I actually love this candy store. They have a little bit of everything. I thought the price was pretty good too! Customer service was okay, could be better. The lady wasnt rude or anything, just wasnt very friendly or welcoming.

We have loved this store and were sad when our local store at Gulf view mall closed. We had stopped at citrus park mall on our way home from movies for a Halloween costume at Spirit and came across candy Barrel . We are excited now to find out she is still open and has the citrus park store but also has one closer as well at Tarpon Sponge docks so we will visit there in the future. Always an awesome mix and match by the pound collection and just a good stop for a treat with our son...

I opened one of chocolate dove squares, and i found maggots and was absolutely disgusted.

Candy Barrel has stale candy .spent 20.00dollars on 10/2/21.Do not waste your time candy is no good.Very 😢

They have every candy you can think of in the store if so clean I will definitely be coming back

Lot of candy very old!!Buyer beware…

What a disgrace. My sister and I barely filled up one of the bags, and were charged $13. The candy was old, stale, rotten and gross. Rita, the cashier was unpleasant and conveniently does not give receipts so she can hide her inflated prices. Please stay far away from here...you are better off in the dollar tree candy aisle.

Yea the candy store is open and dont worry the public will have to wear gloves upon entry and the staff is friendly

Terrible place and way overpriced. A small bag of candy and a couple of candy bars $26. Total rip off. On top the cashier wouldnt give a receipt . I wonder why?

I was charged $12.99 a pound for candy by the vicious and untrustworthy Cashier. What a shame how she is stealing peoples money and taking advantage of your kids as well. This lady Cashier needs to he removed

Clerk stayed on her cell phone discussing what sound like a fight she had. Didn’t acknowledge there was a customer in the store. Continued on her cell phone . Rude and not helpful

They weigh the candy. How cheap can you be? Just have small, Medium and large bags and let people fill them up. Thats the fun of it. Trying to fit as much as you can in the bag. It lets customers think theyre getting more for their $$$. The way they do it, just makes the store owner look stingy, greedy, no one walks out feeling they got a deal. Always make the customer feel as if they got a deal.

I came into this store and attempted to buy a water bottle only to be declined by the cashier because I was paying with my credit card and not spending over $5. The cashier told me it was a policy in place by her manager/owner Stephanie. This person conveniently has no business card to be notified of this experience hence this review. Well Stephanie, it is against the law to decline transactions and specify a minimum on purchases when paying by credit card. Check the merchant card services agreement. I am actually a customer of this particular location but you can bet after this treatment I will not be returning to round off my purchase to $5.

Candy was stale and overpriced. They do have a huge selection, some if it was good.

Severely overpriced. Purchased two small bags that maybe weighed a little over a pound for both and 6 candy sticks, which were $1.00 for 3. Our total was $25!!!! Ridiculous!!! Can you say rigged scale?! Will NOT ever be purchasing from them again!

The candy is way overpriced, but you can get things that you cant find anywhere else. All the candy I remember as a kid.

Candy is exposed to humid air and old .All hard candy I bought was gummy and stuck to the wrappers, and is clearly humidity compromised for almost $16 a lb .Not impressed at all .Avoid this junk pit .
