Glad I stopped in. They had an assortment of gear in this store as well as clothing. Most of the gear was probably out of my sphere of interest, but they have a wide selection of amazing work pants (elastic and no belt necessary) on the one wall. Knowing that these are here, I will definitely be back to get a pair when needed. Store was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will be back again for pants in the future.

I’ve been a strong supporter of 5.11 for years. Bought some XPRTs last December, they’ve fallen apart on me. I went into 5.11 today just looking for new boots, and it turned into a wonderful experience. Nothing I’ll stand by stronger than 5.11

Staff is super helpful. After explaining what I was in need of and having picked out a bag on their website, the employee pulled the bag for me and also pointed out another that would work for my needs. Not something I wouldve ever looked at in the first place but after seeing all the features, I agreed with her.

Making a spectacle about not wearing a mask tells me all I need to know about this place.I’ll pass, better deals online on all of the same gear they sell. Not even Publix enforces the company mask mandate.Grow up.

Amazing store, tons of stock and choices. You could walk in nekked and dress from head to toe! Great selection of bags and patches too. Customer service is top notch, 2nd to none. Cant recommend visiting this location enough.

They will run you out of the store and be sure to sell you what they think is best vs what you actually picked out. If you want to bring in a return, they will tell you online is easier and attempt to make you feel like you need to return it via mail. Just order online if you wanna try anything from this company. Do not waste your time with Perry.

Looking around and maintaining distance from the 3 other people in the store when a lady approached me asking if I had a face covering. I did not and told her I have a medical condition that is exacerbated by them. She walks off and says they are required to shop here in what I took as a rude tone. Mind you I have on all 5.11 apparel as thats what I use for work. This is the first 5.11 store in recent months, in 3 states, that has tried to mandate a useless and harmful face mask. Its your companies right to ask for them to be worn, just like its my right to shop else where. Sure hate it too as I have been a long time supporter personally and for our company.

Walked in this early afternoon looking for pants and boots, got helped by two women who gave me plenty of options and explained each one in detail to give me the best pick. Walked out with a free tactical apron and patch as well. I can’t remember their names for the life of me but they were great.

Came in to the store today to try some things on and was immediately greeted by store manager Eberle. Eberle was very helpful in helping me choose a pair of shorts to replace my discontinued pair. She also assisted in setting up shipping directly to my house for a size they didn’t have in store. Overall an amazing experience. I will continue to shop here! Thank you, Eberle!

We had a great first visit this past weekend at 5.11 Tactical. I wanted a vest for Murph and Daniel could not have made the process any easier! He fitted my vest perfectly and made sure I left the store with it feeling comfortable. He could not have been more helpful and personable. We will definitely be back!

Really awesome store! 5.11 gear is top notch stuff and it is great to see a store full of it as opposed to shopping online. The staff is also great! All of the ladies there know their stuff, are friendly and helpful.

I wasn’t asked to leave this review at all.But I went into this store, yesterday, as I was headed elsewhere and I thought I would go in there to fit my drone equipment. I explained what I was looking for and I was walked over to a table where they brought out several bags. She then asked that I bring my equipment in so that we can verify fitment abs build the bag to my specific needs. This whole time, she was full of energy, knew what she was talking about, and loved doing this challenge of “building a bag” just for me.I was so impressed by this individual that I was willing to spend any amount necessary to accomplish my needs. I didn’t question her as she did all of the asking and not just telling. I appreciated that she asked me to bring my equipment in so that we could verify fitment vs just winging it.I would definitely recommend this store and I feel more businesses need that type of floor salesperson to make things a heck of a lot easier.

Never been to a 5.11 Store, always did everything online. It was nice to go to the store and get a feel for everything before making a purchase. THe lady was very awesome and nice in helping me out and welcoming me to the store for my first experience, she even told me to go get some food at the restaurant a few doors down. Hell yeah! I had a good experience.

We went in there to find pants when we were rudely interrupted and told just to leave the pants on the table because we were pulling so many to see what we liked. Not to mention we tried telling her what we were looking for and she said she wasn’t talking to us that she was talking to the one that was going to be wearing them. Needless to say it was not a good experience and I will not be returning.

Our experience at the Tampa location today was hands down the best I’ve ever had. 5.11 would be wise to hang on to Eberle.

Nice brand. They really did not have much in the store. Literally one pair of pants in my size. Plus the blond sales girl was quite snippy. Not really helpful either. Go online and bypass this store.

I hate leaving this review but $120 for boots that start tearing and falling apart as you walk in them isnt accurate advertising when your told they are high quality and will last. Last they did not, 6 months, not hiking but walking to the office and 1 hike. I bought them so they could replace my last boots when they gave out, once they did I started wearing these and within a few months already noticed the holes forming in the crease of the boot when I walked.The employees at the front are extremely helpful and friendly and I have been here for an event before which was run very well.Unfortunately there footwear did not live up to the reputation 5.11 has built, I truly wish they did as I was a fan.

Store hours have been changed, but nobody bothered to update them on Google maps. Ended up driving for an hour to see a closed door.

I went in with just a few hours left until they clised for the New Year. The place was pretty cool. The fella that helped me out (Daneil I think) was kind of a young kid, helpful, motivated and knowledgeable enough to answer all of my questions, AND offered suggestions as to how I might go about finding items they did not have in stock.Its refreshing to see that in a young person these days.Thank you kind sir.I can honestly say I would go back.

By far the best Tactical Supplies store in the area! Daniel always goes above and beyond every time I bring my family in. He always takes his time with us to help us find what we’re looking for and to make sure we find the right size, and today he even stayed past his closing time to get us everything we needed! I went to the store to look for boots and found exactly what I was looking for. The associate Eberle was more than extremely helpful and was super nice! I drove 45 minutes out of my way just to visit the store and thanks to her customer service and the store having exactly what I needed, I would gladly drive an hour anytime! When I was leaving I saw Eberle treating several other customers with the same respect and attention she gave me. Highly recommend this store!!

My wife and I were on vacation in Clearwater, and decided to take a drive over to the store. First, the place looked fantastic inside and was extremely well organized. Second, they had all I wanted in stock. But, third and foremost the main reason I will stop in again was the saleswoman who helped us. I cant remember her name, but she has blond hair, a fitness nut, and her husband is an officer. I am an officer too and am always over cautious when talking to anyone. She made me feel at home, was very knowledgeable of the 5.11 line, and she treated my wife and I will the upmost professionalism. When we come back for our next vacation, we will be stopping in at 5.11 and we hope she is working again.

One of my worst retail experiences in my entire life the older blonde associate was so pushy and rude, was grabbing things out of my hands to fold them again as I was looking at pants.

I had a great experience at this store. The people were really friendly and extremely helpful. I love the store and I hope to return to it again very soon.

Love this place, prices may seem high at first, but there stuff is first quality heavy duty, rugged and well made. I have 11 pairs of the tactical pants and shorts I wear right now a pair of shorts everyday for work, have had them almost three years, each pair gets washed once a week and they are still in excellent shape. Folks you get your monies worth on 511 brand. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff is amazing! They are experts on all the items they sell, and are very friendly. If youre in the Tampa area you have to stop by and check out the huge selection in store, grab some cool patches, and awesome gear!

Horrible experience!!! Made a $6,000.00 order 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received shipping. By the time I get the shirts I will be out of business!!! This is insane, the only reason I put the order in, is because I was told it would be ready the next week. I want a full refund, and CANCEL MY ORDER IMMEDIATELY!!!! Sad!

This location is like a hidden gem. Its stock full of great gear and located in a great location. The employee told us that they are the only 5.11 store within 4 hours! Theyve been open over a year but this is the first time Ive gone inside. Man was I glad I did. Its everything you expect and more. Definitely worth your time. The staff I interacted with was super helpful. Very knowledgeable about the products, and patient. I asked a lot of questions. I wasnt impressed with the 5.11 line of apparel 3 years ago. That changed, I will be testing out a few of the new lines offered.

Nice, bright store. I came in with my son and we looked around. Most prices (not all) were comparable to the website. The female employee was nice, the male had the typical on-duty-cop-like attitude, no smile, very calculating, sizing us up once we walked in (I have 20-yrs exp. in EMS, & my son is 6). Certainly less than inviting. We were the only ones in the store for the ~20 minutes we were there. They did have quality bags, even if they were out of my price range. Ill keep my shopping for 5.11 online from now on.

So the sign says yes were open, but we get greeted with if you dont know what you want you cant shop here order online. She said theyre only open to first responders because of the virus.I drove over 20 miles to shop their because the website said they were open for business. Never again. 5.11 just lost a customer

Workers are available if you have any questions, are very knowledgeable on when new shipments of stock are coming in, and know very much about the products and where they may be available otherwise if not available in that store. Best quality clothing you can find in the area for tactical apparel or regular apparel. They carry black rifle coffee company apparel, mugs, and the coffee itself for very good price.

Didnt know they existed. It was a great find. To be able to see somethings before purchasing is such a plus. The manager heled us and was so nice. Will definitely be stopping again when near.

Friendly employees and all of the best and hard to find gear. Prices were actually better than other retailers that sell 5.11 merchandise. Example: Speed boots $109 at an area military supply store, $89 at 5.11 store.

We stopped today for their anniversary sale. We were greeted quickly and asked if we needed anything. The sales associates were fantastic. Unfortunately my son took off his Oakley’s while trying on a long sleeve shirt. As we were leaving he realized that he didn’t have them. We searched the store and the sales associates took our name and number. It’s just disappointing that a store that deals with public safety that someone took his glasses instead of turning them.

WOW! First of all, this store is unlike anything else ive been in. The staff is amazing and the products they have to offer range anywhere from gym clothes to Leo/military and EMT equipment. I was truly impressed when I called in to see if they have the mission ready Chukkas (shoe) available. I was told they did and was asked my shoe size to make sure they had it. When I mentioned I would be by the next day the gentlemen I spoke to informed me that he has two sizes set out with my name on it for me. NOW thats customer service. I live in South Tampa and will continue to drive 30 minutes to their store for everything I need in their categories. Great job to the staff and their help!!

Good service, wish they had more products pertaining to Security/Law Enforcement....I went I for belt keepers, they dont have any in store. I did however leave with some boots, that hopefully turn out to be as good as the Bates boots Ive used for the past 10 years.....yes, one pair has lasted a decade, lets see how these 5.11s stack up.

Poor customer service in that staff harassed disabled shopper who was not able to wear mask due to their disability. Despite everyone else wearing masks and social distancing, this stores staff harassed a disabled man refusing to let him shop despite everyone else wearing masks and keeping 6 feet apart. Very disturbing to other shoppers. Will not shop in your store again.

Love 5.11 and have purchased nothing but 5.11 for over a decade. Extremely disappointed in their customer service. I expected more from the retail location. Wont return. Will buy online from now on.
