Went in to buy a gas stove and the gentleman who helped us was fantastic. He even saved me money by showing me a dented discount priced smart stove that was open box and half the price. Paid 750ish. My wife absolutely loves it. We picked up same day but a few days later someone called asking me to come pick up my stove. I did inform them I already got it. Could have been an issue if someone gave a free stove away after picking theirs up. But other than that the store is always fantastic and very helpful if I ever need it. Definitely prefer them over Lowes especially all the company does for veterans

Horrible service at the Tuscaloosa location and it turns out she is the manager. I get the feeling she knew about the misleading prices based on her quick reaction when I was making a purchase. Then she tried to lie and cover it up with a gas vs electric excuse but the pictures clearly showed the same pressure washer and information. Then she walked off to avoid any more conversation about the issue at hand. False advertising is illegal, section 13A-9-42 and this should be looked into. I photographed everything for my documentation and will not be shopping at this store again.

Excellent on a return of a kitchen faucet that didnt fit in our rv. Purchased a different one and not only fits perfect looks terrific. The customer service desk were very efficient and pleasant.

I came to color match some paint, and the woman working in the paint department was extremely helpful! I wasn’t able to get a dime sized piece of the paint, only tiny chips, but she was still able to make it work and helped me out so much! Wonderful customer service, and very patient staff

Right now I would never recommend using this company Home Depot AT ALL. Even though I have spent thousands of dollars here for my business. They delivered us a dented brand new Samsung refrigerator June 12, 2021 (at my home bought by R.P. Spencer) that we paid $3000.00 for. Delivery guy Datwan was horrible. (Tay was ok.) Home Depot agreed to deliver either NEW door or NEW refrigerator asap. They could NOT make it happen within 2 weeks before we would be gone for a month. We got back yesterday, as we told them we would the DAY they delivered damaged refrigerator. Now they are keeping us on hold for HOURS and transferring us from person to person--and then HANGING UP on us--rather than make delivery and make this right. Clearly they do NOT care about customer service. I was going to buy 3 appliances from them this month. NO WAY is that ever happening now. HOME DEPOT: PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS.

Do not buy an appliance from them. If it breaks and you call to get a referral for someone to repair (even if you let them know you are willing to pay) they refuse to help you unless you purchased their service agreement. Actual quote from HD Employee our contracted repair service can only repair if you purchased a service agreement from us, they cannot service your unit even if you are willing to pay if you did not???? Called Lowes and they actually contacted someone for us...lesson learned!

Store was packed but no issue with anything. We got help when young dark haired tall man directed us to location of our items in the Garden area. Restroom clean and checkout woman pleasant. We sometimes drive one hour to shop here.

Whenever you purchase wheat straw or pine straw no one shows up to open the truck for you to pick it up unless you call back to the store or walk back into the store to wake up an employee.

I have been to several Home Depots in my life. The one in Tuscaloosa is the best by far. Every aisle had friendly employees ready and willing to help. We bought the materials necessary to build new deck steps and the risers they had in stock had a few issues so the guy literally pulled fresh pieces of lumber and cut them for us! This will be the only store we go to in the future.

Though I absolutely hate self checkout, associate Matthew went out of his way to help me find all I needed. Matthew is the reason for 5 stars.....no other associate offered to help...not even the self checkout person.

I was interested in gardening and plants. Lowes was closed that day for Easter so thats how I ended up at Home Depot. Their plants were healthy but there wasnt much to pick from. They have a small garden center and I think they could expand it and do well. I found some plants that would do for my project and bought them. The associate at the register was friendly and helpful.

Other than your basic Maam can I help you? [From associates and random shoppers you dont know] Home Depot generally has everything I need and checkout is simple and so is the return process.

Got a bunch of outdoor stuff today. A little disappointed with the lack of help. Prolonged my trip by 20 minutes.

Waited for over 15 minutes in lumber department and nobody still showed up...sighWaited another 15 minutes, they see us but just chose to ignore that we were waiting.Went talked to customer service, no response, we waited another 10...goodness.

Getting ready to install cabinets and carpet in a home im remodeling...when I tried to get help with the cabinet purchase the Latino lady made me feel like she didnt want to help me.. granted my close were a little dirty.. she made me fell unworthy of her help in Tuscaloosa..Get treated better at lowes...spent my 15,000 there

I went to the outside garden, looking for a leaf rake. I saw a product, but not what I wanted. I asked a cashier if that product was all hoemdepot sold. I was told yeah. I went through the inside store and found the rake I was looking for. Better employee training please.

WiFi never works. Get on it! I want to be able to look up products, find bay bay and aisles ...without it I keep having to flag down employees

Waited at the key making station for 20 minutes... Asked 2 different employees to page for help but nobody came. It wasnt very busy, but I ended up leaving and getting my key made somewhere else. Very disappointed.

I always laughed at the idea of enjoying walking through a hardware store, but the cleanliness and open floors of this store make me very happy.

Very quiet. Clean. Had a good supply of Christmas trees reasonably priced. Lots of lights. Not many ornaments. Assortment of iflatables. Friendly, helpful Cashier.

Poor customer service (especially the return desk),Its like nobody wants to help you our greet you when you walk in the store.

In and out fairly quickly. Prices were fair.

Around half the shoppers were not masked. In fact, while in line a guy kept getting too close to me. I told him I am immunocompromised and asked him to give me a little space. He launched into an anti-mask tirade. While I was checking out, he sneaked behind me to get a drink from the cooler and coughed on me! I told the manager, but there was nothing she was allowed to do.

Good selection of indoor-outdoor plants, perennials, annuals, floral and vegetable plants, shrubbery, succulents, concealment species with a selection of gardening, yard and botanical equipment and supplies. Pleasant, helpful staff. You should also see the inside of the store too. Carpentry and home maintenance stuff galore as well as appliances. Look for the veterans parking spot.

Went to get replacement keys. The salesperson did a good and quick job replacing my key. I was pleased.

The staff that we talked to wasnt very knowledgeable about the piece I needed. And he didnt even say anything about finding somebody for us that did know something about what we were looking for. So, he was the only one who asked if we needed any help.

Store was crowded but lines moved fast. I ordered and paid online. Curbside pickup sucked. I was told that the request didnt go through. Evidently nobodys did because everyone had to go in to get their merchandise. I sent the request 3 times.

Hedy was our cashier. She was very helpful, and a wonderful person to be around. She was a blessing to all that were in and out of there! I really appreciated her!

I love going here. They have some neat stuff you dont find elsewhere.

Great selection, reasonably fair prices, veterans discount. I dislike that you cannot use the veterans discount online like Lowes.
