My catalytic converter needed to be replaced last year in July. I brought my car to this company to fix. They told me I needed to replace the up stream oxygen sensor. By the end of January, my check engine light was back on for the same thing (catalytic converter). I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a poor part. I brought it back. They claimed it was fixed. My engine light came back on (for the third time), and I brought it back. They called and told me the code was for the passenger side and not the side they fixed, and I needed to speak to the mechanic who fixed my catalytic converter on the passenger side a week prior. By the time I made it back, John (the owner) said they made a mistake and it was actually the side they supposedly fixed. When I went to pick it up, a mechanic told me the engine light came back on and there were some things that needed to be fixed...my O2 sensor down stream, upper intake manifold gasket, and spark plugs for a total of $700. I purchased everything. When I started to replace my spark plugs and upper intake manifold gasket, I found no concerns. They both looked great. I looked under the car to see where the O2 sensor is located, and saw my O2 sensor was left unplugged. I plugged it in, and my engine light turned off. I went back to them to speak to the owner and the mechanic that worked on my car. I asked the mechanic if he was competent and thorough with his job, to which he replied yes. Then I proceed to tell him I caught what you did and took a picture of it. I told him I knew he did that on purpose to get an extra $700 out of me. He attempted to say it was an accident, but the proof was too apparent. I will not be back. If anyone decides to do business with them, please be careful and be able to verify what is worked on was done properly. I will avoid them and I urge anyone else to do the same.

So, I just wanted to thank the entire team here at Triple A. They were all a complete blessing to our family today.My parents travel to and from Dallas tx weekly from Lafayette, La an 800 mile round trip. This week was especially difficult as they were gone a day longer than expected. My father noticed coolant smell from their jeep and immediately brought the vehicle to this place. Within a matter of hours they were up and running again!The owner of the business even took it upon himself to personally bring them to a Starbucks nearby so that they wouldnt have to endure being at the shop the entire time and they could relax. They rushed the part (radiator) and fit them in for urgent repair. After testing the repair and picking my parents up from Starbucks and paying for repair they were on the interstate.THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUHundreds of dollars were saved and a night in a hotel was avoided because of professional, quick action by the team here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Got caught in a flash flood, but car got some water up in the engine, so took it here. Caleb was the guy dealing with my car, he listened, checked it, showed me some other things he found wrong, and we got a plan to fix it and got it done. Car drives great, and with the issue fixed, I dont have that loud noise in my right ear. Also Rhonda is great and swift with the paper work. Been taking my car here for years, only ever had one bad time with a mechanic. 99% of the time, this place is awesome.

Parking: small parking lot but mechanics are very helpful with their space. They are run now by their owner. The owner is a nice guy with upfront prices. He will show you what’s wrong, cost of parts and service ahead of any repairs. His prices are very competitive. Took 1 star because the time takes them to repair. He does have a lot of work because they do an excellent job. Covid-19 not followed but understand Texas is super hot and they work with no AC

I got quoted 30 dollars cheaper than a muffler shop in mesquite, and instead of cheap glasspacks, John hooked it up with a flowmaster 40. Watched him do the whole thang, man is A1 at his trade. Will def be looking into some more work from them. Appreciate it

This is the best exhaust and engine repair Ive experienced in a long time. Service was great, staff is very informative and friendly. They do everything, brakes, steering, AC, suspension, inspections, pretty much full service. I would recommend Tripple A to anyone in need of any type of automotive repair. From the owner to the certified technicians these guys are honest and all very knowledgeable! They treated me with respect above and beyond any shop I have been to before! The name of the shop is a bit deceiving they do almost all aspects of auto and truck repair with the exception of diesel engines. I took in my 2009 Scion X-B with bad front hub bearings at 277,000 miles and they got everything done within a few hours of dropping the car off! The car was left clean of any grease or smudge marks and the mechanics stay fairly clean too! I also could not find a ride to pick up my car from Wills Point and the owner came to get me personally! Who does that anymore!? Thank you for getting me back on the road so quickly and for the friendly and professional service! If you ever need to send your wife or daughter to a repair shop and dont want them to get ripped off or mistreated this is the shop to send them to!

Its truly hard to find an honest and knowledgeable mechanic. They are upfront with costs & solutions. This is always my first choice auto shop to take my vehicles.

After paying all we had to attempt to fix a fuel issue nothing changed in our car. They gave it back to us without putting air in the tires leaving us with 9psi in one tire and 14psi in another. A mechanic is someone you have to be able to trust, and not putting parts back on a car especially if it is a cover under the car only leaves me to wonder what else was not properly inspected or restored. The lack of attention to even Minor details is past lazy and is less than what I would expect from someone freshly out of school.

Worst brake job ever. They screwed everything up, cost me two days of vacation time because they ordered the wrong parts, spilled brake fluid all over my wheels and ruining them. Guy at the front was great, guy doing the brakes was drunk and incompetent. Brakes still shimmy and have problems after all the money I spent with them.They saw an older woman and took advantage of me.

Trusted this place to the work . I heard some decent things from when there was another partner , but since that guy left it seems have gone hill in quality . Customer help. The guy at the counter was great. And staff seemed nice but when it came down to. They were changin some parts on my car and broke another and said it’s not there fault, well thy refuse to fix the broken part and tried to give me a partial refund . But it still won’t fix the part I had to fix my self. DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!! They will screw you over !!!!!

Got the mufflers and resonators on my mustang taken off And these guys did a good job! Didnt like the way it sat at first and they fixed the problem for me no questions asked!

My father in law took his truck to be inspected,they said it failed and he told them to go ahead and fix it.This was Thursday evening when he left his truck there.My mother in law called Friday morning to ask if they had fixed the truck yet,they told her that the problem was a miss fire of the #3 cylinder and that it would cost $880.00 to fix.Now in my opinion this is way too much,but they told them to go ahead.They told her that the truck would not be fixed until later because they had other clients that came in that morning.I assume these people where more important than my father in law is.They finally called my mother in law at 5:00 and told her that they truck was ready to be picked up but they had to wait until the morning because they close at 5:00.I called to see if they would stay open for ten minutes so me and my wife could pick up the truck so my father in law could drive it the recommended time to reset the computer.We rushed up there and when we got there they said the truck was not ready and that now the #5 cylinder was missing.So,for $880.00 so far the only thing they have done is waste time and my father in laws money.I would not recommend this shop anymore.They used to be one of the best and now in my opinion have become greedy and slow.
