This atmosphere of this place is so cozy and I love the wide range of the menu. I got the bama blitz latte and it was incredible but I was disappointed with my breakfast sandwich. It was very salty and I personally don’t think it was worth the price. It was almost 13 dollars for this and the small coffee.

The expansive and hearty breakfast offerings here are unusual for a coffee shop, and everything is super tasty, with some unique items. The baked goods are among the freshest Ive had, and they might have the best scones Ive ever had! :) The coffee itself is decent but not stand-out. Go for the food - you wont be disappointed.

Fantastic coffee shop... actually coffee, tea and cafe. It has a wonderful selection of seating that is warm and welcoming with big windows providing amazing light. The selection of drinks is diverse and everyone should find something they like. The food is very good and I highly recommend the baked oatmeal. They also have some nice items to purchase as a souvenir or gift.

This coffee shop is so clean and the ambiance is so peaceful. Customer service, kind, friendly, with smiles. Lots and lots of seating at wooden tables and on couches and spaces for big groups. This place is big. Price is medium to medium high, but not the highest. I had a Bama Blitz fluffy coffee with whip cream added. It was delicious. I live cinnamon. This is definitely a local favorite as far as coffee shops go, and always busy!

Great breakfast at Heritage house today. We got the breakfast burrito and the Nutella crepes. They were both excellent. Will definitely come back and would recommend this to anyone.

Heritage House is the perfect place for a morning talk over coffee, brunch date, or afternoon study session. Comfy couches inside, big tables if you have a large crowd, and outdoor seating! This is such a cozy local coffee shop! Great food for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. There is also a couple of nick nacks you can purchase.

Used to be such a nice place to come but now their customer service is so poor and just BAD!Coffee is great and pastries are awesome but sadly won’t make up for the bad service :(

I came into this location during my lunch break. Though they seemed busy, the staff did not rush me but rather helped me decide on which lunch item I wanted. I ended up with the market salad- 100% recommend. The atmosphere is very inviting, and the workers there are very kind and helpful! Will definitely be returning!

Obsessed. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is my favorite in town. Medium cappuccino with coconut milk is my favorite AND they get the coconut milk frothy which is hard to do. There is always a seat open even though its always busy. Cozy atmosphere too.

The homemade pop tarts are quickly becoming my go to breakfast treat!

Call ahead because it gets pretty busy and go to the To Go line not the regular line. The food is phenomenal and big portions. The coffee is excellent. I am super impressed with the PSL and pumpkin spice cheesecake muffin.

This is seriously my new favorite place right now! The atmosphere is so relaxing, staff are all very friendly and the muffins are to die for! Of course coffee and tea is as well. I spend my lunch break here several days a week now and cant get here fast enough. Amazing selection of food and drinks. Great service! Great indoor space to study or relax, though I have not been dining indoors lately. Luckily there is some seating available outdoors in the shade of the building.

Best coffee house in town, no questions asked. Great ownership, staff and service.It can move slow at peak hours and when the students are in town but thats because demand is high. Quality is always top notch. Everything is made in house from the best of my knowledge.Love the drive thru ability at the Towncenter location. It can get crowded and does move slow.Great for coffee & tea (cinnanut cookie and oodles are fantastic if you like flavor), unique pastries (cruffins) and a nice lunch menu as well. The cake creations are amazing and delicious. They can make and design just about anything.

Super cute and homey feeling when you walk in. There’s even a poster to explain the different coffees so you know exactly what your getting. I also really love their pastries! I was referred by a customer while I was at work and the visit was definitely worth it. It’s a great place to study or meet up with friends. Or even just a snack stop. There’s even little cute coffee cups you can use while you dine in and a prayer wall! I would 100% recommend it.

Ive always had great experiences at HH. I usually just have a coffee product, so cant speak to their food selections very reliably.

I’m a local who loves this place, the service, and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, their response to the COVID crisis is to allow for crowded quarters and for people to study unmasked or walk in without a mask makes this an unsafe place for those concerned with their health and the health of their neighbors.

Great little coffee shop. You pick your own unique mug if you dont want one to go. The breakfast/ lunch menu is more than adequate and theyll make you some special items and things they used to serve by request.For instance, I thoroughly enjoy the Jerrys Special, even though its been off the menu for over a year. I hope Im not getting eye-rolls from everyone for saying that.

Nice place to just sit down and have a chat, very cozy. Their desserts are very nice too, ranging from brownies to cookies to pastries. They also have all sorts of coffees you could think of. Overall, this place is very nice and I highly recommend it.

A great place to hangout with your friends. I encounter a lot of my friends when I come here to hangout with my best friends.I was told recently at the time of this review that this place closes at 9pm.

Usually I am a big fan of this place, but this location seems to have a rude staff. We arrived and ordered by 8:30 a.m. There was practically no one patronizing, so I thought wed get our food quickly. I was wrong. It took a half HR before I went in to ask about our food. She brings our food (were outside) and my eggs are cold. It was a simple order that was simply forgotten. I did not eat my food. Not happy.

First time to go there. Its ok. Just dont like spending that much on coffee. Call me cheap. They had many customers though, so I know its a popular hangout.

This is a great place to have morning coffee I went before I had a physical for my new job the other morning after getting off of work that night. It was a great place to not only grab coffee from but also I ordered the baked oatmeal which was amazing with lots of strawberries and bananas on it. If you go you will not be disappointed.

Heritage House is AMAZING. They have the best coffee in town, hands down. I go by there at least twice a week. I have never had a bad experience. Even though they are usually really busy the service is always great, the people who work here are super nice and do their job well. Also, the pastries are so so SO good. I highly recommend the morning glory muffin :) Or any slice of cake, as they are all ridiculously delicious.

Recommended for ambiance and great staff!They have multiple rooms and sections. You can come in groups for study sessions.I always order long black on my first visit to coffee shops, to see how the staff deal with uncommon orders. Not only they were very nice to me, one of the staff knew how to make it and asked me where I was from etc. The food was good. Small portions, but good enough for the price.

I was 15 and in high school when I discovered the magic of Heritage House. Back then I came for the peach tea and it quickly became a regular chill spot after school. While they have long since moved from that location by Winn-Dixie in Northport, I fondly recall the time I spent there.The menu and offerings have changed too, as one would expect, yet they still have the best coffee in town and the food is superb! If youve never been, what are you waiting for? Youre only missing out on something special and uniquely Tuscaloosa. If for no other reason, go and try the baked oatmeal. I promise you are in for a real treat! I have it myself at least once a week!There are currently two Heritage House locations in Tuscaloosa; my go-to is the one just off McFarland Blvd. It is quite spacious with multiple entrances and a drive thru! It consists of a number of beautifully decorated rooms, each different from the last. Much of the decor is for sale so you can easily take a bit of that charm home, or give someone that perfect gift!Each room is perfect for losing yourself in a good book - I like to be near the fireplace myself. There are plenty of seating options for studying and working - alone or in a group of any size. Of course there are amazing tables to dine on and plenty of ways to really soak up and enjoy the atmosphere, whatever youre into. From what I understand, they also will cater and are doing event hosting now too. They are able to accommodate nearly any size group, whether it be for a wedding, graduation party, a baby shower, book club meeting, a wine tasting, or even your office holiday party!

This is the perfect place to go and do work. The coffee is tasty (though a bit sweet for some) and the environment is comfortable and homey. I havent had the food yet, but Im excited to go back and try it.

This is my favorite place to get coffee in Tuscaloosa! I love that this location has a drive thru because it makes it super easy to grab a coffee and something for breakfast on my way in to work in the mornings. My favorite thing to get for breakfast is the blueberry cream cheese roll. My favorite coffee is the toffee coffee (hot or iced!), and when I want something a little sweeter the sugar daddy is my favorite. They also make the best chai tea latte in town, which is a must have for me in the fall and winter (or iced in the summer). I could literally spend all day relaxing with coffee and a book in here. The environment is so peaceful and I always feel re-energized when I leave.

Heritage House is one of my favorite places in Tuscaloosa! Its where my friends and I go for breakfast and study dates. The food is great and the coffee is fantastic (toffee coffee and chocolate chip pancakes are my favorite)! The atmosphere is so nice with kind employees and a quiet place to study (free wifi). 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The coffee is wonderful. The service is too. It took a really long time for the coffee to come out. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant.

Ive been drinking their coffee for 5 years. Always great. They definitely need another register and to open at 6am instead of 7am. Its like waiting in line for Space Mountain before fast pass by 7:05.
