I had a great experience here! The staff were all friendly and helpful, they were with me from start to finish. I was able to test drive a few bikes to see which one I liked, then I bought a few accessories that they attached right then, and they even helped me get my new bike on my bike rack. I highly recommend!

What a great resource to have here in Citrus Park. I was riding the trail and needed a valve cap so I stopped in and Scott was happy to give me one. I was curious about their bicycle collection because my wife has been looking to get a new bike. My wife being 6’ tall is not easy to shop for, she was riding a men’s bike but wanted a step through. Scott showed me a very nice step through model they had for sale.After my ride I brought my wife back to the shop, she tried it out and we went home with the (new to us) bicycle. The bike was a perfect fit, my wife couldn’t have been happier. Scott made sure it was adjusted to her height so she and the bike fir together perfectly. We were both very impressed with the service and the product.I really want to let people know that if you need a bicycle serviced or if you’re looking to get another bike, you should certainly come here and see what they have to offer. I plan on getting our bikes serviced here from now on.

1st visit was to have my pedals switched out. The clerk couldn’t remove the old pedals. I bought a wrench, and was able to do it on my own.2nd visit I had a flat and specifically told the clerk the rim tape needed to be replaced. Picked the tire up and was told the rim tape was fine. I paid the 28$ for the inner tube replacement and was told the tape was fine. Another flat after 4 miles. Went elsewhere and was told the rim tape was in really bad shape. Had them replace the tape and no flats since.I will never step foot in this dump again.

After having my previous bike stolen, I was eager to get my hands on something to fill the void! Scott was extremely helpful in helping me pick out a road bike that fit me best! (my previous bike was too large for me & I didn’t even realize until Scott put me on a bike that fit me just right!) I bought my bike from Citrus Park Bikes pre-owned and currently have over 70 miles on it, she rides so smooth! Genuinely so happy with how smooth everything went, Scott even helped me out by ordering purple handlebar tape so that I could personalize my bike a little! As I am a frequent Walker of Tampa Bay Trail I have always seen this bicycle shop and they are always so nice. I ended up having a flat tire in my stroller and they were able to repair and fix within 5 minutes. Price was beyond fair and the customer service was great. In the future we will use for any bicycle repairs. Thank you

Took bike in for a tune up because both derailleurs were wandering/shifting erratic.I have little time to do fix myself so I figured let’s have an expert do it right. $80 later and rear gears still phantom shift. It is marginally better but I could have done this amateur tune myself. Not certain what they did but the rear cable still is missing crimp - you would think a pro would add the cable crimp after a tune up. I’m now looking for another pro to fix my bike instead of riding this morning.

Worst customer service starting from the unprofessional greeting I received when one of the workers opened the door and literally placed his face really close to mine. Very uncomfortable and very unprofessional.

Just picked up my bike, and I shouldve checked before I left. $86 later: front brake is still rubbing the rim, and the front tires wheel-threads are still facing the wrong way. Im know very little about bike repair, but this should be elementary for a bike shop.

I purchased my road bike from this local small business few years back and have been going back since. I have no problem supporting small businesses such as this one who serve and lend a hand to our community. The owner partnered up with the HCSO to fix a young boys bicycle after he was attacked on the trail and it was stolen from him.In times like this any job counts towards an income for any business. Just today, I went to go biking early this morning and the chain had fallen off the track, I went over there thinking I would not be riding for a few days. Little did I know he said he could quickly fix it to have me on my way. When I asked how much the job was going to cost me, he told me to get going and have a great day! It blew my mind there are still people spreading kindness. I say to you, dont let yourself be deterred from this awesome spot. The guys here rock and do a superb job! Theyve always taken care of my bike and I!

Great help and service even when when you got your bike elsewhere. Will install accessories that you purchase at no charge, pick a slack time. Shade to cool off while your there. Don’t have a part, they will order it for you. Pumped up my tires for me, got me on the trail again. They ride bikes to work. Try them out.

They really helped us out with an adult tricycle which came to me unassembled. I put it together but it had problems and needed adjustments all over. They provided excellent service at a fair price.

Went here to buy my first road bike and it was a GREAT EXPERIENCE. Scott helped me out and he was very friendly and knowledgable. Plus this shop is right next to the upper tampa bay trail so you can be on your way as soon as your done either buying or getting work done on your bike. Definitely recommend!

It took a week to replace a tube but you know what the tube is still holding air 6 days later and AFTER a 16 mile.ride, which is 5 times better than the last 3 tubes in succession by another bike repair company

I had terrible business with them in the years past and stopped going there. But my friend (with no cycling experience) needed just a tire repaired along with a wheel that was off a little. The shop insisted everything just be purchased new. Glad my friend didn’t fall for it. Got the “repair” done. After he told me about it, I warned him about the shop’s shoddy work and said to take it straight to David‘s Cycle instead. When they inspected the work, it was so poorly done, they thought my friend did it! They fixed it right there and even found other issues from Citrus’ work and fixed them for free. There was no need for any new parts. You want good work, fair prices, trustworthy service? Go to David’s World Cycle off N Dale Mabry.What helps the Citrus shop survive is its incredibly convenient location, being right off the trail, and being the only bike shop in the local area. Other than that, the workmanship is sub-par at best, and Miguel will even respond condescendingly to you, especially if you come with a complaint. Scott has much better customer service, but they are still salesmen before servicemen.Don’t go there unless it’s absolutely necessary.

The guys working here are awesome! My daughter fell from her bike and skinned her knee and was bummed she couldnt ride the bike with the scaping sound it was making. The guys working was able to detect quickly it was a slightly bent in chain guard and fixed it in less than 10 seconds! No charge! Thanks!!

Scott is honest however Miguel would does not know to fix bikes and instead blames the customers for riding in grass and also suggested to go elsewhere pretty rudely. I would not recommend this store

Called to ask basic repair question and if I had to make an appointment to come in. The person on the phone was rude for absolutely no reason. Never been there and don’t care to find out what kind of service I would receive in store. Maybe hire a customer service representative if you’re too busy or bothered.

Surprisingly rude. Showed up and asked if they had any used bikes for sale. He said no used bikes. I asked if he had any new bikes. He said no new bikes either. It was weird and awkward, especially with so many bikes hanging around (I realize it is a repair shop too, but it says SALES first on their sign). Then he proceeded to ask me what I was looking for and I told him. He showed me 3 bikes he had for sale...but not sure if they were new, used or someone elses. So awkward. Wont be coming here again.

Scott and Miguel provided excellent customer service. I had numerous questions about finding a bike that was ideal for me.. Scott exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely recommend him and this bike shop to friends and family.

Gave them a phone call because I was interested in knowing if they had any bikes less than 100. Call me ignorant I had no idea what the prices were in the store. Guy on the phone proceeds to tell me that this was not a pawn shop in the most condescending rude manner. You just lost my business sir. I could’ve maybe a brand new one if I had no luck with finding a bike due to the lack of bikes from the pandemic.. but with that kind of costumer service I will never even suggest to anyone to even stop in. That’s not how you do business and if you are tired of receiving phone calls about it than perhaps you should go into a different business and not involve yourself with customers!

Very poor customer service and communications between employees. This was my first time visiting to purchase some riding gear and maintenance items. The employee seemed to busy flirting with some little boys mom to even address why I have been standing there patiently waiting. Before what appeared to me was him making fun of me to the women, before finally addressing if I had been helped. I said no, another customer that just walked up was then greeted and helped. After witnessing this I felt ignored and left. I will not recommend this place to my fellow riders nor family and friends.

After reading the reviews, I was expecting a very nice friendly place. Both employees were extremely rude, even questioning whether I can afford one of their bikes. Funny thing is I drove up in an infinity qx50 that was one year old. Not sure whats going on with them, must have been just a bad day.

I am very pleased with the repair and tune up of my 30 year old racing bike by Citrus Park Bikes. They were very attentive to both my bike as well as to my satisfaction. When I picked up my bike, the owner Miguel let me know that if I saw anything that did not seem correct to let him know and he would check it out, I then decided to take a test ride right from the store. The bike performed great just as it used to! As I loaded my bike onto my car, Miguel saw me and unexpectedly came outside to check how it went. What great technical service as well as customer service! I recommend Miguel and Citrus Park Bikes for any of your biking needs!

We were looking for a couple of new bikes to ride in the Florida sunshine. When we went to Citrus Park Bikes we were impressed with their shop. Miguel explained to us all the different bikes out there. There was never any sales pressure. After a couple of road tests we chose the Orbea comfort bikes. Within the week they were ordered, assembled, and ready to ride. Miguel and his staff were awesome and it is always nice to support a local business.

Can’t speak highly enough of this shop, the owner Miguel and his wife. Both were very friendly, engaging & you could tell they truly care about their customers. They were extremely helpful in removing and installing an old pedal I could not remove on my own. The pricing was more than reasonable and he is very efficient in getting things done as quickly as possible for his clients. I would highly recommend his services. Bonus: They are also located directly on the upper bay trail!

Terrible service. Not very knowledgeable and refused to fix the bicycle properly. (Replacing a tubular tire). Had the bicycle fix at another location and they advised the tubular tire was not glued properly and could have caused a safety hazard. Don’t waste your money.

This place is awesome.. Definitely recommend it to anyone.. Miguel is cool and the mechanic Scott is very knowledgeable and can fix anything.. I always bring my bike here.. They also tuned my bike for my 1st triathlon and it ran better than ever..

I rented a well cared for Raleigh bicycle for the day and enjoyed every minute. Miguel listened carefully to my wishes about the kind of ride I was hoping to have and made recommendations accordingly. After I returned the bike, I enjoyed a brief stroll down the street where I got to see several peacocks. I will definitely return to rent or buy a bike when Im in the area again.

I worked with Miguel and test drove multiple bikes. He listened to what I was looking for, made several suggestions, and let me test ride many bikes after adjusting them to fit me. In the end, I found a great bike and purchased it at a fair price. This is a great local business and it is clear that Miguel and his coworkers are passionate about what they do.

Before continuing to read my post, read whats done and covered under their Overhaul tune up package on their website. I bought a used bike off someone that needed a lot of work, and brought it in. They told me it would be done in a week on a Wednesday. Came back a week later, and its not done. Told them I needed it done by Friday, and they said that was not a problem. Friday comes, not done. After complaining, they quickly finished it up and charged me the full price for the overhaul package, which was around $135 after taxes. They had the bike 1 1/2 weeks. As I get there to pick it up, they inform me that the back disc brake rotor is bent, and the cassette has some broken teeth. Would of been nice to know when they first started and inspected it, so I could of had a replacement brought in before they put the bike back together. I had to take the bike and rush out the door to get to work. Later I inspected it. From their website The bike is completely disassembled, down to the nuts and bolts, then reassembled from scratch... Includes:-frame inspection-all services included in overhaul.-removal, cleaning and re-greasing of all parts. The front sprocket, rear derailleur, and cassette were never cleaned. They were still covered in old black dirty grease that was on there when I brought the bike in. All they did was wipe it off and spray some oil on it. I had the front tube pop on a ride only to find that the front rim strip was deteriorated and almost gone. They put a brand new one on the back, but never replaced the first. I ended up having to finish doing the job I paid them to do. I will definitely not be bringing back any bikes to have service done here. Especially since there are plenty of other shops in the area. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one, was because they were very nice and friendly. But thats no excuse not to do the work you charged someone for, or give them bad information about when it will be done. Especially since they inspected the bike when I brought it in, and were well informed of how much work it would need.

This place is awesome, they repair my bike quickly (same day) the Owner is very honest, I want change my Bike GPS because I thought it was broken, but he change the battery and work well, I recommend this place for buy or repair you bike

I was bike riding with my daughter when one of her training wheels completely slid up. Luckily we were right outside this shop. We wheeled her bike up and Miguel fixed the issue for us. (Free of charge which is lucky since I didnt have my wallet with me) Thanks for the help!!

I went in looking for a used bike. He had a good selection but not what I envisioned. The service was excellent and tried to suit my needs the best he could. I ended up buying a new bike for $1200 so it really wasnt his shop or service. Will definitely go by again!

Being new to FL I was not familiar with many bike shops. I looked on their website, they had a Specialized that I had been looking for, I called them up and spoke to Scott and you could tell he was friendly and knew his stuff. I came in and you can tell they do not care about making the sale. They care more about getting the right bike for the person/size. I was more than willing to purchase the Specialized I had my eye on....but Scott told me right away it was not the right size. I didnt care but he let me try riding the right size bike and you could tell Scott would have rather sell me the right size bike, even though it was half the price as the Specialized. Amazing customer service and is in the business for the right reasons. Ill be a lifetime customer.

Very honest!! I thought my bike needed a new tube, however, an employee there educated me on bike tires. He said if I was still having trouble, to bring the bike back. He didnt charge me.
