Good Indian grocery store. Lots of choices.

I purchase ingredients for soap making and beard grooming products and they have variety of spices and powders of spices.I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not of their culture that they don’t speak or help you.I want to find another place similar with more hospitality due to patronizing your means to live.

My preference had always been Patel over house of spices from quality standpoint..over the very marginal cost difference that you may see merely exist at times..reason being, historically they have a very bad practice of mixing rotten produce along with fresh produce which was supposed to thrown off or discarded.. the only time you can buy okay kind of produce is on the weekend, but make sure you are diligent enough to pick the right ones..we bought ready made grand sweets paste and also found it was expired way long back.. today I found this when my daughter grabbed some bar to chew see the attached picture.. I feel these are not incidental but I am getting to feel being done purposely.. and I also hate the rude behavior of management while I love those staffs..I must also say we like the 10% discount on Monday on grocery

I was here with my family to buy some Indian condiments from this store. There are couple of more stores like this in the same area and also few Indian restaurants. This store is quite big, well organized and you get practically everything which is Indian. Vegetables, fruits spices, frozen food, sweets ice cream and what not. We got everything we wanted. They store some over the counter Ayurveda medicines as well. All famous brands of spices are available. Cashier is very rude though. Other staff is also like who cares..! Next ddor is Patel Indian grocery store as well.

It is just like any other Indian store in the USA. You can get all kinds of frozen snacks, sweets and Indian curries.Rare Indian vegetables also found here including bitterguard (Karela).

This place have Indian and other spices and other grocery that I need. Prices are competitive !

Well arranged and well organized, courteous, knowledgeable and smily staff.

One of the two big Indian Grocery stores in Tampa. It has nearly everything which is needed in cooking Indian food. Which many snacks and other Indian grocery stuff. Life of Indians wouldnt have been this comfortable without these guys. A big thanks to them!

It’s just 3 minutes drive from Patel Brothers market. You can find a lot of North and South Indian dishes. Pav Baji stands first among the dishes.

The place is still under construction (maybe expanding). The aisles are not clearly marked. The prices of most of the items were marked. Wide variety of rice types available. Staff members were not very helpful. Improbable place.

I absolutely love this place more than Patel brothers due to friendly staff I am not Indian but I like to shop at Indian stores for foods and Poja items. This stores never looks at me crazy when I walk in...nice and welcoming with even helping me find what I’m looking for the cashiers at front are very friendly the store is ALWAYS clean. Hands down my favorite store in the area

Definitely fresher vegetables than Patel Brothers in Tampa. Prices are fair and staff is helpful.

I would like to give the Owner -10 star if I can, VERY RUDE PERSON ! , follows you everywhere like you are going to steal something !. Will not let you touch anything if you are not going to buy it !. Love the staff and the Laxmi Brand but please get rid of the owner , or lock him up in the back !. Business is about repeat clients, they will not come back if he is rude like this all the time.

All Indian herbs, spices and food items available here for a comparatively better price!! On Mondays you will get a flat 10% discount on your entire purchase. On other days, you can use the membership rewards card for your purchases to accumulate the rewards and get benefits.. This is one of the biggest Indian Grocery store in Tampa.. I recommend this store ☝️

Poor on hygiene and cleaning but okay to buy indian grocery

All indian spices are available however prices are little higher than Patel on few items. Aata was cheaper during Diwali deals. Some vegetables were not fresh.

My go to place for Indian grocery in Tampa. Nice and reasonable prices, someone always there to help when I need to find some thing needed and obviously the location is great near the USF and close to lots of Indian and other restaurants

Poor Hygiene and bad customer service.

Its a great place to buy the grocery for Indians. You get all the vegetables, spices, beans, and herbs at a reasonable price. It has a variety of frozen food available and of good brands. The staff was really helpful and friendly, even the cashier she has a jolly personality .

Great variety of Indian spices , lentils , rice and many more things. Its a very good very good place to shop with. Every weekend they come with discount on some selected products so its cheap to buy in weekends. They have various types of mandir and idols of God as well.

Parking is fine. Spices, pulses, flour and rice are at better price always. Vegetables too better and not all the times.Shop atmosphere is not that good as compared to Patels and Apna Bazar. Patels will be small and appears packed with people always.

The employees werent very friendly but there was a great selection! My go to is yellow turmeric (sliced up raw with a little lemon and salt). They also have beautiful and delicious fresh mint. The prices of their produce is very good!

Great collection of foods from all over India. From fresh produce, through grains and flours, to spices, drinks, desserts and snacks. A real treasure trove. In my estimation, the prices are reasonable too. Theres even a frozen food section, also very well stocked.

They have a lot of fresh produce and Indian grocery items. Everything is reasonably priced. I regularly shop here.

Good place to buy Indian groceries...gives student discount like all other places but here you have to tell them that you are student in advance otherwise they will not give discount. Staff behind the counter are not that polite. Thats the only reason for my 4 star. House of spice...you can do better. God bless.

It’s a Good place for Indian Grocery. But, The staff are really rude. They don’t have patience. When it’s nearing closing time around 8:50 pm( 9pm closing time) they treat us as if we’re carrying things without paying.

It is comparatively cheaper than patel by few cents, and has more variety in terms of spices and food.

This is my go-to destination for all the Indian groceries. I have mostly found prices to be reasonable and lots of variety.Update: off late, we have started buying organic stuff from there. The variety is good especially for spices, flour, rice etc.

Decent prices. Nice availability. I like this place for my Indian groceries and vegetables. Also 10% off on most of the items on Mondays is really faultless. I wish they have fresh vegetables stock back up again on Mondays too ..

One of the biggest Indian grocery store in this area. Infact their facility is bigger than the other Indian grocery store in this area, Patel Brothers.However they loose on a 5 rating due to their pricing, most of the spices, lentils etc. are priced a little on the higher side compared to Patel.They could do very well if they offered competitive pricing to their best in class and huge facility.

Clean indian grocery store with wide variety of items

One stop shop for Indian grocery and kitchen stuff. They offer reward program along with 10% off only on Mondays on total amount spent. Only drawback is expiry date. They keep manipulating the actual expiry date of the product. So carefully observe and read the date before buying. Some of the sale items too have this issue. Other than this drawback, store is good, spacious with friendly staff. Enough parking space with some good Indian eateries and clothing stores nearby.

I have bought an Amul ice cream on Nov 3rd 2018. I just noticed today that it was even expired in month of September 2018 before I bought it and found opened seal.Dont get trapped in search of cheap price.Patel brothers sell fresh and quality products.

Please check when you buy stuff here...Though some items seems good but those are not. We bought basmati rice and found worms like in the picture. Bought coconut which is spoiled and rotten. Bought one time frozen parata which is spoiled(For which they Gave alternative). Again please check all the products throughly.

A good store with almost all Indian grocery items. Please check the expiry date of the products before purchasing. Its a must do on visiting this store.

Great selection, prices seem fair.

Store is good and people who work there are helpful. But beware of the ones who are at the cash counters especially the slim, tall lady with spectacles. Very often she manipulates the bill. That happened to me many times with this lady. Recently i purchased cilantro worth 50 cents but she keyed in another item that was worth $2.39 cents. On another day, the carrot price was replaced by mango price. This is not all about money but trust and house of spices fails miserably in providing the trust. I hope the owner is listening!!! or else be prepared to face consequences

Well ...Indian gocery store..with a large collection...wish they had meat or at least some fish.... considering other Indian style grocery its a bit pricey...not very much...but just letting you know..the produce are usually reasonably fresh...but needs consistency ...they have rooms to improve in terms of product diversification...

They need significant improvement in their product quality and customer relations. Low cost Wheat flour is super low quality, don’t even think of buying it just because of the price. Same low quality with all ON SALE items.

Where is health department, need to clean up

Had lot of my favorite brands that are not available in other Indian stores. Im glad they dont promote just one brand. Plenty of options.

Its a good Indian grocery store with veriety of grocery available. It also has the fresh produce like fruits and Indian vegetables.The disadvantage is, it has less options available as compared to Patel bros and sometimes cant match their pricing too.

Good, stock, but not very welcoming of friendly. I feel awkward in this store- not welcomed, but not ignored, and certainly not helped in anyway. I wish it were a better environment and more welcoming- there have a massive stocks of various things to explore, if you can feel comfortable and relaxed being in the store.

So far so good but I havent gone enough to really give it 5 stars but the couple of times everything I wanted was accomplished.

I come here to buy my gram and Multani flour to wash my face all natural. The prices here are too die for. If youre wanting to try this culture of food but dont want to pay crazy prices, this is the place to go and experiment cheap!
