July 24 Todd came out to replace windshield in my Ford Transit Connect. After setting the glass in the resin he was pushing to make sure glass was set and shattered the new windscreen lower left quadrant. He left the tape that he used to help position the glass on the vehicle. A week later a second technician came out to replace the windscreen a second time. I mentioned I was not able to remove the tape and he informed me it was not supposed to be left on for any extended period of time. When he tried to remove it the paint in two areas came with it. There is tape residue missing paint and adhesive residue left on the vehicle. I was told somebody from corporate would be reaching out to me about the damage to the vehicle by the second technician. I have called progressive and the Safelite customer care number several times now with no response. If you value your vehicle and your time do not do business with this company. I trusted Progressives recommendation I wont make the same mistake again.

I give a low rating because I had my windshield replaced at this location. As I started to drive away I noticed they my heads-up display is no longer clear, it’s blurry and it shows a double image. I was told that I would be contacted by the manager to see what they could do about it because they have never had this issue. My car is a 2021, and this was not a problem before I brought it in to this location. Three weeks later now, and I cannot reach anyone on the phone nor have I heard back from them.

Don’t let the TV commercial fool you. Oct 29, a technician came yesterday to replace my windshield and he wasn’t able to because the glass he brought didn’t had te part that holds the rain sensor. The weather was cloudy and about to rain so I asked him if I could go to the shop to get the replacement done in a different date. He said yes and that he’ll put it on the notes and they’ll give me a confirmation. Today I received an email confirmation but saying that they’ll will come to my house. When the tech called I tried to explain him that I asked the previous tech about going to the facility then he acted like he didn’t care so I asked him “If it can’t be done just let me know so I can call somebody else, no hard feelings “. After that he pointed out pretty arrogantly that he can’t control the weather. I am very disappointed with my experience.

Due to a large and rapidly-spreading crack on my windshield, I scheduled an appointment to have it replaced at one of their earliest available appointments, which was 4 days away. As the appointment date approached, I received numerous confirmation emails, including the evening prior to and on the morning of my scheduled appointment.When I arrived for my appointment, I handed over my keys and sat in the waiting area for about 15 minutes (I was told it would take about 1 hour and 45 minutes to finish the work). However, they soon told me that they didn’t have my windshield in stock, as it was still being shipped from Orlando. I was pretty angry, considering I had numerous appointment confirmations prior to the appointment. Plus, how could a windshield replacement shop not confirm they had the one item they need most that morning before the appointment? Anyway, I was polite to the employees despite being peeved and took my keys and left. They said they would call me when the windshield arrived.They called me the same day and the windshield had arrived. I eventually had time to have it replaced 4 days after my original appointment. The crack had spread badly by then and I was lucky the windshield had remained intact. The replacement went fine and has held up for the week I’ve had it.I rated 2 stars because this shop, a windshield replacement shop, didn’t have a windshield when I arrived at an appointment time that they had scheduled. They didn’t even realize they didn’t have the windshield until after I had checked in. A professional business should do a morning inventory to make sure all required parts and tools are on hand for the day’s appointments. If anything is missing, let people know BEFORE the appointment so you can waste less of their time.

I had my car windshield replace the technician who came to replace my windshield broke both of the molding on my car and didn’t screw back the nails on the wipers. I been dealing with them for about 2 1/2 months and been getting the round around. The store manager is completely rude and disrespectful, requested to speak with someone higher above and he flat out refused to give me there information or have them call me back. This is a nightmare I would be highly careful coming here

I had an appointment scheduled through my car insurance for a windshield replacement. I had multiple reminders and confirmations for my appointment between 8am-12pm. My assigned technician, Samuel, never showed, never called. At noon I called the shop. They said the tech had been held up by a previous job and would still plan to get to me today. I asked for an updated ETA and was told that the Tampa office would called me back shortly or the technician himself with the update. No call back. So I called again and asked if they could at least tell me how many people he had in front of me. They couldnt answer that either. They said the latest he would come was 5pm. So I called back at 4:40pm to be told that they didnt see a technician assigned to me at all anymore. No communication, no call to reschedule, nothing. I have now seen multiple bad reviews written here with an unhelpful thanks for your feedback from the owner. Obviously the owner does not care to get his staff or procedures straight, nor cares about putting customers or communication first. I am expecting a technician to come out on my rescheduled date. But I 100% will never recommend them again. I hope you actually use these reviews to make a change in your business or I can guarantee youll continue to lose business and referrals.

Made an appointment. Then the technician never showed, never called, never text. After waiting 45 minutes to speak to someone in the online chat, I was told everything was closed and to wait to call the next day. The following day, it took 2 hours to speak to a person on the phone ( company only wants automation)..I was given an in person appointment. An hour after I dropped off my car, they informed me that my windscreen was in the technicians vehicle from the day previous and they couldnt replace it without it (as if there only 1 Honda civic windscreen). Had to get angry to have them take me seriously...4 hours later.. they finally fixed it. All in all, I lost 10 hours of work over this company. Theyve cornered the market and dont care about customers anymore. Its all automated so good luck if anything goes other than planned with your appointment. Thank you George the technician that ghosted my appointment.

Scheduled on Tuesday to have windshield replaced on Saturday. They called Saturday to say they forgot to pick it up. What, you send me 4 text and emails throughout the week as a reminder but cant remind yourself to pick up the product. Absolutely unexcusable. Dont use if you need a windshield replaced unless you remind them to pick it up.

I needed to have my windshield replaced for my bmw. George was the technician that came out to my location. He did an amazing job on the replacement. He was very professional and polite. He took great pride in his workmanship and it shows!! The new windshield looks better than factory. George really is very good at what he does and could not be happier with the job. If you ever need to to use satellite please use this location and ask for George to be your technician.

Set a time for them to come out to assess and REPLACE like their website says. A man drove up in a car and said yep thats broke let me set you up an appointment for tomorrow to come down and get it fixed. We knew it was broken its why we called! When asked how long he said 20 min. After he scheduled the appointment we got an immediate text saying it would be about 2 and a half hours. LIES! ALL LIES! NEVER AGAIN! We canceled the appointment as we did not trust Safelite in Tampa after all the lies told.

Safelite did the job of replacing windshield however the car was returned with scratches and dent that supposedly was there already. Still getting this resolved by their corporate. At least the Manager on site was very attentive and took full responsibility and action to resolve the discrepancies. ** Just make sure you take photos of your own car before you take into any time of shop.

The worse service, I gave it a 1 since 0 was not an option. Waited a week for the appointment, then guy brought the wrong glass. Rescheduled for another week to change the glass. Called corporate and was given an appointment sooner only to be called the next day to say the glass was not available and they would not be able to install the glass. As expensive as they are, not offered any discount for the inconvenience.

This is the forth time that they have come to replace my windshield. first glass had a scratch, second time they came out with the same scratched glass. The third time the new windshield they came out with had a chip in it now the forth time I was hoping I would be top priority but unfortunately they still put in a scratched glass. If you’re looking for a windshield replacement do not go to this place they talk big talk but they cannot deliver to your expectations. The manager at this place also sounds like he doesn’t know what he’s doing this guy literally told me he will buff out the scratch on my new windshield rather than giving me a new windshield without any scratches

I have no problem with the quality of the work but it has only been a couple of hours so we will see. My issue is that I paid the technician who replaced my windshield for new wiper blades. I received a receipt in my email. I then get a phone call from someone at “Safelite” saying that they need my credit card information. I explained that I already paid and I had a receipt to prove it. The caller says the payment didn’t go through on their end. The caller then put his manager on the phone who said that it went through on the technician’s end but not on their end. I asked for their phone number and then hung up and called my bank. Since there was no pending charge, I called Safelite back at the number on their website and verified that Safelite had not charged my card. And only then did I give my credit card info. I don’t know if this is a reoccurring issue but you can’t be too careful.

Safelite replaced my windshield after it had cracked. The process was easy and my technician George did a great job on the replacement. He was professional, told me early during my time window when approximately he was coming and followed up again when on the way and took time to make sure the work met my needs. I would highly recommend! The online selection for my car was a little confusing so I had selected wrong windshield type online at first and my first technician, John was also very helpful and knowledgeable as well to explain what I needed and help me reschedule to when they had the right windshield.

I took my scion tC 2008 to get the trunk door glass repaired, and to an extend, it looked like a job well done, but two days after, I noticed they did not install the rubber seals on top or sides of the glass. I went to claim about it, and the technician said i was lying and that the glass never comes with rubbers, they even questioned if I had bought the car used (I did not), implying that what i had before was after market. Now i have to go back with pictures of another scion, so they believe me and make right on the job.

Maybe if I write a review, theyll answer. Ive been back and forth for a couple weeks. First, we had an appointment set and the driver broke the glass. I never heard back to reschedule. I called back only for them to twll me my insurance claim wasnt approved even tbough it was. I went back and forth with them to set another date then finally did, today. They were first scheduled from 8-12. Then changed from 22-5. It is no2 5:43pm and I havemt heard from them nor have they shown up or had decency to call. Ive tried calling to see whats going on but of course its after hours so i cant speak with anyone. Terrible company terrible customer service.

My windshield cracked from a rock on the highway, and they were able to replace the windshield that same week. George from the N Armenia location was awesome! Their eta was between 12p-5p, and he came to my place of work right at 12p and was able to do everything in the parking lot while I was working. A leaf had managed to sneak into one of the A/C vents while the glass was off and was making a lot of noise. George came to my house that evening to remove the leaf and resolve the problem. He was so kind and professional, he provided excellent service and I would highly recommend working with him!

They did a great job replacing my windshield however a month later the side strip blew off my car cuz they didnt lock in the clips all the way so now my car looks junky with the missing side piece cant get ahold of a real person when you call the number they just want to schedule an appointment now its going to cost me $100 to fix my car when it was something that they should have put on correctly will never go back to Safelite

I dropped my car off for a windshield replacement, I just got home and notice my front right rim is curbed really bad! I didn’t notice it when picking up but just got home and saw it when I was getting stuff out of my car. I’ve tried to call customer care and each time I’m sent to a recording saying everything is handled online. I have no idea how to get ahold of someone, I’m extremely frustrated!

I recently got my car towed due to the fact that the technician who installed my windshield took my apartment decal with him. I tried to contact Safelite for reimbursement. When I cantact the company about this issue, they did nothing. I asked to speak to a manager, and the manager was so rude and not very helpful. He said his technician do not take decal off an old windshield to put on a new windshield, however the technician took my employer decal off the old windshield and put it on the new windshield. When I tried to convey that to the manager, he said well he probably tried to take the apartment decal off to put on the new windshield, but he probably ripped it. As a paying customer through my insurance, you would think that this business would care about their customers and reputation, but they do not. I will never use them again, nor will I recommend their service.

Had an appointment for them to install at our office so I rented a vehicle for our driver. After they missed the appointment window they called and said they have to reschedule because this job requires 2 techs due to glass size. They should have known this when they ordered the glass but anyways I rescheduled for the following day. We kept the rental car for an extra day, after they did not show up again I called and after 3 attempts to reach a person they said they were told to cancel the appointment. I absolutely NEVER said to cancel anything, it was setup to use the same time window the following day. Do not waste your time with Safelite, there are many other glass companies that offer mobile installations that will show up when scheduled.

The staff was very polite and attentive. They brought my car right in during my appointment time and was done within the hour. They were super professional and courteous. The waiting area was clean, and the bathroom was immaculate. They even recalibrated my camera for the lane keep assist at no charge, where Chevrolet wants $120 for this. They always do a great job and I was very satisfied with the repair that was done. Safelite offers a warranty on the repair and Is upfront on what it covers.

Great customer service! My technician Boe was not only polite and professional but he exceeded expectation. He not only changed out my windshield but in doing so realized that a part of the frame was broken and jammed into place by the person who last changed my windshield. By the time Boe showed me what happened he had already contacted his manager and gotten approval to have the part order and replaced! His manager called me a few days later and scheduled the installation of the new part. Im so thankful he took the initiative and the time to do a great job. If you can request a tech, request Boe!

Within ten minutes of the technician confirming his arrival time, the appointment was canceled by text without explanation. Chase, the technician, would not respond to calls or texts. I had to call the corporate office who told me the replacement glass had scratched, and rather than contact us to say so, or make an effort to honor the appointment by procuring unscratched glass, he just canceled, leaving us out the time spent waiting, with a still-un-driveable vehicle, and responsible for starting a reservation from scratch. Absolutely unacceptable.

Also, the woman from reception is incredibly rude. One time we used them before they did a pretty great job, but it seems as though they don’t care anymore.

Called on Tuesday the 14th and was told I had a 8am appointment to fix a star in my windshield, also they asked for my cell phone number to put on file. When I got there today at 8am they were already in an argument with a customer about how she voided the warranty on the work they did that didnt work. After that customer stomped off I approached the window and after the lady was unable to find me in Her system she said she was sorry. The real problem is she didnt offer to fit me in or reschedule the appointment just Im sorry. This is why their online Google review is only 3.5 stars, bad part is my dealership sends them business. Guess I wont be sending them any more of my clients their way, just really bad customer service in my opinion.

Worst experience with a company I ever encountered. They do not even deserve a 1 STAR. I had a winshield repaired on Friday . July 10th on the location off Armenia in Tampa,Fl. The windshield was not properly repaired. My center rear view was broken. I returned to the shop risking getting into an accident they initially told me 2 weeks for them to fix. Complained spoke to Assistant Manager who told me they can repair the following Monday. Unacceptable!!! 4 days later without a car and did not cover my tranportation expenses for work. Below Poor customer service and quality on my vehicle. Terrible quality with install. Would rather hire a 3rd party mom and pops to fix or a different company will never return or recommend. I took my car to this place and the experience wasn’t positive at all!!! They couldn’t replace my windshield because of a couple of little holes in the car and didn’t put back the old windshield, so I got stock in there and they made me call a tow truck in order to have my car back, which of course was BS!!! But I went to another place and fix the problem in one hour! The moral of this story is not all the big places do a good job and certainly I won’t set a foot again in there. Go to a local place they work with you and fix your glass problem.

2 words to describe the guys who work here: Crooks & con men! And if you read any review on this company, read this one! I brought my car here with a crack in the windshield about the size of a pea (literally), handed them my keys, and after 45 minutes of waiting they brought it back to me with a giant crack (about a foot long) But that wasnt the worst part, they told me that I HAD TO PAY FOR AN ENTIRE WINDSHIELD. This came as a shock to me because I went there to get a repair that totalled about $100-110 and ended up with a repair that cost over $350! The most egregious part was that the day of my repair, I told the manager that since they are the ones who created the problem they should give me some form of discount (at least) and he refused. Its not right. If I never went there I would have saved money and time. I was advised to go to small claims court by a friend of the family who also owns his own mechanic shop, but I believe karma will give those scum bags what they deserve. It was my first and last time going to this company! Theyre of low integrity and like the scam people out of their money. I warn anyone that wants to use them, DO NOT DO IT! Id hate to see them take money from another hard working person. Theyre horrible people who wont hesitate to damage your vehicle more if they see the opportunity to make more money. Can’t thank Safelight Auto glass enough for replacing my windshield. It was easy to schedule the appointment, they communicated quickly about when they were coming to my house and arrived on time. My technician Michael was very professional and after installing my windshield, even helped vacuum the inside seats of my car to make sure my car was in the best condition it could be. Thank you for your efficient and user-friendly services.

Changed out my Jeep windshield. So far so good. They were nice and the service only took an hour. Jeep windshield are smaller though so probably not as bad as other cars.
