I dont shop as often as I used to at Publix. Im so tired of seeing rotted produce in the produce section. A shopper should not have to rummage through tomatoes with black spots, mold and worry about their fingers puncturing a rotten tomato. I understand we have supply issues, but it would be better to not offer rotten produce and have a empty shelf. The bag boy today ,and this has happened before, bagged cleaning supplies in with food,and breakable items in with heavy objects. I used to work in a grocery store and take great care in placing cold items , heavy items, produce, etc....as I was trained. Either the staff is not trained or they do not care.

My husband stopped into this Publix today to pick up my daughter’s birthday cake. It was ordered in-person a month ago and to his surprise, the bakery could not locate the order. Abby literally dropped everything she was doing and made my daughter a 1/4 sheet personalized Descendants cake so that we would have it in time to leave for our vacation today. Thank you, Abby, for the beautiful cake and making our 4 year old’s day. Exceptional service!

Love this Publix. Met an amazing employee who just asked me the simplest question. Was i okay. I broke right there. Because no i was not. All day i put on my armor. We talked for a minute or two. In that a weight lifted. Hope to meet her again. #aparentshouldneverbuyflowersforapassedchild.

Big store, great values and delicious fried chicken, super fresh deli and fruits, produce, plus incredible specials. And an excellent staff including The Jonathan dudes who are really helpful and are amazing at leveling the shelves! The deli manager guy is super friendly, Peyton Manning is a cool cashier! The girls up front very friendly too!

Great place. Do not go on weekends or holidays. Inadequate checkout staff on those days.

The store is fine. Deli is hit or miss in terms of who makes the sub. If I wanted to be sassed by the people making my subs, Id buy them from subway.Produce should check their lettuce more often before they use it in the daily made salads. Got two salads recently at the same time and both were pretty rough.The rest of the store and staff are fine though. Management has helped in the past if something was wrong.

In the deli, who trained Verna? It is up to you guys to train these people. She needs another position. Thank God Kevin made my sandwich today. When i walked up and she was working, my heart broke. Luckily she takes superlong to do anything, and Kevin came to the rescue!! This man needs to be manager of the deli. Ive came before with the current manager and verna and my sandwich and service was horrible. With the right training and hustle that Kevin could provide will make the deli a success again. I hope the owner reads this. We already complained a few times and Verna is the same!! She still dont know how to make a sub.

Excellent customer service! I went to the grocery store early that morning, and although the Seafood Department was not open at the moment, an employee was kind enough to service me. I was very surprised and very appreciative for his assistance!

Before moving to Tampa Bay I never would have thought of liking a grocery store. Grocery shopping was always a necessary evil - we need food and there was only one way to get it. It was not until I discovered my first Publix that I actually started enjoying (yes, I said enjoying) grocery shopping. Since then, Publix has become my favorite grocery store and a place I know I will consistently receive good service no matter when or which location I decide to visit.I hesitated to write this review because sometimes it felt like this location is one of the few Publix locations that are not constantly packed - and I really hope that doesnt change. In fact, it is typically easy to get in and out of the store without spending much time waiting in line for a register. If lies are long they always seem to open more registers and even take customers at the customer service desk. The only place Ive ever had to wait long at this location is the deli (depending on the time of day and day of the week I visit). That issue is easy to remedy by placing an order in advance online, and then when I walk into the store my deli order is bagged and waiting for me in a designated case near the deli!The meat and produce departments at this Publix really go above and beyond. If I only need a few veggies that are wrapped together in a large package, they are happy to break it down for me into the number of items I need. The staff in the meat department have always gone out of their way to help whenever asked - they break down larger packages, find items in the back that are sold out on the shelves, cut meats to specifications, and anything else needed. The meat department offers some great ready-to-cook meals that are packaged for customers to pick up. When I know Im heading over and want to be sure they have something Im looking for (like the spiral-wrapped steak, spinach & provolone), I call in advance and they have the packages ready when I arrive. All of this is done with a smile and a great attitude - no matter how busy they are, the staff always seems happy to help. Customer service goes a long way for me, and Publix sets the bar very high in this area, which is why it has been my favorite grocery store for years.

Poor inventory management. I look for sugar free and keto type items. They stock a variety of flavors, but there is no restocking of the popular ones until ALL are sold, take it or leave it. BOGO is pretty much a scam now, since they refuse to give rainchecks, and the supply runs out early. One keto ice cream item I really enjoy has been missing for nearly two weeks now. Shrugs all around. UPDATE: I went back again today, apparently, I just dont know when to quit. Someone please explain to the manager that there is a substantial difference between broccoli sprouts and alfalfa sprouts.

Uses tons of plastic bags, sometimes double bagging unnecessarily, and when paper bags are available. They should be the default option. Publix is choosing profits over the environment.

I go to this location all the time. Well this time a man walked his dog in with him it (was not a service dog ) then proceeded to pick it up and hold in front of the sandwich station while food was being made. Gross and unsanitary. Shame on you Publix. Have not been back yet.

I cannot express the feeling of help and commitment to customer service that this location has consistently provided to me. I shop a lot of different stores and this one truly stands out as one that wants to please their customers. I needed an order of breaded wings and they made sure that I had them waiting on me when I finished my shopping. Great place to shop and appreciate service that I grew up with!!!

Interestingly enough, the store was as clean as usual, but the prices seem to have gone up on everything! I mean like less BOGO and other pricing is higher. This is my normal Publix so I noticed right away. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Great grocery store

The pharmacists are great! Pharmacists get 5 stars. But deli team, 1 star: only 1 person in this section wore face mask correctly. 1 person had mask cover face but not nose, and others choose not to wear mask. And d we like service was very slow. I decided to select prepackaged deli meat instead of waiting for unmasked slow worker. Then at checkout, no one was wearing masks and young workers were too close.Given current covid-19 challenges, I expected more from Publix. I did not fell safe shopping at Publix this week. Ill limit my future visits to only picking up prescriptions.

I was in a bit of a pickle and needed a copy of a lease agreement. Hoping that this Publix would have a copy machine I stopped in. I was disappointed to find out that they didn’t have a copy machine! But then, out of no where, manager Richard swooped in and saved the day! He ran the lease through their office copier with a smile! Thank you Richard!!

Our family has lived in the area before this Publix was built. We have been shopping there from the beginning. I would give them 5-stars up to about three years ago. Since then the have really missed a step. They now shift stock on shelves to cover empty spots this then causes the ordering clerk to miss the empty spot so some things never get reordered. If an item has several different configurations but the packaging looks similar you’ll find them all mixed together. They are constantly changing the flavors or varieties of items they carry or simply deleting items that were being purchased. The bakery manager is now one of the rudest employees of the store. The other day we ordered a cake and wanted an inscription written on it. The writing looked like a child had done it. When we asked about it the clerk said that’s the best she could do and she hadn’t been trained on cake decorating. When we spoke with the manager she confirmed that and just stood there looking at us without anything further to say, like it was all our fault for our expectations. These are but a few of the examples of the seemingly gradual decline of this Publix. So it gets 3-stars and if this is any indication I’d expect that to decline.

Why are you not enforcing 6 feet apart in all your stores? Check out lines? Very difficult. Make people do it. To much ignorance but you must set the tone. Plexiglass for cashiers. Way too much close interaction in your stores. Way behind the curve. I love Publix. Please adapt quickly.

All Publix parking lots are terrible. That aside, this Publix is much nicer than the one on Sheldon and Hillsborough. Drive an extra 10 minutes for it.

Been shopping here for years.. the prices are outrageous for food. I dont blame this store though. Publix is just really high all over compared to other stores outside of Florida. But this store has the best pharmacy Ive dealt with. Both the pharmacists are really nice and get everything right. The tech is also very helpful .I dont know her name but she is on point as well. Its nice when I get my perceptions for my wife and I they ready to go. Ive been to places that its a process just to get a refill. Not there

This is the Publix I always go to. It is large, clean, and well stocked. The employees are helpful if you need something. The parking lot is large so there is never a chance to not find parking. Prices are a bit higher but you are paying for a clean store, excellent products, and friendly employees- all things important to me in a grocery shopping experience!Note: they take most coupons and have tons of Bogo items.

He was polite and friendly through our whole transaction and extremely knowledgeable about my husbands medication and answers all of our questions and concerns regarding interactions. You have an amazing employee with Veekas Patel. My husband and I just wnted to give him some praise for all of his hard work and effort.

Ordered the deli 8 piece fried chicken combo. Comes with 2 sides and 4 pk rolls.CHICKEN WAS OUTSTANDING! Salads were good (had to take one back as it was frozen in the middle) Hawaiian rolls were good but needed butter PATS with combo. I will get more fried chicken!

This is always a very clean and friendly store. Run very well by the management on site and the support staff. During these trying times theyre willing to do many things to help you get through and out and a quick time and set up the store to be safe.

Beautiful ham

This deli is a nightmare. Half the time they will give 5-10 employees working with 1 person make sandwiches. It’s not uncommon to wait 30 minutes for a sub. Insanity. The employees are all super nice. But if there are customers waiting, they need to be helped first. That’s how Publix used to operate.
