I was able to get an appointment much sooner than with the other repair businesses. The repairman was knowledgeable, efficient and thorough.

I had an error code on the display. ARS came out promptly and determined what was needed. They order needed part and made repairs when part was available. The service was prompt and worker was courteous. I recommend this company.

Let me just say, I was exceptionally pleased with the service I received from this company. I had a ceiling leak which dripped onto my shaggy bathroom rug. I decided to wash it in the washer. The whole rug dismantled in my machine. I searched online for companies that could repair my machine. They were so ridiculously priced just to come look at my machine. Then, I stumbled up on Appliance Repair, the gentlemen who answered the phone was so nice. He told me how much it would cost to come look at the machine and stated that if I agreed to let them repair it, this cost would be deducted from the actual repair. The young man who repaired my machine was only 21 years old. I was so impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. He repaired my machine and its working like a charm. He even gave me some pointers on how to keep my machine in great working order and my repair came with a 90 day warranty if anything were to go wrong with it! Beware of the cost . I was charged 219.00 for a plastic hose for my ice maker . It’s 99.99 for them to come out and if you don’t go with there price you still have to pay the 99.99 . I then had to wait 7 days before they came back out. I went online and looked up the part needed a hose it was 21.79 for the hose. So I ended up paying 19100 for the hose . They didn’t replace the complete hose he cut it to replace the part that was leaking. So be careful . They don’t repair same day and your going to get a 30 warranty on there work… shop around and get a estimate that won’t cost you 99.99 if you don’t go with them .

Samsung refrigerator died - Jason came out the next day after my call - diagnosed the problem and was back with the parts in 3 days. Repaired and up and running again. A pleasure dealing with hime and the front office who were very efficient. Another problem was dealt with quickly - just needed power cycling as a result of a power outage confusing the fridges brain.I couldnt be more pleased.

My experience with ARS was excellent. My dishwasher went completely dead on Wednesday. I called ARS and received an appointment for between 10 - noon on Thursday. Rudy called shortly after 10:00 to let me know he was on his way and arrived about 15 minutes later. He quickly determined that the problem was just a loose power wire. He fixed it, tested the washer and was on the way to the next call in less than 15 minutes. The repair cost was much less than I anticipated. (I thought the digital control panel would need to be replaced.) As a bonus, Rudy was very polite and friendly. I am very happy with the service and will certainly use ARS again if the situation arises.

Ill make this short and sweet. This company over charges for their services and parts. They charged me $305.54 to replace a heating element. Yes we agreed to them performing the work but the repairman did not provide an itemized quote breaking down labor and parts cost. My wife and I both were distracted with our own work and failed by not paying close enough attention (our bad). After receiving the bill I called the company to have it broken down for me. I was told the heating element was $84.00 and the rest is labor. Well I found the heating element on-line for $24.00 dollars. So $221.54 (after deduction (supposedly) for the 89.00 service call) was the labor cost for a 20 minute service call. Thats over 200.00 dollars an hour, and well over a 100% mark-up on parts. This is all on me for not paying close enough attention, however what I am mad about is the fire hazard that the tech left behind. You see the vent hose was left off because I was informed that it needed to be cleaned.(they dont clean vents). Plus the tech never cleaned the lint inside the bottom of the dryer around the heating element.(thats on them). All Im saying is you better pay close enough attention on this company, I was not pleased with my experience.

Literally could not ask for better service. They asked what was wrong with my oven and ordered parts ahead of time, so they were able to do the repair the next day on the spot. Everyone I interacted with at the company was lovely and made a stressful experience so much easier do deal with. Will definitely use them again if I ever need another repair!

I am so pleased with our service! Our Frigidaire was not getting cold anymore. Jason came out and he told us something simple we could try that would save us money. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable! After that didn’t work, he came right out and checked every single thing on our fridge and was able to replace a part and verify that was the only issue. These guys are clowns. My fridge stopped working and I called them to come out and repair my fridge. They told me 4 to 5 days to come out due to the high volume of calls. Fair I told them Ill wait. On the day of 10 minutes before the technician arrives he ask me has the fridge been connected for the last 24hrs. I told him no. He told me it must be running 24hrs before so he can examine the fridge. I told him we werent told that. If we were told that we would have never disconnected the fridge. So they tried to reschedule us for 2 days later. After waiting for almost a week. Whatever you do dont disconnect your fridge since they wont tell you.

My dryer was making a funny noise, and I had used Appliance Repair Specialists to fix my refrigerator in the past, so I called them. The technician arrived a little early for our appointment. It took him about 7 minutes to determine the problem with my dryer. Unfortunately, the repair estimate was very expensive (about 75% of the cost of a new dryer). The dryer is 16 years old, so I opted to not get the repair. I happily paid the trip charge, and will start shopping for a new dryer.

Appliance Repair Specialists repaired, actually rebuilt, my 15 year-old Maytag washer. It nows works like new. We are very pleased. It (still) matches the dryer and (still) fits in the custom designed space. So essentially they saved me about $1,500 from buying new units. The technicians were determined to rebuild the washer and even had to find another unit from which to scavenger a drum.I would highly recommend this company. August of 2016, I called this company to come repair my washer. It had been leaking. A representative by the name of Mario came to my home told me the issue. I asked him his opinion. The repair would cost 376 or buy a new washer. He proclaimed the brand of washer was worth fixing and the parts were under a LIFETIME warranty. So I followed the instructions of who I expected to be trustworthy. Not even a year later my washer started leaking again. It had gotten worse, I called. The girl on the phone told me there was NO warranty and they were going to charge me 90 dollars to come to my home to look at the problem. It’s the same problem as before people! And I spent almost 400 dollars repairing it a YEAR ago. And they’d recommend I pay for ANOTHER part. I would not recommend this joke of a company to a single soul! Terrible way to ensure return customers!

The young lady answering the phone was very helpful and called me back quickly with a time they could come out. Mario was very knowledgeable about our fridge and gave us some great tips for a future appliance purchase.

We were recommended this company by our neighbor who had her dryer repaired for the exact same service issue. She showed us the cost of her repair and it was reasonable.We figured it was the heating element and called and the part was between $49 and $89. After a $90 service call they told us the problem was exactly what we knew it was.But the issue? A nearly $400 repair bill for roughly 30 minutes of labor. More than twice what our neighbor had paid.Buyer beware.

This is a 5-star review for service that was never performed. My washer broke and I scheduled service. The day of the service the tech called me and discussed the issue. I had done some research into what the problem was and the tech said exactly what my research had found. Then came the 5-star part. He explained to me what the problem was most likely to be, then explained that in his experience, most people are better off replacing the unit then going down the rabbit hole of repairs for this problem. He called me because he didnt want me to waste my money on a service call when odds were that I would replace the unit anyway. This kind of concern for the customers experience is more than a person can hope for on most days. I hope something breaks soon so I can finally give this guy some business. He has earned my loyalty. I cant comment on how good they are at repairs because they saved me from paying for repairs. :)

Our fridge started leaking water from underneath. Found Appliance Repair Specialists on the Better Business Bureau website - they had an A+ rating...a much deserved rating. Nobody wants to deal with having to fork over money to repair an appliance, but they made it as painless as possible. Eric was professional, friendly and very informative. I will definitely be calling them again for future reference and would strongly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.

Stay away from this place. All they want is the service fee. Our washing machine isnt spinning properly. Therepair man cme in cheked the machine said it worked fine but it does not, still same problem but they charged me the 90.00. When I called to complain they said there was nothing to be done. We called Appliance Repair Specialists to assess a water leak in our refrigerator spilling into the inside of the food bins and shelf surfaces. We were given an appointment the next day during a time we requested. Our serviceman, Mario Chinchilla, arrived on time, was professional and quickly fixed a frozen drain and bent heater connection blocking the drain hole. We would definitely would contact this company if service repair when needed in the future and will request Mario because he knew what he was doing and was helpful in sharing his knowledge with us.

Repair specialist came out, understood what my problem was right away, appears to be a manufacturing defect and repaired it.. I explained to him that I could have been ripped off very easily by someonewho was not as honest as he was... I thanked him for the quick action and repairing the problem so quickly at a very reason cost.. My only wish is that I would hope the repair would be more permanent than wrapping electrical tape around the tube that carried the water to the ice maker.. I am hoping that the repair will last for years..

Would rate zero. Asked for a 30 min call to meet tech at property, and was reassured it would be no problem. I received a call while i was at least 20 min away in the middle of my own job, letting me know the tech was on site. I explained what situation I was in and asked for a 20 min reprieve to get there. 27 min later upon arrival , NO TECH. Apparently he was tired of waiting and I was informed they couldnt get a tech back out to me until Monday. This is an occupied unit that my tenants depend on my company to provide service in reasonable times, and due to poor communication I was not able to do so. Just holding up their end of our scheduling would have gone a long way to prevent this. Unprofessional practice in my opinion.

I described my problem, a terrible screeching noise in the washing cycle of my Maytag washing machine, and she said she would get back to me as soon as she could schedule a repairman. She did. The time was scheduled and the repairman was here exactly when he was supposed to be. Eric was polite, clean and knowledgeable about his work. He also had a great sense of humor about my yappy little Yorkie, Candy, who thinks everyone who comes here should pay attention only to her. The problem was diagnosed, parts ordered and the repair scheduled. Again, Eric came at the appointed time and installed the new part. Quality of service depends on the technician sent to do the repair. Unfortunately I was not lucky to get an experienced tech; troubleshooting for my refrigerator not dispensing water properly took 10 minutes, tech got there was super quick only checked one thing and that was it.Ordered part and setup follow up appointment, again arrives and tries to rush through everything, disconnects stuff, water leaks all over my floor does not ask for a towel or something prior, back panel does not close with the new dispenser hose installed, after many attempts of forcing the part and luckily it did not break he said the part is probably wrong, setup another appointment and left.When they setup appointments they call you the day before the appointment with a time window of approx 4 hours. So basically you cant plan anything else the day of the appointment since you will not know the time window until the day before.It was as simple repair which it seems it will take them 3 appointments. Appt 1 troubleshooting for 10 minutes,.Appt 2 repair and slamming of my fairly new and expensive refrigeratorAppt 3 another appointment since tech was inexperienceI canceled the 3rd appointment and will finish the repair with someone else. I mean I have to be home every single time people do have to work.Also, they overcharge in my opinion, part was not too expensive, labor should not take more than 1 hour and they wanted close to $300.Will not recommend or do business with them, the fact they put inexperience techs to do work by themselves says a lot about the company.

They were on time, the technician was very helpful, explained what our problem was, and even how we might prevent this problem from happening in the future. I knew exactly what was wrong with my washer (front door gasket was torn and water leaked out the door) and needed it repaired. Called on a Friday , the part was ordered and was instructed they would call when part arrived to schedule the service call. Unfortunately I left off a # at the end of the Model (did not look in the machine but on my purchase receipt) The part would have fit perfectly but the gasket had 2 openings for a light and another hose, so the tech, called gave the correct Model # and indeed was not the correct one. Another part ordered, came in the next day and the following day was installed. The tech could have easily installed the wrong part and left hoping it worked but he was honest enough to at least question it. So not wanting to take any chances I could wait a couple for more days to have it done right! I have always had great service from Appliance Repair Specialists and will continue to use them for my appliance repairs.

Called an hour later and she said again someone would call. Third time I called, woman told me they had been closed since noon. Spent all afternoon at home waiting. Not the end of the world, but wont be using them.

Spoke with their receptionist Sol. Because I was unknowingly calling for something they dont do, insulation, and I asked if she knew someone who did it she hung up on me. Very rude place and happy they were not able to help me

The repair person came exactly at the beginning of the time frame. He was very knowledgeable and fixed our gas stove in a timely manner.

The repair man was great but scheduling was kind of a mess. Long story short, though, the repair was done early and well.

I had a repair service call scheduled from 12-3pm. I was on the phone with Shannon from service department and she advised me my repairman Mario would be arriving in three minutes. I called the front gate and left his name so he would have easy entry. He was directed to the front office where they asked him to forward his certificate of insurance, but offered him a parking pass. He refused the pass and told them he would reschedule. He did not call me to tell me there was an issue. I waited for thirty minutes and was called back by Shannon who was the first to advise there was a problem. She was courteous and tried to get the repairman to come back but he refused. I dont understand why he would not be able to return if he had a set number of appointments in one day, and missed one appointment, why could he not come back to complete a work order? I will have to take off of work tomorrow again to get this issue resolved. Needless to say that the inconvenience from this matter was great. -----update: Mario did show up to do the repair, but lacked the part to fix the stove. He realized he was missing the part within 5 minutes of arriving at the appointment. I offered to go to Lowes ir Home Depot to pick up the part (which is less than one mile away) and he refused citing he was busy. Another appointment had to made for the same repair. I was lucky enough to rely on my roommate to take off work the following day for Mario to conduct the work. My job would not allow me to miss three afternoons in a row. I was happy with the repair work, they were clean and the work was sound. My chief complaint is in the way that the appointments seem to be overbooked so much so that the repairman cannot address the slightest unexpected occurrence. I was able to utilize a coupon for the repair, so I dont have any grievance with the pricing, which was very upfront. From a customer service stand point, I cannot recommmend them for future repairs and will not be using them in the future.

Scheduled a service was told I would be called when tech was enroute. No call, no show.

As always, my refrigerator stopped working on Friday before the weekend. Appliance Repair Specialists were able to schedule me for Monday afternoon where the other service companies contacted could not do better than Wednesday or Thursday of that week. With an arrival window of 1pm to 4pm on Monday the technician actually arrived at 2pm, well before the deadline. Past experience with other services (A/C repair, cable service, etc.) is that I usually wait 20 minutes past the promised time. The technician, Chris, was very friendly, professional, and neat. The repair was completed without difficulty and did not include any hint of unnecessary work or parts. It turned out to be a broken wire connector to the compressor. Parts and labor came in at just over $100.00 when I had feared the costs would be more like $300 to $400. Its comforting to have a go-to service and Id recommend ARS if you have a problem. GSJ Tampa

My refrigerator stopped cooling, freezing and making ice. All the things you did not want to happen. My first contact was Sears who convinced me to take out a Home Warranty contract and they would fix my frig in 24 hours. When they came, the tech said that they could not fix it because the compressor was under manufacturer warranty and the were not an authorized Maytag repaid center. Well, after over a week of fighting with Sears and finally just cancelling the contract I contacted ARS who returned my web inquiry with in a few hours. Their tech, Mario, came and evaluated and the compressor was ordered. They did say it would be two days and then when I asked for an update it was now another week before the distributor would get us the compressor. Fortunately of us, I had already complained to Maytag directly about Sears. They called me and asked for an update and also the part #. When I told Maytag the ETA from the distributor, then immediately shipped a new compressor from the factory to my house. I then contact ARS again to schedule Mario to put it in for us. He came early the next day and was done in an hour. Very professional and polite. Within two hours after he left my frig was dropping ice and everything was running like new. ARS was a little expensive in my opinion but they got the job done and with excellent results. ARS will be my go to Appliance Repair Specialists from now on.
