I have had four guitars serviced so far by Nate, and each time has been a complete success. His entire ethos behind the work leads to amazing quality, with nothing feeling phoned in or lazy in any way. The Eugene/Spfld area is really fortunate to have someone who demonstrates this level of competence and inclusiveness while working on our instruments. Ill be taking all of my guitars here for repairs and setups!

Ive only played one guitar theyve worked on so far but it was very well setup and cared for. I was able to attend their grand opening celebration too and the staff and location are really great. Hope they find great success and stick around. Ill definitely be using them again in the future. Highly recommended for repairs and setups, they have the right training/education and tools. Nates own custom guitars and Joe Parkers are worth checking out as well.edit: A couple more setups on different guitars and basses have all turned out great. I also bought a lightly-used Jaguarillo from the shop and it has quickly become on of my favorites. Local showcases and touring bands coming through and playing shows has been incredible. Cannot wait for more!

This is my go-to shop for instrument repair and set-up even though it’s a distance from home because the skill and service are stellar. As a guitar collector I’ve taken quite a variety of guitars to Nate before, during, and after he kept a storefront on Main Street - he’s now working from his home (since 2020). I’ve handed him some technically challenging jobs, delicate vintage instruments etc and each time the results have been more than satisfying. He’s been known to teach classes on set-up too if you want to learn to service your own guitar. Nate’s prices are reasonable, his talents enormous and his honesty and integrity impeccable. Helluva good guy too. There aren’t enough stars in this review system for Stahman Guitars.

The man at the desk was super chill and new all the problems and the solutions to my friends broken bass at the low price my friend was looking for. Cowboy was also in the front area, very beautiful, very kind dog. Truly exceeded my expectations of a guitar repair shop. would recommend.

Top shelf work at a very reasonable rate. Nate did a complete re-fret with stainless steel frets, including a new bone nut, bridge plate repair work and a great setup setup for $500. My Martin now plays the way it should. Im making an appointment to have him work on my other Martin

I had trouble with bowed necks on my telecaster and bass for over a decade. Multiple other shops couldnt figure them out, or made them worse. But now they feel and sound great. Nate gave a detailed diagnosis, and fixed them up better than I thought possible . Highly recommended!

Awesome experience!!.Nate is very knowledgeable. You can tell hes been at this for a long time. He did a set up on my Strat. It was done quickly and correctly. Highly recommend. Especially if youre like me and dont know a whole lot about that kind of stuff. He seems like an honest dude

I brought two guitars, one that was a simple pickup swap from passive to active, and a parts guitar that was going to use the passive pickups from the other guitar. Nothing is ever easy with a parts build, but he we was open about any little snags that happened. Ill be taking any projects I have to him in the future!

They are super easy going guys. Im no expert on guitar set up and certain specs but they explained things to me in a way I could understand and treated me with respect about it. When i received my guitar back a few weeks after drop off I was shocked, it plays so much better and they even set it up to my tuning and attack. Great place, 5 stars, highly recomend.

This is the most welcoming and helpful shop Ive been to in town. I had them ream the bridge of my acoustic guitar for new bridge pins and they did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. If you want to steer clear of the guitar snobs and chain stores, this is absolutely your place.

Though I didn’t have any repairs done at the time so can’t say anything about that. However he was very chill and was kind enough to answer questions regarding my guitar. Gave suggestions and a quote for repair. Clean and interesting shop.

Stahman Guitars is incredible! I love following their work and seeing the different guitars being worked on. Its really fun to see instruments get a complete refurbishment especially when the repairs are extensive. Im a lifelong fan of Stahman and hope to have a custom guitar built for me one day by them.
