I went to try and get my exhaust repaired and he found the part and said he’d only charge me $5, but when I tried to pay with card he said wouldn’t take card for it and just went back inside and paid me no attention.

James does a great job and normally he can get you in and out fairly quickly. It all depends what he has already committed to before you pull in. As with anything, when you are fixing something there might be an unexpected surprise you find as you take the engine apart. Everytime we have taking one of our vehicles in, he has shown us the part that he has replaced. Not that means anything to me but it does to my husband (wear on part, etc.). Ive always found him very personable and we have recommended him to friends and family.

Their work is good but their prices are highly inflated. If money isnt an issue with you at all, youll be fine, but if you live on a budget or have any issues with being charged over twice retail cost on parts, you should probably go somewhere else.

Phone service turned me off to even trying. One word answers yep nope. Wouldnt give information on price or time frame. Not very reassuring to want to trust them and you have to trust your mechanic.

Took my car there simply b/c it was closest to my house. My belt had come off and I, and my mechanic neighbor, suspected one of the pulleys had locked up. James took a look, put the belt back on, determined that there was nothing wrong and that it was just one of those things that can happen. Charged me only $30. Had me in and out in about 2 hours. I appreciated that! He couldve really taken advantage of the situation, but didnt. Next time we need repairs, were going there first!

I recently had a vehicle fixed at Boulevard Automotive and was HIGHLY dissatisfied! They charge an unreasonable amount just to look at the vehicle to see what is wrong with it and then say they will cut that fee in half if and only IF you choose to have them fix it. We ended up having our car fixed there and asked if while they had the car and were already looking at it if they could look at another problem with the car and let us know how much it would cost to fix it. They again charged us to look at the other problem. They never called to let us know we were going to be charged again just to look at something when they were already working on the car. They never called us to tell us how much it would cost to fix the problem. When we went to pick it up we had an additional unexpected charge on an already OUTRAGEOUS price for a few spark plugs, wires and a thermostat cap open. When confronted about this charge they claimed we were very well aware of this charge to look at it and knew if we had it fixed with them they would cut the $75 looking at fee in half. I was NOT aware we would be charged AGAIN!!! They already had the car opened and being fixed. They also took a VERY long time to fix the car. We had to call MULTIPLE times to see if it was fixed. It took TWO whole days to fix a few spark plugs and wires and a thermostat cap. My family works full time and we have a very young child. Plus our brother just had a baby and we had to help with that. I am very disappointed that we were treated so poorly and charged so much. I do not recommend this business for ANYTHING dealing with your car. Look somewhere else and make sure they wont try and squeeze in any unexpected charges you are unaware of!
