Called 3 times, each time left on hold for 20 minutes. Went to the store and it was understaffed only one technician and one pharmacist. Ive worked at CVSs as a technician in much higher profile areas and even we would answer the phones quicker than this location did. Could not even get my medication transferred to another location because they would not answer their phones!

I have been calling the pharmacy for over half an hour. No one answers. I called the store and finally get someone to answer and they said that there was a line at the pharmacy. I get transferred to the pharmacy and put on hold again for another 20 mins. Horrible service. I understand they might be busy but how are they not answering phones at all.

This place has become a disgrace. The Pharmacy never picks up a call, looses refill information, directs you to the wrong products and the inventory is not close to being what it once was. What a terrible place. Taking my business down the road to where the customer is treated correctly. I should have done this years ago. Good by CEO Karen Lynch. Another once great company gone to the dogs by people who couldn’t manage a one car funeral procession.

Okay so every time I use that pharmacy, my scripts are never ready. The pharmacy is mostly clueless with a few exceptions. Today was particularly bad though, I was forced to prove my identification in multiple documents when all thats required to pick up a controlled is valid I.d. I received my second Moderna vaccine this morning. Store and staff clean, friendly and efficient. Waiting on line for 20 minutes then another 15 minutes for post-vaccine observation, I needed to use the ladies restroom. Disgusting and filthy. No toilet paper. No paper towels. No hand dry-blower. No soap. A dirty half-filled sanitizer pump dispenser. Urine or water on the floor around the toilet. Urine on the toilet seat? No garbage bin.

Not the employees fault but the pharmacy is always understaffed and very rarely can I just get my medicine without an issue. its the same dosage every month and somehow there is ALWAYS a mix-up. often results in a few day gap between refills and i have to convince them to let me pay out of pocket because they would rather me go without meds for a few days apparently.

The staff is nice and helpful. The issue there is the wait times for the pharmacy. This past Friday, my doctor sent a prescription into them at 2:30. I got there to pick it up around 6:00 that evening, not only was it not ready, I had to wait an hour to get it, literally took until 7:00. They were totally overwhelmed, phone was ringing off the hook in the back, one of the staff member’s was taking incoming prescriptions from the computer, many people were in line waiting, they need to come up with a more efficient system there

I work late nights so this is the only CVS or sometimes only place in the area that is open to pick up little things that I may need when nothing else is open such as body wash and tooth paste and random things like that. I have to say I used to avoid this place like the plague because I was not a big fan of the service but I am extremely impressed with one of the employees enthusiasm, personality and knowledge of the store. Any time I come in the store, Valerie is always helpful, and informational. I can say I will continue to shop here and CVS you need to keep hiring employees like Valerie. Hard worker and very dedicated to the job!

This rating is for the pharmacy. They are so under staffed (one person working in the pharmacy) all the time. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone and the manager continues to staff the pharmacy this way. It took me two days just to get a response from the pharmacy and that’s because I complained to the manager. Moving to Walgreens ASAP!

Terrible new automated phone System. Total waste of time.It repeatedly does not understand my verbal responses even though I speak English very clearly. The old system where you just touched the numbers worked much much better. However, that seems to be no longer available. If they still had the option of touching the numbers, that would make me a loyal customerI’ll just go to a different pharmacy.

Youll never get through trying to reach anyone in the pharmacy Dept. by phone. Ive never encountered such bad customer service in my entire life. Absolutely atrocious! It has nothing to do with Covid-19 it has been like this for years and getting worse. Time to switch to another pharmacy.

Pretty standard pharmacy. The staff at the drive through are nice and helpful. One big problem is that the drive through is at a really awkward angle and that makes it very difficult to pull up near the window. Also if you have a prescription that is ready to pick up they will bombard you with calls until you get it.

They often claim they didnt get a prescription without checking and when they check they do have it. They make you wait really long when you come to pick up prescriptions I once waited an hour for my meds for no reason. I also once saw a pharmacist eating while she was handling people meds. Idk if thats illegal or anything but it is a safety hazard.

Horrendous. Not only did they fill my rx with the wrong medication... the pharmacy staff is also rude, slow, and unprofessional. They are understaffed and incompetent. The store end of this CVS is great, always friendly, but I highly recommend using another pharmacy if you need a prescription filled. Please note, this review is based on several frustrating interactions with this location.

Pharmacist denied me Plan B oral contraceptive!!!!!! This is illegal, unethical, and morally reprehensible. Older woman with long hair first didnt know what the drug was (you call yourself a pharmacist???), and then refused to give it to me without a prescription even though its over-the-counter for any age/gender. I showed her New York State and Supreme Court laws on my phone and she still refused. She is incompetent, rude, and deserves to be fired and have her pharmacist license taken away immediately!!!!!!!!!!!

Utterly pathetic. Rude staff, unwilling to do their jobs. They don’t answer the phones, they allow your prescription to sit on a voicemail then claim it was never sent. They just never checked the voicemail. Go to any other pharmacy in Suffern, this place is a clown show. They honestly should be ashamed considering they are dealing with the health of people

I was hoping to leave a message for the manager of this particular CVS but I guess I have to settle for a review. Right now its 320 in the morning and we just came back from CVS that Indian rock. We showed up at 2 AM after a prescription for pain medication has been sent in from the local emergency room for a broken wrist. We waited for 45 minutes while the lone pharmacist waited on a customer at the drive up window, another customer at the counter, and us. Each one of those other customers needed significant and timely insurance information, neither of which they had available. It was only after 45 minutes of watching my increasing frustration did the pharmacist ask the customers in front of me to allow me to go ahead of them. My transaction took a total of four minutes. What I dont understand is why a company as large and, seemingly as intelligent, as a major pharmaceutical chain would allow a single, solitary, pharmacist to be the only professional on staff dealing with computers, insurance information, telephones, drive-up windows, and walk-ins. It seems logical that the one simple thing this pharmacy should be doing is shutting down the drive-up window when there is only one pharmacist on duty. That allows the pharmacist to focus just on what is in front of and not behind him or her. I want to emphasize this was no fault of the pharmacist. This is strictly a managerial issue and I point the blame directly at the people making the decision to keep only one pharmacist on staff at that time running ragged trying to handle multiple points of transaction. If the management wants to contact me about this they have my number in their records.Order for me to post this I have to give it some rating. The one star I gave it his way too generous.

They don’t have enough help. What should have been a 5 minute wait took well over an hour. Then they finally told me they didn’t have the medicine, only because I asked. It took them another 5 minutes to tell me the next closest pharmacy didn’t have it either; only because I asked. Finally some called another store 10 minutes away to see if they had it. I drove to the next CVS and they made me wait 20 minutes. Never again. They just lost a customer. I spend hundreds of dollars there. There loss.

HORRIBLE PHARMACY!!! Always count your pills, just picked up a RX and the count was wrong. Aside from the long wait times & rudeness from pharmacist, no one will answer your call. No one. Might as well drive there and ask all your questions in person. Beyond rude, worst service ever! And Harvy, if you dont like customers complaining, answer the damn phone!

Pharmacy staff is rude. They Fill the wrong prescriptions and then blame it on the doctor or you. They are going to kill someone with the wrong prescription. I have even called the corporate headquarters. I am going to go to the news media if there are anymore stupid mistakes. They have fgiven the wrong medication to my family members twice this month.

So I have had bad experience here in the past with it being slow but it was busy so I gave them another chance. This time they tell me they dont have the meds I need in stock so they have to order it and it wont be in till tues and if I want to use a cvs that has the meds I need I will have to call my doc and have her reperscribe the meds to another cvs.. Cust service👎👎👎👎👎😳. So with that, I wont be using cvs ever again.👋 hello Walgreens

Stop complaining.Im a former employee, but the majority of you customers are imbeciles. The pharmacy receives prescriptions from the ER, moonlight clinic, and several others...Those of you expecting a corporation like cvs to hire several six figure earning pharmacist are out of your minds...Also, stop calling the front of the store to ask them why the pharmacy is taking so long to answer the phone... you all want immediate service while youre in the store and then want to complain when a pharmacist or pharmacy tech doesnt pick up your call within the first 30 seconds... pick a struggle..Theres literally no way to expedite a call just because you call the front store or photo lab as a means to try and be connected to the pharmacy so quit...

THis could possibly be the WORST pharmacy in the East Coast.Even at 2 am theres a line at pick up and sometime at drop offTHey will do EVERYTHING they can to try and block your must have prescriptionor delay you receiving it ,especially if it s thru Express Scripts. Im on heart meds that I MUST have daily and they blocked me for 2 weeks...I told them I spoke w my lawyerand we were considering action against them.If MBA s want to see the definition of mismanagement, go to RT 59 Indian Rock and walk thru the CVS pharmacy!!!

These people, the pharmacy in particular, dont know their elbow from a hole in the ground. They gave me the wrong directions to go with a prescription, gave me totally wrong info about my insurance coverage, and basically just made up answers - which were wrong - to avoid my questions. I will never return to this store.
