These guys are great. Very friendly and helpful. They bend over backwards to accommodate their customers. They also have the best prices of any storage facility in the area.

One star is too good for this business.This place has aided my husband in storing all of our personal documents that he has removed from our home and his motorcycles that led to our divorce. I confronted the manager with FCPD present , after learning that the manager gave my husband after hours public access to enter and exit. The police were even called, after I explained that my husband was keeping his motorcycles there after dropping off our car to then get on one of two of his motorcycles to then go see his mistress/women the manager defended his own behavior and my husband in front of the police. I would beware, if they condone that type of behavior what else are they allowing to go on there????? I only drove away knowing per Fairfax County that half of whatever my husband has there was mine as wellAlthough I have no access. No one should ever have to confront an enabler but that is exactly what they are even after knowing that a wife with children are hurting. Your dollars are supporting this establishment!! Michael and team provided excellent customer service with answering all of my questions prior to purchasing our unit. Then the day of purchasing they were very patient and went above and beyond to make sure we got the right unit and understood everything. I really appreciate the great customer service and the promotions that we received!!! Awesome!!

Great experience, staff at this facility is very friendly and helpful. Rental trucks on-site, staff lives on premise, I also got to use one of their dollies. Price is well-rounded compare to the competition, but most importantly I believe the customer service will make customers stay:)

This facility allows husbands to store their motorcycles or ego vehicles and return them after 9pm which is suppose to be their CLOSING time. My cheating husband hit in after10pm.And how do I know because I am parked right and saw my husband as I have suspected for months have odd hours. Well today because I caught Mr.Darell Taylor Red handed lying and cheating on me literally inside the facility I was the one that was questioned.T kmThey allow our men access to their private vehicles after hours. I have pics. And yes they’re are more in a good place because they assisted destroying my marriage after 23years.

Mike and Sean are great, super down to earth, no nonsense guys. They gave me what I need to explain the costs and fees, and got me set up right away. And the prices are very competitive.

The two hillbillies working this location could not have been ruder to me and my daughter. We reserved a truck and when we showed up at 10am they yelled at us for being late. Then when we wanted to change to a smaller truck one of them lectured us that we should have done our research before making a reservation. When we asked for the new rate on the smaller truck they refused to reprice the rental. Stay away from this Penske location and I sure wouldnt use them for Mini Storage.

We recieved very good customer service from Henry i believe this is the name when I went to see and reserve the unit but the day of moving the gentle man standing out side smoking has attitude. He was inquiring y I have this much ppl if I did not rent the unit even we already rented it . Other employee told him.he has lock so it mean he has unit he said no any body can come with the lock. Owner all moving was fine but in this bussiness Customer service is the key.

I have just rented a truck for the second time from Mini U Storage in Springfield. I chose to rent a moving truck from this location solely based on its location the first time... I had such a good experience that I went slightly out of my way to rent a truck from them again to move furniture later in the same year. The two gentlemen at Mini U storage that I worked with both times were extremely helpful, transparent about costs, insurance etc., and very courteous. This is by far the best truck rental experience Ive ever had.

Customer services was excellent. They provided professional and outstanding services and were very attentive to what I needed. If I ever need storage again I will use and recommend them to anyone needing storage.

I rented here for a few years. They were very helpful on both move-in and move-out, and any time I called in-between. They made sure I had all the info I needed, not just answered my question. Autopay was handy. Rent only increased $5/yr.

In an otherwise horrible moving situation, these guys were my heros. Very nice, personable, service oriented people. Patient, respectful and empathetic to my nightmare of a move with American Hime Relocation Services ( Chicago based). They were so kind to me. Good pricing for this area. If you need storage, give them a call. 😀😀

Friendly, decent place with fair prices. They let you use a nice sized truck for free when you move in and they gave me a free lock. Units for rent could be cleaner though, bring a broom with you.

This facility is great for storage.The GoodThey provide a loaner truck and shelves if requested .The BadThe price has gone up steadily. I started at $105 for 5x10 Im now up to $119.Found a dead rat in my unit. Found my space bag with mouse droppings inside on my clothes.

The employees were nice and helpful. BUTTT the place is infested with rats. I had everything I own stored here for a few months during the course of my move to Florida only to find out when the time came to retrieve my furnishings, everything had been destroyed by rats. All my mattresses gone, furniture chewed up, clothing ruined, and was never even offered a refund for the unit. Luckily insurance came through with some cost reimbursement, but still ended up loosing a lot more then I was compensated. The worst part was the management told me it was not an ongoing issue, but when we loaded up the truck to haul everything to the local dump yard, the worker at the dump yard asked if we were coming from Mini U because they have had a lot of customers hauling their ruined belongings there. I can also attest we were not the only unit they got into being that there were obviously holes in the sheet rock separating the storage units that were chewed through going straight down the line of units. So in the end I had to pay to store my items in an infested facility and had to pay for a moving company to haul my ruined belongings to a dump and pay the dump to allow us to drop off. The storage facility wouldnt even let us utilize their dumpster to trash everything.

Bad experiences, the customer service very unprofessional And never recommend to my family and friends. Im still there because is close to my house.
