I had only been to the one in St Pete. Theyre organized and staff I dealt with were nice.

This JCPenney has regressed to be one (half) step above a dollar store. They still have some decent merchandise, but you have to search for it, and good luck finding an employee to help you or to even take your payment.Also, NEVER pay full price for anything. Everything is usually way overpriced, but its possible to find a few good deals when theres a sale. Really, though, my best advice is to avoid this place altogether.

This message is for Cody who made my family and I feel uncomfortable in the store today(10/23/21) whom, kept falling us around. Advice: not all African Americans steal. We just moved down here from Tennessee and stays in Rocky Point and this store is a few miles from us. We started not to buy anything because of your actions however we bought items just to prove a point. You(Cody) please stop judging a book by its cover. We have been a Jcpenney customer for almost 20 years however after today not anymore. We will take our business to Macys or Dillards!

Difficult to locate a salesperson. Womens wear on the 2nd floor, had to take escalator to 1st floor to try them on!

Not going to share my photo. This store been around way to long for what going here. Customer service need some enhancement to the fullest. Too many frowns.No one ask to help and as I needed to be waited on, she look and walked from behind the counter. I started place all my items back.

Good Store. I stopped by a few weeks ago and was greeted by the nicest associates. I also received help from a girl named Shakira and she was so helpful, makes me want to come here more often.

Very limited size selections. I wear a 52 regular suit so I dont expect them to have that size in every item but they only had one. Not enough staff like everywhere else right now and overall just a blaa experience. Not great and not horrible.Update:Wow! I never would have expected a response from corporate. Im sure the shortages ate do to supply Interruption during covid. I have every intention of continuing to shop at JCPenney. Ill take a look at the website. Thanks for the tip.

Wonderful place

It is the worst of times at JCP while it winds down to the end of yet another mall anchor. A sad loss for Baby Boomers and older. There are many items I just couldn’t find anywhere else and JCP was always well stocked and dependable. I absolutely do not know where I will get those items other than online. It helps to touch dry goods before buying. Eh, the 21st century.

We always find wonderful selections here, and I love the big and tall selections, which are difficult to fins in store elsewhere. We love shopping here!

There was a lady who worked in pennies I believe that they called her Miss Annie and this was the 2nd time that she went over and beyond to help us. I have never encountered an employee quite like her .She was a blessing

Ok fashion, if you dont mind spending too much money on it. Very misleading signs which state sale prices with small print underneath that says and up when none of the clothes on the rack are actually the low price.

I had an issue with a clearance price last week. The cashier in the childrens department told me that the price was wrong and I should have calculated the percentage of the original price. Whoever was above her didnt resolve the issue. She also told me I should have figured out the price and offended me when she said that some people change the price tags and she couldnt honor the price. I had to pay the price that came up in the register, not the one the clearance sticker had. I went today and had a similar situation. A girls watch that had an original price sticker for $14 and another cashier said it was wrong and the price was $25. I told her to keep it and go and change the other 5 watches that had the wrong price. Apparently it is JCP management who instructed their employees to resolve THEIR mistakes by forcing the right prices on the customers instead of admitting their fault and doing what it is right. I closed my credit card with the first experience. After today, I will not return to this specific store. No wonder the reasons for going out of business, which, by the way JCP is addressing their customers, will happen very soon.

Very sad to see a once thriving store almost empty.

I like JCPenneys its a good store what they did not restock the shelves for Christmas when inventory was gone shells were just empty so its not easy to find everything youre looking for because it was not restocked but its like that in a lot of stores when the shelves are empty it doesnt seem like there refilling it I guess theyre waiting for the spring line to come out is all I can think of but its a good store and clean people there were nice and helpful

This is a good store with good sale prices. Fitting rooms are still closed but you have 30 days to return clothes if they dont end up being correct choice. They are also having big sales on lots of jewelry ever since they reopened

Very hard to get help in this store especially when you get off work trying to find work boots used to have nice work boots now theyre almost all nothing there wondering if theyre going to end up like Montgomery awards and go bankrupt?

Horrible service long lines dirty unorganized

The store looked like a ghost town, abandoned. The downstairs restroom in the Juniors Dept has smelt the same for the past 5 years 🤢. Must be a plumbing or bad pipe issue. After looking around the store we finally received some customer assistance andIm sorry to say but the associate acted as if she was almost lifeless.The elevator was not working properly.😕 3 STRIKES!!! We had a little one in a stroller. You were able to ride to the 2nd and 3rd floor with no problem but the 1st button inside the elevator was not working and you had to rely on and associate to make a call to a 1st floor associate so they could press the elevator button in order go back to the first floor. Again, ghost town, now lifeless associates. It took some 30 minutes just to get back to the first. After having to go down by escalator find an associate, get on the elevator and yell back to the associate, HELLO👋🏽🤦🏽‍♀️. Things are not what they use to be.

FAMILY PORTRAIT SUCCESS, Ms.August was the best , photographer and Manager.She was able to happily and kindly get all 5 (13,12,11,9,1)of my children to smile and engage with her for the full shoot.We are only able to take pictures once in a while so getting good ones are important and can be a struggle!We could not be more pleased with her process and energy, Thank You again for such a great experience!

JCPenney I cant believe theyre still in business they really dont have a very good selection of stuff in it what they have is kind of cheesy. hot as heck in there I dont think they spend any money on air conditioning. Do not recommend hanging out for any. Of time

This is one of the best JCPenney stores in the World! There is a wide selection of merchandise, especially clothes, and there are always plenty of discounts. Nice location and large amount of shoes, appliances, and luggage.

We ordered two sets of custom blinds. The sales clerk in the department was extremely helpful. I would recommend buying blinds or draperies or any window coverings from Pennys.

Great sales and bargains with minor digging to find them. Big & Tall man department is best than any other department store I’ve been to.UPDATE: Read the sale signs CLOSELY..!!! Their very deceiving. Prices have gone sky high and quality has taken a dive. Even their Stafford brand is cheap polyester.. I go in there due to habit but leave regretting I wasted my time. Knocking of stars.

While I was shopping with my family, we needed to use the restroom. We asked a cashier where they were located. She just said around the corner like we were bothering her. Once we found it, there was a cleaning person working. We knocked on the door and with an attitude was told to come back later. I spoke wit& a manager and she laughed about the whole thing. This store has no customer service.

Great place, great value and savings, great selection and helpful staff! I also like that Jcpenney has a Sephora inside it! Ordering online with same day pick up is a plus and helps save time!

Store has good merchandise and you can find good deals (have to dig through alot of racks). The checkout lines are my only complaint, rarely have more than 2 cashiers when it’s busy.

Good selection great prices if service was there would be 5 stars. I got a suit I look great in 3 dress shirts on this trip. Went back and found some beautiful Stacy Adams light brown 2 tone dress shoes that retail at $90 on clarence. There was only one pair and they were size 10, Im 9 1/2 but these run small, fit is good these are high quality with memory foam, all leather with rubber inlays for traction. Marked down to $39.99 had some Pennys cash from the suit and a 10% off coupon they were like $20 or so...beat that! I admit lots of luck involved on the shoe deal.

Pennys has in the past been a favorite place to shop for me. Over the past year, I have not shopped there as often as in the past. It seems to have taken on the personality of a discount store. No organization of merchandise, little room to move between or around displays.
