My experience at Visionworks at Citrus Park area was awesome. From the moment I walked in staff were courteous, staff who handle the first part of the eye exam to the doctor who finished the process were just amazing. Andrea the staff member who helped be with the ordering process was knowledgeable courteous and worked with me completely along with very pleasant working with me with what my insurance carrier allow in frames. In a year I will be returning to them for my check up. Can’t say enough about Andrea an her coworker at the time for all the help they extended to me during my visit.

My appointment was for 1:15 PM. At 2:48 I still haven’t had the eye exam completed. The gentleman that did the preliminary stuff was great. The wait time is ridiculous. I am now adding to my review. On top of the unacceptable wait I was given a prescription that was not correct. Since I wasnt coming back I got my glasses somewhere else using the prescription. I got the glasses and my vision was actually worse. I went somewhere else for an eye exam and compared the prescriptions. The prescription for the right lens had a sphere measurement of +.050, the left was -0.25. My new exam has the left lens sphere measurement at +0.25. The name of the Optometrist firm @ Vision works is Elevate Your Existence- what a joke THAT is. Lowering my rating to one stars because I cant give a minus rating or even a zero in order to post this..

My initial contact for setting up an appointment with Evette was amazing. There was a slight issue with my insurance and had to reach out to them to get things situated. I called back the next day and spoke with whom I believe was just the receptionist at the location who advised that someone would call me back. Its been 4 days business days not including the weekends. Extremely disappointed with this location. I will be seeking another eye care specialist for my needs.

Andrea S. helped us and most important than anything she was so patient especially since my husband could not decide on a pair of glasses lol. This vision provider is more concerned about upselling its Customers (I cant say patients as I feel they see us as little more than an income stream) than it is with providing quality service. My daughter and I made the mistake of scheduling an appointment with Visionworks and have been made to regret it ever since. Firstly, they never put my daughter on the schedule. We were then made to feel like cattle being herded into and out of the various rooms. At the end of our appointment we were handed a checklist of all the bells and whistles we were encouraged to pay for.I was not provided an opportunity for a contact fitting that my insurance company offers, but instead was told it would be an added charge. When I sat down to order glasses and contacts, I was told that I had to choose one or the other even though my insurance offers both. It was obvious to me that this company made assumptions about my insturance rather than actually doing the requisite research.When I tried to correct their errors, I was twice told I would recieve a callback and never did. I had to call them to get a resolution which I was ultimately denied.I will never return here and encourage anyone who values good service to make the same pledge.

I normally use a different location but my husband needed contacts ASAP and the location near me would require a 2 week wait. So I booked him an appointment at this location so that he wouldnt have to wait weeks for his contacts. Turns out they had none for him to wear home the day of the appointment. They called a week later saying his trial pair arrived but he could not pick them up. He had to book another appointment and wait 2 more weeks just to try on the trial pair (even though this is the same brand he has used for years). Ive never experienced this after years of going to other locations. Literally a month after booking his appointment, he might get to try a pair of contacts on. If time is of the essence, do not go here!

Went back after years (insurance change) and encountered a very satisfying experience. Told my wife to try them after a disastrous experience with OPtcl Otlt by the food court.She did and became a new customer, as will my daughter. How a business should be run. Carpeted and quiet relaxing place. Observed 67 decimals estimated during our visit. Professional dress and behavior by the staff. Try them.

Went in this place to get contacts I had to go back several times because I couldnt seem to see out of the contacts I had to keep coming back many appointments to try to get the right contacts and to this Day today I still cant see and when I called and told them the girl who answered the phone said she will take my number and call me back and Never called back its been over a month and its frustrating All my friends tell me to STOP GOING TO THE MALL for Contacts or Glasses They are a RIP off Go to a PROFESSIONAL Optometrist..lessened learned...So whoever reads this STAY Away from here they dont care about people eyes they care about your Money They didnt have the decency to call back...

Wife has been trying to obtain her contacts for over a month. Has called the last two weeks and spoken to one of the rudest, most uninformed associate she has ever talked to. She has been given the run around and honestly, its not our fault that the worker has to be there during a pandemic, but that gives her no reason to be mean. All my wife wants is her contacts.Update: Rude woman still works there and had the nerve to say my wifes TRIAL contacts were ready three weeks ago, when we have called every day.DO NOT GO HERE. THERE ARE TWO OTHERS PLACES RIGHT INSIDE THE MALL, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Andrea was an amazing help! I needed lenses moved from one pair of glasses to another. Andrea was able to take care of this on the spot and did it at no charge even though I didnt buy the glasses form them.I had previously gone to my eye doctor and tried to get the same thing done and they turned me away since I didnt buy the glasses from them.

They actually sit down and ask you questions about your use of glasses or sunglasses. I had the great pleasure of being helped by very knowledgeable and patient, Andrea. She made my shopping experience effortless with the amount of detail she gave me describing the warranty and options..I felt so comfortable with my purchase. I came back for a second pair. So definitely shop at a store thats managed right with the right type of people.

Very impressed with this store. The staff greeted me right away and was very helpful in picking out my frames. They were very knowledgeable and provided a great value. The associate took the time to explain the different lens options available and the benefits that they provided.(I actually purchased two pairs of glasses.)The store manager, I think her name was Samantha, even checked in to make sure that I was receiving the proper service. I would highly recommend going to this Vision Works.

We went to the store to make appointment for my mom. Asked if they take her insurance and said “yes” and even made a copy of her insurance card. On appointment day, she checked in and told her that there’s problem with her insurance and she have to pay out of pocket of $135 for eye exam. It’s like a “trap”. Maybe they think since your there already you might just say yes, but why would you pay if you have insurance. Case and point is I have been to many medical offices, first thing they do is verify your insurance ahead of time not on the day of your appointment.

This is a very busy place. Hire more people. I see the same 2 girls working very hard there.

First the 2 office doctor assistant made a very good job showing knowledge , kindness and a great customer service. They have a new doctor and He is very good and I felt very comfortable with the presciption I got. I can see clear and nice. Ladies in retail were very nice helping me to find a very nice glasses and sunglasses. I have always worn glasses and when I get a new prescription It gets a while for me to get used to the prescription and glasses but in this case was the opposite everything was a perfect combination. Had a 5:20 appointment, which I arrived 10 minutes early as requested, yet was not seen till 6:15! Even after informing them I had other appointments. Very inconsiderate of other peoples time. Need to learn how to manage their time because there were others waiting after me. The Doc himself was awesome as well as the staff being friendly.

This place doesnt deserve a single star. I had to wait at the door for them to take the temperature for almost 10 minutes only to be told that they have as a rule to wait only 7 minutes for a customer. You literally have to defy the laws of physics to be served here.

I was referred to this location by family because my girlfriend needed contacts and Im glad I came! Knowledgeable staff got us the best price on contacts and a rebate! Will be back to get her 60% off glasses that only contact wears get! Awesome deal!

I was seen by Dr.Bradley Austin for an Evaluation after having lasik done(still having difficulty seeing) not even one year ago. He quickly diagnosed me and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. I am truly thankful to have been referred here as the Drs and staff were incredible!!!

ORIGINAL: I want to give Dr Austin 5 stars, but the staff 1 star. Picked up 2 pair of glasses earlier this year and both of the new glasses had lens crazing (small cracks all over). Now today I go in just to ask if my contacts are in stock and I was sat at a table for 15 minutes waiting. Its Saturday and your shop is in the mall. Try staffing accordingly. I had to leave as I had other errands to run, so I called and left my info for someone to call me back, waited 3 hours with no return call, so I called back. I was placed on a ridiculous hold. Literally used another phone line, called Target Optical, got helped and had a box of contacts set aside for me to go pick up before anyone came back on the line at Vision Works. Taking business permanently elsewhere. Like this corporate company will even blink...

I had a great experience when I visited this location. Very friendly girls working and they fixed my glasses right away! I usually go to a different optical but next time I will be coming here to purchase my glasses because of the great service and environment I experienced today!

Purchased my glasses 3 weeks ago. I was told by saylee they would take about 10 days to get them since they dont have an in-store lab. They glasses came in on time but the lenses were shaped incorrectly. Have to send back in for them to be fixed. Im not happy. Vicki is very unprofessional when calling to check on the status.

Samantha helped us about 3-4 months ago. My son is 3 1/2 and needed his first pair of glasses. My husband and i dont have glasses so we knew nothing about this process. Samantha went over EVERYTHING from start to finish and it was a breeze! Even sat on the floor with my son trying on frames!!!! My son ended up scratching his lenses this morning, i called Samantha and got new ones ordered within minutes! We are extremely happy with Visionworks and Samantha!!! :o)

I have always had great experiences at Vision Works, they take their time with the exam and I dont feel rushed like at other places Ive been to. Andrea is always very helpful with selecting and fitting youre glasses or contacts. I have referred friends to this location. I recommend this eye glass place.

Had to come back many times to the store to get prescription and sunglasses done (sunglasses still with problem!). They sold me a Ray Ban frame that they do not carry (but said they have it when I paid for) and let me know about 2 weeks later the issue, ended up having to buy the frame at another competitor store at Citrus Mall and bring back to them for the lenses because I liked the frame. Then the lenses of sunglasses did not fit the frame, there was a gap between the lenses and corner of frame (inaccurate cutting, sun rays pass through it). Returned the sunglasses to be fixed, waited another week or so, picked up yesterday (6/7/19), still with the same problem. Really amateur work! Besides the fact of long waiting at the store, which is even worse due to busy lives we all have with work and family. I just wanted some quality work with efficiency, but did not find there, tired of coming back, losing time. Lost so much time already going to the store many times, very frustrating experience. I would never recommend this store to anyone.

The staff is friendly and want everyone to get the best, I went through ten pairs before they helped me decide on a pair of red glasses. I love them they fit my face just right and my personality perfect. Whenever im at that mall Sinai and Jarol are always willing to clean and adjust my glasses.

Great experience. Went there on a Saturday looking for those rubber nose pieces for my Costa glasses. Two young ladies helped me find them and even cleaned them for no charge. Thank you!

Staff members are very inattentive unless you are purchasing glasses. After I purchased my glasses, I brought them back to be adjusted, and I got kicked to the curb for customers who wanted to purchase glasses. Clearly they make commission. There is only one doctor there. I waited months to get in for an appointment. I showed up for my appointment on time at 4:30 pm and didnt see the doctor until 6 pm at which time he was taking care of myself and another patient at the same time so I had long pauses between the times he was in my room. The first script he gave me was wrong because he was basing it off of a script from 4 years ago. Barely did an actual exam. Forgot to dilate my eyes. He and the staff are very unprofessional.

This is the second glasses location that I tried and may I say last. Everyone is so inviting and knowelgable. Very comfortable atmosphere I got two pair of glasses with contacts for the first time !! Theres a lady named Andrea who always helps my family too because she speaks Spanish. She also taught me about the wipes to clean my frames and the problem as to why my old glasses kept looking crooked on my face. Like I said they are very knowelgable!

I have been here a couple of times for my glasses. They are very kind and also have repaired my glasses many times without any issue. I am going to go back for another eye exam soon. They are fast and treat customers right.

This has been my optometrist for about 8 years now. Ive been wearing correctable lenses for nearly 30, and have been to a lot of places in the area. Visionworks is separate from the Drs office. The Visionworks area is layed out on par with its type of store, and the staff is very professional. Ive purchased 3 sets of glasses from them over the years, and not had any complaints. Except for my outstanding ability to fumble around and damage my glasses in the morning. Thats my blindness and morning groggyness, not the glasses fault. A downside is if you have bad refraction, anything worse than -6 means contacts have to be special ordered, but thats fairly par for the course.As for the attached, but separate Dr office, depends on whos at the front desk. The guys that work there tend to be curt and professional, the girls that do, arent. Upside is you have very little interaction with them. Always irks me a bit when they see my prescription and then ask me to do the silly can you see the E test, as no, I cannot. My vision is that bad.Upside to the office though, and the reason I keep going back, is the Doctor himself is superb. He has a good sense of humor, is knowledgeable, and one of those people who remembers everyone. I see him once a year, and he remembered my name on my second visit. For reasons, I routinely see 5 doctors, and he is the best of the bunch. If he decides to leave practice or retire, Ill unhappily go looking for a new place. Until then, Ive recommended this place to quite a few people, and none of them have had a bad experience.I have two nieces who have to wear glasses, and they started seeing him at 10yo, and as for his manner with kids, they were afraid of going in because the word doctor, but they left smiling and happy. Two kids who really hate any medical people, but in the end, their only complaint was getting glasses and afraid of being called four eyes at school. Kids, right?

I love Visionworks and refuse to get my glasses from any one else, they are wonderful and always helpful, when I mushed my glasses they fixed them for free!!!! my whole family comes here and we love them!!! Thank you Visionworks you make us smile.

Never anybody available to answer a phone call there. You end up talking to the doctors office in the same space most of the time. Try to get simple information from them, like your PD (Pupillary Distance), and they scoff and say they cant due to HIPAA reasons and typical B.S. Pricing is misleading as well. Going somewhere else from now on and not playing Vision Works games any longer. Oh, and try contacting their corporate offices, good luck getting any help from them either!

When I first received my new glasses one of the lenses was scratched so bad as if someone dragged it on the floor.Was told a new set would be ready in 40 mins so I gave them till next day. When I came back next day was told it was going to be another week since they did not have the lens in stock.I did not even get a phone call to tell me about the delay, ah, also did not get a call to tell me they were ready 8-days after.Only went to this store since it was the closest home which would accept my insurance but this was my last.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Went in on a Saturday at 4:40. We were told that they no longer help customers at that time. Couldnt believe what we were hearing. The employee followed us out and locked the door behind us. It was 4:45 because I looked at my watch. The hours on the door state closing time at 5:00! Wont go back ever.

I visited this place cause my 7 yo daughter needed a new pair of frames and lenses ! I didnt bring her along but brought her glasses with me along with my Fred glasses that needed a screw repair , I walked in and an a older Spanish looking lady with glassed says may i help you ? I replied yes and showed her my glasses and said a screw popped out ! Can you do anything with this ? she just glanced at them and says Ahhhhh yeaaa , Ahhhhh idk i dont think we have a screw for that ! Then she says well i can do it but if it breaks were not responsible , So I told her its okay take them and fix them Im literally blind ! Then she goes ahhhhhh , I cant right now its very busy here I have 3 more people waiting ! I said to her what should I do ? she tells me come back in an hour ! But , I could tell from her body language and the way she was talking she really didnt want to bother ! So i walked out and never returned , I asked someone else in the mall if there was any other eyeglass places there and they said yes ! 3 more including Lens Crafters , So I found LensCrafters I walked in and the guy immediately took my glasses and they were fixed in 10 min free of charge ! I spend $228 on my daughter frames and lenses and bought some cleaners , Its a shame that 1 miserable person working at Visionworks makes a whole company lose money & look bad ! if it were up to me she would be fired ! I have no problem coming in and pointing her out let me know ?
