I visited this store today to buy an extremely large quantity of pomegranates. After paying a great deal for them, I drove the 2 hours to my store in Orlando. Upon opening the pomegranates, half of them were completely rotted. When I called the store they were completely inconsiderate and disrespectful. Only after explaining my situation several times did they offer to refund me but only if I brought back the rotted pomegranates. They refused to work with me and be considerate of my time and distance situation.

Worth the trip no matter where in the surrounding area you are. Fresh produce, variety of Indian goods and friendly and helpful store personnel. We’ve tried stores closer to where we stay but its really better just to head to Patel Brothers and get everything. Thumbs up !

Patel brothers is one of my favorite grocery store in Atlanta, GA. Love their loose snacks varieties, varieties of Indian vegetables, Indian groceries, masalas, and quality products. Clean and well maintained store.Surprised to see so much varieties on frozen food and parathas. Frozen fish varieties are the best of all. I don’t get these in Seattle Indian grocery stores.Patel brothers should open couple of branches in Seattle, Washington locations.

A no-brainer if youre cooking Indian food. Great selection of raw ingredients, and a robust assortment of pre-prepared foods (e.g. samosas, chutneys). The produce is noticeably cheaper than traditional grocery stores, but I wouldnt say the selection is as wide. The spices are sold in large quantities but are affordable. Ive gotten a lot of help from fellow shoppers when stuck on what to buy and/or how to use a particular item. The shopping experience is a bit like a mini-trip to India. I always enjoy it.

Hidden gem. Its crowded enough as it is I almost dont want it to get busier but... I can walk out with several bags of fresh vegetables for under $20. Plus I get my rice, nuts and spices there. If youre a foodie who likes experimenting with cooking at home its a must. If youve always wanted to go to India but dont want to pay for a plane ticket... visit Patels!

I really enjoy shopping here. Theres a great selection of Indian herbs, treats, frozen goods, Ayurvedic supplies, and real incense. I love that theres fresh ginger & turmeric. I always have a pleasant experience and the prices are reasonable.

I love this place. The produce is always high quality and better prices than other grocery stores. They have an amazing selection of frozen Indian food, especially truly vegetarian foods. And the spice and tea sections are amazing - excellent quality and a huge variety. Finding European chocolate at the checkout is always a nice touch.

After moving to Florida from NJ, the only thing i miss is the huge Indian Grocery Stores nearby.So we thought of visiting Patel Brothers, planning on buying more Indian Groceries.Definitely much more variety than the indian stores in St petes. I could see pretty much everything I required for that week or so.Their staff was efficiently managing keeping things organizedand all tidy up. The checkout staff was pretty quick too.The store is a tad bit small as the people with carts moving in every isle makes it a bit harder to move through swiftly and looks rather crowded, especially during weekends.Checkout the pictures for more.

Dont go here often but always seem to find what I need when I do shop here. They have an excellent selection of nuts.

Everything thing was great until I went to pay for my stuff. These two women that was the cashier and the bagger looked at me and started laughing. They did that the last time. I dont know what theyre problem is while they were laughing at me my skin was way lighter then theirs they were trying to act like they were better than me ok whatever they make the whole culture look bad . I talked to the assistant manager and she was nice. Those two other women that wanted to laugh were disgusting. Those two that was laughing at me need to invest in some ayurveda beauty products because they were both in need of beauty treatments . They looked like nine miles of bad road.

Saturday morning busy, bustling market (but theres nothing you could want that they dont have); and truly broad spectrum frozen, nice veg, efficient cashiers. If you can find a Patel Bros, youve found everything Indian cooking needs!

But, most of all was how friendly and helpful they were. I will go there for all my Indian Cooking needs, from now on. .

It is one of the best Indian grocery stores in Tampa for the fresh veg and decent hygiene conditions. Given its reputation, I was disappointed to see that some of their Gingelly oil bottle especially SWAD brand gets spoiled even before the expiry date printed on the bottle. I have returned the unused bottle and they were not ready to talk about it since I didn’t have the receipt and it’s my fault not keeping the receipt. Giving this low rating for the SWAD gingelly products and their attitude towards not discussing the issue.

Get fresh vegetables most of the time.Aisles are a little congested due to small space.They definitely need a bigger place.

This is my only place to purchase a wide selection of my Indian foods including frozen meals, snack food, spices, and fresh produce found only in Indian cuisine. My favorites include their variety of samosas, sauces and banana pepper chips, which are addicting. Prices are also very reasonable. Be prepared for lots of people shopping no matter what time you visit. Despite that, I enjoy the shopping experience very much.

Ive been going to this store for years. Last 3 times have been a total disappointment.They have increased the price for most items. My last visit I bought 4 packs of different snacks that I bought here last trip were sold expired. Shamless. I shouldve looked before buying though. But, they should not be allowed to sell expired items.This place is so far that its a pain to drive back just to get them exchanged.Last to last trip I bought a box of mangoes that was suppose to have 20 or so in it. But, 6 mangoes were missing. I called after reaching home & they refused to refund the money saying next time youre here just let us know. I go to this place once in 2-3 months. Used to rather. Wont be dealing with them anymore.

I love Indian Food and decided to try making some on my own so visited Patel Brothers to obtain the spices and other ingredients I needed. It was a cultural experience in itself and I was also pleasantly surprised with their wonderful selection of fresh produce. Great break from Publix & Winn Dixie!

Aisle after aisle of Indian/Pakistani food! Fresh fruits and vegetables are offered, many of which are not available in American supermarkets, but which complete your curry or other Indian meal. Prices are very reasonable. Aisles are a little narrow because there are always so many shoppers! No fresh meat or fish.

Always seems to be completely packed, and Ill tell you why. They have the best overall selection of ethnic foods and supplies out of anywhere local I know of personally. Youll definitely end up finding stuff you didnt even know you wanted here. Veggies are always fresh and excellent. Spices are widely varied. Lines move quickly even at peak hours.

Great indian grocery, we travel about 65 miles round trip to stock up on the rice & various spices my wife needs for all the curries we love.

I was looking for an item at this location but noticed that the shelf was empty. I saw two employees working down the isle so I approached them and asked them if there was this item in stock, they immediately said that I needed to go to the cashier at the front register. I then tried to ask if they maybe had it in stock in the back or if they could order it but they both looked at each other and walked away into the employees office without answering me and never returned. I walked to the front to ask her the question, she looked at me with a frown on her face and appeared to be irritated by my question. She then turned to another employee next to her and had to push her to help me look for that item. All six employees were extremely rude and treated me awful. I will NEVER do any business at any of these stores and recommend that no one shops there until the owner teaches their employees respect.
