Pros and cons as there always are. First of all, this place is beautiful, they did a wonderful job at converting a bank into a coffee house. That said, they could have made the design more ergonomic and fit more people. The food that I have had has been hit and miss across the board. Sometimes things are dry and have been under the lights too long. I am a member of their awards program which is slick and very useful but after spending hundreds of dollars here, I was unhappy to find out that my points expire (in my opinion quickly.. I am a save it for a rainy day guy) and also I can not use them on things that I want to use them for. It would be nice to just be able to get a coffee drink rather than an item I dont have any interest in. Maybe that is their way of making you try something you normally dont.Lastly, I was unhappy when I asked if they would sell green beans (which they wont). Just not something they do... hey its owners choice, just doesnt feel like my warm welcoming town coffee roaster. I just came back from Oregon and Washington and maybe my idea of you local friendly coffee house is too much to ask for. Asking for some green beans (which is something they have being roasters) is just something that opens up dialog about the love of coffee. The cold shoulder was just a little off-putting.

Friendly staff, fast service, and delicious options. Ordered the salmon benny and a latte, both were perfect and made so fast. Highly recommend. Dont know why this place doesnt have a line out the door.

The staff is very friendly. The coffee was great. The food was ever better. I went with “The One” which is their Bacon, egg, and Cheese on a Brioche bun. However, I opted for getting it on an everything bagel. The bacon was crispy and flavorful. The eggs were light and fluffy. Well seasoned and tasty. The bagel itself was nice and soft on the outside and crunchy as you get towards the middle. You can place your order ahead of time online. Recommended if you are planning on ordering food and are in a hurry as the order will take time to make. This is due to the food being made fresh to order. It is well worth the wait. Highly recommended! 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Exceptional, friendly staff. Excellent coffee and food. Nice space to relax or plug in and work. The building used to be a bank and the vault is open and provides a unique and quiet room if you are looking for privacy.

I love Java Love! High quality coffee and super friendly and knowledgeable people. They really care about what they do, and the prices are pretty reasonable too. Its nice that they have an open window and an outdoor seating area set up during the pandemic, makes a quick stop really easy. Love this place, cant recommend it enough!

This place is very special to me. I go here with my grandmas and we love the service and selection. I usually order the hot chocolate or chai latte with oat milk, which are both delicious. Also, I highly recommend their orange cranberry scones. Can’t wait to go back soon when indoor seating is available again!

I love supporting local coffee shops but this was a very disappointing experience. My cold brew coffee was lack luster and served in a warm coffee cup, which apparently is how it’s supposed to be served. The almond croissant was stale and what felt like deep fried somehow. I’ve never ate a croissant that felt oily 🤷‍♀️. I don’t think I’ll be back.... for $12 ( I also got a warm coffee) I was hoping for a better experience.

WOW! Just moved to Suffern from Brooklyn and was just hoping a coffee shop / brunch spot would open. It is the coffee shop of my dreams! Incredible coffee and a full menu featuring gourmet breakfast & lunch items as well as a toasts section. I ordered a toast with burrata and pesto, sooo delicious! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well. The cafe has a very relaxing atmosphere with great music. Since the space used to be a bank, the vault has a table and chairs, great for studying or getting some work done. I also appreciate the eco-friendly effort using mugs and dishes for eat-in customers and bamboo utensils for to-go. I just cannot say enough great things about this new spot, it is perfect! Im going to become a regular! Definitely check it out!

Nothing like a creamy soy latte along with a tasty chocolate chip scone. Nice place to unwind and take in the sights and aromas of their on premises coffee roasting activities.

For what I am paying for the coffee and food here its not ok to have the female employee asking me to tip when I pay. The owners should pay the employees more if they have the need to ask for a tip. Wont be back

I love Java Love. Sometimes they forget an aioli, but the food it so good. The staff are the kindest and most helpful folks. I’m s shop even more often if there were more veg / vegan options for substitution on some of the dishes. The potatoes are heaven.

When you walk in to Java love. You get the rich aroma of fresh roasted coffee then you order a traditional latte with whole milk with no sugar and and are pleased at the beautiful bouquet of flavor you got.In summary if you want a good cup of coffee this is definitely a place you can get it.I would highly recommend their coffee and their food because both were delicious and they will be seeing me again.

The coffee is great! Haven’t had a chance to taste the food but I’m looking forward to it. However, I have one major concern & I think others who I’ve been with do as well. It says you close at 6, but each time I’ve gone around 4:30ish I’ve been kicked out at 5:00 or 5:30? Last time I went around 5:45 to get a coffee you were already closed. Seems to me like the young people behind the counter don’t want to stay their schedules hours. It discouraged me from going and inviting friends. Today my friend was kicked out at 5:00. Follow your hours or don’t bother posting them at all.

Just what Suffern needed! My fiance and I have been saying that Suffern needs a coffee shop and brunch spot. Java Love is both! I love how they converted this old bank into an open space for coffee, brunch, and work. The vault even has a table in it! The coffee was delicious and the food was so fresh! I also love how environmentally friendly they are: bamboo utensils, reusable dishes, etc. Definitely hit them up for a cup and a bite!
