I am a tourist in Tampa from Miami. My bike seat broke while riding it on the water front. Bought a new seat at Joe Haskins and they installed it without charging an additional cost. Also oiled the chains of our 2 bikes as a courtesy. Loved the service and the bike seat is very comfortable. Super friendly staff.

This spot has been around for years and providing great service. My father went here as a kid, and so did i, now taking my son for various bike needs makes it geenrational. The employees are friendly and know what theyre talking about. I will say its locally owned... youre not going to get the brand new show room vibes from the location... but the people and the equipment are top notch, and the pricing on my brand new 21 speed road hybrid was better than any other spot in Tampa at that time.

Came here to get a tire fixed cause it had a slow leak . They were close to closing but it was the only time I could get there. I needed my Inner tube changed but I guess they didn’t have time and now my bike is flat and I’m stuck

I have purchased three bikes from Joe since I moved to Tampa Heights 15 years ago. I have had great experiences every time. The prices are great, the service is amazing and I like supporting local business. They have a lot of business and are no-nonsense about it. If you need to be coddled and stroked go to the competition and get charged double.

Good bike shop it’s been around for many years I would recommend this bike shop for all general repairs or maintenance checks. If you have a higher end bike or very technical issue like a fork or headshock issue then I would recommend another location, but they are good at what they do and offer great prices!

Went there yesterday and they werent letting people in..... They were talking to customers through the door. Place wont last long.

Pretty awful experience, I would not return. The older woman working there acted as if she would rather be literally anywhere else. When I brought the bike in initially she seemed annoyed I was even there and when I asked for routine maintenance like lube and to check the brakes etc. she begrudgingly took the bike and told me someone would call me when it was ready.Nobody called me when it was ready I had to call multiple time the next day before someone finally picked up and told me to come get it.The best part is I don’t think they actually did anything to my bike!When I asked exactly what went into the “maintenance” they did, the older woman seemed offended I would even ask and essentially shooed me off. The mechanic said he “uhhh checked the brakes and looked at the gears.”It was pretty cheap I will say, but certainly not a bike shop I would go to for any sort of actual repairs or maintenance.

It was ok,normally real good,but covid has affected them, u cant walk in even with mask, they have doors locked.They tried to help but couldnt..Not bad tho

Ive been taking bikes to this shop for years. They do a great, quick repair job at very reasonable prices. I previously tried taking bikes to shops where the proprietors were bike snobs and refused to work on department store bikes purchased for less than 4 figure prices--very frustrating. These folks are good people who have even done minor repair jobs for free and refused any money when offered. You dont see that very often these days!

Fixed my crank and their replacement part broke within an hour of riding it after they fixed it. Save your money go somewhere else.

I really don’t see what the hype is all about. The lady that open the door today wasn’t really friendly. There was no “hey”, “how are you?” Or anything like that’s it was just “what can I do for you” with no smile what so ever. Got some lubricant for my bike chain and it was pretty pricey. $9 for a small bottle that was cover with dust and the bottle was literally half gone. I am assuming they only had one type because I wasn’t even given a option to choose from...I couldn’t even get a thank you or have a nice day. Yea the reviews are good but it’s my first time coming there and first impression are everything . These are the reasons why it’s really hard to support family own business.
