beauty World only once today and already, I will NOT be returning to this mediocre establishment. Today, I went to Beauty World with a VSU colleague to see what they had and just to shop around. I had only bought three beauty products which were labeled for 6.00, 2.00 and 1.00. That means that the items should only be around 10 dollars at the most. However, when I got to the male cashier at the establishment, he rung them for almost 12.00, which means that he marked UP the prices. I did not have that much cash on me at the time, because I though the items would only be 10. So, I cancelled the transaction and only got 8.00 back. Not only this but he (the cashier) criticized me for coming into their establishment with not enough money. My colleague, bought much more items than I did, but only had 30 cash. She kindly asked the cashier if he could ring all the teams up so she can see exactly how much they costed together. He (the cashier) then began to raise his voice and said, No, that is not how we do things things here. Girls like you come in here all the time with not enough money and things you can buy everything. My colleague ignored his racist remark and asked (again) if he could just ring the items. He then said, Dont play with me, I will make sure you never shop or come back here again. How are you going to threaten a first time, paying customer who has not disturbed or vandalized your establishment??? He ended up ringing the items for us after the 3rd time and we left quietly disturbed by his racist, rude remarks and horrible customer service. This place would be better if they had nicer employees and were not so expensive with the prices. Makeup prices at Ulta are way cheaper than at Beauty World, and their customer service is better, too. If you go their for their makeup, just go to Ulta, if there is a male working the cashier, leave too, and if you still need to buy hair, there is a another beauty supply right up the street.
