Purchased a glock 19 gen 5 on Tuesday with a lady who was really helpful and patient. Came to pick it up just now, weekend crew not so helpful and patient. I am new to guns in general but in the last 6 months have purchased 5 guns and I ask the questions not to waste time but because I want the feed back and to learn what’s what. Per my account I dont do reviews often. You could say im rather hard to please especially when it comes to a gun store, this is the only OTHER gun store im leaving a good review on. I purchased a Glock 48 MOS and red dot here with no issues, I have been coming here since then and love it.The customer service here is unmatched. The staff is DIVERSE something you will hardly ever come across in most shops, theres AR guys AK guys, a employee a younger gentleman helped me pick out a blue alphagear sling for my AK, the gunsmith helpmed diagnose feeding issues with my Vietnam era M1 30 carbine - just come here the people are friendly the merchandise now that inventory is caught up is there!

These guys have been really great to work with. Recently inventories have been low everywhere, but theyve done a pretty good job keeping things in stock. They have also been really good about processing transfers from third-party sales. The staff is friendly and the shop is nice.

These guys have been great on all the occasions Ive been there.Its great to see younger guys and girls like myself working in a gun shop as compared to the average shop around the valley exclusively manned by grumpy old fudds who wont take a second look at younger clientele unless its to give a condescending remark. The staff is always in high spirits, and Im yet to go in and leave without a laugh and a smileTheir prices are fair, while not necessarily the best you can find on the internet, you can hold the product in your hand, and avoid shipping costs and at least know you arent being ripped off. Theyve twice allowed me to try products I was interested in out on my own firearms before I purchased them,which saved me from buying a holster that only barely didnt fit my derringer.Youve earned a lifelong customer and will be getting every bit of buisiness I can send you.

UPDATE: had a email conversation with the Owner and got everything cleared up. I will say the responsiveness was impressive, and the issue with the ffl fee was resolved(a miscommunication in house) and apparently I missed the call for the lower.Changed my rating due to the overall responsiveness and clear communication from the owner. I Will continue to recommend alphadog , as I have done in the past.Just came home from there, and had a surprisingly bad experience. Here is the whole list of issues.1. Had receiver delivered to them, I was never Contacted about it being delivered. Not a deal breaker. Just a minor inconvenience. Ive probably done 5-10 transfers with them in the last couple of years, and this was a first.2. I generally cannot come in on weekdays to shop these days, so I generally do it on the weekends. I went to pick up the parts, I was told that the fee would be $50, instead of $30 due to The girl who checks them in not working on the weekends. I explained that it had been delivered earlier in the week, but was told it would still be $50. The person was obviously uninterested in helping, so I left.So, if you want to be disregarded, and have a person blow you off due to not wanting to do paperwork, apparently Alpha dog is the place to go. Id recommend spending your money else where.

The guys here are great! Super friendly and know their stuff. Store has a great selection given our current circumstances. They post hot items on their IG so you know when certain, hard to find items are in stock. They do raffles to give back to the community which is always awesome!!!

I am usually in support of all veteran owned businesses and was more than happy to support this business even though it was located 36 miles away from me. It also helped to know that they were offering a great price on some pre-order 9mm ammo. Being how ammo is these days I wanted to take advantage of the ammo availability even if I had to wait 2 weeks. I contacted the stores general manager to ensure availability, pricing, and finally placed my order. I was surprised two weeks later when I arrived at the store that they charged an additional surcharge of $10 per box of ammo (I ordered 10). This was something that was not listed, displayed, or otherwise mentioned in any communication, invoice, and or the add. They told me that I had the option to return my order at a $10 per box restocking fee if I was not okay with this purchase. I spoke with the General Manager (Scott) and was told I have 2 options: return my purchase and pay a $100 restock fee or pay the $100 surcharge and complete my purchase. I was also informed and to no surprise of mine, that I was not the only customer to express their anger and disagreement with the additional fees. There shouldnt be a company or store that takes advantage of their customer this way - hidden cost, up charging, or exploiting their customers is unethical business practice and just down right wrong. You should be ashamed of calling yourself a veteran owned company then exploiting your veteran customer base by adding hidden cost to their purchase without informing them. Please if you are thinking of purchasing anything from this company do your homework first, as they are perform questionable business practices. I was even offered a 5% discount on any future store purchase. I for one will not give any future business to anyone who tries to exploit their customers.

Been following Alpha Dog Firearms for quite some time and I put a few things together:Its a veteran owned store yet there has never been a veteran owner. Last I found, the owner was a guy named Matt who never served his country a day in his life.They have a charity thats called Alpha Dog 6 that raffles off firearms for homeless veterans and there has never been proof that a homeless veteran was helped. During COVID he claimed that he was going to feed first responders and held TWO raffles but the first responders were never fed.Hes currently raffling off a Barrett 50 caliber rifle and is selling 500 tickets for $50.00 a piece which is a grand total of 25,000 dollars. He raffled off a Barrett around the same time year and a certain someone won the raffle then donated the Barrett back to the store. Super interesting that it flew off the shelf so quickly at full price afterwards.In the state of Arizona you cannot raffle anything off unless it goes to a cause.If you want to support a man who uses veterans to make a profit go ahead but shop at your own risk...Stolen valor is a thing yall beware.

Aiden was wonderful in walking me through essentially their entire inventory, as a complete novice, with quality information without being condescending and made insightful recommendations. I notoriously have had suboptimal retail and services experiences, even my friends were astonished that I was treated so well at a firearm store. They are efficient and do not waste time, but are not rushed, even when busy. It is a true approach to quality and quantity. I think they are experienced salesmen and experts regarding firearms. They made the process easy and stress free. I really appreciate it and I would be happy to patronize them for anything I could in the future.

Low selection, even before the pandemic. Younger staff member was giving wrong information about a particular firearm. Also charging insane prices for Chinese SKS’s with missing parts.

Went in to ask some questions and look at some handguns being a first time buyer I had several questions. Josh helped me out he was very friendly, and patient even asked him some questions over he never once got irritated, he recommended a few for me to look at. I liked that me being new to guns he made me feel at ease and comfortable, all the employees had a great attitude. I will definitely be making all of my purchases at Alpha Dog Firearms. I live close to 4 other gun stores but will make the drive to come here.

Just moved to the Valley from Yuma and decided to stop in at the closest gun shop.These guys told me to go back to Yuma, some names, complimented my facial hair,, then offered me some Black Rifle Coffee, these guys are some top lads with spicy banter and are extremely knowledgeable. Left with a couple odds and ends for my AR, perused their handgun selection and then left with what I needed.I will absolutely be back, this place is my new spot!

Tony and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. They helped me with my AR. Was minor but they did not charge me. I in turn showed my appreciation by buying needed items from them instead of somewhere else because of the their professionalism, help, and respect they showed to ALL the customers that were in their store while I was there.

Lots of ammo selections, plenty of firearm selections, decent amount of AR parts, nice store layout, nice MagPul wall, decent magazine selection for many common firearm, bulk ammo is plentiful, good ammo prices (especially for the current situation), and helpful staff. Out of all the helpful employees, Silas is the man when it comes to customer service, helpful knowledge, and making sure the customer is taken care of in the right way. Little things like that really make it feel like THE local gun store that I always want to come back to and patronize.

I liked the people here. But, they had no Remington shotgun accessories. They had Mossberg parts. So they lose 1 star. You should sell Remington accessories.

Waited around 20 minutes in heat during covid. While looking inside, there were about 3-4, if not more employees inside helping 2 people that were standing around talking. More and more were waiting outside. What happened when those 2 customers left? They bought nothing! left with nothing! So thanks for that. When inside I stood near the check out to show I needed to be helped. It took a while to get noticed even there. But while I was waiting, I heard one employee say something very directly disrespectful about me to another. The other looked at me briefly both laughing. I decided to keep quiet because if not what do I get out of it? I was not even shown the gun I picked up. I was not offered any ammo but wanted to ask for some but before I could the guy said have a good day and basically ran from the desk to the back... I wasn’t going to write anything for review because I noticed the owner responding is and NEVER can be wrong. So go ahead, blame me somehow for this behavior...

Buyer beware. ADF attempts to sell firearms which theyve labeled as AVAILABLE, but do not have in stock. Upon notifying the customer, theyll offer a backorder status, store credit, or incur a 25% restocking fee. You cant restock what youve never had, which makes this look like a bait-&-switch tactic to entrap customers. Even to this day, theyre still advertising the firearm which I attempted to purchase on both Armslist and their own website. It took the threat of fraud claims and legal action for me to receive a full refund.

Staff was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about firearms, specifically Aiden. I have been to a handful of other firearm shops and this shop by far had the best service. Once the pandemic is over, I plan to purchase another weapon from this shop when their stock is more full.

In the current state of Covid-19 we try to support local businesses. With that said, I purchased some accessories a week ago and unfortunately someone mixed in AK parts in with the AR stuff. No . I understand that I share in the mix up here by not double checking. The issue that I have is that a business wants my support but cant take 30 seconds to exchange the right part. They insist on waiting in the line for an hour to make the exchange. For the $20 for the part,, Ill toss it and order online. I forgot to mention they have 4 people working inside and will only take 1 customer at a time...

I’m American down to the artery clogging cholesterol in my bones, and when I heard of a mom and pops shop that served both my countries needs for firearms and coffee, I thought it was too good to be true. So I checked it out myself, and like the first site of an apple pie, I was in love. This place is just awesome, and screams 2nd amendment, which I love. Place has an wonderful selection, with prices that makes you feel like your stealing. Great representatives as well, just absolute adored the young gentleman, by the name of Silas. He’s the go to man.

Had an excellent experience here buying a daily carry pistol for my wife for Christmas. I cam in unsure of what I wanted and after explaining my requirements to (I cant remember his name, great beard though!!) he patiently walked me through the options and made recommendations based on my needs. Recently purchased an AK from here, very good experience, very happy with my purchase and GREAT price. I had checked a few other stores in the area and saved around 100 dollars by getting it here. When I first came in they were a little busy with a few people ahead of us, but the lady there was extremely nice, helped everyone out and answered all my questions. Very polite and she didn’t have that “I work at a gun shop and I’m better than you” attitude. I have been searching for a gun shop to go to for future purchases and I have found one in Alpha dog. While the selection wasn’t ginormous or anything it was all very high quality, I would be amazed if you could not find what you’re looking for . I highly recommend this place to anyone reading this, and it will be the first shop I tell my friends about.

I lucked up finding a place right to the house, and meeting a dope sales guy name Silas , helped me get my holster game right and told me about all of the crazy deals they had going on. Now I go in there on a couple times month and he stills gives me A1 services and remember me and things I have mention. Very impressed with this place, vs other places they forget you.

I went in here to purchase my first firearm. They were extremely helpful when helping me decide what I should get for a good concealed carry. I later went back to purchase an AR and Silas helped me out a lot. He took the time to explain the differences between the different options between the ARs. Along with that he went in depth with how the gun feels to fire and the different modifications I could do to the rifle. Top tier service from this place. Only place I’ll go.

Alpha dog fire arms is an awesome local gun shop. They have a wide variety of guns and accessories. The owner mat is a super knowledgable helpful dude. The store really caters to ex military and current military but done let the vibe or culture deter you. They carry good stuff with solid prices. Gun stores get a bad rap for being rude but i wish people understood the stuff employees have to deal with on a daily basis. A lot of rude people and scum come through the doors in gun shops everyday. regardless this is an awesome gun store!

This gun store is very irresponsible! They care way more about making money and political points than being a respectable business in the community. Matt gives responsible gun store owners a bad name by offering ridiculous sale prices on a very dangerous gun just to make an immature political point? People like Matt should get lock up for supplying a dangerous amount of very impractical dangerous guns, to people that clearly arent using them for reasonable purposes! Im a gun person. I have many family members that go hunting regularly. We also have guns for protection. But the type of people that typically buy these types of guns are not buying them for hunting or protection, theyre preparing for a war. Because of Matts stunt here, Im now going to start fighting for tighter gun restrictions in Arizona. Because apparently people like Matt arent responsible enough on their own. Apparently they need the government to force them to be more responsible.

Very impressed with the staff and store. I went in to check in on a possible purchase and ended up spending $400 on a much better deal. They recently opened up a coffee shop called Dont Tread on Beans; and their beans are from Black Rifle Coffee Company. Their coffee is the best! Definitely recommend to try the coffee there!They have ARs, shotguns, revolvers, handguns, and so much more! If they dont have the one you want, theyll order it online for you too! So a lot of options there!

Im over the moon because of these guys. They sent me a firearm at no cost to me. A few weeks ago when they reduced the price on their AR15s so every American could afford one, I commented saying not every American could afford one still. I said that I was a single mom of 5, and I couldn’t afford it still but that I would spread the word. I got into a discussion with others about why Im single (domestic violence), what I should purchase when I could, and all that jazz. Alpha Dog Firearms replied to me and said to email them my local FFL and they would send me a firearm. Im now the proud owner of a Taurus G2S in a pretty teal color. Brand new too! Because I have no job (for several reasons), as well as no vehicle, this would have taken me a long time to purchase. I was concerned for my kids’ protection, since its just us most days, and now I dont have to worry as much. Im not sure about prices, other than when they reduced their ARs, but I recommend shopping here based on their integrity and care. Also, one last note, even though they were bombarded with sales and super busy, it only took them about a week or so to get it to me. Mailed on Monday, received on Wednesday.
